She needed someone who knew how to love her demons
He needed someone that could understand his darkness
She needed someone that could hold the broken little girl she hid inside of her
He needed someone that could adore the innocent child inside of him
She needed someone to show her that she was perfect as she was
He needed someone to show him that he was more than enough
Her mind was covered in scars
His heart was covered in barbwire
Her body was broken and falling apart
His soul was shattering and slipping away
They're spirits were both crushed and afraid
Self-isolating and retreating into the dark abyss of unconscious realities
She needed to hear "you are loved"
He needed to hear "I love you"
They both needed to experience the connection with a real soul- endlessly searching amidst the fog in the black hole of life

That he found astonishing beauty in
He was a rusting antique
That she found to be a great treasure
They needed each other
