"Is Brooke is coming with us to the party?" Terra questioned, as she pulled the curling iron down from her hair.
"I don't know. Probably not," I applied highlight to my cheek bones in the mirror.
"Why not?" She looked at herself in the mirror.
"I don't know," I finished up my makeup.
Terra rolls her eyes, "so we aren't over dressed right?"
We both did a once over of each other, "Nope."
"Wow this girl rich or sumin?"
"Or something," I got up and grabbed my jacket from the closet.
"So, I'm gonna go ask Brooke if she's going with us."
I turn around, "why do you want her to go so bad?"
"Because I don't want to third wheel. It sucks my bro," she left and I rolled my eyes as she left.
I grabbed a purse and put some essentials inside, then walked downstairs.
"Where are you going?" My mom sat in the living room with Cali.
"Dana is having a birthday party today," I stood by the door.
"You don't let me meet any of your friends so I wouldn't have a clue in the world who this girl is," she sighs, "Are you driving? You know how I feel about you driving while intoxicated. If your going to to drink then d-" I cut her off.
"Bri is picking me up."
"Bri?" She made a sour face.
"That's sissy's girlfriend!" Cali picked into the conversation. I rolled my eyes. She always ratting me out for something.
"That girl Brielle? Brielle Carver?"
"Yes Bri. Now can you stop interrogating me?" I cross my arms.
"I've heard about this Bri girl-"
I didn't let her finish, "so you have. No, I'm not using her for her money, yes I know she's 21, no I'm not letting her take advantage of me, and yes I'm being safe. Are we done here?"
She narrows her eyes at me, "I am done with you disrespecting me young lady! I do so much for you! Treat you like my own flesh and blood, and how do you repay me? By taking back and giving me grey hairs! GET OUT AND DON'T COME BACK UNTIL YOU'VE LEARNED SOME RESPECT!"
My eyes widen. I can tell she's being serious, because she yelled at me. Not knowing what else to do I open the front door and walk out slamming it shut behind me. This night just took an unexpected turn.
"Look who's coming with us!" Terra yelled from across the street. Standing next to her was none other than Brooke.
Her tan skin glowed against the red dress she wore. Her lips painted a seductive red were enchanting. She wrinkled her nose and smiled making her look all the more enchanting. They crossed the street and Terra could automatically sense that something was wrong.
"Sorry we took forever. Did something happen while I was gone?"
I shook my head, "I'll tell you later. It's not important right now," Bri pulled up and we all hopped in her car.

We came to a halt in front of Dana's house. Well rather mansion. Terra and Brooke were the first to hop out. Bri and I lingered behind.
"Are you Okay? You have looked worried since we left your house."
I wrapped my arms around me and nodded my head, "Yah, can we crash at your place tonight?
"Of course. I already thought y'all were any ways."
I looked off towards the house, "Yah."
"Hey," She took a stand of my hair and twirled in around her finger. I turned my head to look at her, "I got you something. Maybe it will make you feel better," She takes a Tiffany. And co box out of her pocket and hands it to me, "saw them and immediately thought of you, so I had to get them for you of course."
I take the box and open it. A long string of diamonds stair back at me, "Wow, you shouldn't have."
"Only the best for my girl," she tucked some of my hair behind my ear her hand lingering on my cheek.
"I would so kiss you right now if I wasn't wearing red lipstick," I smile over at her. I turn and let her link the necklace around my neck. She speaks when I turn back around to face her.
"I'll take my chances," Bri leans over and presses her lips to mine.
We sit in the car for a solid five minutes just making out. Real wholesome shit. Whenever we're both heavily breathing I open the car door to let some fresh air in. Bri wipes her lips and gets out the car coming to my side.
I quickly reapply some lipstick. Bri opens my door and patiently waits for me to get out. When I finish I smile and get out the car grabbing her arm, and just like that we walk inside.
Heads snap in our direction as we make our way through the already crowed house. Some kids from school greet me. The fact that they're actually acknowledging you presence is weird.
"Took y'all long enough," we meet up with Terra and Brooke in the kitchen.
I roll my eyes, "have y'all seen Dana?"
"Honey, I don't even know what the bitch looks like."
I roll my eyes, "of course."
"I'm going to get us drinks," Bri whispers in my ear. I nod my head.
"Grace!" Someone hell's my name and I turn around to see Jackie. She's wearing a pink satin dress with a diamond belt.
"Hey boo," pulls me into a bone crushing hug.
"I swear it's like I haven't seen you in ages!" Her words slur together.
I shake my head, "wheres Dana?"
"She's-" hiccup, "somewhere around here."
Bri comes up behind me and hands me a red solo cup. Jackie's eyes drift over towards her, "ouu, is this Brielle?"
I put a hand up to my face and nod my head.
"This is who you hang out with now a days?" Terra whispers from behind me. Brooke stifles a laugh.
I roll my eyes and take a big gulp of whatever's in the cup.

Whenever the lyrics pass on we sway to the beat of the song until the next song comes on. I turn around to face Bri who is standing right behind me. She has her hands on my waist and pulled me closer when I turned. A slow songs plays to calm down the crowd that had gathered. I lean against Bri as I looked around the room.
We found Dana hours ago, and she was now standing next to us with a guy that I've never seen. Terra continued to give Jackie a hard time, but is secretly loving her vibe. Brooke stands in the corner talking with that kid named Aj. She laughs at something he said.
I turn away and huff.
"What's wrong baby?"
"I need a smoke. What time is it?"
"It's 3:15. You ready to head out?"
Wow. That late already? I nod my head, then proceeded to tell everyone bye. Terra and Brooke stayed behind, Aj promising to give them a ride back to Brooks. I could have cared less. I was floating on a cloud.

I don't know when we got in the car, or when we got to her apartment. All I know is that I somehow ended up sprawled across her bed half naked with Bri on top of me. I didn't object though, because I was loving every second of it.
Her lips seemed to find every sweet spot making a string of moans flow out my mouth. Bri smirked, "music to my ears," she mumbled against my skin.
