Sana's POV
I keep on walking back and forth at the corridor of the hospital because I totally don't know what to do. I want to check if she's alright, I want to make sure that her condition is getting better but I'm hesitating to enter her room due to the fact that we're not close in the first place.
I breathed heavily to take a lot of courage to slightly open the door of her room. I glance at the woman laying down on the hospital bed. Even though she's sick, she still looks so beautiful. How can someone be so perfect even when they're sick? Only Architect Chou.
A man walked towards her and sat beside her. The man is Kim Mingyu and he's holding a bowl of soup for her. I heard Nayeon and Tzuyu talking about him before. Mingyu is Tzuyu's ex-boyfriend but they are still close, hmm? And Tzuyu have feelings for Nayeon before but Tzuyu chose Mingyu. I therefore conclude that Tzuyu is not straight and she's bisexual.
"I told you, I can do it." Tzuyu said when Mingyu insisted to feed her.
"And I told you, I want to make it up to you. Let me do it, please." the guy pleaded and Tzuyu just rolled her eyes and let the guy feed her. Why do they look so sweet?
Damn! No, I'm not jealous at all.
"Sana?" I was startled when someone called my name. I quickly closed the door and saw Jihyo and her husband standing next to me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"What are you doing here?" She asked back to me.
"I'm... I'm... just closing the door because it's open." I said but her face clearly tells me that she knows that I'm lying.
"Why are you visiting Tzuyu? You know her?" She asked. I should lie.
"No. I don't know her at all."
"Then I should introduce you to her. She's the architect that I've been talking about. Let's go." She said and held my wrist, forcing me to follow her.
Wait... What? She's the architect I'm going to work with? Oh My God. I think I'm going pass out.
"I should meet her next time, Jihyo. I need to go home." I said but she just smiled and pulled me inside the room along with Daniel.
"Hi, Tzuyu. What happened? It's my first time seeing you again and it's a bad timing that you're sick" Jihyo hugs Tzuyu.
Should I walk away? Gosh, please. I wish the ground would open and swallow me up.
"Flu. I miss you, unnie" She said as she hugs the latter. Her eyes turned to me and my heart almost stopped beating.
"Hi?" I waved my hand awkwardly. This is fucking awkward. I swear!
"Sana" she said. Her voice sounds so raspy.
"You know her?" Jihyo asked Tzuyu.
"Yeah, I know her"
"I didn't know you two already met" Jihyo said as she looks at me. "I thought you don't know her at all?" She said with a smirk on her face. What was that for?
"Sorry, I lied." I said and sat on the couch.
"By the way, Tzuyu, this is my husband, Daniel" Jihyo introduced him to Tzuyu. "And Daniel, this is my friend, Tzuyu"
The two greeted each other and now I'm stuck here in this room doing nothing. I saw Mingyu picked up his phone and walks away from us. I guess it's an important call. Daniel also went outside to buy something.
After a few minutes, Mingyu came back, quickly grabbing his things.
"What happened?" Tzuyu asked him.
"There's an emergency at the site. I need to go there" He said while wearing his jacket.
"Take care"
"Yup. Thanks! Gotta go now, everyone. Sorry, I couldn't stay for too long."
"It's okay, Gyu. I'm feeling better now" Tzuyu assured before he left.
Jihyo continued talking to Tzuyu, catching up with some things and I only listened carefully when I heard my name.
"You're going to work with Sana. She's a great interior designer" Jihyo trying to compliment me.
"I'm sure that you can trust her, Tzuyu, because I trust her. Her designs are amazing." Jihyo said, making Tzuyu look at me.
"Yeah, I saw her condo unit. She told me she designed it" Tzuyu repleid. Did she freaking agree with Jihyo? Does it mean she finds my designs amazing?
"Oh... so you went to her condo unit."Jihyo said as if she's thinking about something else while exchanging looks with the two of us.
"It's not what you think" Tzuyu said firmly that made Jihyo burst out laughing.
"So defensive." Jihyo said, still laughing at how Tzuyu reacted about what she said.
Daniel went back with the food that he bought and whispered something to Jihyo.
"Uhmm, guys. I'm sorry but we also need to go now. I forgot that we are going overseas tomorrow and we still need to pack our thing. Sana, it's better if you stay here with Tzuyu. She needs someone to look after her. She's still weak"
This is not good!
"I also need to go" I said.
"And why?" Jihyo suspiciously asked me. I couldn't think of some shit why I need to go.
"It's okay. I can handle myself." Tzuyu said but Jihyo shook her head.
"Sana, please? I know you're also worried. Tzuyu needs company" Jihyo pleaded. I know that she needs someone to take care of her but I don't think that's a good idea because we're too awkward with each other.
"Please?"
"S-Sure" I answered. I got no other choice. Jihyo is right, I'm also worried.
"Yay, thank you so much."Jihyo hugged me and I hugged her back.
"Enjoy your vacation" I said before we break the hug.
"We will. Take care of Tzuyu, okay?" She said and I nodded.
"Get well soon, baby Tzu" Jihyo kisses her forehead. Is it normal to kiss your friend on the forehead? Okay. Why am I overthinking? She's married with a man!
Jihyo and Daniel bid their goodbyes and now we're awkwardly silent inside the room. What should I do? I'm not used to this kind of situation. Should I open up a topic that we can talk about?
"Do you need anything? Water or medicine?" I asked.
"No, thank you." she said without looking at me. I seriously regret sending an explicit video of me moaning her name. She thinks I'm a weird and perveted girl, which is kinda true, but no, I'm not really like that. I only did that because I'm drunk that time and I liked her. Liked, past tense because she likes Momo.
"You can leave now, Sana" she said as she stood up from her bed. Is she going to pee?
"Let me help you" I said
"I can do it" She said but she can hardly stand on her own.
"I'll help you" I said and assisted her at the washroom.
"Stay outside and turn around" She said. As if I'm going to watch her pee, duh!
After that, I assisted her back to her bed and she thanked me for helping her.
"You can leave now"
"No. I agreed to Jihyo that I will take care of you"
"She will never know that you left. I'll keep it as a secret" She said and I shook my head.
I need to take care of you. That's what Jihyo said. Even though it's awkward, I will stay.
"Alright then. I'll sleep now. If you don't want to leave, you can sleep on the couch" she said and I smiled at her to guarantee that I'm fine staying here with her.
"Sure. No worries" I replied.
I sat on the couch and watch her sleep. She's really beautiful. Can she just freaking marry me? Okay, that's too much. Gotta remind myself that I don't like her anymore. Well... I should sleep. I don't want her to catch me staring at her.
