HEY GUYSSS!!!
I'm gonna try and make this short so that we can get to the story!
1) This is the second book in the "Hopelessly Devoted" series. Technically speaking you could hypothetically read this without having read the first one, but you should really really read "Hopelessly Devoted" first! Y'all will be pretty lost if not..
2) Please no negativity!! If you're coming from the first book, you already get my vibe- I respect and support your choice to not read my book or to dislike many or all things about it- it's no big deal! I'm chillin.. but please don't leave negative comments. They interfere with how others perceive characters or the story which is no bueno... so plz just do you and let other people do them. It's literally that simple :) no need to be problematic. my feelings won't be hurt by negative comments but you'll look like a crummy person and ur better than that, don't do that to urself!
3) There WILL BE SMUT in this book- plenty of it- but have patience my children.. it doesn't happen right away ;)
4) Don't slut shame. Period. Excuse my French (I swear a lot- sorry), but double standards are ugly as fuck, and they're simply not fair, so don't come after a female for being a "slut" or claim she "belongs to the streets" while males are practically idolized every time they get laid or are sexually active. Ive said it once and I'll say it again- you do you, and as long as they're not hurting anyone, let others do them. (Someone had to say it I'm sorry..)
5) This book deals with very heavy topics, and goes into more depth on certain issues than the first book does. Some parts will be very heavy. I wrote a trigger warning in the story description, but if you didn't see it I will restate it again here bc it's important:
!!! TRIGGER WARNING !!!!
- Suicide, and suicidal thoughts
- Sexual assault and domestic abuse
- Addiction, alcoholism, and substance abuse (heavily focused on)
- Anxiety and bipolar depression
- Strong language and mature scenes
There will be some additional warnings at the start of some chapters that may be particularly triggering to some, but not all.
