It was a few days after your stopped the robbers when you found yourself on patrol duty. You learned that there was a set schedule for everyone to take turns in patrolling when the Avengers were out of town. You had Mondays with Miles and then Thursdays with Marvel. Tonight you had Marvel. Your coms were on but neither of you were really talking. Well, you weren't really talking. Marvel was talking to herself about a episode of a show she didn't like.
You flew around while keeping an eye out on the streets below. Nothing was happening so you just began to mess around by spinning and flipping in the air. You yawned which caught Marvel's attention.
Marvel: You tired?
Y/N: Bored. Is it bad that I kinda want someone to commit a crime?
Marvel: Well if crime goes away then we're kind of out of a job.
True. You continued to fly around but suddenly you caught something out of the corner of your eye. You stopped midair and looked around at the rooftops. Were your eyes playing tricks on you? Suddenly you saw something move across the rooftops again.
Y/N: Uh, random question, how many cat Heroes are there?
Marvel: A few.
Y/N: Any of them wear a black cat suit and have white hair?
There wasn't a response.
Marvel: Uh, no? You may want to keep an eye on her.
Y/N: Her?
You decided not to question it and flew over to the last location you saw the figure. You landed on the roof and extinguished the flames. You looked around a bit before your heard something on the next building over. The person was looking at you from the shadows. You turned to confront them but they leaped away. You decided to give chase.
You used your strength to leap onto the next building in attempt to follow the figure. You ran and leaped across a few more buildings before the figure jumped out of the shadows and kicked you down. You recovered and popped out your claws. The figure smirked at the sight.
???: Mm. Normally I'm not into knives but I can make an exception.
The figure then walked out into the light to reveal themselves.
Y/N: Who're you?
Black Cat: You don't know me? This could be fun.
She popped out her own claws and rushed towards you. You leaped away and blocked an attack with the claws.
Y/N: You're kinda strong lady.
Black Cat: Lady? How old are you?
You pushed her away enough to get into a better stance.
Y/N: Good question. We're going with 16 right now.
Black Cat narrowed her eyes.
Black Cat: I'm only a year older then! Don't go treating me like a old lady!
You were now confused.
Y/N: Uh, sorry? I don't know anything about you.
Black Cat: Would you like to~
What the hell is up with this girl? Can't you met one normal female?! She leaped at you again but you managed to block the attack. She suddenly kicked your feet out from under you causing you to fall. She was quick to climb on top of you. Her claws were now at your neck. You weren't really scared since you could just morph them through.
Black Cat: I don't think I've seen you around before.
Y/N: I'm new.
You began to heat up you body. The heat began to affect her once she began to sweat.
Black Cat: Isn't it a bit hot up here? I know it's summer but come on.
You smirked before your hand burst into flames causing Cat to jumped off of you. You stood up and smirked under your scarf as you entire arm was engulfed in flames.
Black Cat: Seriously, who the hell are you?
Y/N: Haven't gotten a Hero name yet.
Cat smirked and retracted her claws. She slowly began to approach you and your senses didn't tingle. She wasn't a threat for now. She got close enough and looked you over.
Black Cat: Strong, sharp, and hot. Quite a Frankenstein aren't you?
Y/N: Frankenstein?
She began to run a finger up your chest with a look in her eye that made you feel a bit uncomfortable.
Black Cat: Well, since you're new here, why don't I show you around? Maybe teach you a few things.
Your cheeks were now red.
Y/N: I need an adult.
Black Cat: I can be your adult.
Y/N: Uh.
A large fist suddenly slammed onto the roof behind Cat which caused her to roll her eyes.
Black Cat: Of course.
She turned around and you found Marvel standing there with her arms crossed.
Black Cat: Biggest cock block in all of history.
Y/N: What?!
Cat rolled her eyes and reached into her pocket.
Black Cat: Screw it. I'm a bit busy.
She threw down a pallet which filled the entire rooftop in smoke. When it cleared, you and Marvel were the only ones there.
Y/N: What the hell just happened?
Marvel: Black Cat. Cat burglar. Get it?
You sighed. Another robber? When will you get to fight an actual bad guy?
Marvel: Though, I totally got a idea for a new fic. Forbidden love between a thief and a Hero! One from riches and the other from rags. On different sides of the law but fall in love after chance encounters!
Y/N: What are you on about?
Marvel: Nothing! Patrol is over anyway so we can just head back.
You looked out over the city and sighed.
Y/N: Fine. You wanna fly back?
Instead of an answer, you found Marvel jumping on your back. You just rolled your eyes with a smile before blasting off. On a nearby rooftop, Black Cat watched you fly away.
Black Cat: Interesting.

You and Miles went out for coffee the next morning. You told him about the patrol and your run in with Black Cat.
Miles: Aw man. She's definitely a problem. She was Peter's enemy for a while before she moved across the bridge.
You sighed. So there's a new bad guy to worry about. You both entered the coffee shop and waited in line until you both got to the front of the line.
Miles: Vanilla latte.
Y/N: Coffee.
You both moved to a nearby table where you both waited for your drinks.
Miles: So, she was hitting on you?
Y/N: I guess? Never really had anyone flirt with me before.
Miles: She used to go after Peter back when she was still in Queens. She's only a year older than us so you know Peter wasn't ok with it. Plus he was kinda married to MJ already.
You winced at the thought of a teenager hitting on Spider-Man. Maybe it was like Marvel and her boy bands? Your order was called and you told Miles that you were going to get it. You reached the counter and picked up your drinks. You turned to return to your table. Your sense tingled and you quickly backed up to avoid hitting someone.
Said person was a girl who was a bit shorter than you. A girl with blonde hair who suddenly realized you were there.
Girl: Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention.
You just smiled.
Y/N: It's ok.
The girl looked at you for a moment.
Girl: Have we met somewhere before?
You shook your head. She didn't look familiar.
Y/N: I just moved here. I'm kinda new.
The girl had a realization and smiled. She then held her hands behind her back.
Girl: Well then, in that case welcome to town. I'm Felicia Hardy. Nice to meet you.
You smiled back.
Y/N: I'm Y/N L/N. Glad to be here.
