Shivani and Nikhita brought Prerna downstairs. Nandini also followed them.
Everyone praised Prerna's beauty and then they all locked their house to go to Basu Mansion.

Basu family together, except Anurag, gathered at the entrance to welcome Sharmas.
Mohini and Moloy wished Rajesh and Veena and also blessed Prerna. Then they welcomed them and all went to the hall. All the while, Nandini was curiously waiting for Anurag to appear.

Anurag and Prerna sat on the grand chairs placed at the center.
"Vaise yeh Anurag toh bade hi handsome hai" Madhuri whispered to Naveen
"Chup kar. Yeh ab zyaada din tak zinda nahi rahne waala" Naveen said in a low voice.
"Okay attention everyone, aaj humari eklota bhai, yaani ki, Anurag Basu ka engagement honewaala hai," Nivedita announced
"Aur voh bhi humari ekloti Dii, the khubsurat Prerna Sharma ke saat" Shivani completed the announcement.
Everyone clapped and applauded for them. Then Panditji told them to start the ring exchange ceremony.
Maya gave the ring to Prerna and she held Anurag's hand and put the ring on his ring finger.
At the same time, Nandini came inside with the gift packet and she entered by excusing the crowd.
Anurag took the ring from Anupam and put that on Prerna's ring finger.
Nandini looked at them at this very moment and she dropped the gift packet in shock.
"Manik!!??" This name made its way out as a prayer from her mouth.
