Elizabeth's POV*
My siblings and I were in mothers garden.
Cornelia, Euphemia, and Clovis were playing with my little sister Nunnally.
Me, my big brother Schneizel, and big brother Lelouch were in mothers favorite pavilion playing chess.
Me and Schneizel were now about to begin our Chess game because Lelouch lost again.
Lelouch just took a seat nearby us and watched.
I smirked at Schneizel and asked, "Do you really think you can beat me brother Schneizel?".
He smirked and said, "I won't know unless I try sister.".
I made the first move as I moved one of my Pawns to E4.
Schneizel moved a Pawn to C5.
I moved one of my Knights to F3.
Schneizel moved his Knight to C6.
I smiled as I moved a Pawn to D4.
Schneizel too the bait and moved a Pawn to D4 taking my Pawn.
I struck back by moving my Knight to D4 taking one of his Pawns.
Schneizel moved a Pawn to G6.
I moved my Bishop to E3 as my plan began to take action.
Schneizel made a fruitless mistake and moved a Bishop to G7.
I moved a Pawn to C4.
I smiled and said, "Your skills have improved Schneizel, but it doesn't mean I'll let you win.".
He laughed as he moved his Knight to F6.
I countered by moving my Knight to C3.
Schneizel moved his Knight to G4.
I moved my Queen to G4 and took one of his Knights.
Schneizel moved his Knight to D4 and took one of my Knights.
I said, "Not bad at all." as I moved my Queen back to D1.
Schneizel moved his Knight back to E6.
I moved my Queen forward to D2.
Schneizel moved a Pawn to D6.
I moved one of my Bishops to E2.
Schneizel moved a Bishop to D7
I switched my King to G1 and my Rook to F1.
Schneizel made a similar choice and switched his King to G8 and his Rook to F8.
I moved one of my Rooks to D1.
Schneizel moved his Bishop to C6.
I moved one of my Knights to D5.
Schneizel moved his Rook to E8.
I moved one of my Pawns to F4.
Schneizel moved his Knight to C7.
I moved one of my Pawns to F5.

I moved my Bishop to G4.

I moved one of my Pawns to G6 taking one of his Pawns.
Schneizel moved a Pawn to G6 and took one of my Pawns.
I moved my Queen to F2 planning to lose it to him.
Schneizel moved a Rook to F8.
I moved one of my Pawns up to E5.
Schneizel moved a Bishop to E5 and took one of my Pawns.
I moved my Queen to H4 still planning on him taking it.
Schneizel moved his Bishop to D5 and took my Knight.
I moved my Rook to D5 and took his Bishop.
Schneizel moved his Knight back to E6.
I moved my Rook to F3.
Schneizel moved a Bishop to F6.
I moved my Queen to H6 still baiting him to take it.
Schneizel moved a Bishop to G7.
I moved my Queen over to G6 and took one of his Pawns still baiting my Queen.
Schneizel moved one of his Pawns to G6 and took my Queen as I hoped for.
Schneizel said, "You lost your Queen dear sister.".
I said, "For winning, one must be willing to sacrifice.".
I moved a Bishop to E6 and declared "Check.".
Schneizel moved his King to H7.
I moved my Rook to H3 and declared "Check.".
Schneizel moved a Bishop to H6.
I moved my other Bishop to H6 and took his Bishop.
Schneizel moved a Rook to F5 in order to block me while I cornered him.
I moved a Rook to F5 and took his Rook.
Schneizel moved one of his Pawns to F5 and took one of my Rooks.
I moved my Bishop to F7.
Schneizel moved his Queen to B6.
I moved my King to H1 to avoid his Queen and give myself enough time to win the game.
Schneizel moved his Queen to B2 and took one of my Pawns.
Schneizel said, "We're in the endgame now.".
I said, "Indeed we are.".
I moved my Bishop to F8 and said "Discover Check and incidentally, mate.".
Schneizel smiled and said, "Good game little sister.".
I smiled and said, "Same to you big brother. Still my best rival as always.".
Lelouch said, "Well played sister.".
I turned to him and said, "Thank you, Lelouch.".
Four Years Later*
Elizabeth's Is 10 Years Old Now*
I finished up my readings, sword fighting lessons, and hand to hand combat training for the day and was now in my room talking with Lelouch.
I and Lelouch soon heard gunshots.
We looked at each other then headed downstairs and saw our mother dead with Nunnally traumatized in her arms.
A Few Hours Later*
Nunnally was crippled by some of the gunshots to her legs and was blind due to the trauma.
The reports said it was terrorists who were responsible for this act against my family and I wanted vengeance for my mother's death and my sister's crippling.
A Few Days Later*
I and Lelouch went to speak to our father Emperor Charles Zi Britannia.
The doors opened and the announcer said "Announcing Prince Lelouch VI Britannia, 17th heir to the royal Britannian throne, and Princess Elizabeth VI Britannia, 18th heir to the royal Britannian throne.".
As Lelouch and I approached our father I heard the nobles whispering about my section of our family and my little sister's injuries.
They honestly disgusted me.
When we neared the throne I took a knee and bowed my head while Lelouch stood.
Lelouch and I said, "Hail your majesty.".
Lelouch then said, "Our mother the Empress is dead.".
My father emotionlessly said, "Old news, what of it?".
I understood my father was grieving and didn't push on it as Lelouch would.
Lelouch got agitated with our father's answer and asked, "What of it?".
My father asked, "You sought an audience with the Emperor of Britannia simply to inform me of that?".
I still couldn't blame father for his words towards Lelouch.
Lelouch angrily asked, "Why didn't you keep mom out of harm's way? And why haven't you visited Nunnally yet?".
Father said, "I have no use for that weakling.".
I formed my hand into a fist on the ground I was kneeling on.
Lelouch then took me by surprise by angrily saying "I give up my claim to your throne. I'm sick of fighting and scheming over who will succeed you, father. I've had enough!".
Father said, "You are dead. You have always been dead to me, dead from the moment you were born. Who gave you the fine clothes you wear, a comfortable home, the food you eat, and your very life? All of those, I have given to you. In short, you are nothing to me because you have never existed. Yet you dare to speak such foolishness to me? Lelouch! You are dead. Therefore, you are not entitled to any rights. I am sending you and Nunnally to Japan as Prince and Princess and you will serve well as bargaining chips.".
Lelouch asked, "What about Elizabeth.".
Father calmed down and said, "Depending on her question, she will either be sent with you or stay here.".
I then felt all eyes on me.
I humbly asked, "May I have his Emperor's permission to do something?".
My father said, "Yes my daughter.".
I stood up and looked upon my father.
I said, "I know your Majesty would not appreciate this but I ask to be sent with Lelouch and Nunnally to Japan.".
Father asked, "Why? You may speak.".
I said, "Because they are my siblings and I have to be by their side to protect them.".
Father said, "I appreciate your honesty and will allow your exile not as a bargaining chip but as a daughter looking out for her siblings.".
I said, "Thank you, your majesty.".
Later On At August 10th, 2010*
Lelouch, Suzaku, and I looked to see The Holy Britannian Empire declare war upon Japan.
I assumed it was about the rights to Japan's underground resources that was a hotly disputed issue straining the already deep-rooted diplomatic tensions between the two sides.
Lelouch, Suzaku, and I moved to get to safety and back to Nunnally.
1 Week Later*
Within a week Japan became a dominion of the Empire and Japan was stripped of its freedom, its rights, and its name and was rechristened, Area 11.
We all stood and sat nearby as Prime Minister Kururugi's body was burned.
I kept the sleeping Nunnally close while Lelouch said, "I swear... I swear, Suzaku, Elizabeth, so help me. I will one day obliterate Britannia!".
