Third Person POV
Natasha laughs as Tony , still grumbling - motions to Annabeth and Percy to follow him.
" Hey Perseus, where did you learn all those moves honestly its been a while since someone's been able to best me." Annabeth snorts and looks at Percy.
" Call me Percy, and me and Annabeth learned those "moves" at camp." she says nonchalantly like its the most normal thing to say. The others introduce themselves to their teammate and laugh off the fight they did before. Percy rubbs her hands together. "So it's nice to meet you guys and all but we - or at least I am a growing child and we haven't had like a proper meal in 5 days so can we eat something?" Clint looks at them in surprise, his fatherly instincts take over.
"Okay yeah no ones going hungry on my watch. What kinda pizza do you guys want." soon the order is in for 4 meat lovers pizzas and 2 vegetarian pizzas. Once everyone stations themselves around the counter Steve suggests that they all get to know each other.
"Sure, why not. Especially I really want to know the people who got creamed by a bunch of teenagers." she says shrugging. Annabeth tries to smoother her laugh with her hand as she smiles. Steve laughs as well, "You know usually we're the people who do that."
Percy shrugs smiles. Suddenly her phone rings. Chiron it flashes as Taylor Swifts You Need To Calm Down plays.
Looking up sheepishly she says our "Guardian" is calling us." Annabeth takes the phone and moves to the other room with Percy.
" Hi Chiron," she says. Annabeth pulls up to video call and looks at Chiron. " Hello Annabeth um your friends wanted to talk to you." there's slight movement in the back round as he hands the phone to Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, and Reyna.
" Percy! Annabeth! where did you guys go like you called camp this morning and said you'd be coming down this afternoon." Leo says his face pulled into a smile. Annabeth sighs " Yeah there was a change of plan sorry about that." Percy smirks in the backround. "Yeah ou could say that."
In the other room Tony has hacked into the feed and the rest of the Avengers are listening intently.
"Guys I'm pretty sure Stark has hacked the phone line so use our code words." Annabeth says in Ancient greek to them while she glances over her shoulder.
"Anyway Reyna how are the legionaries doing in New Rome." Leo hoots in the background and yells out. "Leo gods above you are being extremely annoying today." Calypso says in the background while waving to Percy and Annabeth. Lucky for them no one notices the Gods part.
" Well guys so we've been detained by the Avengers, all because they think we blew up St. Louis Arch and assasinated a bunch of people. So know me and Annabeth are stuck with the Avengers for life unless we want to spend the rest of our lives stuck in cells. WE fight all hte time on quests and other life threatning suiations, this is going to be a piece of cake."
Jason and Piper laugh when Leo says "Ha I'm free of my bonds. Also SUCKERS." Percy laughs and yells back " Leo do me a favor and try not to be the worlds biggest idiot known to demi-god!" Leo laughs "No promises Perce." Annabeth takes the phone back from Percy and waves goodbye to them all.
Walking back to the kitchen the rest of the Avengers are trying there best to look innocent except for Tony who looks trimphant.
"Yeah so Stark we're are so going to have a talk about this hacking into calls thing." Percy says walking in. The rest of the Avengers look sheepish as she sits down and smirks.
"Who was that on the phone anyway." Natasha asks. "Oh it was just our awesome friends from camp, who just came back from New Rome after a long and slightly annoying war." says Annabeth with a poker face Steve and Natasha look surprised.
" Kidding, partially anyway." She smirks at their faces. Clint sighs and rubs his fore head "Great now we have a Tony Jr, " Percy's mouth quirks up "Oh she's is definitely not like him its the other way around he's like her." a bunch of ohhs and burns come from the table.
Tony laughs " Okay I officially change my mind about you 2 we are going to be best friends." After eating Annabeth and Percy look around fro their rooms.
"Uh hey Tony where is our room." Percy says Confused he motions to the door on the left. "Okay this has been great getting to know you but we have things to do. Sorry bye."
Steve's POV
We all wake up at 3 in the morning to a ear splitting scream coming from Annabeths and Percy's room. Cautiously Natasha opens the door, to find Annabeth at Percy's side trying to calm the other girl down.
"What's happening to her?!" she exclaims as she watches Percy toss and turn fro her bed in terror. Annabeth looks up from calming the other girl down. " She's having dream what else do you think."
Grabbing her hand Annabeth grabs a pitcher of water a dowses Percy in it. She wakes up with a start, bags lining her eyes and hands still trembling. Stark is on the other side of the room now looking over the sketches and designs on Annabeth's bedside table. Swatting his hand away from her designs she gives hime a steely look. Natasha leans down and gently takes her hand.
"Percy are you okay you where screaming in your sleep. How bad was that nightmare." Percy shakes her head and wipes her face of the dried tears. "Nothing I haven't dealt with before." she says waving off Natasha's doubt. " What time is it." she askes. "3AM." I say bluntly. "
Annabeth sighs, "Oh." I look at her quizically. What kind of answer is Oh? " Percy looks like set a new record for how long you've slept before this happens." Percy sighs " Well I should get back to sleep, Night." she says to us and then adjusts herself and curls back under the covers. We all share looks at one another as we sigh and head back to sleep.
Percy's POV
I fiddle and jostle for another 1 hour then finally got to sleep. Finally when I wake up and start to the Kitchen and eat some breakfast in the empty room. I look around the place and wake up Annabeth pulling her to eat something. After she's done we look for the rest of the team, I tap on my watch.
" Hey JARVIS do you know where everyone is?" I ask the AI. " They are all in the training room down the hall second door on your right." I thank the AI and go back to my room for my training gear. After I pull on my orange camp T and black yoga pants I pull Annabeth along to the Gym. Inside everone is laughing and working out, I walk in with Annabeth. " Hey guys what's up." Steve who is on his second lap around the course stops infront of me " Good morning you two."
Natasha and Tony say good morning as well and then go back to their workouts. Banner walk toward us, "Hi Percy, so I need to check Annabeth's and your physical wellness and all that stuff later so after you guys are done down here got to the doctors office a few doors down okay."
I cock my head slightly but nod. Are these people going to freak when they see our scars? I think to myself. One glance at Annabeth tells me she's thinking the same thing.
Shaking off the thought I head over to the track and lace up my shoes while Annabeth goes to work on something else. Sam walks behind me to the starting line, he smiles at me " You going to run?" I look up from my shoes, "Yeah why?"
My mind flashes back to when i first entered the room Cap and Sam where running around the track. " Sam do you want me to beat Cap for you?" He smiles again and shakes his head " Haha nice joke." I shake my head at him " No I'm serious," he looks back at me, " Oh, okay yeah sure." His face is still stuck in that is she sure she can beat him look. I smile and then turn to Cap, " Hey Steve you wan to hav a race?" Cap smirks and says "Sure why not?" he walks toward the starting line, before I go I down a cup of water. Instantly the water is coursing through me and I feel my endurance build and my strength increase.
"Hey Annabeth you going to cheer me on or what?" Annabeth smirks and walks toward Sam. "She roped you guys into a race didn't she?" Sam laughs "Yeah she did." Annabeth laughs shaking her head " Good luck to you Cap. Runner ready.... go." Steve starts running doing a lap every 15 seconds, all the while I'm in front of him. " Hey guys one question when does this end?" Natasha smiles as she walks up to where Sam and Annabeth are. " You run for as long as you can for as fast as you can." she yells as we pass by.
One hour later me and Steve have completed 7 miles around the track. "Okay that enough we're good."Sam yells out to us. I jog to them, not even a bead of presperation has fallen off of me. Steve however is another thing, behind the me super soldiers shirt is drenched in sweat. " Tony walks to me, "How in the heck did you get to run that fast, I mean look at you, you haven't even broken a sweat yet." I laugh " Several runs around the course back at camp with my friend Thalia and also the fact that I just can."
Tony swears under his breath as I say that. "Language." someone says, oh wait no that's Steve. "Annabeth remind never to let Leo or Thalia anywhere near Steve, poor guy would probably lose his voice from all that yelling "language!" " I say shaking my head. "Who are Leo and Thalia?"
Clint says walking up from behind us. I turn " Just my cousins who can sometimes swear in Greek and English like its nobodies buisness." I shrug and add "Okay so Banner said we ha to have a check up or something can one of you guys show us were that is. Natasha motions to follow her.
Natasha's POV
I stand in the corner as they go through the checkup . " Okay time for the phycological evaluation, so i'm going to tell you aword and then you're going to tell me the first thing that comes to mind okay." They nod in usion. "Tree."
"Thalia."
"Red."
"Blood."
"water."
"Dad."
"Friends."
"Family."
"Hell."
"Tourture."
"Okay I think that's good for now." Bruce decides " Okay I'm going to need you to take off your shirts for the examinations. Percy's face slightly pales while Annabeth's turns whiter, its fine they have Sports Bras so it's not that bad. Everyone stiffens and lets out slight gasps of surprise when tehy see the scars that cover the two girls. Bruce quickly recovers from the shock and gets to work.
"How..." Steve says out loud. Bruce finishes up with the girls then lets them go. Percy quickly pulls her shirt over head and Annabeth do the same. They both usher out of the room and leave the reast of us to wonder how they got those scars.
Tony's POV
I stand there in the utter silience as we file out of the room. "What happened?" Steve askes, I stutter and blink as I think back to their backs filled with scars and gashes " I.. I ugh- I can't really describe it."........." They- they have these scars all over their bodies like ones that you would see being made from knifes or swords." I shake my head, just as I start to the kitchen Thor walks in.
"Oh hey Thor, " he nods " What happened while I was gone." I shrug " Not much we got a new -" I stop when Thor says " Percy Jackson I see Poseidon has been claiming his offspring good to know. " I stare at him as he walks over to Percy who laughs and says " Oh hi Thor when did you get here, alos have you seen Natasha anywhere?"
I shake out of my surprise and point to Nat's room. "She's in there." Percy nods her thanks and knocks on the door, once the door opens she drags Nat by the hand to her room.
