After a long time of getting yelled at by Paps I am able to escape to y room.
"Sorry 'out that, Red. I got it all figured out now though." There's no response. And Red isn't in the bed anymore. "Red?" I notice the open window. "Oh shi-" I leap out the window. I know I shouldn't be worried, but after what happened I can't help but be worried. What if his brother came and took him? What if he gets lost and....
I take deep breaths trying to calm myself. Even though my heart rate has slowed I find my steps quicken and tears start pouring from my eyes.
"-Ack! Stop it!" I recognize the voice. It sounds like my own except higher pitched. I rush towards the sound to see Red bending a strange skeleton's arm behind his back.
I teleport between them. I shield Red behind me and grab the strange skeleton's arm and hold him up in front of me. Blue smoke erupts from my eye socket.
"Red are you ok?" I ask turning to him.
"I'm fine." He says pulling away from me. This hurts my feelings moment, but then I realize his actions were probably because of this guy.
Wait. This guy is.... Me?!
"This is Otter Pop," Red says stepping in front of me. I drop the skeleton and my eyes return to normal. "He's a Perv." Red says jabbing Otter Pop in the stomach. "He's been spying on us for the last couple of days."
After Red fills me in on everything I allow Otter Pop to speak.
"You see, I could see you, but you couldn't see me. Or feel me for that matter. And for some reason you can see me now." He explains.
"But why?" I ask skeptical of him.
"Perhaps it is because of this..." He pulls out his soul. It is almost transparent. Orange liquid oozes from it.
Me and Red both gasp at the sight of it. A wounded soul can almost never be healed. He flinches at my touch as I take his soul on my hands.
"Does it... Hurt?" Red asks sympathetically.
"Very much so." Otter says.
"Maybe I can-" Red starts.
"No." I interrupt. "You're not using your healing trick again. It's too dangerous."
"He'll die!" Red argues.
"Shut up!" I snap immediately regretting it. "Your always protecting me." I say turning to him. "It's my turn."
