Nick walked into his home later that night, once again feeling the emptiness of the silent walls that were once so full of life.
There used to be pictures all over those forest green walls in the living room where so many memories were made. This was the room where Jidy first gave the fox the news that she was pregnant with Amber. However, now the walls were almost bare.
Sometimes, if Nick were to concentrate hard enough, he could still smell Judy's scent on the fabrics of the couch.
Their bed, where so much love was made now felt like isolation. Often times, the fox would miss those night where he lay beside Judy and the bunny would continue to steal all the blanket in her sleep. He would miss waling up in the morning and seeing those beautiful violet eyes looking onto his emerald green eyes with so much love. He would often miss those nights during a roaring thunderstorms where the kits would get scared and run to their parents room for safety.
That kitchen, which held memories of bunt meals, and laughter. The fox would recall the days where Judy tried to teach Amber how to cook simple meals, and the young bunny feeling like a master chef when her grilled cheese sandwich came out beautifully.
The backyard, which held multiple tournament games of football, and endless fun of roughhousing in the large pile of leaves that would be raked up ever fall. All the nights where Nick would make a fire out there, and the fox would tell his corny jokes that never failed to make his family laugh.
This home held alot of memories. It held so many cherrishable moments that Nick always kept in his heart. It was a house so full of love. Full of happiness. Full of life. Full of fun. However, now, as Nick sat on the couch flipping through TV channels, the house had never felt more empty. Two years of Nick being the only one left roaming the halls, and still, the house didn't feel the same as it did when he and Judy were raising their family together in it.
Nick would often turn the TV volume up as loud as it would go, just to drown out the sound of silence.

Judy walked into the ZPD with her normal smile on her face, seeing Clawhouser at the desk," Judy!!" The cheetah said joyfully," How was your weekend?"
"I guess interesting would be the best term to use," Judy chuckled.
"How is Nick doing?"
Judy smiled," You know him. Same old Nick."
Clawhouser nodded his head then looked at the bunny's face," Judy, are you ok? Your cheek looks a little swollen."
Judy thought quickly and said," Yeah, I slipped in the shower last night and hit my face," the bunny laughed," Always a dumb bunny."
"Are you ok?"
"I'm just fine," Judy answered," Just ready to get to work. I'll catch up with you late, Ben," Judy said, making her way to the Bullpin.

Nick was sweating like a pig as he continued putting together the house his job needed done. The work distracted him from his constant thinknig on how the kits were. He tried hard to fight the urge to call every hour. He was worried about them is all. After seeing how Jason was during his drunken stages, he REALLY worried about them.
"Wilde!"
"Yes, Mr. Molt?" Nick said, wiping the sweat from his forehead.
"We got a new job. I want you, Finnicl, Robert, and Cal to get it done for me."
"Where at?"
"Bunnyburrow," the bossman said," Guy by the name of 'Hopps' needs a shed built."
"What?" Nick asked, shocked.
Molt raised a brow," Is that a problem?"
Nick thought of it for a moment and sighedd," No sir. No problem."
"Better not be. This bunny is paying good money for this job."
The wolf then walked away, leaving Nick in his thoughts.
Nick took out his phone and dialed Faith's number. After a few rings, she picked up," Hello?" The bunny answered.
"Faith. Hey. I need a favor from ypu."
"Shoot."
"I'm uh...I'm gonna be on BunnyBurrow for a few days. Turns out, your dad needs a shed built and he called my bossman for it. Anyway, you think you can keep an eye on Jidy and the kits for me? Just....make sure nothing bad happens."
"Of course I will," Faith said," Jidy is my sister after all."
Nicl sighed,," I know. Its just....I. dont trust Jason."
"I understand. Dont worry, if i hear ANYTHING, you'll be the first mammal i call."
"Thanks," Nick said, hanging up the phone.
The fox then went to fatch the other guys, telling them to pack for BunnyBurrow cause they would be leaving first thing in the morning.

Nick's truck and Cal's truck, both hauling trailers of tools and lumber, drove toward BunnyBurrow. Nicl hadn't seen Stu and Bonnie Hopps sense the divorce, and so he had no idea what their reaction would be to seeing Nick show up. The fox could only hope that it was a good reunion.
"Ypu gonna be ok, slacker?" Finnick asked his friend.
"Of course," Nick said with a smile.
Finnick raised a brow," You're right. I guess there SHOULDNT be any pressure in driving to your ex-in-laws house."
Nick chuckled," Alright, did you remember to bring the plans?"
"If you really think I'm gonna spend this five hour car ride talking about WORK you are sadly mistaken."
Nick rolled his head," Ok. What do you want to know?"
Finnick turned around then saod," We can start by what the hell happened to your back window."
Nick shook his head," Ypu dont want to know."
"Well, actually, I do want to know.....that's why I asked."
Nick sighed and said," Jason threw a beer bottle at my truck Monday evening."
Finnicks eyes went wide," and you just let him keep his kneecaps? Nick Wilde, have I taught you NOTHING!?"
"Amber and Todd were ob the car," Nick said," What am I supposed to do?"
"Why did he throw the bottle?"
"Because I refused to let my lits be alone with him while on a drunkin state," Nick said," I cant believe judy allows him to drink at all. From what I hear, thay rabbit drinking always leads to trouble, but Judy just continues to put up with it. She continues to let that bastard sit on his couch, and down a 12 pack of beer before the sun goes down. I cannot believe she is so blinded by whatever kind of 'love' she found that she is allowing my kids to be around it. Then, I come to find out, that this sorry bastard, is making Kudy WALK to work, so he can use MY car to go make beer runs or gamble with his friends. After what I saw Monday, I already know this drunk bastard is dangerous, and I told Faith, if he lays ONE FUCKING PAW on MY kits, I will put a bullet between his eyes."
Finnicks eyes were wide as Nick went into a complete rant," So, what I am gathering here Is that Jason is not a good guy?"
Nick sighed," I'm sorry I just threw all that at you without warning. Its just....everytime I THINK about what that rabbit could do to my kits if Judy turns her back for ONE second.....it justmakes my blood boil."
Finnick nodded his head," I understand, Nick. Maybe Judy will open her eyes one day and see that this guy in not good for her or those Fluff balls."
Nick smiled a little and said continued following the road.

Todd and Amber crept inside the house, hoping they could make it to their bedroom before Jason could notice they had gotten home from school. However, today, there was no such luck as it seemed Jason was waiting for them," How was school?" The bunny asked, sitting in his chair was a beer on his hand.
"It was good," Amber answered nervously.
"Your mother wont be back for another two hours, so I suggest for that time, you go to your room, you sit down, and you stay quiet. One word heard and I'm coming in there. You hear?"
The two nodded their heads.
"Then get the hell out of here, my show is on."
The lits quickly went to their room and shut the door," why do we have to be left alone with him?" Todd asked his big sister.
"We dont have no choice," Amber answered.
"If we did have a choice, I would go home with daddy."
"I know, buddy," Amber said, hugging her beother," I know."

Judy entered the house and saw Jason laying on the couch," Have the kits been fed?" The bunny asked.
"I didnt feed them," Jason commented," They aren't my kits."
Judy shook her head with a sigh," What a role model for my kits to look up to."
"Ypu getting smart with me?" Jason asked, standing up.
"I asked you nicely to make sure my kits were fed when they got home. What have you been doing for the passed two hours?"
"I was watching the game," Jason answered," I didnt know I had to drop everything for these kits that aren't even MINE."
Judy lowered her head," Look, I'm not fiht about this. You go back to your game, I'll feed my kits."
Jason turned around saying," Thay was the plan, baby."

Nick's truck pulled into the Hopps family farm driveway. I place Nick had been to many times with Judy. Much like every other place Nick finds himself at, this place brings alot of memories. Some bad, but most good.
The fox smiled when he saw Stu Hopps come from the house," Nick, what are you doing here?" Stu asked with a raised brow.
"Some bunny called saying he needed a shed built."
Stu chculled," Still the same old fox are ya?"
"Some mammals dont change," Nick said.
Stu lowered his head," Ypu know....after everything happened between you and Judy, I wanted to call. I wanted to see how you were doing. Nick, I dont blame you for anything that happened."
"Thank you sir," Nick said with a smile," So, my guys are at the hotel getting some rest for tomorrow, I thought me and ypu could go through the plans."
Stu nodded his head," Alright, you come with me, I'll show you where the shed needs to be built."
Nick followed the bunny to the back of the yard, behind the barn. The fox marked the spot as Stu continued to tell him how he needed it built, but Nick soon became ZONED out when he saw the large oak tree that bloomed front of the wheat field,that looked beautiful in the Ray's of the Autumn sunset. Nick knows that by heart, because that wuss the exact spot where he and Judy said their vows.

(FLASHBACK 12 YEARS AGO)
"Do you, Nicholad Wilde, take Judith Hopps, to be your lawfully wedded wife. To love and to honor till death do you part?"
"I do," Nick said, holding the bunny's paws.
"And do ypu, Judiith Hopps, take Nicholas Wilde to be your lawfully wedded husband. To love and to honor, till death do you part?"
"I do," Judy answered, looking into Nick emerald green eyes.
"Then by the power invested in me, I pronounce you husband and wife," the preacher said with a smile," You may kiss the bride."
Nick took no time in taking Judy's lips into his own, kissing the bunny with so much passion, feeling his heart melt as she kissed back. One of the foxes best memories on the Hopps farm.

(END OF FLASHBACK. PRESENT TIME)
"Nicl?" Stu asked, seeing the fox completely zoned out," Are you ok?"
"I'm fine," Nick said, rubbing the back of his head before checking the paper," That should be good for now. I'll run it by with my team and we will have this project started tomorrow morning."
"Alright, Nick," Stu said with a smile," I'll see you then."
Nicl nodded his head, walking toward his truck. If these memories continued to come back to him, the fox wasnt going to make it through tomorrow.
AN- Uf my math is correct, that is 3500 words I have written just today. I am on a role.
*Looks on his instagram feed to see writers that wring 10,000 words a day*
