The Bloc , a light show and group of singers singing songs together.
"I heard there was a secret chord that David played and please the lord"
The show went on , I was in the front the very front, we sang we laughed and really fucked up at some parts.
After the group finished I went to grab a hot chocolate from Starbucks ordering and paying. Waiting for it to be ready standing on the side.
"Ash, venti hot chocolate!!"
I got up reaching the cup and so does another hand. I glanced up confused seeing the fella in front of looking at me confused as well.
"Uh..this is mine..? No?" I asked he nodded "Yes, sorry names Ashton, but ya know nicknames and stuff" he laughed abit awkwardly I nodded grabbing the drink "names ashley" I said sipping on my drink.
"Ah yes the singer with a nice voice" he said. I felt myself turn red and embarrassed. "Oh yes the singer of course that's me" I said looking at him.
This sounds weird but something about him made me feel safe and comfortable.
We sat and talked after he got his drink. "So? Wanna sing me your version of the first song?" He asked me poking my leg. I laughed nodded "okay yeah why not it's going to sound shitty though"
He smiled that smile that made me feel like how I felt with him.
"Hearing your voice just talk I know it won't sound shitty." He placed his hand on top of mine. I smiled.
