Hyunjae sketched away at one of the table on near a little cafe on campus. She really wanted to go out and drink but it was a weekday. Maybe just maybe on the weekend. She knew she could easily convince Kunhang so if he didn't have plans they would probably go. Her art block was finally starting to clear up. Today her inspiration was irene. Irene has told her about an outfit she saw at the store that she wished she could afford so Hyunjae decided to sketch it out. Thankfully Irene was very detailed when describing the outfit. It felt refreshing to draw patterns she really hadn't worked with in a while. Sequins and ribbons were always so pretty and fun to draw.
"I seem to always catch you drawing."
She set her pencil down and looked up at the now purple haired Yuta. Her eyes widened.
"Whoa your hair!" She said rather loudly.
A few people at nearby tables glanced at the pair before returning to mind their business.
"Caught you off guard huh," he chuckled sitting down.
Hyunjae nodded, "Never thought you'd be the type to dye your hair crazy colors."
"Oh trust me you have no idea," he smiled.
There it was, his pretty smile.
"You really are full of surprises nakamoto," she chuckled.
"I know, but enough about me. What are you drawing today?" He asked excited.
It took her back. Yuta seemed genuinely interested in what she was drawing. Usually when people asked her what she was drawing they would usually listen for the first few seconds and then zone out, but not Yuta.
"Oh uh one of my friends Irene saw a really expensive cute outfit and she couldn't afford it so I decided to draw her in it. Now that I'm saying it out loud though, it sounds kinda creepy huh."
He shook his head immediately.
"No no that's super cool! Everyone gets their muse from different things. You never knew when it'll hit you," he said seriously.
Hyunjae genuinely smiled. He was so nice. How was nakamoto Yuta real?
"Hi sorry to interrupt Hyunjae can I talk to you real quick?"
She didn't even notice when Kunhang appeared. She was too busy thinking about Yuta and enjoying their conversations.
"Uh- Huh what?" Hyunjae asked Kunhang confused.
"It's all good. I probably should get going anyway. See you Hyunjae." Yuta waved as he left the table.
Immediately Kunhang took his seat.
"You seem panicked?" She asked him confused.
"I Uh May have made a small discovery."
Hyunjae raised her brow.
"Also was that the guy? Did he always have purple hair?"
"Kunhang! What discovery?"
"Oh well you see. I was looking for Johnny and well instead of finding Johnny I found Taeyong and his boy toy and I'm sorry to say but I think they're official."
"That's it? Irene told me something like that. Do you guys seriously not believe that I'm okay? That I'm chilling that I am a-o-fucking-kay?" She asked a bit upset.
Kunhang sighed, "I know you idiot. I know you don't get over crushes that fast. Especially not when it's someone close to you."
Hyunjae shrugged, "It's different this time I swear! I really never expected him to like me back so I'm not taking it to heart or anything. I don't need his love dumbass."
Kunhang was shrouded. Hyunjae has actually matured since her last high school crushes. To be honest the only reason he told her was because he was afraid that she would see them together and be heartbroken but she seemed to be doing fine. And boy was he relieved at that.
