Jungkook's POV
The door burst open as in cane y/n
"You again?!" I stood up from my seat
"Hey Jungkook ! Just let it go and let her help you" chief followed her
"But chief"
"It's alright ok! One case won't do you any loss" he sighed and then smiled looking at y/n before exiting the room.
A victorious smile made its way to y/n 's was as she raised her eyebrows looking at me.
"Why you-." Before I could continue my statement , a tall guy , not more than 25 years old walked inside ,with puffy and swollen eyes.
"You are?" I asked
"I am Nina Ryan's boyfriend,Rob"
"What?She had a boyfriend?" Y/n spoke this time to which he nodded.
"I am here to give you my statement"
"What statement?" I asked
"Actually I know something that might help you find the murderer." He said
"Okay speak." I said as I motioned him to sit down.
Y/n sat on the chair beside him as I motioned her to record his statement.
"A few days ago , she received a call , after the call ended , she looked pretty disturbed, I kept on asking her about what was wrong but she didn't tell me." He paused as he took a deep breath before continuing
"After that I tried to ask her again , but to no avail , she still didn't tell me anything and then I didn't ask her. I wish I had convinced her somehow." Tears started to fall from his eyes.
Y/n switch off the recorder as she kept her hand on his shoulder and tried to console him.
"Do you suspect anyone?" On that he looked at me before nodding
"Yes"
"Who is it ?" Y/n asked
"Kate Carter "
"Kate Carter ?! The actress Kate Carter?" Y/n asked raising her eyebrow
"Yeah her."
"Why do you think it's her?" I asked
"Well because she was first decided for James Cole upcoming movie but then he changed his decision and instead offered Nina , the main role." He paused before continuing "he didn't take Kate out of the movie , instead he gave her the side role." He finished
"So you think that Kate was threatening her?" Y/n asked
"And you think she murdered her for the main role." I spoke
"Yeah"
"Okay you may leave then. However, leave your contact here in case." I said as he took the pen and jot down his number.
He got up and left.
"So it really is her." I narrowed my eyes
"Do you really believe him?" Y/n raised her eyebrows getting up from the seat
"Yeah , it perfectly makes sense."
"Don't you think , we should investigate further?" She spoke
"Let's just go to Kate's for now.Wait Wait , get James Cole contact , we are going to have a talk to with him first." Jungkook said as I nodded "we need to handle things calmly cause what if she senses something and runs away."

"Hi I am Jeon Jungkook and this is Y/N and we are from Bangtan Investigation Department." James shook my hand as he observed both of us
We were here at the set , the movie was put on hold for now but the staff was still here wrapping everything up.
"Actually we are here to ask you some questions" y/n spoke
"Questions like?" He raised his eyebrows
What a curious man
"Well about Nina Ryans" he narrowed his eyes at the name as he brought his face forward and motioned us to continue
"We have heard that you first casted Kate Carter for the main role but then changed your decision and casted Nina Ryans instead! Why so?" I asked
"Well Even though Kate is a great actress but Nina was the spot light nowadays , I had to cast her.. A director gotta see who is more profitable ya know." He said as he sipped in the wine.
"Do you think Kate minded this?" Y/n asked
"Ofcourse she did ! Who wouldn't , it was like a shame to her."
"Okay thanks, if you don't mind , can I question some of your staff?" I asked
"Sure go ahead!"
After that I and y/n , we started asking different staff members about Kate's and Nina's behaviour with each other on the set , some chose to avoid the question , some said they didn't notice until one person called us out
"Hey you guys!"
We both turned our direction towards the source of the voice.
"You guys wanted to know about Kate's and Nina's behaviour ?" We nodded
" I am one of the hairstylist here and when I used to style Kate Carter's hair , I would see her texting someone about Nina Ryan's and how much she dislikes her , one time I even heard her talking to someone about how bad she wanted to kill Nina Ryans." He paused before continuing " I hope this might help you" That said , he left.
"So her boyfriend was right , there is a very high chance that the murderer is Kate Carter , either she killed her herself or got her killed by someone."
"But we still need more evidence."
"Why?" I asked
"It's about putting someone behind bars , it's a big deal , we just can't randomly put anyone.right?" Y/n spoke
"You get on my nerves!"
"What? So you feel bad when I win an argument!huh?! Jealous much." She smirked before turning on her heels
"Wait a second." I held her hand and turned her back
"What the .." she protested
"Jealous who?" I pulled her closer and grabbed the other hand too moving both the hands behind
"What are you doing? Leave me !" She gritted her teeth but I didn't fail to notice the tint of blush that had made its way to her cheek.
"First answer me or else .."
"Or else what?" She tried her best to get free of me
"Or I ll pull you even more close." I pulled her even more closer as our breaths exchanged.
"J-jungkoo-k! What are y-you doing?" I could sense her heartbeat fastening
"I love this."
"Love what?" Her pupils dilated as her breath paced
"This expression on your face." I smirked "you have a big mouth but at situations like these , you become speechless." I laughed
Twisting her hand , she got free of my hold
"Jerk" and with that she got out ..
