DavidBornAgain द्वारा

After an eventful night in Menagerie, Y(N) explained everything that happened to Ozpin, who was still quite surprised that you hadn't killed anyone and glad that you had managed to complete your task. After a brief discussion about your next goal, you decided to head to Atlas Academy to explain the current situation to General Ironwood. And since you have no knowledge of Atlas and its current whereabouts, Glynda volunteered to go with you. You initially declined the offer; however, Ozpin and Salem convinced you to allow Glynda to go with you to Atlas....So, everything seemed to have been set for your next journey....And since you had a bit of free time, you headed to the empty Beacon Courtyard and started meditating...

Beacon Courtyard: Early Morning

Y(N): (Meditating in mid-air) .....Last night was quite the adventure. Actually, the past few days have been quite different, to say the least. When I first came to this world, I had no idea that I would be involved with all this work. I just wanted to be a part of Beacon, fight Grimm, graduate, and then leave and never come back. But, all of that changed...when I met Team RWBY and Team JNPR. They were willing to accept me, even when I wasn't even a native of Remnant, and even when I committed so many wrongdoings in the past. It was thanks to them, that I had the chance to meet even more people. And it was thanks to them...that I finally feel like I can belong somewhere. Heh, but I shouldn't get my hopes up. I still haven't decided if I'm staying here for good. Well, no time to think about that. I still have to travel to Atlas Academy and inform Ironwood of the coming threat. Well, I still don't have to go for another hour...So, I'll just use this time...and relax...alone...Without any distract-

Nora: Y(N)!!!!

Y(N): (Screaming Internally) .....!!!

After a brief internal scream, you open your eyes to see the hyperactive and powerhouse fighter of Team JNPR headed your way. She gives you a wide smile as you simply stop meditating. You also notice that she's wearing her workout clothes.

Nora: Hey, Y(N)! Haven't seen you in a while!

Y(N): I've been busy.

Nora: With what?

Y(N): Preparing Remnant for a future war that will either destroy your planet or completely obliterate the entire universe altogether....Or if we are lucky, we will be able to save your planet without any sort of trouble.

Nora: Sounds exciting!

Y(N): ....You seem pretty calm....Aren't you worried?

Nora: Why would I be worried when we have you to protect us?

Y(N): ....Good point....

Nora: Oh, I have a question! Are you busy right now?

Y(N): Not yet. I actually have to leave for Atlas in about an hour.

Nora: Atlas?! Oooohhh! That sounds fun! Can I come?

Y(N): I think it will be better if you stay here. By the way, I heard Jaune has been training your team for the upcoming Vytal Festival. How has that been going?

Nora: It has been awesome! I don't know what kind of training you've done with Jaune, but he's really really strong now! And he's a good training teacher too! He even taught me some new fighting moves!

Y(N): (You smile) That's good to hear.

All of a sudden, Nora gasps in utter shock as she starts pointing at your face.

Y(N): What's wrong?

Nora: You're smiling! I've never seen you smile!

Y(N): ....Nora, I'm pretty sure you remember seeing me smile at least once before...

Nora: (Puts her hand on her chin and thinks for a moment) Nope! Can't seem to remember! I must have been thinking about pancakes in that moment!

Y(N): (You sigh) Of course....Well, I've been smiling more often now. Can't seem to get rid of it, so I just accepted it. I don't really like smiling, but certain situations force me to. Though, I do admit that I've come to enjoy an occasional smile.

Nora: Good for you! (She gives you a thumbs up) And since you're not busy right now, let's go work out!

Y(N): I'd rather meditate. Also, I don't think I would make for a good workout partner.

Nora: Oh come on! It'll be fun! I bet I could even lift more weights than you!

Y(N): ....Nora....

Nora: Yes?!

Y(N): I'm an alien.

Nora: Yes you are!

Y(N): That can defy gravity...Catch dust bullets without blinking an eye...Kill any Grimm with a single hit...Lift objects millions of times heavier than myself...Able to multiply my strength and speed without any issues...And you think...that you can lift more than me?

Nora: Yup!

Y(N): (You narrow your eyes)....Am I a joke to you?

Nora: Let us make it an official challenge! Loser has to buy the winner lunch!

Y(N): Are you really that confident in your strength?

Nora: Don't underestimate me! I've gotten temporarily stronger from all the pancakes I ate today!

Y(N): (You smirk) Alright, I'll accept your challenge.

Nora seems overjoyed by your answer as she jumps and claps her hands together.

Nora: SUCCESS!!!

Y(N): Don't get your hopes up. You stand no chance against me. That free lunch is as good as mine.

Nora: We'll see about that!

Y(N): Yes we will. And I can assure you that-

Nora: LET'S GET GOING ALREADY!!!

Without hesitation, Nora grabs your arm and pulls you away before you could even utter another word.

Time-Skip: A Few Minutes Later

After a few minutes of preparation, you and Nora stood side by side observing the heavyweights on the ground.

Y(N): You could always back out of this, Nora.

Nora: NO WAY!!!

Y(N): (You shrug) Suit yourself.

Nora: Let us start with a quick warm-up!

She points towards the barbell that says 100 on both sides.

Y(N): Let's just get this over with.

You walk up to the weight set and lift it over your head with one hand. And with a straight face, you threw it in the air and caught it with one finger before lowering it back to the ground.

Nora: Show-Off... (She then proceeds to sit and start stretching)

Y(N): Uh, what are you doing?

Nora: I'm stretching, silly! (She proceeds to do a few aerobic stretches)

Y(N): Stretching? ...Haven't done that in many years... Never really liked stretching anyways.

Nora: How come?

Y(N): Well, If you really want to know...It's because there is always a chance that you will "over-stretch", causing more damage to your muscles. And since certain muscles can't react to the sudden stress of particular stretches, there will be a higher chance that you will cause muscle damage to-

Nora: (Jumps into an upright position) Less Talking, More Lifting!!!

Y(N): (You gesture to the weights) Be my guest.

Nora quickly walks over to the same set you picked up. You simply cross your arms as you watch Nora pick up the weight set with minimal effort...After a few seconds, she sets it down and gives you a cocky smile.

Y(N): Don't get so cocky. We've only just begun.

Nora: We should take it up a notch! These weights are too easy!

Y(N): ...As you wish...

You walked up to the barbell that had 500 pounds on each side. And you lifted the bar with a single hand before setting it down and turning back to Nora.

Nora simply smirked and lifted the heavy barbell with minimal effort once more. However, even though she managed to pick the barbell up, you noticed the way she lifted it, was...off-balanced...

Y(N): ...Hmm...Interesting...This might be a problem...

You and Nora continued doing the same routine for the next few heavy barbells. You both lifted nearly every single one...Until you came to the 1000 barbell weight, weighing 2000 pounds altogether...

Nora: Isn't this fun, Y(N)?!

Y(N): (You lift the 2000-pound barbell with one hand) ....I....don't know....

Nora: HUH?! What do you mean by that?!

Y(N): (You set the weight down) ...I don't really know how it feels to have "fun" anymore... The last time I had any sort of fun was....(You pause and think back to your past)

Nora notices your dejected look, so she gives you a slap on the back to get your attention.

Nora: Hey, if it makes you feel any better...I'm having fun!

Y(N): (You chuckle) I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying my company.

Nora: You can laugh too?!

Y(N): Yes, Nora. I know it sounds impossible, but I can actually enjoy a good laugh.

Nora: I'm just messing around! (She gives you a light punch on your shoulder) I'm glad to see that you're happy here.

Y(N): You know what...So am I. But, if I have to be honest...I don't know if I'm planning on staying in Remnant.

Nora: WHAAAAAT?! YOU DON'T WANT TO STAY HERE?!

Y(N): No, that's not what I'm-

Nora: It's the food isn't it?! I know the food here isn't always the best, but that doesn't mean you should leave!

Y(N): On the contrary, the food here is actually good. The reason I might leave is-

Nora: I know! It's the people!

Y(N): Nora, that's not-

Nora: They don't treat you good enough here! Y(N), I know some people here are really bad, and disgusting, and moronic, but that doesn't mean you should leave!

Y(N): Well, that may be true. But, all I'm saying is that-

Nora: Or maybe it's because you feel lonely! Don't worry, Y(N)! I will make sure you never feel lonely ever again! I'll come to talk to you every day, and make sure you never experience the dreaded horror of loneliness ever-

Y(N): NORA! (She immediately quiets down the moment you raised your voice) ...Sorry...I didn't mean to raise my voice at you. (You sigh) The reason I'm thinking about leaving is far more complicated than you think...

Nora: ...Y(N)... Do you hate it here?

Y(N): It's the exact opposite actually. I really like it here. More than anywhere else I've ever traveled. And everyone I've met, everyone that considers me a friend...Everyone...that cares about me... Is the reason why I'm thinking about leaving.

Nora: W-Why is that? Did we do something to you? Did we hurt you in any way?

Y(N): No, you didn't. But, like it or not...You will.

Nora: I...I don't understand.

Y(N): I haven't told the team this yet...But, I trust you enough to hear this.... I don't age the same way as faunus and humans do. And unlike your kind, I can live for far longer than you can imagine.

Nora: Wait...Does that mean...that...you'll outlive us all?

You give a small nod as Nora looks at you with a sympathetic look.

Y(N): All of you...Everyone I've met...Everyone that I care for...Is going to die...either by natural causes, old age, or sickness....But, I won't. I'll continue living...even when everyone I've ever known passes away...

Nora: ....Y(N)....I'm so sorry....

Y(N): You don't have to be. I've accepted that fate a long time ago, and I've learned to live with it. Though it still hurts to know that I will end up alone...again... And as much as I care about my friends, I don't want to see them die. I just want everyone to live a good and happy life...A life without the fear of Grimm, without the fear of war... And that's why I'll do everything in my power to ensure Remnant's safety. I'll make sure everyone will have a happy future here....even if I can't have one....(You drop your head)

Nora: ......

Y(N): ...I'm sorry... I didn't mean to throw all this depressing information at you. (You raise your head) I just wanted-

Nora: (Pokes your nose) Boop!

You look at Nora with a confused expression as she looks at you with a small smile.

Y(N): ....Okay, but why though? Didn't you hear what I just said? I told you that-

Nora: (Pokes your nose again) Boop!

Y(N): Why are you doing that?

Nora: So you would stop being sad. I don't like it when my friends are sad, it makes me sad too, and I don't like being sad!

Y(N): Well, I can understand that. But, sadness is just a huge part of my-

Nora: Don't make me "Boop" you again!

Nora tries to give you a menacing stare, but from your perspective, it only made her look like a pouting, funny-looking child...And that was enough to cause you to chuckle.

Nora: There you go! See, don't you feel better now?

Y(N): Hehe...You know what...Yeah, I actually do feel better...Thanks, Nora.

Nora: You're welcome! Just don't get sad and we won't have any more problems!

Y(N): I'll try... Anyways, it's your turn now.

Nora smiles as she approaches the heaviest barbell. She cracks her knuckles as you were quite concerned if she was even going to lift it...

Nora: This will be a piece of cake....and by cake, I mean pancake!

Y(N): Uh, Nora...Be careful, those weights might be too much for you.

Nora: I got this, Don't worry!

She proceeds to slowly lift the barbell, and you noticed that she was standing in an off-balanced position...

Nora: (With a quick grunt, she manages to hold up the entire barbell over her head) YES, I GOT IT! (She slowly starts to fall over backward) NEVER-MIND!

Before Nora could fully fall backward, you quickly grabbed the barbell with one hand...and put your arm around Nora to keep her from falling any further...

Y(N): That was a close one.... Are you alright?

You look at Nora as she has a surprised expression...and a rather embarrassed blush...

Nora: U-Uh...Y-Y(N)...

Y(N): Yes?

Nora: (Slightly blushes) C-Could you let go...? I t-think I'm fine now...

Y(N): (You realize you are still holding her) Oh, sorry.

You quickly raise her to a normal standing position and easily set the heavyweight down.

Nora: Ummm...T-Thanks for that.

Y(N): You're welcome, I guess. I'm glad that I caught you before you hit the pavement.

Nora: Me too....

You then hear your scroll receive a notification, so you pull it out and read the message.

Ozpin Text: Y(N), everything has been prepared and adjusted for your journey to Atlas. Glynda will meet you at the bullhead docks, so don't keep her waiting too long. Oh, and make sure not to give James a heart attack again.

You simply smirk and put the scroll back in your Gi uniform.

Y(N): Well, it's been nice hanging out with you, Nora. Though, I'm afraid I have to be going now.

Nora: (Smiles brightly) Thanks for staying around!

Y(N): Oh, and since you won today's challenge, just tell me the date and place, and I'll buy you any meal you want.

Nora: Wait, WHAT?! I didn't win! I wasn't able to-

Y(N): You might have fallen over from the last weight, but you still managed to lift every other weight and that counts as a win in my book. Plus, you cheered me up today...and that counts as another win....(You turn and start walking away)....Tell the team I said "Hi".

Nora: Will do! (She gives you a wave) Bye Y(N)!!! Let's do this again sometime!

Y(N): (You stop for a moment and turn back to Nora) Heh...Yeah...I guess I could do something like this again...(You give a two-finger salute)...See ya around, Nora.

Nora: SEE YA!!!

As Nora continually waves goodbye, you walk away, feeling glad for the supportive friends you made in this world...

Y(N): Hmm...I wonder what kind of food they have in Atlas... Well, better not keep Glynda waiting...

You immediately sense Glynda's aura and teleport straight to her location...Scaring her in the process.

Glynda: GAH!!! (She fixes her glasses and gives you a stern look) Y(N), would you kindly refrain from appearing out of nowhere every time we meet?!

Y(N): Why would I do that? I like terrifying people by appearing out of nowhere. It never ceases to make my day.

Glynda: (Sighs) Well, at least try to keep it to a minimum. If you are not careful, you might one day give someone a heart attack.

Y(N): Bold of you to assume I already haven't....

Glynda: ....I'm not even going to ask what poor person you managed to scare to death....

Y(N): Good choice. The less you know, the better. (You gesture toward the bullhead) Shall we get going?

Glynda gives you a nod and makes her way onto the bullhead while you simply follow.

Time-Skip: Journey To Atlas Academy

Inside the bullhead, you were currently meditating once more as Glynda sat across from you. You were hoping that the ride to Atlas would be peaceful and quiet for once....However, you knew better than that and simply waited for Glynda to address the current situation.

Glynda: Y(N)?

Y(N): Yes, Professor?

Glynda: I hate to disturb you, but I was hoping you could answer a few questions before we arrive.

Y(N): (You open your eyes) Ask away.

Glynda: Professor Ozpin mentioned that the coming battle is going to be far more dangerous than anything Remnant has ever encountered. Are you absolutely sure that your battle won't simply destroy the planet in the process?

Y(N): You have no need to worry. I have already planned ahead, and I can assure you that your planet will be fine. However, I can not assure you that everyone will survive the coming war. Though, I will do everything in my power to prevent as many casualties as possible.

Glynda: That's good to know. Still, I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried. Don't get me wrong, I have the utmost faith in you and your abilities, it is just that... I can't help but be concerned.

Y(N): Well, I understand if you're concerned about the citizens of Remnant.

Glynda: You misunderstand...(You glance at Glynda in confusion)...I may be concerned about Remnant's inhabitants...However... I'm more concerned about you.

Y(N): ...Oh... (You gain a devilish smirk) I'm so glad my favorite teacher is worried about my well-being.

Glynda: I'm serious, Y(N)!

Y(N): So am I. You really are my favorite teacher. Mostly because I've come to enjoy your company.

Glynda's eyes widened for a second before she turned her head away to hide her small blush. Her sudden embarrassment caused you to chuckle. So you decided to tease her a bit.

Y(N): Aw, you are so cute when you're embarrassed.

Glynda: T-This is highly unprofessional! You s-shouldn't just say such embarrassing things!

Y(N): But it's so easy. Plus I like your reactions. (You suddenly get an idea) I wonder how Yang would react if I ever flirted back...Maybe she might get so flustered that it'll give me the chance to escape without her noticing! (You put your hand on your chin) Or it might backfire on me... Yeah, that's probably a bad idea...

Glynda: Do you even know how to flirt?

Y(N): You do realize that you're asking the oldest being in the multiverse...don't ya?

Glynda: That doesn't mean you know how to.

Y(N): Well, then you would be right. I admit that I have some trouble in the whole "flirt" and "love" environment. But, that's because I've never had the time to fully experience it. All my life I have moved from one place to another. Never staying in one universe for too long. All I know about love is what other people have described it to me as. Though, I admit that I have never felt it before in my entire living existence. All I've ever known is the need for battle. And in some ways, it fills up that gaping hole in my heart that yearns for a normal life.

Glynda: ...It sounds like you've lived a hard life.

Y(N): That may be true, but I'm not the only one, and I certainly won't be the last. Everyone, one day or another, will come across a mountain in their life. That mountain represents the hardships and struggles in life. And as difficult as it seems to climb, everyone will have to, one day or another. Yet sometimes, we become so focused on our own struggles, that we forget that others are struggling as well. We become so focused on progressing that mountain, that we forget to look back and see that others are climbing the same path that we did. However, any struggle can be overcome, as long as you are willing to keep going. And that mountain can be overcome far more easily...If only we just helped each other reach the top....You see, Glynda....We sometimes become so consumed by our trials and tribulations that we don't even realize a helping hand when we see one. We become so focused on our own problems, that we disregard any sign of help....And that is exactly what I did in the past. I climbed that mountain, and I ignored all those who tried to help me...and unlike most, I managed to reach the top, but at a high cost... I conquered my hardships, I conquered my mountain....alone....and at the cost of my own well-being. I spent such a long time focusing on that mountain...that I didn't even realize that everyone who tried to help me...was gone...and I was left all alone...with no way back. (You sigh tiredly) Well, I guess one good thing came out of it. I finally realized that others need help too, and that life is far better...with friends and family by your side...I just wish I realized that sooner...

Glynda: Y(N)...

Y(N): (You give Glynda a calm smile) Don't worry too much about it. I know I can be especially depressing sometimes, but thanks to my friends, I've learned to look more at the positive sides of life. It may take a while, but I think that I can be happy here...If I don't decide to leave of course. (You look out the window and observe the surroundings)

After a few moments of silence, Glynda decided to speak up...

Glynda: How do you do it?

Y(N): (You turn to Glynda as you notice her troubled look) Hmm?

Glynda: How do you continue living...even after everything you've been through? I'm pretty sure many would have given up a long time ago. So how do you continue saving and helping others, even when you know that not everything will last?

Y(N): ...Well, I got two reasons... The first is my brother, Yamoshi. He lived his life helping and saving others. And it didn't matter how painful his life was, he continued living for others, and never for himself. That's one of the main reasons I live to help others...It's my way of preserving what he taught me.

Glynda: Was your brother also a God?

Y(N): Well yes, but actually no.

Glynda: ...I don't quite follow...

Y(N): It's complicated. The entire explanation would only lead to more questions, so I won't answer it yet.

Glynda: Very well. What is your second reason?

Y(N): I don't have a choice.

Glynda: W-What? What do you mean by that?

Y(N): Every being, no matter how strong, will die one way or another. The Gods may have a longer life expectancy than mortals, but they can still be killed. That is not the case for me. As a Saiyan, I have no limits to my power. And I have lived long enough to reach that state and break every limit in my way to reach the absolute pinnacle of strength...Omni-Power...But, that power I achieved...Came at a high price... With never-ending power...Came a never-ending life.

Glynda: (Realizes what you are talking about) Y-You're...immortal?

Y(N): Immortal, Unkillable, Eternal, etc... I can never die...no matter what force attempts to strike me down... I will continue living even when the entire multiverse collapses.

Glynda: Is there no other way for you to pass on this "Omni-Power" or even get rid of it?

Y(N): Well...There is one way... However, I'm not even sure it will work.

Glynda: What is it?

Y(N): Not something you should be concerned about at this particular moment. And if I told you, you would never allow me to even consider it. I know, because Ozpin reacted terribly when I told him.

Glynda: ...I...I understand. Thank you for telling me about yourself anyways. I'm glad I got to know more about you.

Y(N): You know about me, but I don't know much about you. Mind if I ask you a few questions myself?

Glynda: I don't mind.

You gain an evil smirk that immediately causes Glynda to regret her decision.

Y(N): You got a boyfriend, a romantic partner, or perhaps you're already married?

Glynda: W-WHAT?! NO...! No, I don't have any of those!

Y(N): How come? Are you not looking for a committed and romantic relationship?

Glynda: (Crosses her arms) I don't know if you noticed, but I don't have time to pursue a relationship. I have more important things to deal with!

Y(N): It's not like you are overlooking and protecting the multiverse like I used to. You're constantly around other people. Are you saying that you don't have any time at all to just relax and go on a date?

Glynda: I'm saying that I don't have time to look for a suitable suitor to date.

Y(N): Have you ever tried looking for a date?

Glynda: (Leans back into her seat) ...Yes...I have...Yet none of them last very long...Every man I've dated has either run off or chosen to ignore me every time they see me...All because...

Glynda pauses and has a hard time answering, and you notice her dejected look as she turns her head away.

Y(N): All because you want a serious relationship.

Glynda turns to you with a surprised expression, as you simply gave her a calm smile.

Y(N): I think I understand. You can stop me if I'm wrong though.... You are not looking for a simple date to have fun and take your mind off work, or a relationship that will last for a few weeks or a few months. You're looking for a committed relationship that will last. A relationship that will grow stronger and eventually result in...marriage. And I'm guessing most guys you've met don't really want that...do they?

Glynda: U-Uh....Y-Yes...You are correct. (She sighs) I want something that lasts...not something that can be used and thrown away as if it was nothing.... They always tell me that I'm too stern and that my personality is far too difficult to deal with... And that's why I stopped trying to get into a relationship... I guess that's why I'll never get married.

Y(N): Nah, that's just cause nobody got any taste in women.

Glynda: H-Huh?!

Y(N): (You look out the window again) Those men you dated must have been very stupid if they never considered giving an amazing woman like you a chance for a serious relationship. Every relationship has its up and downs, but I know someone like you wouldn't give up on your loved one so easily. I mean, if I was a human, I would probably have fallen head over heels for you. And though you may be a bit strict and stern, I would have found a way to love you nevertheless, because your good traits will always surpass your bad ones.

You look back at Glynda as she completely turned red from your little speech. She quickly turns away again as you stared in confusion.

Y(N): Are you alright? I hope I didn't upset you in any way.

Glynda: Y-Y-You...always say the m-most embarrassing things!

Y(N): Sorry...I didn't mean to embarrass you...this time at least.

You quietly chuckle to yourself as both of you sit in silence for the rest of the ride...As Glynda occasionally glanced at you from time to time, but every time you looked at her, she would always turn away...

Time-Skip: Arrival At Atlas Academy

As the bullhead landed on the landing docks, you noticed the surrounding area looked very militaristic and advanced. And as you and Glynda exited the bullhead, you immediately sensed many people in the Academy. Now, usually, you would just talk to Ironwood and get the mission over with, but you decided to try out their food first.

Glynda: Now that we're here, we are supposed to meet James in his office.

Y(N): Yeah, you go on ahead. (You start walking away) I'll meet you there.

Glynda: Where are you going?! We are supposed to-

Y(N): I'm going to get some food. And if I don't eat, then I'm going to be very grumpy for the rest of the day.

Glynda: You don't even know your way around the Academy!

Y(N): I'll just follow the scent of food. (You wave while walking away) See ya later.

Glynda realized she wasn't going to change your mind, so she just sighed in annoyance and walked away.

A Few Minutes Later

Observing the prestigious Academy, you realized it is far more different than Beacon. And as you were walking, a few students wearing the Atlas uniform started whispering and occasionally glanced in your direction. But, you just simply gave them a glare that sent them running off.

Y(N): (You smell the different scents around the area) All I can smell is the residue of gunpowder and the burning of metal.... No wonder I couldn't smell any food around here... It's like this entire place is filled to the brim with weapons and rocket fuel. (You cover your nose in disgust) They really need to plant some trees around here.

???: (From behind you) LOOK OUT!!! COMING THROUGH!!!

Y(N): Hmm?

You turn around as a mysterious person slams right into you and falls backward on the ground, while you didn't even budge.

???: (Puts her arm on her head) OWWWW!!!

You notice the orange-haired girl who slammed into you was a faunus...and she was apparently wearing roller skates.

Y(N): Are you okay?

???: Did I just crash into a mountain?! (She looks up at you) Oh...a very cute mountain if I may say so myself~

Y(N): .....

You just stare at the girl with a monotone expression as she gave you a wide smile and quickly picked herself off the ground.

???: (She points a finger at you) Hey, you must be that scary person everyone's been talking about!

Y(N): And you must be that irresponsible girl who just crashed into me....

???: Hehe, sorry about that! (She stares at your uniform) You're definitely not from Atlas. So, where did you come from?

Y(N): Beacon Academy.

???: WHAAAT?! What are you doing here of all places?!

Y(N): I'm meeting with your headmaster.

???: The headmaster?

Y(N): Yes, the one with the prosthetic arm and the-

???: Yeah, Yeah, I know! Oh, how rude of me, I didn't introduce myself yet! I'm Neon!

Y(N): I'm Y(N).

You notice Neon staring strangely at you the moment you mentioned your name.

Neon: Did you just say your name was...Y(N)?

Y(N): That is correct.

Neon immediately gives off an excited smile as you give her a confused expression.

Neon: THE Y(N)!!! THE SOLE MEMBER OF TEAM OMNI! THE ONE WHO BEAT RENOWNED CHAMPION PYRRHA NIKOS AND KILLED OFF AN ARMY OF GRIMM SINGLE-HANDENDLY!!! THAT Y(N)?!

Y(N): Why are you yelling?

Neon: CAUSE I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Y(N): Good for you. (You turn around) I'm leaving now, bye.

You start walking away hoping that Neon would just leave you alone...Unfortunately, you were wrong...

Neon: (Skates right next to you) Going somewhere?

Y(N): Yeah, away from you.

Neon just giggles and skates right in front of you with a smile.

Y(N): Do you need something?

Neon: Is it true?! Did you really beat Pyrrha Nikos?!

Y(N): If I said no, would you believe me?

Neon: Nope!

Y(N): ...What do you want?

Neon: (Puts her hand on her chin) You don't look very strong, and you definitely don't seem like an unbeatable opponent. But, you might be more than you appear...I guess there's only one way to find out...

Y(N): What are you talking about?

Neon: (She chuckles and points a finger at you) I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL!

Suddenly, everything went quiet. Every student stopped walking and devoted their attention to the sudden request that Neon yelled.

Y(N): .....

Neon: ....What's wrong? Scared to fight a girl? Hehe...Don't worry, I'll go easy on you. I might even decide to fight you without a weapon!

Y(N): I refuse your duel.

Many of the students sighed in disappointment and continued on their way as Neon had a surprised look on her face.

Neon: Huh?

You just walk past Neon as she stood frozen for a few seconds.

Neon: H-Hey! Wait up!

Y(N): I don't have time to pick fights right now.

She quickly skates in front of you again, and you just simply sighed in annoyance at her persistence.

Neon: Come on! Don't be a chicken! You don't have to be afraid to fight me, I promise that I won't hurt you.

Y(N): Neon, currently I have no reason to fight you. So don't give me a reason....

Neon: (Stifles a laugh) Oh, please! Just because the rumors say you're strong, doesn't mean that you are all-powerful. I mean, let's face it! You kinda look like a chi-

Y(N): ゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴゴ

Your menacing stare immediately shut Neon up as she froze in utter fear. And while she was distracted by your terrifying gaze, you took this chance to walk away before she noticed you were gone.

Y(N): Damn it... Now my appetite is ruined...Guess it's time to go see how the General is doing...

Meanwhile With Glynda

In General Ironwood's office, Glynda stood across from Ironwood as his second in command Winter Schnee stood by his side.

Ironwood: Ozpin mentioned that both you and...Y(N) were supposed to be here. Did you run into any trouble on the way here, or did he decide to not come at all?

Glynda: Y(N) said he was going to be here shortly. He's most likely just exploring the premise.

Winter: (Turns to Ironwood) Shall I find and bring him here, General?

Y(N): That won't be necessary.

Everyone quickly turns to the sound of the voice to see you sitting in a chair without a care in the world.

Y(N): (You notice Winter grip her duel swords) Careful little girl, I can assure you that I can kill you before you even pull out your weapons.

Winter: (Gives you an icy glare) Would you like to test that theory?

Ironwood: Winter, stand down.

Winter hesitantly releases the grip on her weapons as you simply smirk and stand from your chair.

Y(N): Am I late?

Glynda: You made it just in time.

Y(N): That's good. (You look at Ironwood) Hello, James.

Winter: That's General Ironwood to you! Show some respect!

Y(N): (You turn to Winter with a smirk) Ah, you must be Winter Schnee. Your sister mentioned you before.

Winter: ...You...know my sister?

Y(N): Well, considering I share a room with her and we have talked-

Winter: You share a room together?! Why would Weiss ever associate herself with a boy like you?!

Ironwood: Calm yourself down, Winter. I won't ask again.

Winter: (Bows her head) I apologize, General.

Ironwood: Now, can we finally discuss what we came here for?

Y(N): Do we have to discuss confidential information with "Ice Princess" in the room?

Winter: (Turns to you with a glare) ...What did you call me?

Y(N): Do you have snow in your ears, or are you pretending to act stupid?

Winter: Why you little...!

Y(N): Yo James, did you tell her about me?

Ironwood: No, I did not. I figured you would tell her yourself.

Glynda: We also don't want to divulge your secrets without your permission.

Y(N): That's good to know. But, enough people know my secret, and I don't trust "Ice Princess" with the information I'm planning on discussing.

Winter prepares to scold you, but Ironwood manages to speak up before she does.

Ironwood: I can assure you that an individual such as yourself can trust Winter. She's my most loyal and discreet soldier, and I would trust her with my own life. She's worked with me for many years, and she has the most sophisticated training to help accomplish your goals.

Winter: (Bows her head again) Thank you for your kind words, General.

Y(N): Hmm... She doesn't seem like much to me. I mean, even her posture looks quite silly if you ask me.

Winter gasps with an angered tone as you simply smirked.

Glynda: Then how about you test her, Y(N).

Everyone turns their attention to Glynda as you knew exactly what she was talking about.

Y(N): That could work...

Ironwood: What sort of test are you talking about?

Glynda: The only way Y(N) would be willing to trust Winter with his secret, is if she proves herself worthy enough.

Y(N): Well, since I'm capable of figuring out if a person is lying and finding out their true motives on a particular subject...I'm sort of thinking about an interrogation trial.

Ironwood: (Considers your idea) ....That sounds like a reasonable idea.

Glynda: Hmm, that could prove her loyal enough to join your cause.

Winter: (Scoffs) Why should I have to prove myself to this child?

Both Glynda and Ironwood freeze in utter shock and slowly turn their heads toward you...

Y(N): Trial Of Combat It Is Then...Heh-Heh-Heh...

Ironwood: (Sighs in sadness) Well, it was nice knowing you, Winter. I'll miss you very much...

Winter: G-General?

Glynda: Your sacrifice won't be in vain, Ms. Schnee. And at least you'll go down fighting...

Winter: W-What are you two talking about?!

Y(N): Let's get this party started!

Scene Change: Atlas Battle Arena

Standing across from each other, Y(N) and Winter prepare to have a certified duel in Atlas' main battle arena. Both Glynda and Ironwood stand side by side to observe the fight. And unfortunately, the Atlas students caught wind of the situation and were now watching the fight.

Y(N): In this match, the rules don't apply like they regularly do. And if you want, you can even ask the students to help you in this fight. They may even help you win this fight, all you have to do is ask for their help.

Winter: I am more than capable of handling you alone.

Atlas Male Student #1: GOOOOO WINTER!!!

Atlas Female Student #1: SHOW HIM WHAT ATLAS IS CAPABLE OF!!!

Glynda: I don't think having a crowd is a good idea.

Ironwood: Nonsense, Glynda. This will allow them to observe and learn from a certified warrior. And honestly, I am curious to see how Y(N) will handle Winter.

Glynda: If he doesn't decide to kill her that is...

Ironwood: Do you really think he will?

Glynda: ...We'll find out soon enough...

Many of the students cheered for Winter, but she simply put her hand up and every student quieted down in an instant....She looks at you with an icy glare and pulls out her weapon...While you simply stared back with a monotone expression.

Y(N): You seem pretty popular if every student wants to see you fight.

Winter: What is the point of all this? Why should I have to fight you?

Y(N): Consider this my way of seeing if you're capable of handling what is to come.... And if you pass my test, then I will consider you trustworthy enough to tell my secret....However...if you fail...then consider your life forfeit in the coming battle.

Winter: (Assumes a battle position) I'm not planning on losing here.

Y(N): Then fight me with all you have.

On a monitored screen, Winter's aura levels are shown, as your aura level remains empty. This causes a few confused conversations in the crowd.

Atlas Female Student #2: He doesn't have an aura! How is that possible?!

Atlas Male Student #2: He probably just thinks that he can win without one. (Scoffs) What a cocky bastard!

You sent an immediate glare at the crowd that immediately shut them all up.

Winter: You must be incredibly full of yourself if you think you can win without activating your aura.

Y(N): (You turn towards Winter and smirk) I know you're talking, but all I hear from you is "Blah, Blah, Blah".

Winter: I'll wipe that cocky smile off your face!

Y(N): Are you seriously still talking? What are you trying to do, talk me to death?

Winter: (Readies her weapon) I've heard enough!

She lunges at you with her sword, only for you to sidestep out of the way. And reacting quickly, Winter unleashes a multitude of quick stabs in your direction, only for you to dodge all of them with ease.

Y(N): Too slow. (You dodge another attack) Sloppy footwork. (You dodge a swift sword slash) I've seen children fight better than you.

Winter: That's enough!

And with a quick grunt, she pulls her sword back and performs a very fast stab aimed at your torso, but you immediately stop her weapon with just your finger.

Winter: (In shock) What?!

Y(N): You're not dealing with the average huntsmen-in-training anymore.

You slowly move your finger forward, causing Winter to move and slide backward as every student is in utter surprise at your display of power.

Atlas Male Student #3: W-With just his finger?!

Atlas Female Student #3: How is that even possible?! His aura isn't even activated!

Y(N): (You lower your hand) Either you take this fight seriously or I'm going to end it here.

Realizing she had no other option, Winter quickly jumps back and pulls out another sword as she prepares to activate her semblance and summoning skill.

Winter: You're a lot stronger than I first realized, and I have to commend you on that. And not only are you incredibly agile, but you seem to be very strong as well, even without an aura...

Y(N): You should probably know that I haven't even begun to take this fight seriously.

Winter: (Thinking) What?! He hasn't even been trying this entire time?! ....He definitely isn't normal, no one is capable of being so strong without an aura! ....I guess I have to take it up a notch!

You notice Winter close her eyes as she lights up in a white and icy blue aura. Underneath her feet, a glyph appears as a multitude of white baby Nevermore's appear and surround Winter in a protective manner as she slowly opens her eyes and prepares to fight with all of her strength and might.

Y(N): Heh, this will be fun.... (Thinking) Summoning....Just like her ancestor....I never thought I would see this semblance again....

The Crowd Of Students: WINTER, WINTER, WINTER!!!

The students once again cheered for Winter by chanting her name, as Glynda and Ironwood observed in silence...

Winter: (Notices your look) You don't seem surprised by my semblance. Why is that?

Y(N): Well, you're not the first one who fought me with this semblance.

Winter: ....What do you mean by that? The Schnee family are the only ones who possess this semblance, there is no one else that-

Y(N): Don't concern yourself too much with what I said... Just get ready...Because I'm actually planning to attack this time.

Winter: ...Very well... But, I won't go down so easily!

The multitude of small Nevermores fly into the sky and prepare an aerial assault as they surround you.

Y(N): Such annoying pests.

The Nevermores launch themselves at you preparing a full-scale attack, but you simply snapped your fingers and created a powerful shock-wave that instantly shattered every Nevermore that surrounded you.

Winter: (Astonished) T-That's not possible! No one can be that strong!

Y(N): (Slowly approaching Winter) No one? ...You don't get to decide that... I do...

Winter realizes she has no other option, so she quickly summons two full-grown Beowolves and sends them to attack you.

Y(N): (You sigh) If this is all you have....(The two Beowolves lunge at you, however, you simply sent a Ki wave that instantly cut both of the summonings in half) ....You definitely won't survive the coming war.

Winter freezes in place at your display, as every student watching has completely quieted down...And waiting for your next move...

Ironwood: (Watches in interest) What is he even testing her for? I don't understand why he chose to fight Winter if he knew she wasn't going to win.

Glynda: ...James...Don't forget that Y(N) has more fighting experience than anyone here...That means he knows better than anyone, that not every battle can be won...alone... Just trust Winter enough to pass his test...

Ironwood: ...Very well...

The entire arena was quiet as only your footsteps were heard...As you walked towards Winter...

Y(N): What else have you got? By the way, I am not impressed so far.

Winter snaps out of her daze and charges at you. She performs simultaneous duel sword attacks as you instantaneously dodged her precise attacks. She displayed great skill with her weapons, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough.

Winter: Don't underestimate me just yet! I won't give-

Before she could finish, you sent a sidekick straight at her gut. This attack caused her entire aura to break as she flew back to the edge of the arena.

Atlas Female Student #4: ...Did...Did Winter just...lose?

Atlas Male Student #4: I t-think so...Her entire aura just shattered...with one blow...

You notice Winter slowly stand as she held her gut while inhaling and exhaling...She slowly looked at you as she used one of her swords to help her stand.

Winter: (Grunts in pain) I...I guess...I lost... (She looks down) I'm sorry...General...I failed you...

Y(N): If you think that just because your aura is gone the battle is done, then you are very wrong. This isn't a fight for victory, it's a fight for survival!

Winter raises her head as everyone seems to be confused by what you said.

Winter: (Glares at you) What...are you talking about?

Y(N): You should already know that in a real battle, you would never just give up because your aura is gone. You would continue fighting until the enemy is defeated or you are killed. If you give up, then you are only abandoning everything you sought to fight and train for. Fighting is one thing...Not giving up on a fight is another. So don't assume that you're done because your aura is gone.

Ironwood: I'll be honest...I am very confused right now.

Glynda: Just stay quiet and watch.

Y(N): Keep fighting...Or you will lose more than just your life.

Winter: (Slowly stands and faces you) I...I can barely stand! How am I supposed to continue fighting?!

Y(N): (You give a dark stare that scares Winter) ...Figure it out... (You create a dark Ki orb and aim it at the students) ...Or I'm Going To Kill Everyone Here...Starting With The Students...

Your sudden voice change and threat immediately terrified and caused a multitude of fearful gasps as the students started panicking.

Winter: (Stares at you with wide eyes) DON'T BRING THEM INTO THIS! THIS FIGHT IS BETWEEN ME AND YOU!

Y(N): Then get over here and fight me. You have ten seconds...

Winter tries to walk towards you, but instead, she falls on her knees and holds her gut as she figures out that she is in no shape to fight or even stand at this point.

Winter: I...I can't do it! ...I can't save them! What am I supposed to do?!

Y(N): Times up. (You prepare to launch the Ki blast)

Winter: NO!

???: Oh no you don't!

You immediately sense someone quickly approaching your direction from behind, as you ducked just in time to avoid a pair of nun-chunks as the mysterious person skated right next to Winter.

Winter: W-Who are you?!

You quickly stand upright as you recognize the person who almost hit you.

Y(N): Well, this is a surprise....

Neon: (Gives a quick salute to Winter) Neon Katt, reporting for duty!

Winter: What are you doing here?!

Neon: Lending a hand. (She faces you and smirks) Plus, I've been waiting to fight this guy since I met him!

Winter: This is my fight, not yours! Get out while you still have the chance!

Neon: (Thinks for a second) Nah, I'd rather fight.

Winter: WHAT?! You don't stand a chance!

Neon: (Prepares her weapon as it glows with different colors) Maybe not...But, I can't just let you fight alone. We all need help from time to time, so I'm here to do my part!

Y(N): One faunus won't be enough to take me down.

Random Student: Then how about another one?!

A student quickly gets on the platform and stands next to Neon...Followed by more and more...

Random Student #2: We are not going to just let you hurt them and get away with it!

Y(N): They started it.

Random Student #3: Then we'll finish it!

Winter was quite amazed as more and more students joined the fray as they stood by her side ready to fight, even when they had no weapons.

Winter: Why? Why are you all here?!

Neon: We are here to help, dummy. You obviously can't take him on in your current condition.

Y(N): (You notice the number of students who joined) Why fight when you stand no chance?

Random Student #4: You mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!

Random Student #5: We are so gonna die...

Winter looks at everyone who was willing to help her...and then she finally realized...what she had been missing from the start...

Winter: (Thinking) This....fight...It wasn't meant to be fought alone... I think... I think I get it now... (She picks herself up and stands on her feet) I may not be fit for fighting right now... but, everyone else is... and they are more than willing to fight with me...

Y(N): Are all of you really going to try and fight me? ...(You look at Winter) Are you really willing to let others fight your battles?

Winter: Not every battle can be fought alone! I didn't get it at first, but I do now! I made the mistake of fighting you alone when I could have asked others to help me... (She looks at the students) Students! Can you help me win this fight?!

Crowd Of Students: (Turn their attention to Winter) Yes Ma'am!

Winter: I'm in no condition to fight or help any of you. Will you still lend me your strength?

Neon: Well, duh! We wouldn't be here otherwise!

Crowd Of Students: We won't let you down!

Winter manages to smile for just a second before she turned her attention back to you.

Winter: Then let us show this newcomer what happens when he messes with the best warriors that Atlas has ever trained!

Every student turns to you and assumes their battle positions...As a dark aura surrounds your entire body and a massive Ki blade is created from your hand, causing a few students to gulp in fear...

Random Student #5: Yup, we are so gonna die.

Winter: Stand strong everyone! We can do this!

Suddenly your entire aura and Ki blade disappeared and you started clapping as every student looked at you in sudden confusion.

Y(N): Subarashii. (You continue clapping)

Neon: HUH?! What did you just say?! And why are you clapping?

Glynda: Because... (Everyone turns to see Glynda and Ironwood approaching) ...You all passed.

Ironwood: Apparently, Y(N) wasn't just testing Winter, he was also testing all of you.

Winter: ....I don't understand.

Neon: (Scratches the back of her head) Yeah, me neither.

Random Student #3: What is going on right now?!

Y(N): Winter passed my test by proving that she was capable of trusting and relying on others, and the rest of you proved that you were capable of standing strong, even when faced with an unbeatable opponent. And for that, all of you here have earned my respect, and proven you are ready for what is to come.

Random Student #6: Uh, what is coming exactly?

Random Student #7: Man, I really need to go to the bathroom right now...

Ironwood: I will explain everything in due time. As of now...I am more than proud of all of you today. It is an honor to call myself your General and Headmaster.

Ironwood salutes and then gives a respectful nod as everyone murmured in surprise and shock.

Y(N): Now...(You glance at Winter) I believe some answers are in order.

Time-Skip: Back To Ironwoods Office

After the stressful situation that just occurred, Ironwood sent the students to rest for the day; while you healed Winter, much to her surprise, and headed back to the Ironwoods office and explained the situation to everyone, including the part about being a God to Winter...

Winter: (Crosses her arms) Y-You're...a God? (You nod) Well, that explains why you were so strong....

Ironwood: Now since that's out of the way, how are we supposed to prepare for what's coming next?

Y(N): You let me deal with that. All you have to do is be ready for a war unlike any other Remnant has ever experienced. I'll handle the main problem, you handle the minor ones. And if everything goes as planned, then your planet will be saved.

Glynda: At this point, we are running out of options, so all we can do now is let Y(N) handle the rest.

Ironwood: I see... Well, I'll be honest... Not knowing when your enemy will show up worries me. Y(N), are you absolutely sure you are capable of handling this enemy yourself?

Y(N): Yes. And I mean no offense, but all of you will only get in my way if you try and help me. Just focus on the Grimm, and everything will be fine.

Glynda: Professor Ozpin will contact you when it's time to initiate the plan. Just be ready, because we don't know when this war will start.

Ironwood: (Sighs and turns to Winter) I know it's a lot to take in, but will you be ready when the time comes?

Winter: (Without hesitation) I won't let you down. I will do everything in my power to protect the citizens of Remnant.

Ironwood: (Slightly smiles) I'm glad to hear that.

Glynda: (Turns to you) Now since that's settled, we should probably head back to Beacon.

Y(N): Yeah, I really need to eat soon too.

Ironwood: Then why not stay for a while and enjoy what Atlas has to offer? We actually have quite the spectacular meals here.

Y(N): Well, I would need a guide to help me grow more accustomed to the area.

Ironwood: Winter can help with that.

Winter: Wait...what?

Ironwood: Winter, would you be so kind as to show Y(N) the premise of our glorious Academy?

Winter: (She hesitates for a second) I...I have no issues with that, but wouldn't it be better if Professor Goodwitch showed him around instead?

Ironwood: I actually have something to discuss with Glynda. So, the best option would be to rely on you.

Winter: (Sighs) As you wish, General. (Walks toward the door and gestures for you to follow) Let's just get this over with.

Y(N): I wonder what kind of food they have here...I hope it's good.

Winter: Don't get your hopes up.

Y(N): Very well. If the food is not good, I'm going to destroy this entire continent.

Winter: WHAT?!

Y(N): Just kidding... Or Am I?

Scene Change: The Streets Of Atlas Academy

As you and Winter walked through the Academy, you noticed more areas that you didn't see when you first came here. Thankfully, Winter seems to be a good tour guide.

Winter: Before we go any further...(You glance at her)...Can I ask you something?

Y(N): Go ahead. I may be a God, but that doesn't mean you need my permission to ask me a question.

Winter: You mentioned that you know my sister... Can you tell me how she is doing?

Y(N): Weiss is fine. She has an amazing team that accepts her for both her faults and good traits. And though she may have seemed cold at first, I'm more than glad to call her my friend.

Winter: (Slightly smiles) That's good to hear... Well, then I guess I should thank you for taking care of my sister.

Y(N): There is no need for that. I would have done it regardless if she was my friend or not.

Winter: (Glances curiously at you) Why is that? I didn't realize that God's cared so much for mortals.

Y(N): Until today, you didn't even know that Gods even existed.

Winter: (Smirks) True... But, I always had a feeling that there was more out there...

Y(N): Human curiosity knows no bounds.... Oh, and to answer your question... I'm one of the few Gods that actually care about the well-being of those less powerful than myself. Plus, I've always considered mortals to be quite interesting. It doesn't matter how, and it doesn't matter why, but you mortals always seem to figure out how to thrive in the most hopeless of situations. And the most hopeful of all mortals...are humans. Your kind has always managed to survive, even in the most direst of circumstances. Even when you are dragged through wars and death, you always manage to prosper in the end... Heh, your kind is far stronger than you realize...

Winter: ...Is that why you came here to Remnant, to observe us?

Y(N): Not at all, I came here because I was bored. And I thought I could find something fulfilling here.

Winter: And did you?

Y(N): No...Not yet at least.

Winter: I don't know if it's my place to say this....However, I know that Remnant has its fair share of problems, but I know you will find what you are looking for here.

Y(N): How can you be so sure?

Winter: (Smirks) Call it a hunch.

Y(N): (Sighs) That is not reassuring.... You know, I just realized that you and your sister are very alike.

Winter: Hmm, in what way?

Y(N): You both act cold and irritated at everything, and you both think that you could win any fight by yourselves...But, I saw how you managed to rely on others today, just as Weiss has learned to rely on her team. And just like Weiss, you have a very warm and kind smile.

Winter: W-What?! When did you see me smile?! (She crosses her arms)

Y(N): Back when the students were willing to help you. And even though it was just for a second, I noticed your smile...And it reminded me of your sister.

Winter: ...Uh... (Quickly straightens up) Well, don't get used to it! I'm not planning on smiling again!

Y(N): Whatever you say, "Ice Princess".

Winter: (Visibly annoyed) Stop calling me that!

Y(N): I'm a God... I can call you whatever I want... Or you could beat me in a fight and force me to stop.

Winter: (Sighs in defeat) How does my sister put up with you?

Y(N): No idea. To be honest, I have no idea how anyone can put up with me.

Winter: At least we agree on something.

Y(N): Wow, you really are as cold as your sister.

Winter: Keep calling me "Ice Princess", and I'll show you just how cold I can really be.

Y(N): ...Did you just...subtly threaten me...? ...Heh, at least you are braver than most. I'm actually surprised to see someone like you can handle my secret so well. Seems like you're more than meets the eye.

Winter: Is that a compliment?

Y(N): More of an acknowledgment than a compliment.

You both continue walking as you glance at all the students in the area.

Winter: So, if you're a God, how old are you?

Y(N): Old enough to see Universes form and to see them erased from existence. I don't have an exact number, because, in my early years, I didn't really pay attention to my age.

Winter: What exactly did you do in your early years? (You pause for a moment and Winter notices your disturbed expression) ...Sorry, I didn't mean to-

Y(N): Don't worry. (You sigh) All you have to know...Is that I wasn't always like this.

Winter: What, powerful, invincible?

Y(N): Calm...Composed...And willing to protect others. There was a time...when I hated all mortals...and I wanted nothing more than to see them suffer... I may protect those weaker than me, but a long time ago...that wasn't the case. Many years ago, I used to annihilate entire planets and universes just for the fun of it... And many died as a result.... More than I could ever begin to count....

Winter: ....Well...I'm glad to see that you're not like that anymore.

Y(N): (You look at Winter in confusion) How can you be so calm after all I just said?

Winter: Because I can see that you are not as terrible as you say you were. With your strength and power, you had every opportunity to destroy or conquer Remnant, but you didn't. You're here making sure that no one dies during the coming war. And if you are truly here to protect Remnant, then that's good enough for me.

Y(N): That means a lot to me...Thank you...Winter. I was wrong to call you cold...Because I see now that you are just as heartwarming and kind as your sister.

You give her a kind and bright smile that unfortunately caused Winter to slightly blush.

Winter: (Quickly turns away) D-Don't get used to it! It's not like I said it because I like you! So don't make such a big deal out of it!

Y(N): (You chuckle) I can see the family resemblance now. You're all a bunch of Tsunderes.

Winter: (Icy glare activates) What...Did...You...Call...Me...? (She clenches her fists)

Y(N): (Oblivious to the situation) Hmm, I did say tsundere, did I not? Yeah, you're all a bunch of icy tsunderes.

Winter: That's it! (Pulls out her weapon) I don't care if you are a God, I'm going to make you regret ever being bor-

You instantly created a portal under Winter as she fell back to Ironwood's office.

Y(N): I should do that more often. Well, time to get some food before I destroy all of Atlas.

Time-Skip: Walk Back To The Bullhead

After satisfying yourself to your bottomless stomach's content, you decided to head back to the bullhead and see if Glynda was ready to head back to Beacon. And since you ate quite a bit, you were in no mood to use your abilities to get back to Beacon Academy.

Y(N): (Walking at a reasonable pace) I'm tired and I wanna go home...I'm tired and I wanna go home...

Quietly singing a small tune, you were calmly walking across the sidewalk...Until you heard a familiar voice from behind you.

Neon: Y(N)!!!

Y(N): (Calmly starts fast walking) Nope, that's not me!

Before you could escape, Neon who was once again in her roller-skates, skates right beside you with a bright smile.

Neon: It is futile to run!

Y(N): You're lucky I'm in no mood to use my abilities.

Neon: (Pouts in disappointment) Awwww, I really wanted to fight you! I didn't even get the chance back in the arena.

Y(N): You should already know that fighting me is an impossible task.

Neon: Who cares?! Because I definitely don't! Fighting a stronger opponent is always the best way to go!

Y(N): And why is that?

Neon: You can never improve by fighting weaker opponents! If you strive to be strong, then you have to be willing to face those you are no match for! Only then can you improve and reach towards greater fights!

Y(N): Heh, I like the way you think Neon.

Neon: Awww, you remembered my name! I'm so touched!

Y(N): How could I forget the crazy lady who crashed into me and the one who almost smacked me with nun-chucks?

Neon: (Chuckles nervously) Hehehe...

Y(N): But, I'm honestly quite glad that you did.

Neon: Huh? (She glances at you curiously)

Y(N): You somehow figured out that I was the so-called "Unbeatable" student from Beacon, and even with that knowledge, you were still willing to pick a fight with me. And back in the arena, you saw what I did to Winter, and yet you were the first to take action and stand strong alongside her. You were faced with an impossible fight, but that didn't stop you from protecting everyone else. And thanks to you, everyone else had the courage to stand against me. Everyone was willing to fight, all because you were willing to....So, even though I may seem a bit harsh towards you, I can officially say that you are the strongest and bravest student I met since coming to Atlas.

Neon just stared at you with wide eyes as her cheeks turned red. You even waved your hand in front of her, and she didn't respond.

Y(N): Uh, hello. Anyone home? (You snap your fingers and that brings her back to reality)

Neon: Uh, s-sorry... (She fidgets with her fingers and looks down) No one....has ever said anything like that to me.... T-Thank you...Y(N)... Thank you so much.

Y(N): Well, you're welcome. Anyways, I have to go now. Maybe we might even see each other again.

You give a two-finger wave and turn around to start walking away. But, Neon quickly used her skates to move in front of you before you walked away.

Y(N): Is something wrong?

Neon: N-No! It's just that...(She pauses for a moment)...I, um, it's just that... I w-wanted...to ask...i-if you...um...

Seeing Neon turn from a hyperactive girl to a very timid and shy confused you, but you decided not to ask any questions.

Y(N): Neon, if you still want to fight me, then let's exchange scroll numbers and arrange a certain day. Though, you'll probably have to wait until after the Vytal Festival.

Neon: O-Oh...T-That's no problem...I guess... (She quickly gives you a smile) Sure, let's do that!

You and Neon exchanged scroll numbers, and you had a feeling she wanted to say something else, but you didn't press into the matter.

Y(N): Well, I guess this is goodbye.

Neon: Make sure not to miss me too much~ (She gives you a wink)

Y(N): Yeah, okay, whatever you say...

With a wave, Neon uses her skates and zooms away from view as you simply smirked and turned to walk away.

Y(N): What an interesting cat faunus... She's like the polar opposite of Blake...

Time-Skip: Going Back To Beacon

Once again sitting in the bullhead, you noticed that Glynda had been very quiet since you last talked to her. You even wondered what Ironwood discussed with her... You looked at her as she had had her head down as if she was deeply lost in thought...

Y(N): Professor, are you okay? (You didn't get an answer) Hey, I'm planning on destroying Remnant. (Still no answer) I'm the reason your moon is cracked.... I once accidentally killed Ozpin by scaring him to death.... I'm the reason that the Schnee's are so rich and popular nowadays.... I once trained Jaune's ancestors to fight Grimm.... I even taught humans how to use the silver eyes....

Glynda: .....

Y(N): (Astonished) Wow, she is really lost in thought.... (You think for a moment and get an idea) ....Hey, Glynda. I'm getting married.

Glynda: (She quickly looks at you in utter shock) YOU'RE WHAT?! You're g-getting married?!

Y(N): No, that was a lie to get your attention. Though, I am curious as to why you reacted to that one out of all the other things I said. How suspicious...

You notice Glynda blush as she stuttered and couldn't seem to give you a straight answer.

Glynda: W-Well, it's j-just that... I m-mean, it w-would be ....U-Umm, actually-

Y(N): ...Glynda.... What did Ironwood say to you while I was gone?

Glynda: ....Nothing important! It has nothing to do with you, so don't concern yourself about it! (She turns away) W-We were just talking about the upcoming Vytal Festival, that's all.

Y(N): ...You should know better than to try and lie to me... At least have the decency to look at me while lying...

Glynda sighs sadly and slowly turn back to you...

Glynda: ...We...We talked...about...(She groans in defeat) I'm sorry. I didn't know it would be this hard to say...

Y(N): Then don't force yourself. I'm not commanding you to answer or anything. So, if what you and Ironwood discussed was private, then you don't have to tell me...Especially if it doesn't involve me.

Glynda: ...Y(N)...It does involve you.

Y(N): Maybe so, but that doesn't mean anything. If it's really hard for you to say, then take your time and don't force yourself to tell me. I'm more than willing to wait until you're ready to tell me.

Glynda: ...You're always so understanding... Thank you, Y(N).

Y(N): Yeah, no problem. Just don't let it bug you too much.

For a few moments, both you and Glynda sat in silence before she spoke up...

Glynda: Y(N), did you really mean it?

Y(N): Huh, mean what?

Glynda: What you said earlier today... That...if you were human...you would have fallen...in love with me...regardless if I acted harshly towards you...

Y(N): Yes, without a doubt.

Your answer once again caused Glynda to blush, but this time...she didn't try to hide it...

Glynda: I have one more question....(You glance at Glynda as she shyly looked at you)....Since you're not human...or even mortal....Would you still give someone like me a chance to fall in love with?

Y(N): ....That's not something I can easily answer....

Glynda: (Sighs) I figured... Sorry for asking.

Y(N): Don't be. Listen, as much as I don't like it, people actually consider me a good person... But, I've never seen myself as one...And ever since my brother's death, I have done nothing but blame my own actions for what happened...I used my pain to push me forward to new heights, and even when I achieved Omni-Power, I still saw myself as nothing more than worthless...And I've had that mentality for a very long time...But, ever since I came here, that part of me is slowly being forgotten...But, not completely...I've experienced many emotions, however, the one emotion I have yet to feel...is the one of emotional and unwavering love...The love for the one I want to spend the rest of my life with...And as you already know...That's not possible, because I will only outlive everyone...

Glynda: Why, why you? Why are you the one who has to live such an unending and painful life?!

Y(N): That is the price for my power....That....is my burden...

Glynda: All this time...I believed your power was a gift...and when I first met you, I never had considered the pain and regret you were living through. Never knowing that you held such unspeakable sorrow...You're always suffering in silence...knowing that no one could help you...(She stands and sits beside you as you notice tears building in her eyes)...I thought my life was tough, I thought I knew what pain was...but it is nothing compared to what you experienced, to the struggles you kept within yourself every day...You live your life, saving, helping, teaching others...and knowing...that no one could help you in return...Knowing that one day...Everything will be gone...and you will be left alone again...

Y(N): Glynda, you don't have to say this...

Glynda calmly turns your body towards hers...and gives you a warm and loving hug...

Glynda: I'm so sorry. Please forgive me... For considering you as nothing more than an irresponsible child that was allowed entry to Beacon... I never should have acted so harshly towards you...

Y(N): You didn't know, that's not your fault.

Glynda: I didn't know because I chose not to... I could have tried talking to you... Still, I only considered you as another student... I should have known you were different by the way that Ozpin always talked about you... I should have tried harder... I should have done more... I should have been there for you... I should have tried to understand, instead of blaming you for unnecessary accidents and trying to constantly lecture you.... I'm so sorry....

Glynda gasped as you suddenly hugged back.

Y(N): Don't apologize, because I never held any bad intentions toward you. Even if you had known what I was from the start, it wouldn't have made a difference, because my pain can't be healed with words or kind gestures... Don't blame yourself, you did nothing wrong... All you did was allow someone like me to feel like they could belong, and that's all I ask for... You and everyone else I consider...is the reason I have the strength to keep going...and the reason for why I'm considering something very important in the near future... So don't apologize, and don't cry...

You lift Glynda's face towards yours and slowly take off her glasses as you stared into her green eyes...And with your sleeve, you wiped all of her tears away as she stared into your eyes with a grateful smile...

Glynda: S-Sorry, I didn't mean to make such a mess out of myself... Heh, I must look hideous to you with all of these tears running down my face.

Y(N): You know what...8/10.

Glynda gave you a confused look as you simply chuckled and dried the rest of her tears as she put her glasses back on...and gave you a kind and reassuring smile.

Y(N): I'm sorry for making you cry... Is there anything I can do to make you feel better?

Glynda: ...Would...you be willing...to one day...take me out for dinner?

Y(N): Whoa, Professor! Did you just inadvertently ask me out?! You do know I'm still technically your student!

Glynda: (Gives you a serious look) Please answer the question.

Y(N): (You consider your options) I guess it couldn't hurt to try.... But, it's not a guarantee so don't get your hopes up... However, I may actually consider it, but the best I can do is after the Vytal Festival when the both of us are not busy.

Glynda: (Gives you a smile) As long as you consider it, I'm more than satisfied.

Y(N): (You get into a meditation stance) Well, I guess that settles that. Wake me up when we get back to Beacon.

You close your eyes as a calm white aura surrounds your body while it gives off a peaceful vibe across the bullhead.

Glynda: Y(N), thank you for everything...For being the hero that I know you are...and for being able to put up with us stubborn mortals... And consider this...as my thank you...

She slowly leans forward...and gives you a warm kiss on your forehead...

Glynda: Sweet dreams...

With a small smile, Glynda sits back in her seat and waits for the bullhead to arrive, as you discussed with yourself the potential future...

Y(N): (Thinking) ....Did I just experience Deja Vu? ....Nah, it's probably nothing....Well, I only got one more thing to do... And then... I think I can finally do it... I can finally tell them about what I really am...and the truth about Archon... And what happened that made me this way... I just hope they will still accept me...even when I reveal the truth...About what I truly did in my past... I just have to hope that our friendship...is strong enough to allow you to accept me for what I really am...
