Lavender
Everybody was seated at the kitchen table laughing and eating. The dinner is going nice so far. I guess this is when i should tell everybody the good news. Good for some atleast.
I decided to stand up "Everyone may i get your attention?". I guess Curt caught on to what i was doing because he stood up and wrapped his arms around my waist. Everyone stopped their talking and looked my way.
"I am goin to finally reveal to you all the real reason why i gathered everyone here tonight." I took a deep breath and let it out.
"I'm right here for you babe." Curt said kissing my shoulder. Having him here made me comfortable.
"Well" I started "Curt and i are expecting in 8 months." I then sat down waiting for the reactions. Of course, the first person to react WOULD be my mother.
"Expecting? Expecting what?" My mother said raising her voice.
"A baby..." Curt butted in seeing that i couldn't really respond.
"Awwwww we're going to be aunties Kaitlynne!" Tammy screeched with joy. I am glad somebody is happy.
"Congratulations!" Thomas said with a genuine smile.
I looked at Lawrence for a reaction, but he didn't have one.
"Curt, Lavender... we're going to talk later." Lawrence said. All of a sudden my mom decided to butt in again.
"You're 17! How in the hell do you expect to take care of a child? You think this n*gga gonna help? Huh? Do you? Because he just gonna walk out and leave yo *ss stuck! You ain't staying in my house! You gotta get your b*tch *ss out! Don't come bac---" Before she could finish Vince put his hand around her mouth, but she wasn't having it so she stood up.
"So you just gonna kick me out? You had me at an early age also.. if you're mistaken!"
"Haaa you little whore!!"
"Ohhh i'm a whore? Last time i checked you slept with your HUSBANDS BEST FRIEND!"
"AND YOU SLEPT WITH MY HUSBAND AND HIS BROTHER!"
"YOU OLD, HATEFUL *SS B*TCH! YOU KNEW I WAS RAPPED BY THOSE MEN!"
My mother then charged at me. I guess she thought i was going to back down, but she was wrong. I charged back at her. Before i knew it, i was being lifted from the ground.
"Come on baby." Curt said as he carried me up the stairs. When we got to his room he sat me down on the bed.
"Baby, i'm sorry it didn't go how you wanted it to.." Curt appologized.
"It's okay..." I kissed his cheek. "It's not you fault.." The room door then opened and i seen Tammy, Thomas, Lawrence, Kaitlynne, and Mrs. Heanen appear.
"How you doing baby?" Mrs. Heanen asked me.
"I'm hurt that she would say something like that to me! Why would she say something like that to me? She knew i was rapped!"
"You know how mama is... spiteful.." Lawrence responded with his head down.
"Yea, very.." I replied back.
"You don't need to be stressing with this baby inside you!" Tammy yelled all ghetto like, popping her gum and rolling her neck. We all bursted out laughing. I'm glad i have these people... they know exactly how to make me feel better.....
"We are always here for you if you need us.. okay?" Kaitlynne said to me with a slight smile on her face.
"Thanks everyone, umm do you mind. I would like to talk to Lawrence and Curt alone for a second. We will be right down." Everyone nodded their heads and walked out, shutting the door behind them.
"What is it that you would like to talk to us about?" I asked Lawrence.
"I just wanna say that i am disappointed in you for having a baby this early. BUT i am happy that you are having a baby with Curt. I know he will man up to his responsibilities."
"Thanks bruh." Curt responded shaking Lawrence's hand.
"Yea, because if not imma kill ya." Lawrence then said smiling at Curt. Gosh my brother in crazy.
"Trust me, i am not going to leave my girl and baby behind."
"Good, i am happy for the both of you. Damn, we about to be fathers at the same time." Lawrence said with an excited smile.
"I know, we getting old." Curt replied. Then he asked the question that i was thinking in my head all along "Are you and Kaitlynne getting back together any time soon?"
Lawrence started to scratch the back of his head then responded with "I don't know... soon though."
"That's what's up" Curt started "But Aye baby?"
"Yes?" I replied.
"Do you mind if i speak to Lawrence alone for a second."
I was hesitant at first since i am so nosey, but i guess i will let them be. "Sure." With that i stepped out of the room and went downstairs to entertain my guest... again.
Curt
After Lavender left i opened the door a little to see if she was still standing around. She wasn't.... good because she does not need to hear this conversation.
"What's up man? What do you need to talk to me about?" Lawrence asked me.
"It's something about your sister."
"What's up?" Lawrence asked, now a little bit more intrigued with the conversation.
"She got herself involved with the wrong person."
"Who? Tammy? I knew that b*tch was a ghetto *ss trouble maker!"
"Nah nah nah, it's this guy names Darren."
"Mrs. Heanen's grandson?" Lawrence asked, looking kind of amused.
"Yea, she doesn't know her grandson too well. Old dude and his crew broke into my old apartment that i shared with Thomas and stole all of our things. He then messed with my family and made a sex tape with my girl."
"Oh word?" Lawrence eyes were bulging out of his head.
"Yea, and i have a feeling she still talking to that boy. He ain't nothing but trouble. I mean, i don't know if he still hang with the same crew, but if he does then he ain't no good. I think he might be using her to get info about me and to take my sh*T again. Maybe even hers, yours, everybody's."
Lawrence veins started to pop out of his neck. I can tell he was upset. He wouldn't be though? If i had a little sister and she was messing with a f*ck n*gga like Darren then i would be OVERLY PISSED.
"Does she know about what he did?" He finally asked me.
"No, i wanna find out some info on him first."
"Aight, so what we gonna do?"
"Meet me at Thomas house tonight by 10:00pm. Wear black."
"Aight"
"Aight"
And with that we both walked out of the room and went downstairs with everyone. They were playing Uno. I wanna join... a n*gga love him some Uno.
Lawrence
Yo i can't believe Lavender got herself into this. I guess i really can't blame her, because again.. she doesn't know about Darren or the sh*t he used to do maybe even still do till this day. I walked downstairs with Curt to see everyone playing Uno. I am still a little bit upset about earlier so i just chill on the sideline by the couch.
"What's wrong." I looked up from my phone to see Kaitlynne beside me. She started stroking my shoulder lightly, that's always a way to comfort me.
"Just a lot going on..."
"Wanna talk about it?" Now i know i can't talk to Kaitlynne about this. Only after it's over.
"Nah, i will later though."
Kaitlynne looked at me and sighed. "Alright, that's fair. In the meantime come over here and play UNO with us."
As much as i didn't want to, i decided to do it anyways. Atleast i get to spend time with the love of my life.

"Hhahahahaha i got yo *ss! UNO out!" Mrs. Heanen yelled causing Tammy to roll her eyes and give away some of her candy.
We've been playing UNO for the past hour. Who ever got out had to get pieces of candy from everyone. It was fun... until Mrs. Heanen started to win the last 3 times. I am kind of tired so i decided to call out for the next game. I sat on the couch and then i suddenly got a text.
Darren: Do yall have my grandma hostage?
Me: Boy hush, your grandma is over here whooping everybody's *ss in UNO.
Darren: Gee, wish i was invited.
Me: You know my boyfriend would have flipped.
Darren: Yea, i know. What was the announcement anyways?
Me: I am pregnant. Curt and i are having a baby!.
After i said that i didn't get a response from Darren. Guess he had more important things to do.
Darren
Wifey for lifey: I am pregnant. Curt and i are having a baby!
I looked at that text message over and over and over again. I can't believe this sh*t yo! I know i am not in competition with him now. As much as i want to give up, i am not going to. I am going to fight for mine rather she likes it or not. Lavender will be my girlfriend and i will take care of that baby like it's my own. That's final.
I decided to call up the men i haven't talked to in years.... Camieshon and the crew. They would know just how to help me and just what to do.
