{John's POV}
"We're being pinned down" A platoon commander from the other sector shouted. Yes, we are being pinned down by those robots but we did destroyed a lot of them. But us, being the smaller forces that we are, Got outnumbered by the overwhelming number of Robots
We tried everything we could to stop their relentless attack but it's no use. Our Tanks and Field Guns did some numbers on their Panzers and Robots but still, we are already outnumbered. Those Robots killed several of the Allied Troops and Beacontown Militia
The situation is getting dire. The Colonels ordered the Troops to retreat but suddenly, it was hold back by the sudden German Forces behind that came out from nowhere. Yes, we are encircled
I was now with Amy, Mike, my Team, Jesse and his group while Captain Montgomery is on the other sector, holding its position with his platoon. We also met up with Colonel Conrad and Gorzia. Colonel Conrad is holding a MkVI Magnum while Colonel Gorzia is holding an Italian Anti-Tank Rifle. We all are still fighting both Forces in front and behind us
"How's the situation, Captain?" Colonel Conrad asked. I shook my head
"Not good, Sir. Those bloody Jerries got us surrounded and we lost lots of our troops and Jesse's Militias" I replied to him. He chuckled
"Well, those bastards did like to circling us to demoralized us huh? Well, that's not going to happen. we need a plan to stop them" The Colonel said. Then i looked behind him to see one of the Jerries was aiming at the Colonel and was about to shoot the Colonel. I was about to shoot him, but Colonel Conrad was too fast that he shot the Jerry in the head without looking at him
"Nice shot, Sir" I complimented him.He smiled and placed his gun back to its holster on his belt "Is there anything we can do to stop their assault?" he asked us
"Well, Sir. As you know that we lost lots of Troops, but we didn't lose any Tanks to the Germans but we lose a couple of Field Guns. Those are our only advantages against them" Amy explained. Col.Conrad nodded his head in understanding
"Yes, indeed. But we need a plan to completely stop their offensive" Col.Gorzia remarked, who were on a crouching position with his Anti-Tank Rifle
"Hey Guys" Jesse began. We all looked at him "I think i have a plan but i'm not sure if it will work" Jesse said
"Go on, Tell us, Jesse" Col.Conrad gestured for himnto continue
"You see me and my friend had a outdated but a smart tactic. Bullhorn Tactic. So we formed a formation that shaped like bull horn and counter the Regular Germans assault. As for the Metallic German troops in front of us, we sent 2 groups to flank the enemy from a hidden position while The rest will keep defending the sector. Then, when we finally defeated the Regular Forces, we will do the same to the Metallic German Troops. The Forces that defeated the Regulars, will join the counter attack afterwards. I also heard that the rest of my Friends and their Groups were on their way here3" Jesse explained. Our Commander, Conrad scratches his chin and then he smiled
"Hmm, you know what? That's a good plan, Lad. Let's do it!" Colonel Conrad said while snapping his fingers "Oh yes, by the way, You lead us now...Commander" he told Jesse who sweat dropped. I smirked at him
"Uhhh, me?" Jesse said nervously while pointing himself. We all nodded
"Tell us what to do, Commander" i said to him motioning himself to take command
"Okay then. As as the Commander of the Combined Allied Forces and Beacontown's Army, we'll take the offensive to them" Jesse said solemnly. Petra hit his arm lightly. We all smiled at him. He is truly a Hero to his People. That's why his People elected him as 'The Hero of Residence'. Heh, lucky him. "Alright let's do it everyone! For Freedom!" He said as he pumped his fist in the air
"FOR FREEDOM!" Everyone chanted including those who were still fighting the Overwhelming Jerries forces on both side. Colonel Conrad activated his wrist communicator and start sending a message to all Division leaders including the Tankers. He clicked on the button of the communicator and started his message
"To all Division leaders, this is your Commander. I assumed the overall command of the Task Force to Jesse, the Town's leader. We're planning to destroy the Jerries using Bullhorn tactic so that we could overrun both Jerries Forces. I wanted 3 Divisions to launch the counterattack against the The Regular Jerries along with our Tanks. The artillery will provide us with fire support. I also wanted 2 platoons to flank the Robots while the rest of 3 Divisions will keep defending the sector. When we defeated the Regulars, We will launch the counter attack against the Robots with the flankers attack first, followed by the defenders, and then the rest of our forces that defeated the Regulars. Jesse will lead all of you who counters the Jerries Regulars. So is that all clear? If it's clear, Move out!" That was his message as he released the button and turned to Jesse and me
"Mr.Jesse, John it's your time. Commander Jesse, win this battle against them. Join us when you won. I have a faith in you, Sir" The Colonel said to us. We nodded in understanding. Then he turned to Colonel Gorzia "Colonel, would you like to assist them? After all, you're an expert in offensive" He asked the Italian Colonel. The Italian Colonel smiled and replied "It will be my pleasure" Colonel Gorzia replied, solemnly
"Alright then! Let's go!" Jesse said, inviting both me and Colonel Gorzia with him. We're going to a attack the Jerries back and the Hero of this world himself, will lead us. Hmmm, how interesting... Anyway, we are going to a Counter Offensive that will turn the tides of this Campaign in hope that we can repel the Jerries out from the Town. Our Forces were smaller than the Jerries but enough to resist their Aggression. I'm still suspicious about the Jerries Super Weapon whereabouts. Shouldn't it be here with the rest of their forces that were attacking us now?
{Jesse's POV}
It's time for us to turn the tides of this war. After the assembling of Forces from the Allied Forces consisted of the British 99th Infantry Division, 72nd Gurkha's Rifles, and the Italian Ardittis along with my Militants of 5000 People that had gathered before. The plan is simple yet suicidal. We are going to attack the German's Regulars who attacked us from our back before when the Robots attacked too. We're only consisted of 2500 Troops while the Germans had a force of 10.000 Troops armed to teeth. They outnumbered us 4 to 1
But, we have the advantages. Most of our Forces were highly trained, conventionally equipped, and skilled in combat. My People especially who were skilled in using swords, axes, and bows are ready for the battle. The Allies who were trained and skilled in using their conventional weaponry were ready and eager to change the tides of this battle too. They also had their Tanks who will join the Counterattack and the Artillery who will provide us fire support
We were still in our entrenched and barricaded position, still holding our position, waiting for the Germans to back down a little and launch their next wave of assault. Then we could start our own attack against them. Right now they're still trying to destroy us by throwing all they got on us. I know that 4 to 1 is not a fair balance but we need to win if we want our freedom. Some evil foreign forces can't just step in and take it away from us. Oh No! They need to fight for it
Right now i was at the center Barricaded sector with Petra, John, his Team, Gorzia, and three Allied Division commanders. The first commander is a British. The second commander describes himself as a Gurkhas. The third commander is an Italian. They're here to receive orders from me
"Alright Everyone! We will attack the Germans when they send their next wave. Form in a bullhorn formation. It will probably surprise them and we'll caught them by surprise. When we finished with them, we'll join the others, against the Metallic Forces! Okay?" I told both Commanders as they nodded in understanding and saluted at me. I simply smiled at them and dismissed them
"Soooo, we just wait for them to send another wave? and then we'll strike them after that?" John asked me. I nodded
"Yeah, with that we can surprise them and caught them off guard. They've been focusing themself in offensive that they forgot their defense. With that they'll be surprised and the Troops will be in panic" I explained to him
"That is actually a solid plan and you're right though. The Jerries did always focused on their offensive but they always abandoned their defense. They think that we'll only be going in a defensive position and never tried to attack. Well,those bloody Jerries are wrong. Very Wrong. You only know them about less than a Month" He commented. I chuckled
"Yeah, well every Hero has its Luck. I didn't figure it out myself though" Ie said. Confused, John raised his eyebrow. I turned my head to Petra and Jack "My friends help figuring it out too. They're my spirit and strength too" I simply stated. He smile. That's right. Friends are reliable. They will help us if we are in need. They're our brain and muscle too. And they're also our spirit and strength that'll help us in desperate time like this
"Jesse!" Petra shouted near a barricaded position where she and Jack was. Jesse and i ran to where she and Jack is. She's looking at the Front where the German Regular Forces were attacking
"What is it, Petra?" Jesse asked her. She pointed in front of us. We look at the direction where she's pointing at us. The German Regulars has launched their next wave of Assault
"Looks like the Germans has launched another wave. It's time?" Jack asked me. I nodded
"Yeah, it's time" Jesse simply said then he turned to me "John, please tell Gorzia and the Italian division commander to prepare and tell the other British division to be ready. We're going to strike them" I said with determination
"Aye Aye, Commander!" John said as he went to tell them. With the unity, I believe that we can win this battle and preserve Freedom
