Jay was alarmed at the attack last night. He's certain that whoever those guys are, this involves him being in Mt. Carmen. Sungjun drove Lia to school first to make sure she's safe. After last night he didn't want his only child to get hurt.

Even Jay was concerned. He didn't want to endanger anyone. He even walked Lia towards the entrance just to make sure she went in safely. It's an all-girls-school so Jay expected them to be a little excited to see a guy, but Lia's friends were over the top.

"Who's this?" Yena asked Lia? Flipping her silky hair to show it off though he didn't know why she's doing it herself.

Another of Lia's friends named Wonyoung came and waved at Jay. Others behind them are already taking pictures as if he's a KPop idol. Of course Jay's confident that he's handsome and attractive, but he doesn't need this right now. A lot has happened to him even before he went to Mt. Carmen.

"This is my fiancé, now back off." Lia said, pulling Jay to the side, holding his hands while dragging him. "You can go now before they devour you." Lia said but is still holding Jay's hand tightly. She also doesn't look happy at all.

"Fiancé?" Yena repeated intrigued because Lia does talk about one person a lot. His name is Jay Park and she always mentions how much he missed him so much and that he's her superhero.

That must be him.

Wonyoung and Yena shared a funny look that just says that they're up to no good.

They both moved closer and tried to read Jay's nameplate. "Park Jay! That's him." They simultaneously said out loud making both Lia and Jay look at them with a questioning look.

"This is why I don't introduce you to them. They get a little overwhelmed. Not that Yena doesn't see such a stunning man, I mean her brother is really gorgeous, and Wonyoung has a lot of suitors, but since you're here with me, you're a big deal to them because I don't talk about boys much." Lia started rambling, which was so cute. Jay can remember back when they were kids and she still has full cheeks and has two missing front tooth.

She used to ramble a lot that Uee would cover her mouth to signal her to stop.

Jay missed being a child now that he's facing many problems that he never faced as a child. Before, the only problem he has was how to protect Lia from anything or everything that can hurt her.

Now she has friends. Maybe they can help her with feminine things, unlike him, he's a guy. There was a lot of things he couldn't help Lia with growing up.

"Liar! There's one guy you couldn't stop mentioning." Yena interrupted, catching Jay and Lia's attention.

"I miss Jay." Yena tried to imitate Lia's soft and high voice.

"I think I'm going to die if I dont see Jay now, but I can't go see him." Wonyoung did the same as Yena and imitated Lia's voice and the things she often say when mentioning Jay.

"I wish Jay would stay in our house. I miss knocking the door across mine and see him still sleeping and just sit there watching him sleep." Yena spoke again which made Lia excuse herself to Jay for a second.

She covered their mouth before they could speak again.

"Have you guys lost your mind?" She asked, eyeing them. Her slit eyes even widened for a second.

"Jay?"

They  turned towards the person who spoke and were shocked because it's Lia's number 1 rival in here, Hwang Yeji.

"How did you know where I go to school?" She went to Jay angrily. "I'm going to tell you once and once only. Don't follow me around and stop talking to me as long as you can't remember me." She ranged which made Lia angry.

How dare she talk to Jay like that?

She pushed her harshly that she stumbled on the pavement. "He's here because of me, not you." She told Lia who had her elbows scratched.

Jay helped her up and even apologized. "Sorry."

"And why would he be here for you?" Yeji glared at Lia in fury.

"Because I grew up with him." Lia said proudly.

Yeji only smirked at her arrogance. "I'm his childhood friend." She bragged as well.

Jay pulled a blue handkerchief from his pocket, tying it on Yeji's elbow as she exchanged word with Lia.

"Well it ended as childhood friends, ain't it? He moved with me and my family you fucking presumptuous little bitch. We're basically a family." Lia bragged more, annoyed that Yeji's, her worst enemy and rival is Jay's childhood friend.

They knew each other first.

"Family?" Yeji chuckled despite her hurting elbow. "Cool, like a brother and sister and will never be more than that. Works for me. That means I can date him while you're the annoying little sister." She said and was surprised that his elbow is tied now.

"No!" Lia disagreed. "Family as in close to married. My parents already approved him to be my partner in life. Plus, our families are close friends." She said and ended their small debate.

How can Yeji top that?

"What are you girls even saying? You rejected me everytime I ask to be so much more than a brother" Jay told Lia. "You asked me earlier to not talk to you unless I remember you." She told Yeji.

"I'm out of here." Jay said. Then kissed Lia's forehead. "See you later Iya." She said the. Pointed to where Yeji's wound is. "Wash that. The cloth can only stop the bleeding but not disinfect." He said then left them there just staring at him.

Lia couldn't help but laugh. "He doesn't remember you?" She giggles.

"You rejected him already. He will never pursue you ever again." Yeji muttered.

"We'll see." Lia finished before grabbing Wonyoung and Yena's hand.

With just that, they parted ways and proceeds ignoring each other.

Jay on the other hand went to Sungjun's car and also drove him to his school.

On the way, Sungjun was uneasy. He's not usually like this around Jay because he's like his own son anyway. He trusted him with so many responsibilities and forced him to grow up and mature at a young age, to protect Lia.

He relied on this kid a lot.

Jaeho's there limping. That's right, he was absent as well.

"Nice shoes." Jay pretends to like his shoes and then helped him with his bag, since he's holding a lot of paper bags already. Do they have projects that he doesn't know of?

Did the teachers gave him special projects because he didn't attend class yesterday?

Jaeho smiled and was thankful of him. "Wanna buy it, I'll give you a classmate discount." He offered.

He's funny.

He always jokes about selling something. Just like in Johnny's class when he said he's going to sell his the elder wand if he has it in his possession.

"Jaeho! Jaeho!" Their classmate, Claire approached. "Do you have it?" She asked.

Jay watched as she gave Jaeho a huge amount of money. He wondered what might this transaction be. Is Jaeho dealing drugs or something?

"Of course I got it, your highness." Jaeho said and opened his bag, grabbing some signed albums of BTS and limited edition signed photo cards. Claire was about to take it, but Jaeho raised it to where she can't reach them. Claire frowned at him in annoyance, trying to reach for them, but Jaeho's not planning to give the items to her just yet. "Count the money first." He ordered her.

Claire had no choice but to count the money in front of him.

"No tip? Do you know how much effort I had to put through just to get these?" He asked Claire, but she placed the money on Jaeho's pocket, stretching out her palm where Jaeho can put the items she bought from him. "Tip? Your sister gave you a backstage pass and a VVIP ticket! Honestly, there's nothing hard in your life. You always get what you want and sometimes, you don't even need them. You never have to work hard, yet you always have it." She she even rolled her eyes as she spoke in irritation.

She's obviously jealous of what Jaeho has.

"I accept free meal or a kiss on the cheeks as a tip." He suggested, irritating Claire who's already done with him and his bullshit.

Jay was just there watching Jaeho flirt with this cold girl who only wanted her BTS merch.

"How about I give you a discount if you go out with me after class?" Jaeho asked, wiggling his brows with a cheeky smile.

"Give it!" Claire demanded.

Jaeho closed his lips on a thin line, giving Claire her new BTS album and limited edition photo card and just gave up. "Yes, Ma'am." He said and watched her as she walked away with the items.

"Girls these days." Jaeho whispered to himself.

"Jaeho! The where's my BT21?" Another girl came to him.

Jay just stood there and watched Jaeho transact with every ARMY in this school. The transactions were smooth except for Claire earlier. Does he really want to go out with her? He just couldn't help but wonder.

"This is the same price as Claire's signed Album and limited edition photo card! This is unfair!" One complained.

"That's the real price. I even gave you 10% discount because I got two free ones because I ordered a bulk." Jaeho explained.

"But Claire's items are better than mine! You should give me more discount!" The girl demanded.

"You already have yours. 10% I told you." Jaeho said even showing the girl how much the albums are on the official shops.

"But Claire..."

"I like Claire. I gave him big discount so she'd always buy from me and talk to me even if it's just BTS related. Can't I have that freedom?" Jaeho asked the girl. She gave her money and took her album upset that she only got small discount.

After Jaeho got rid of all the merch and the girls, he and Jay can finally get to class.

"You're a businessman. If I start my own business we can be business partners." Jay told him.

Jaeho smiled. "I'd like that." He said as they entered the classroom.

Sunghoon's already checking the attendance. He smiled when he saw Jay, but his smile slowly faded upon seeing Jaeho with him. He wanted to protect his brother from this one. He's a part of the secret society as well, but the dangerous kind.

Jaeho, Kyungmin, Jaebom, Hanbin, Nicholas, Kei, Heeseung and Minsung. They race underground.

It's a part of secret society even before the unsafe building. The old bowling building where there's an underground passage behind the bowling pins, where they slide down into a club.

The teachers were involved as well. Hansol is a racer before too.

The racing used to occurre every friday night. They race on the busy highway chased by cops. First on the finish line wins. But only the secret society gets to know the route of the race, and they change it every Friday.

Jaeho has been caught a few times before.

Sunghoon joined once and had to hide on the tall grass with his borrowed motorcycle from Jake. It was fun. The adrenalin rush while being chased by the cops feels good. The sound of the air whistling on the helmet makes you feel like nature is whispering to your ears. It feels like you're actually alive.

The feeling of being chased by cops gives you the feeling that you actually exist. That you matter even for a night.

It's a feeling that Sunghoon doesn't feel often.

Jaeho gave Sunghoon a nod, then proceeds to his seat, taking his bag from Jay so he can finally go to his seat as well.

"So," Jay started. "You need money or something? Why sell a lot of BTS merchandise?" He asked his classmate.

Jaeho tilted his head wondering if Jay's question is for real. "You're not that close with Jisol after all, aren't you?" He smirks at Jay without answering his question. "You can ask your twin if it really matters to you." He told Jay when he was waiting for an answer.

Who's Jisol?

What is wrong with this school and this town? There's a lot of secrets. It's so different from where Jay grew up in Seattle.

"Only Yves is absent?" Sunghoon announced, before standing up from the teacher's table.

Yves?

She's scared to go to school now. Jay felt guilty. Maybe he shouldn't have asked her to team up with him to expose Yoon Jaehan. Their efforts didn't even pay off.

"Hey!" Heejin went to Jay. "Yves is going to transfer. She won't tell me what happened. You two were close lately. Do you know?" She asked, averting her gaze from Jay to EJ who's trying his best to ignore him after the mobile phone incident.

"If Yves doesn't want to tell you, I can't tell you either." Jay simply said, making Heejin just give up and leave Jay.

EJ glanced at Jay and noticed that something's bothering him.

"If I were you, I'd stay away from his kind." EJ told Jay, gesturing at Jaeho.

"Why?" Jay glanced at Jaeho who passed on a watch towards Wonjun, then passed him a bundle of cash. He really is business minded.

"Did you just ask why? He's fucking trouble, that is. He's involved with Song Jongki. Don't even get me started with him." EJ warned before he brought his notes as Johnny entered the classroom.

Jay didn't ask much and just listened to Johnny as he discussed an important matter.

"If you kids are lost right now, just know that it's ok to do things that out of the  ask long as you it doesn't harm you. Trust me, I've been there." He muttered, looking directly at Jay.

"What is this all about? Just go straight to the point." Some of the students demanded.

Johnny averted his gaze on the floor, then just proceeds towards the white board to write an activity about Harry Potter again.

He wanted them to do a debate about Harry Potter and The Cursed Child.

"A debate? Not an essay." EJ groaned, as he put away his paper and pen.

"I want two groups. One is to defend Harry's actions when he said he sometimes wish that Albus isn't his son, and one group to defend Albus when he said he wasn't Harry's son. Count one and two to divide the class." Johnny instructed.

EJ and Jay glanced at each other, then Jay exchanged seats with his other seatmate – Sol, so he'd be at he same group as EJ.

They're both at group two together with Jaeho, Yoonwon, Sunghoon, Sungchul, Youngbin, Heejin, and a bunch of other classmates. Sunghoon's taking the lead to gather his groupmates' ideas.

"We have to defend Albus' statement. Any ideas?" He asked as he stood at the center of a circle of his seated groupmates, staring at him in wonder.

He already figured out how clueless they are based on their expressions, so he grabbed the book and showed it to them. "Have you red it?" He asked, but they all shook their heads.

"It has bad reviews. The Harry Potter series is better off without it." Yoonwon muttered. "And for Harry to say those words? Unbelievable! I'd rather not read it, thanks." He said though he's obviously red a part of it to be this disappointed.

"That's a start. You don't agree with Harry saying that to his child, that's the team that we are up against." Sunghoon told him, then turned to the person he trusts the most when it comes to this. Someone who reads a lot since they were young and has probably red all of the Harry Potter Series by now.

Jay knew what Sunghoon's stare mean. They might not be real twins, but all those years believing they are, made them seem like real brothers or even real twins.

Seeing how Sunghoon's struggling, Jay got up and stood beside him. "Ever had a legendary father, mother, brother, sister?" He asked them but they all shook their heads.

"Ever heard, 'you're different from your father?', 'why can't you be like your brother?', 'You're not as responsible as your sister?'." He asked them.

Sungchul raised his hand. "I have an idea now." He said but he didn't look happy about it. "I have a friend who's father is well known, and I think can sympathize with him." Told them, but Jaeho doesn't look convinced. He smirked then turned to face Sungchul.

"A friend." Jaeho repeated, but slower and in an annoying manner while nodding.

"Well, based on my friend's story..." Sungchul tried to continue, but Jaeho was still nodding at him, acting interested at whatever it is that he is saying. He was discouraging and very much distracting.

"We he said it gave him a lot of pressure to do well but nothing he ever did with efforts satisfied anyone, so just like Albus, he just preferred to blend in the background so he won't get compared." He finished, pressing his palm on Jaeho's face. To cover it and push it away. He's getting more and more annoyed at him by the second.

Jaeho sat back and clapped his hands. "Your friend must be having a really hard time then." He said on a sad face this time. "When you see him, tell him to hold it in. He must be good at that." He said which was unnecessary. It's like he's trying to pick up a fight.

"At least I'm not trying to die." Sungchul told responded in annoyance.

They all gasped, and glanced at Jaeho who they're expecting to actually start a fight, but he only clapped his hands. "So it's not a friend. It's you." He only stated the obvious but why is Sungchul more annoyed than before.

Of course half of the classroom also knew that Jaeho is one of the the people who jumped at the bridge claiming to be Lee Minsung. Half of the campus might know this. It is why nobody reported Jay for the nameplate, because those who didn't know just simply don't care, and those who knew must keep it a secret.

Because reporting these boys would mean they're involved with Minsung.

As much as the secret society always give him a moment of silence, in the real world, he's just some other delinquent kid that made lots and lots of bad records, and bad impression.

Being involved with him only means that they did all those stuff with him.

"Just stop the act." Sungchul told him. "You love hearing this from me because you're no better. We have the same family background, at least I try so hard to blend in with the background but you, you ruined your life." He told him but he doesn't look mad now. Jaeho didn't look mad as well.

If Sungchul's father is a prosecutor, Jaeho's father is a personal investigator, but personally for wealthy family that are willing to pay a lot of cash just to protect themselves. Not everyone knows that. All they knows is that Jaeho's rich and and his father is the breadwinner of the family.

Just like Sungchul, he tried so hard to olease people, but nothing pays off. You get compared and you never deliver. At least in other people's eyes. They were nothing but utter failure to everyone's eyes. To get rid of the expectations and this suffocating feeling, Jaeho has decided to do all sorts of dangerous and absurd things he can possibly think of, just to make sure he'd make his own mark as the opposite of his father and make those who compare him with his father to be stupid and finally break free from his father's achievements.

Everybody went silent as soon as Sungchul stopped talking. They're now uncomfortable.

"There you go. You want to have an insight? You want someone to represent us for this debate. Noh Sungchul it is." Jaeho told Sunghoon with an empty expression. He didn't smile, smirk or clap his hand. He just looks empty.

The debate started and Sungchul agreed to represent the group, while Son Olivia, another from top 10 students of this school represent the other, defending Harry's statement about his son.

"First of all, you can't blame a parent if they get disappointed with their kids." She started. "Albus wasn't delivering enough. As a child of the famous Harry Potter, you have to try hard. You have to be just like the chosen one. Even at the sorting, Albus didn't try hard enough that there's a Potter in the Slytherin House for Christ's sake." She said as her groupmates agree with her.

Sungchul waited for them to settle down, reading the notes that Jay and Sunghoon for him to write. They tried to solve this systematically as if it's a hypothesis. Well it's not. They don't know what it's like.

"The Sorting Hat has been charmed by the founders. It's not dumb. Whether Albus chose to be at Slytherin ot Gryffindor house, it doesn't matter. He's still not Harry Potter, why does he have to be on the Gryffindor House?" He said without reading the possible response he can give and possible topics to debate with.

His teammates cheered for him as well. Jaeho's loud as ever again while Yoonwon's elbowing him to sit down.

"A kid approaching adolescents normally has a lot of identity crisis, and mood changes. When that happens, immature kids would sometimes say silly things like they didn't want to be their parents' child, but as an adult and a father, saying you wished your child wasn't yours can damage the child emotionally or mentally." He threw Olivia.

She bit her lips at his statement.

"Because...because there's something wrong with Albus. If James and Lily got to Gryffindor just fine and do magic and ride their brooms just fine, but Albus can't. He doesn't believe in himself because he's so caught up with his father's reputation. Instead of improving himself, he took it all out to his father." She responded.

Jaeho gave her a thumbs down and a 'boo'.

"Parents knows what's best for his or her child. It's not Harry's fault that Albus didn't follow his example. If James and Lily can do it, why can't he?" She challenged.

"He's not James and Lily, he's Albus. It's not the same with everybody even if they're siblings, they can't all be same kid. Of course there'd be difference. Magic is not something you can just learn, and riding a broom is not that easy, according to the book. You can't force to be something else, or do something you can't do." Sungchul defended.

"Yes! Like Sunghoon and Jay. They're nothing alike. Sunghoon's the Ice Prince, while Jay's just Jay." A classmate compared which was offensive to Jay even though he now has the knowledge that they're not really twins.

"Yes. They're a good example for that." Sungchul confirmed.

"What kind of parent, would ever force his child to have the same hobbies and interests as him?" Sungchul asked Olivia.

Jaeho raised a BTS concert ticket, then started cheering loudly for Sungchul, making the classroom cheer with him. The girls assumed he'd give it away if they cheered with him.

"Nobody's forcing him. It was just him who's disappointed that he couldn't do his father's abilities." She tried to defend but the classroom was already cheering for Jaeho.

She frowned trying to scream his response but the whole classroom's already roaring. Johnny gave Olivia a sympathetic look, then proceeds to try to make the class settle down.

Group two won the debate just by Jaeho's cheering. He grabbed Sungchul and Sunghoon. "Treat me lunch. I'm the only reason we won." He said since the two are extremely rich. But why though? He just sold a lot of stuff this morning and earned more than enough for a meal. Why does he need someone to treat him food?

At lunch, Jay proceeds to Hansol's office where Jungwon and Minhee's currently resting. Hansol's there as well, passing Jay a basketball because he really wanted to play but Jungwon and Minhee won't budge.

Jay almost didn't catch it and almost hit his face. He was startled for a second, recalling a similar event.

...

(Flashback)

Little Jay's reading a book on top of the jungle gym again today, which the other kids find weird. Why read at a playground where you have a lot of playmates to play with?

He's been doing it for days. The other kids can't even play at the jungle gym anymore. They also lower their voice because they might disturb him while he's reading.

Jungwon scratched his head, staring at his friend who doesn't seem to know how playground works.
He thought it would be fun to have a least one more teammate. He grabbed the basketball from Minhee, "Hey! Catch!" He yelled at Jay, throwing him the ball without further notice.

Jay dropped his book and caught the ball, almost falling down.

He climbed down to return the ball, but Jungwon grabbed his wrist and dragged him towards the basketball court. "Let's play." He told him and became friends with Jay since that day.

Since then, Jay played a lot of ball games everyday until Jay finally introduced Jungwon to his parents. Jae was suspicious at first because who would be friends with Jay? He's introvert.

Jungwon noticed a lot of framed certificates and trophies in Jay's room all stacked up at the side of his closet and his desk. "What are these?" He asked, pulling one.

"Oh, those? I'm going to throw them away." Jay told him while Jay grabbed a few toy cars that his father gave him, handing Jungwon one of them.

"Wait, these are your spelling bee trophies and science exhibit certificates." Jungwon pulled one. "You like doing these things, why are you throwing them away?" He asked Jay who's trying to snap the car door from his toy car.

He's behaving differently from the responsible and matured Jay that Jungwon knew.

"Jay!" He took the toy from him. His toys are high quality that he was having a hard time breaking them. "What are you even doing? That's not how you play." Jungwon frowned, showing him how to play a toy car.

Jay just stared at him and find no sense in playing at all.

"By the way, what about your twin, where is he? Let's play with him." Jungwon suggests, looking up with a bright smile at Jay. Jay's already fun to play with, but another Jay would be better. Like there's two of them. Though Sunghoon's not really the cheerful kind. He almost never smiles and talk to anyone.

Jay sat on his bed and inhaled deeply. "He's studying." He said on a sad expression. Jungwon got up frowning at how weird this household is. It's summer vacation before school and the kids in this household is studying.

One's locked up studying and another one reads books at the playground. No wonder they don't smile much. Jungwon won't be happy here if he lived here.

"How about we go back to the playground?" Jungwon suggests. Jay agreed. The two of them got out of Jay's room and saw Sunghoon  taking a breather at the kitchen, drinking a glass of water.

Jay ran towards him and hugged him from behind, making him accidentally spill his grass of water on himself. Good thing it's just water, because he's wearing a white shirt today.

"Jaaaayyyy!" Their mother yelped when he saw the mess that the kids made. "Why would you do that!? Can't you be more careful with Sunghoon? He needs to go back to study after 2 minutes. Now he has to change clothes because of you." She scolds.

"Oh sorry mommy." Jay apologized. Hugging Sunghoon again. "Need more time out of father's study? Should I do more? Do you feel suffocated?" He asks.

"Nahh! It's ok. Changing clothes is a long time away from the books already. Thanks." Sunghoon whispered.

"Come here Sunghoon. Let's change your clothes." Sungyeon took Sunghoon to his room, leaving Jungwon and Jay at the kitchen.

Jay took Jungwon's hand and took him to the playground since he's done causing trouble anyway.

Their playmate – Yeji, was already waving at them. "Let's play word!" Yeji threw a toy sword at Jungwon and Jay.

Jungwon went behind Yeji, taking her sword, the holding his sword on her neck dramatically. "Drop your weapon or I'll kill her." He told Jay who dropped hos sword and raised his hands.

"I won!" Jungwon celebrated, pretending to slash Yeji's neck, then pretends to stab Jay.

The two fell on the ground giggling. "He's brutal." Jay said as he chuckled.

"You shouldn't have dropped your sword, stupid. We died because of your actions." Yeji told Jay.

"It's not real, why are you so serious?" He asked Yeji, sitting up in the process. Yeji still don't look like she got over it. "In the books, the prince saves the princess." She whines at Jay who's not yet red any if the story books she's red and Disney movies she's watched.

Jay did read a few novels that his mother leaves lying around, curious of what's making his mother cry. So far he's read 'A Walk To Remember' and 'The Last Song' and there's defined no prince or princess. What's there is a dying girl and troublemaker guy. The other one is a dying father and a troublemaker daughter.

"Don't get so worked up. Dying is better than living anyways. When you die, pain stops. Everything stops. If I saved you, what assurance do we have that that's the end of danger? We died, say 'thanks' because I just saved you the trouble of living." Jungwon told Yeji.

Jay noticed something while looking at Jungwon's expression. His eyes sparkle everytime he sees this girl. It's so cute how his face lighten up when Yeji's present.

"You didn't save me! What kind of reasoning is that?" Yeji sat up and moved away from Jungwon to Jay, clinging in his arms. "Even if the pain stops and you cause me pain at the last moment of my life. I'd rather feel pain once in a while as ling as I can still feel joy, happiness and excitement in exchange." She said making Jungwon drop his sword.

"You're both clever." Jay told them. "The other one doesn't want to feel anything, and the other one wants to feel everything. You're 360 degrees opposite, that could work." Jay nods in approval. These two could fill up the empty spaces. Puzzle pieces don't fit together if they look the same anyway.

"Don't you feel overwhelmed? We feel a lot, and sometimes it gets in the way." Jungwon told Yeji.

"That's a part of life. Duh!" Yeji responded with an eye roll.

"Then I don't want to live." Jungwon annoyingly responded.

"Wonnie! Don't fight with such a pretty girl. She's our princess. We should protect her." Jay told Jungwon so he won't raise his voice on Yeji, but Yeji got the wrong idea. Jay saying that she's pretty made her feel special to him. Why else would he say that if he's not?

(End of Flashback)

...

Jay stood there dumbfounded. Even Hansol was concerned now. Jay glanced at Jungwon right away. "You like Yeji?" He asked, making Minhee chuckle and hit Jungwon's shoulders.

"See? I told you it was obvious." Minhee said then chuckled. Jungwon blushed in embarrassment. He didn't know Jay knew this. He doesn't even hang out with Yeji anymore.  After Jay moved away, Yeji stopped hanging out with him. They would meet by accident sometimes but it was never the same as before.

Jungwon yanked Jay outside. "Not in front of Jisol." He told Jay as he fan his face, hot from embarrassment.

"Jisol?" Jay asked, hearing that name again.

"Jisol. Ji Hansol. Jisol for short." Jungwon explains.

Jay recalled what Jaeho was saying earlier. Hansol must know what's up with Jaeho.

"How'd you know I like Yeji?" Jungwon asked Jay.

All of a sudden, Jay realized that Jungwon liking Yeji isn't much of an issue here but the fact that Jay entrusted Yeji and Jungwon with the box and the key. Whatever it is that's in that box, it must be so important for him to give it to his childhood best friends.

"We need that key from Yeji. I might remember everything once I see it's contents." Jay told Jungwon eagerly. Whatever that's in that box, he needs it today desperately.

"We just have to ask her for it again, I guess. I'll get the box as well." Jungwon told Jay.

By the end of the day, Jay went to Bambam's restaurant, where Yeji's currently waiting tables. As soon as he gave Hyunjin the paper where the orders are written, Jay cornered her.

"Yeji! I can already remember a little." He desperately approached her, which gave the customers entertainment.

"What did you tell Jungwon the day before you left?" She asked just to make sure.

Jay frowned at her question. His head is aching trying to remember. It was throbbing hard and his face felt hot. He's really trying his best to remember but he couldn't. Like his memories are locked up somewhere.

"I only remember that we used to play at the playground. I remember a specific memory where we were playing swords where Jungwon killed us both and you complained about me dropping the sword." As soon as Jay finished, Yeji's face softened.

"Not good enough! I want you to remember what you told Jungwon before you left." Yeji told him, then grabbed the food, placing it on a tray, serving the customers.

Jay accidentally saw a man in suit, eating ice cream outside, leaning on a wall of this other restaurant across the street. He's wearing shades, that he couldn't determine if he's looking directly at him. Though it was very scary. Why would an office man doing outside eating ice cream at a place like this?

Not far from him was another one, eating cotton candy.

They seem to be focusing on him.

He looked around and no one seems to have noticed. Where's Bambam even, Mark Tuan, Jinyoung as well?

If they're here they would surely notice these men.

"Jay! I've got it." Jungwon raised the box. He saw the two men dart their heads at the box. Because of that, Jay took it from Jungwon. Took Yeji to the stock room by force, covering her mouth so Hyunjin won't hear and get involved.

Jay took the key by force, making her whimper. Jungwon held her back, cornering her, his hands on the wall on Yeji's sides so she won't get away from him.

They couldn't look at each other's eyes. It's been a while since they were friends as kids. It has now gotten awkward.

Jay opened the box and saw a bunch of news clippings of a homicide and suicide of the perpetrator. Then a bunch about the car accident of Park Euijin and Park Jisook.

His heart stopped upon seeing the newspaper clipping of his real parents smiling.  Then right next to it was a wrecked car that has exploded.

His heart now started beating faster.

He dug into it and saw an article about him and Sunghoon when they were announced as twins. His heart dropped.

He just realized that when he has this in his possession, he already knew that they're not twins. How did he forget about all of these?

"You don't have to do this. The box is open already." Yeji told Jungwon in defeat, slowly looking for his eyes, but he's looking at the wall, avoiding Yeji's.

Jay turned around to face his friends. "At ten years old, I'm chasing for the person who killed my parents?" He doesn't look pleased. He finally recalled everything. He can now confidently recall his childhood.

"He's unnamed. He's known for his crimes because they're all similar. He shoots all of his victims at a certaina angle. In between the frontal lobes where he'd hit the medulla oblongata, pons and foramen magnum." Jay told them.

Yeji and Jungwon faced him in wonder. It just explains why at a young age, Jay has a lot in his mind. This was what he was doing when he miss their okay time.

"There are also three involved arsons, but they couldn't decided if it's really him. The last arson was him killing himself, but the police got them before he burned to death. He had 3rd degree burns on the chest, shoulders and face. He's taken to a mental institute." He said as chills climbed his spine.

"But it's not him who's there. He didn't burn himself. Someone poured gasoline on his and burned him. Why would someone burn himself out in the open?" He spoke to himself while his friends look at him in confusion.

"He really is out there." Jay said as he dug into more papers. He grabbed everything, placed it in between pages of his book. "I desperately need to see someone." He said leaving the two there, just awkward and confused.

"He's still not himself." Yeji muttered.

"He's exactly as he is. He's Jay and that's how he is. Was it still worth it? Waiting for someone who's priorities doesn't involve you?" Jungwon asked, but didn't wait for Yeji's answer, leaving her alone on the stock room.

...

Jay went out, looking for Yoongi. It was easy to spot him. He kept his promise to watch over him. The two of them went to an alley. "Hyung! That's not Lee Joon in St. Ester isn't it?" Jay asked Yoongi.

He couldn't respond to him right away. He didn't know what to say to the child.

"His kills were all headshot, but he killed my father through removing the breaks. Why? Why didn't he want to take credit to this kill?" Jay demanded.

Yoongi wanted to just shut the kid up. He couldn't explain this either. And even if he tries to, there is no assurance that the kid would understand. He stared at the kid's eyes and saw sadness about his parent's death for once.

The kid needs closure.

"This is a murder that Lee Joon's isn't proud of. He never wanted to kill your father, but that night, he was send a picture of his girlfriend and child. It means dangerous men like him can get in and out his girlfriend's house. They can easily kill his family. He has to make a choice. Euijin or the only family he has. Me and Lee Joon, we're orphans. We have longed for a family, a home. He can finally have a family of his own. Something everybody around as has, that we never had." Yoongi paused, because up until now, all he has is his friends. That's the only family he has.

"Your father is a very goal oriented man. He knew what he wanted and he knew how to get it. Lee Joon saw that and was hurt. Park Euijin befriended him because he knew that his anger might be useful someday." Yoongi admitted.

"Lee Joon's a psycho. That's for sure, but Euijin's something far worse than that." Yoongi muttered, making Jay shed tears.

"Why are you taking Lee Joon's side? He killed my father! He's a fucking selfish lowlife hitman! Whatever danger his family got into, he deserved it!" Jay screamed at Yoongi.

It was a relief to Yoongi. Finally, the kid is acting like one. Finally, he now has normal feelings.

"I'm so sorry kid, but the truth is, even when we were still in highschool, your father made Lee Joon do despicable things, just because Lee Joon saw him as his only family. The only person who understands and would take his side. When Lee Joon had to pick one, it's been so hard for him to do so. But he had to think about his kid. You'd understand once you grow older." Yoongi told Jay who's tears are still falling.

"I don't want to grow up, if I'll be just like all of you, keeping secrets and defending murder suspects. I fucking hate this town. I fucking hate everybody." He said and ran away from Yoongi.

He didn't know what to do and where to go. What he's fighting for is done a long time ago. There is nothing he can possibly do. Nothing at all.

Turning from alley to alley, just walking around town like he normally does at night until he found Niki, who just entered the first building where they both went to when they first officially introduced themselves. Is something bothering him again?

There must be something, because it's obvious that he's going to the rooftop. Jay followed him and saw him unlock the security alarm. He also brought a paper fastener pressing it at the side of the door, to make sure the knob won't hook and lock him in like the last time.

He's clever.

Evil, but clever.

Jay slowly followed him at the rooftop. Jay hid at the shadows while Niki started dancing. He must've missed it so much. Jay sat there trying to calm himself over the news.

Also, he can now remember everything.

The woman who keeps on seeing him. It's someone who's looking for Lee Joon. Her name is Lee Kaeun. She's desperately looking for Lee Joon, and she also said that he might be back for Jay to finish what he started.

Niki sat down to take a break and almost fell on the ground when he saw Jay staring at him. "What the! You scared me!" He laughed and sat in front of Jay. He stopped laughing when he realized that Jay had cried and didn't smile back.

The Jay who cheered him up the last time is now a different Jay. He's not as cheerful as before. He's also not the Jay that followed him here to make sure he wouldn't do anything stupid.

He's not Batman or Spiderman tonight.

"Look at you, helping everybody pick up their broken pieces. You finally show that you're just as broken. You almost fooled me." Niki told him. "How can I trust you that everything's going to be alright, if you're also faking a smile?" He asked, catching Jay's attention.

"I don't want to die." Jay spoke. "There's this voice inside my head that keeps telling me to just die and finally rest in peace, but I try to fight it. The more I deny I hear it, the more I ignore it, the more I get out of bed and walk around astray, the more I feel better. I fake a smile, because I'm such a good liar that even I believe myself." He chuckled all of a sudden at how ridiculous he sounded.

"Get up!" Niki offered him a hand. "I know a place where we can go. It's a lot better than the unsafe building, but more dangerous." He told him as he pulled Jay up.

Niki texted Nicholas and Hanbin to pick them up. Because Jay was expecting them to be walking, he was shocked to see them in motorcycles. Hanbin looked different from how he looks in uniform and his normal clothes. Tonight he looks like an actor.

The ripped jeans and the fancy jacket made him look far from the nice guy that he always looked like.

Niki grabbed a helmet and hopped on Nicholas' motorcycle while Jay on Hanbin's. "Hold tight." Hanbin told him and drove fast as if he's being chased. Jay's heart raced as soon as he saw the city lights as they rode almost beyond the speed limit. It felt dangerous, but at the same time, it felt good.

They stopped at the middle of a forest and walked down and deeper into the forest until there's brick trails downwards.

It was a bit slippery, but they just held on to each other to keep each other from slipping.

They kept walking until there's this huge building that looked like a cube. It looks like a mall or something.

"What is this place?" Jay asked them.

"Welcome to Chamber 5." Niki told him.

They went to the entrance with a really huge door. "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good." Niki muttered, and the huge door rotated open.

They entered and the loud music of the base already banged on their chest. "What is this place?" Jay yelled underneath the loud music.

"Another underground club. You didn't think the unsafe building is the only underground club there is, did you?" Niki asked him.

Jay looked around and saw Yoonwon having a dance batter with a kid that he's never seen before. Johnny's the DJ, and Jaeho's at the side drinking a neon drink. Is that liquor? Is he allowed to drink that?

"Well, we're on the line up, so look around and make yourself comfortable." Niki told Jay, pushing him towards a bunch of guys, practicing.

It's a famous dance crew around here called, E'Last, and his classmates Wonjun and Wonhyuk's a part of it.

They both nodded at him, welcoming him there. "I see you came with the monster." Wonhyuk whispered but leaned in so Jay would hear him from the loud music. "Are you close to him?" He asked.

"Who?" Jay asked.

"Niki, he's a freaking monster. He learns a new dance routine the moment he finish watching it. He can polish his movements for at least five minutes of dancing it. He's ready to perform in 10 minutes." Wonhyuk whispered to Jay.

"I heard he's also excellent in school." Wonjun joined the conversation.

Coming from a Wonjun who's also an excellent student, Jay is now starting to be more amazed by Niki.

"There they go." The whole dance floor stopped jumping and grinding to watch Niki, Nicholas and Hanbin's performance.

Everybody were hyped just by watching the start of the performance. It's Niki who started it. He's really an amazing dancer. Watching him dance alone is already cool, but with his friends, they look badass.

It's like they're there to break the stage. After the powerful performance, everybody cheered, throwing money at the bet box for this performance, there's three bet boxes, those who want to bet will be listed, where 20% of the money over all collected money will go to the dancers and 30% would go to the management. And 50% to those who are betting.

"I told you he's a monster." Wonhyuk whispered to Jay. "Next is freestyle." He muttered as the participants gathered in circle at the center.

There will be random freestyle dance battle while the jury decides who won at the dance group battle.

Wonjun and Wonhyuk pushed Jay up to help him loosen up. Besides, Jay looks like he could dance.

Hanbin pushed Niki as well. Jay was shocked to see more familiar faces to compete freestyle.

Heeseung, Taki, K, Jungwon, Jake and even Sunghoon is here. Jungwon and Sunghoon needed a breather tonight and went here, desperate to feel freedom.

Jungwon and Sunghoon's eyes widened upon seeing Jay.

"Geonu! Please start the battle!" A girl screamed from the crowd at the man holding a mic.

"Yes Hina! Just a second! I need their names first." He chuckled, then proceeds to the most unfamiliar face to him. "name?" He asked Jay.

"Park Jay." Jay muttered.

Geonu almost laughed at him when he told his real name like a school attendance. Even Sunghoon thought it was funny.

"Not your name. Your underground name, silly." Geonu told him. When Jay looked at him confused, he pointed at Sunghoon. "He's Ice prince." Then Niki. "He's Little Monster." Then gestured at Jay. "And you?" He asks.

"JJ." Jay responds.

"Cool." Geonu said and faced the sea of people, eager to see the dance battle.

"First up, we have JJ, our new comer. Feel free to battle who you want." Geonu announced, making Jay point at Niki, who was already smiling at him.

The music started and Jay started dancing, provoking Niki. It was a surreal feeling. Being able to dance in public and in an aggressive manner. He felt lost, but free.

Niki danced as soon as the music changed and started provoking Jay, but instead of doing it aggressively, he enjoyed it since he now shares this underground life with the friend who didn't stop him from going to rooftops but accompanied him and stayed up at night with him.

Jay watched Sunghoon battle Jake and for the first time he saw his twin dance something that's not contemporary or figure skating. He's usually graceful and calm as water. Tonight he saw a different side of his twin. This Sunghoon is the polar opposite of the Sunghoon that Jay knew.

While he was in the US, this is what Sunghoon has been doing with his life.

Next up was Jungwon and Kei. They two has totally wrecked the stage. Maybe one of them would be the winner.

"Big Monster!" They cheered for Kei.

"Snapback boiii!" They cheered Jungwon as well.

"Is it fun?" Niki asked Jay on a whisper.

"Fun? Are you kidding me? An amusement park is fun. A water park is fun. This is fucking awesome!" He told his friend, giving him a fist bump.

Taki started dancing and the crowd cheers.

"Baby Monster!"

"Wow! Your whole family's got to be a bunch of monsters." Jay told Niki as he watched Taki ruin the dance floor completely.

Niki just smiled because he knew it's the truth, but too humble to admit it.

In the end, it was Taki who won.

Jungwon and Sunghoon was to welcome Jay but glared at each other as soon as they made eye contact.

"Why didn't you guys tell me about this place?" Jay asked them.

"We just got back tonight, because of the issues." Sunghoon told Jay, and Jungwon nodded in agreement. At least there's one thing they'd agree on.

After that, they waited which dance crew won. It was Niki's dance crew. Jay celebrated but couldn't squeeze himself at the crowd that's congratulating them.

"So, I'll go home with Jake at Baekho hyung's house tonight, you?" Sunghoon asked Jay.

"He'll be with me at Ten's art gallery." Jungwon responded for Jay, trying to piss off Sunghoon. Now that he already knew that Sunghoon and Jay aren't twins, he has the courage to irritate Sunghoon in front of Jay now.

"I'll find my way back." Jay said, leaving the two confused. Exiting Chamber 5.

He went straight to the giant door, saying "mischief managed." Since it's obviously based on Harry Potter's Marauder's Map.

The door opened and he climbed up. On top of the hill where all the motorcycle were parked, Jay saw Heeseung starting his motorcycle. He ran towards him and blocked his way. "Hyung! I need a ride!" He told him desperately. He didn't want to go home tonight. Not with Sunghoon, not with Jungwon.

Though Jungwon did try to catch up with him, but afraid that jay might hate it if he did.

Heeseung threw him a helmet and he caught it abruptly. It was the same feeling while riding on Hanbin's motorcycle. He felt free. Heeseung drove just as fast as Hanbin.

Then jay realized that this guy right here is Lee Joon's son. The person he's protecting. The reason why Park Euijin is dead.

He felt sick to his stomach. Not because of the speed and velocity of the motorcycle, but because of that thought.

Lee Heeseung is Lee Joon's son.

Heeseung dropped off Jay at the convenient store near the school as he wished and left right away to go somewhere. He looks happy and excited but Jay couldn't dare to ask him why he's happy.

He went inside the store and saw Maria eyeing him.

"Yves transfered." She said with a frowned face instead of welcoming Jay nicely.

"I already heard, Maria." Jay said, grabbing a drink, placing it on the counter, looking away so he won't glare back at her.

She scanned Jay's drink and grabbed the money he slid on the counter. Maria didn't really want to have a conversation with Jay. She just wanted to know what happened to Yves. She looked alright before there were weird rumors that Yves and Jay are together. Then suddenly she transferred.

It just feels weird.

Jay left the store and was about to go walk around the streets again when he noticed screams from an alley.

There's two men wearing suits and girls wearing same uniforms. They were being held against their will.

Jay hid in the dark, looking for any weapon and looked around if Yoongi's still here, maybe he can help. That's when he recalled that he ran away from him a few hours ago.

"What is he hiding? What does he know?" One man in suit asked the girls.

"We don't know what you're talking about!" One screamed. It was a very familiar scream, that Jay would recognize it anywhere.

It's Lia.

"Let go of me!" She bit the shoulder of the man who's holding her hands behind her. Making him groan and put Lia on pressure hold, hurting her neck.

"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" She screamed on a loud high pitch voice.

Jay panicked. He couldn't stand Lia screaming. "Stop! Stop it!" He stepped out of the dark and yelled.

The men turned to him and smirked. "Well if it isn't Park Jay." They spoke. They know his name. How?

These are the men outside Bambam's restaurant. The men in suit. So they are following him.

"Jay!" Yeji quealed on an almost pleading voice.

"Yeji!" His heart started pumping faster, knowing that they have both Yeji and Lia.

"Let them go." Jay demanded. "Who are you? Why are you following me?" He asked.

The men chuckled at him as if he's being funny. "You know the answer to that." They responded.

"Are you with Lee Joon? Did he ask you to kill me? Let them go then! They have nothing to do with anything." He said stepping forward, but they stepped backwards along with the girls, yanking them.

The two of them are now crying. Lia keeps muttering Jay's name, while Yeji keeps mouthing 'help'.

The two men laughed at each other. "Lee Joon? He's not higher than us, why would he order us around? What we need is the reason why your name is at St. Ester's visitors? Why did you visit Lee Joon? Are you helping him escape? Are you giving him information outside?" They asked.

Jay now realized that not all realized that whoever's at St. Ester is not Lee Joon. Some still believe that he's locked up.

"I was just trying to make sure he's there." Jay lied. "Now release them." He demanded.

The men looked at each other, then back to Jay. They didn't look convinced. "Fine, pick one." They told him.

The girls sobs were louder now.

Jay couldn't say anything. He was silent. He felt outnumbered and helpless. It's a feeling that he hates the most. Being useless.

"None? Say goodbye to this pretty one then." The man on the left said as he grabbed Lia's neck, harshly.

"Jay!" She screamed.

Jay saw a mop handle at the trash bin, grabbing it to hit the man's shoulder, but he threw Lia on the rough pavement, grabbing the mop handle so he won't get hit by it.

The other man grabbed Lia as well, forcing her up despite her scratched knees.

"It's gonna scar!" Lia cried. Jay can't stand Lia's cries.

He let go of the mop and went under to punch the man on the abdomen, exactly where the diaphragm is, interfering with his breathing. He clutched his stomach as Jay grabbed the gun on the side of his pants, pointing at his head. "Release them and I'll fucking out a bullet home in his head." He warned the other man.

Instead of releasing the girls, he just laughed like a maniac. "You little punk! You really are clueless aren't you?" He said in between laughs. "We already have bullets in our heads if we don't take you to him." He explained on a laughing manner.

"Who?" Jay demanded, kicking the man on the ground on the abdomen so he won't recover from pain yet.

"You're not at the position to demand answers here, kid! We need to know if Lee Joon's really locked up or not? What do you know about him?" The man now asked seriously.

"Now pick one! Dont test my patience!" The man growled at him, making the girls cry louder.s

"Why do you need that information from a kid like me? Why do you need hostages? Can't you figure that out by yourself? Don't your boss have a private investigator or something?" Jay checked the magazine of the gun. Sunoo has taught him a lot about guns back at Hitman Bang.

"Everything matches. The finger prints, and the police records. Plus, Lee Joon's the best at everything. If he's hiding. He won't be found unless he wants to." He told Jay as the kid kicked the other man's abdomen again. He's now coughing blood.

"Now pick one! Only one! I need fresh meat tonight before I die." He said disgustingly licking his lips.

Jay looked at Lia, then at Yeji. He can't just pick one. Not only you're picking who to save but you're also picking who to sacrifice.

"Jay! Save me! Please!" Yeji pleaded just like when they were still young.

Jay glanced at Lia who's trembling so bad and already hyperventilating to say anything.

He wanted to save Lia so bad but it would be unfair to Yves. He now has to deal with it with his own hands.

When you're given a gun and enough bullets as your enemies, you can't miss, or you'd miss killing one of them.

Jay heard a voice in his head. A familiar one, but he forgot when or who told him that.

"Time's up." Jay told him, pointing the gun at the man who's holding Lia and Yeji. He took a deep breath like what Sunoo taught him. Even if this man dies, he deserved it. He's a bad guy and he said he's going to die anyway. Jay thought. It would be like outting him out of his misery.

He was about to pull the trigger when Jungwon jumped from a fence to give the man a high kick before Jay could shoot him dead.

Jungwon repeated the the word 'Sorry!' On and on, as he broke the man's leg so he won't be able to chase them. The man growled making Jungwon hiss and sympathize.

Taekwondo did him good.

Jungwon grabbed the man's gun and gave it to Jay. "Unload it." He demanded. "What the fuck was that? Were you seriously going to shoot him?" Jungwon pushed Jay in frustration. "What were you thinking?" He spoke again. He shook his head when Jay looked emotionless. He looked cold.

Without getting an answer, Jungwon rushed towards Yeji who's crying. She wrapped her hands at Jungwon. "Let's get out of here." She pleads.

Jungwon did as she said, and took her away.

The man who's coughing blood earlier managed to stand up and grab Lia, placing a knife under her chin. "Step closer and she's fucking die." He warned Jay. "Drop your weapons." He ordered him.

Lia started crying once more, feeling the sharp knife leave a hot stinging feeling on her neck.

"I'm going to have her before I die! And you're can't do anything about it, or I'll kill her right away." He said, trying to drag Lia away.

Jay unloaded two of the guns, then dropped it. "Sorry Iya." He said then, making Lia cry louder.

He thought Jay's just going to let it happen. He will just stand there and watch the whole thing. The man laid Lia on the pavement, his knife still on her neck. "Be quiet little one. I'll only hurt you. I won't take long." He whispered.

Jay then leaped towards them, elbowing the man's nose. The knife was pressed a little on Lia's neck scratching her a little.

Another punch on the face and he's knocked out. "Over my dead body!" He yelled at him and threw another punch, though he was already out. Jay then carried Lia on a piggy back and went to Ten's art gallery. That's where Jungwon and Yeji went as well. Yeji's currently shaking while Ten's serving her a chamomile tea.

Jungwon still pissed at Jay.

Jay proceeds to get the first aid kit to clean Lia's wounds. First was her knees and elbows then her neck.

"Men in suits?" Taeyong sighed in frustration, thinking of what could they possibly want with a bunch of highschool kids.

After disinfecting and covering Lia's hands, she wrapped her hands on Jay like a Koala as she whimpered. Jay rubbed her back. "It's ok Iya. It's ok." He tried to comfort her.

Yeji glared at the two.

She thought, that should've been her if only Jay didn't move away.

"What if they come back? I'm scared." She cried.

"I'll really shoot them in the head then." He whispered, reassuring her.

"We'll make sure you won't be harmed." Taeyong told the kids.

"For a moment there when you apologized, I thought you're going to let him take me." Lia whimpered.

"Never. I would never let anyone touch you, even if I have to kill." Jay told her.

It was definitely an alarming statement, but Lia found comfort in it. Taeyong called Hyunjin to fetch Yeji, while Ten drove Jay and Lia home. "I'll ask Yoongi hyung to watch over you. Just don't run away from him. He can't chase you on a busy road. He can't draw attention to himself." It was Ten's final words before he let hem out of the car.

Jay made sure he made Lia hot cocoa for Lia after taking a bath. He knew that it'll help her calm down. "Jay! Don't leave me!" Lia pleads.

"I won't." Jay reassured, sitting beside her, tucking her hair behind her ears.

"Hold me!" She said as she laid down after finishing her drink. Jay wrapped his hand around her. "Tighter! So I'd feel your presence. I'm scared." She buried her face on Jay's chest.

Jay's now more determined to find Lee Joon and put an end to this.
