Yn POV
It's been two weeks into my tour now and I'm already stressing....and sick. Just last night I got in a fight over the phone with Drew for something so little like always! I recored a song I wrote awhile back, like at 15, it was out of boredom one day. But that fight me and drew had made me record it late last night.
Im suppose to be at an interview performing around 8 a.m. but I'm sick in bed trying to get well enough to perform later tonight. I'm in Chicago. I felt well enough to wake everybody up and record my performance. I felt that it was the least I could do since people will show up at the interview just to see me.
I got my own self dressed. It wasn't much but hey, it's too early to be trying to get fancy. I just told my manager I needed my band,background singers, and a camera. The hotel we were in had a little club on the side of it so I used their stage. I left lourdes sleeping because I didn't want to wake her.
As I was walking to the club I started to get dizzy. I don't think anybody notice which is good because I didn't need them to worry. I wanna give this my all. The song I wrote was called, "If I Were Boy".
I made it to the club and thankfully I didn't faint. We set up and I got in my place. This was going to be a slow concert since I was having pains in my stomach. I don't want to move to fast and faint on camera.
The beat to my song started playing. This is the first time people will here it. Basically Im just throwing a song out in the world but that's ok because I feel like a lot of women will connect to this.
I slowly started singing. In the middle of the song I felt a pain in my stomach. but I ignored it and kept going. I held it a little to kind of relax the pain. It worked some.
After my performance video I told everybody thank you for waking up and coming when I asked. Even though Im paying them for this they still showed up and it says a lot.
I walked back to my hotel room with my bodyguard at my side. When I got there he took his place beside my door and I walked in. Lourdes was still sleep. I took a quick shower. After that I got in bed with lourdes. I shot drew a quick message telling him to tune into channel 243 at 8 a.m.. Then I feel peacefully asleep.
