3rd Person's POV
Dark
What she sees is dark
It has been like this since when?.... since 10 years ... no perhaps 7 years..
She clearly didn't remember ..
People are heartless and selfish..
-where are you mom?
She thought
"Y/n!" She finally heard her voice
-there she is
"You ok?! Come on hold my hand." Her mother grabbed her hand and She could tell she was checking for cars on either side..
"Be careful! Lets go!"They stepped on the road as cars rushed , loud engine roars making their ways towards their ear, their shirts swaying by due to the impact of the cars.
*honk honk*
people never listen
Horns always irritated her,reminded of something really horrible , reminded her of her scars that she had buried down deep but haven't been able to heal..
Ofcourse scars are called scars and not wound for a reason.... because they don't disappear..
"Let's go" her mother muttered as she took her hand and carefully crossed the road until they finally reached the footpath in between the double roads..
Now they just had to cross this road and then they would make it to the store across..
They were going to buy a birthday gift for her 12 year old cousin.
"It's all clear, let's go!" They stepped down on the road from the footpath and started taking careful steps , she had a weird feeling in the pit of her stomach ..
She tightened her grip on her mother's hand and her mother did the same ..
She could tell that her mother was smiling..
She trusted her mother the most in this world.
She knew that even if she left her hand , her mother would hold her..
She knew that as far as she has her mother by her side , nothing bad would happen to her..
Danger..
She sensed danger
"Mom I feel —."
"Dont worry sweetly, its just crossing of a road." She proceeded
"Watch out." She heard her mother's voice as she was swirled around and thrown at the road and then..
*crash*
There was an accident
She was sure
She felt warm liquid on her head , she touched it
-must be blood
"Mom what happened?"
Why isn't her mother coming to pick her up..
*whispers* *whispers*
"What happened?"
"Oh my"
"This is bad"
"Holy sh*t"
She could hear mutters and whispers of people and she knew a crowd was formed
"Mom?" She called out again..
"What's going on here?" A man's voice was heard
It was deep and dominating
- a police officer?
-maybe a passerby
-who is it ?
"Mom?" She touched he road as she tried to get up..
With darkness surrounding her , she couldn't exactly tell what was going on..
She just wanted to be with her mom.
"Hey you ok" it was the same man's voice from earlier
"M-mom? Where is my mom?" She spoke to no one in particular
"I am sorry" she heard him speak
"What do you mean?" She started panicking , she knew something bad had happened , she knew it from the start
"I think the person you are finding was hit by a car." He spoke
"No that's not possible."
"I can understand your pain.."
"Where is she?"
"I am sorry." He spoke in a soft voice
She knew what those words meant , 10 years ago she had heard someone say " I am sorry" to them when her father had passed away.
- No! No!
"NOOOOO" she finally shouted at the top of her lungs as warm tears cascaded down her eyes ...
"Please this must be a lie" she cried
- she lost the only person she had
"Whyyy? Whyyy does this has to be like this." She cried more and more as she hit her fists on the road.
She knew they would bleed
"Hey stop it." The same voice said as he stopped her from doing so
"You need to come with me."
Begining of a new case, who do you guys think would solve it ?
