Chapter Two

"Please buckle your seat belts and get ready for takeoff.", the flight attendant tells everybody.
Everyone buckles their seat belts and awaits for the plane to take off.
After about five minutes it finally takes off and Kyle and I just sit on our phones until they die which is about 30 minutes in.
"So, who all is gonna be there?", I ask.
"Well we're mainly gonna be with Johnnie and Bryan. They don't know about you though so it might be awkward..."
"That's fine. I'm good in awkward situations... I think."
He laughs.
I guess you're probably wondering why they don't know I exsist.
The only people that know I exists are Kyle and our parents. I don't even go to public school. I'm not exactly sure why, I think they're just trying to protect me after what happened.
"Hey, Melody, don't think about it. Are you excited to meet Johnnie and Bryan? They'll love you, I'm positive of it.", he smiles at me. I plaster a fake smile and look out the window before drifting off to sleep.
