It's early morning when you open your eyes. Clementine is still asleep, of course. She sleeps too late. Aj is sitting on the balcony. The blanket and pillow he used last night are messily laying on the ground.
You get out of bed and walk over to the closet where you hung your clothes. You're cold without the warmth of Clementine and the blankets. You grab your clothes out of the closet and start putting them on. Only having one arm makes it hard. It's frustrating. You grunt as you wrestle them on.
Clem: Frustrating, I know.
You: Jesus!
You look over at her. You had no idea she got up. She laughs, realizing how bad she scared you.
You: Stop laughing, you're lucky I didn't have my knife or it be through you head right now.
Clem: Woah! That's mean.
You: It's true. Scaring me is bad business.
Clem: Aj's the same way.
You: Just... less deadly. I kill first. He probably doesn't.
Clem: No, he doesn't.
You finish putting your clothes on and grab your steel arm.
You: Let's hope I remember how to put this on.
You start trying to do it by yourself.
You: Clem?
Clem: Uh huh.
You: Can you... hold this for me?
Clem: Why the hesitation? You know I'll help you.
You walk over and sit down beside her so she can hold it in place as you attach it.
You: I don't know. I'm just used to doing things on my own.
Clem: It's been months since you've done things on your own.
You: And life was so much simpler.
Clem: And boring, depressing, lonely-
You: Ok, I get it. I lived it.
Clem: It sucks.
You: Yeah.
Clem: Would you go back to being alone?
You stop what you're doing and look at her, pondering her question.
You: It depends.
Clem: On what?
You: The situation.
Clem: I would never go alone again. Unless I had to.
You: Exactly, unless you had to.
Clem: Finish putting this arm on. I want to get up.
You: Right sorry.
You go back to putting it on.
You: Alright and... Done... I think.
Clem: Are you going to help me now?
You: I thought yours was easy?
Clem: It is.
You: But you want me to help you?
Clem: I helped you.
You: Yeah alright.
You get up and walk to the closet to grab her clothes as she gets herself ready.
You: Wait, which of these are you wearing?
Clem: The one I wore yesterday.
(Use your imagination. They look however you want them to look. I personally never stopped having her wear the outfit from season 4 in my mind.)
You: Gotcha.
You take them out of the closet and walk over to the bed setting them on the end.
You: You need to fix your hair.
Clem: I thought you liked it without my hat?
You: I do... But it looks rough.
Clem: Jerk.
You: I'm looking out for you. Would you rather me tell you or someone else?
Clem: Someone else.
You: Yeah, but I don't really care. Louis would not shut up about it. Violet would... well I'm not sure what she'd do. Ruby is nice so, she'd probably help you fix it. Aj, wouldn't notice. Uhh..
Clem: Stop.
You: Well I think you look great anyways.
Clem; You've already dug the grave.
You: Would me putting the leg on fill the grave again?
Clem: I don't know.
You: That's a yes.
Clem: No.
You bend down and start fiddling with it. It's a lot like your arm, with a few differences. But you get it on nonetheless.
Clem: You know you bite your lip when you focus?
You: Yeah?
Clem: Just wondering.
You: You're trying to get me back, but jokes on you. I don't care.
Clem: I just thought it was cute.
You: Uh, no. I'm not cute, stop.
Clem: What if I did that in front of people?
You: I wouldn't care.
Clem: Really?
You: Yeah.
Clem: Soooo, if I would do it in front of Louis you wouldn't care?
You: I'd kill him.
Clem: Yeah probably.
You: I'm sure you'll find something eventually.
Clem: Scars.
You: What?
Clem: I could call you scars.
You: No. Unless you're trying to piss me off.
Clem: Yeah, bad idea, sorry.
You: It's not a big deal. I think you look fine. Other people would not.
Clem: I'll just put the hat on.
You: That works too.

She gets dressed and stands up.
Clem: What are we doing?
You: I thought we were going to walk around once you got your new leg?
Clem: We are.
You: So, why'd you ask?
Clem: I wanted to know if you remembered.
You: I do.
Aj: Good morning.
Aj walks in looking exhausted.
Clem: What's wrong?
Aj: I didn't sleep well. I can't believe Wade died. All my friends die.
Clem: I'm here.
Aj: You're basically my mom, Clem.
Clem: Y/N.
Aj: I don't know him very well, and he did die.
You: Not technically.
Clem: Louis, Violet, Ruby.
Aj: I want someone my age, who won't die, to be friends with. Like you.
Clem: There's a lot of kids here.
You: Not smart.
You whisper.
Clem: How about you go out and talk to some kids your age?
Aj: That's scary.
Clem: If you can fight the Walkers, the Delta, and Y/N; you can do this. I promise. If it doesn't work out, their loss. I'll always be your friend whether you think I am or not.
Aj: Can I stay with someone else if I find a friend?
You: You should probably stay in here.
Aj: Why?
You: So we can keep an eye ya.
Aj: You're hiding something.
You: Nope.
Aj: I can't tell if you know, but Clem is hiding something.
Clem: No.
You can see how obvious it is.
Aj: I can tell.
You: Look buddy. It's a bad idea to start trusting people right after you meet them.
Aj: You did.
You: No, you kept me locked in a room for a week, where Violet got me to somewhat trust her.
Aj: You trusted Clem quickly.
You: Not immediately though.
Clem: It was pretty close to immediately.
You: Well, in my defense, you're really nice.
Aj: You should see her mad.
You: Oh I have.
Aj: It's scary.
You: Yeah.
Clem: Hell yeah. I scare you both.
