(Another Him - Alpha Franck)
We are in the back of a truck, militarily truck type. Two SUV is following the truck. We are driving for at least an hour and a half now and I have no idea where we are going. Collin and Alec woke up half an hour ago. We were handcuffed with silver even Anna-Lynn who is laying on the floor of the truck.
Collin took Harper in his arms as soon as he woke up. As for Alec, he is now sitting on the floor with Anna-Lynn's head on his laps. We are surrendered by 6 rogues sitting with us in the back of the truck. They are two rogues in front and 4 rogues in each SUV. We are in a desperate situation. They are too many for the three of us and the silver cuffs are weakening us.
My shoulder is killing me as the bullet is still in and was dipped in wolfbane. I would be dead without Anna-Lynn but she shouldn't jump in front of me. I thought she was dead but her heart never stops to beat even if it had fainted. Now that I focus on that her heartbeats is getting stronger. How it's even possible for her to still be alive?
Collin is concerned with Harper and Alec is very worried. "He is not worried. It's pure fear that you smell."My wolf tells me."Fear from what?" I ask him. "I don't know and that's worried me." He replies. Anna-Lynn is still alive and he is not the kind of werewolf to be scare by rogues.
Suddenly we feel a powerful aura surrender us. Where it's coming from? I never felt something so powerful. We are suffocated by waves of power. It's so strong that I feel my wolf retreats deeper into my mind.
"Showing your aura will do nothing. So Stop that Alpha or I'm going to shoot you." Says the rogue who shoots Anna-Lynn earlier, slapping my shoulder.
"It's not him you dumbass!" Says Alec.
The rogue punches him on his jaw. Harper starts to cry feeling the tension and that aura. "It's Her." My wolf tells me about Anna-Lynn. "How is it possible?" I ask him. "I don't know but it's her aura."
" Make her stop to cry or I will and you will not like it!" Says another rogue.
Collin growls at him.
"You know what I will do?" The rogue asks Collin with an evil smile playing on his lips.
"I would choose my next words wisely if I was you. They will determinate the way you will die." Says Anna-Lynn her eyes still closed.
Her voice is deeper and cold than normal.
"Please Lilly." Pleads Alec.
"Shut up Alec. Someone needs to clean up that mess and your fear toward me is really pissing me off even more." She says.
"They said you're human. You should be dead by now. How is it possible?" Asks another rogue.
"Your friend shoots me 5 times and I'm still breathing... so you could remove human from the list, don't you think?" She mocks him.
"But they said you don't have a wolf."
She laughs her eyes are still close. I don't know how to explain but her face looks a bit different, more animalistic. Her fury is almost touchable creating a gloomy atmosphere.
" Oh boy, you are so stupid! I have 5 fucking bullets in my back. Bullets that were dipped in wolfbane! I would be dead if I were a werewolf."
"Then what are you?"
"Your worst nightmare!" She replies opening her eyes.
There is a collective gasp and everybody is petrified. These are not white anymore only black. Under her eyes, her veins are darker too.
"You fouls!! You have no idea what you've just awaken! "Alec says while she broke her handcuffs as if it was nothing.
In the blink of eyes, she killed the 6 rogues who are with us in the back of the truck. My wolf and I are voiceless as she breaks our silver handcuffs. She takes the time to calm down Harper before asking me to turn my back.
"This might by painful Alpha but with the wolfbane, I can't let that bullet in your shoulder any longer. "
It's hurt like hell as I feel her finger taking out the bullet but I don't say anything as I know she is right. With the bullet out, I can feel I start to heal finally.
"Please Lilly, don't let her go out. You don't want this." Alec tells her.
"Don't I? You see there is no conflict between us as we are one. And attacking me in the middle of the night was the last straw. We both know if you want a job well done you have to do it yourself. You will not stop me so don't lose our time it's annoying me."
"Who is he talking about." Ask Collin.
"My beast side." She replies before jumping out of the truck.
A few minutes later, we hear one of the SUV passes us and force the truck to stop. When we go out all the rogues are dead. And there is Anna-Lynn in the middle of the dead bodies but she not really her. She turned into a beast I never seen before, half-wolf half-human. Walking on two not human legs with long and sharp claws at the end of her now huge hands. She is really tall now at least two heads more than me and I'm tall. "Lycan" my wolf confirms my thought. How it's even possible the last one disappear thousands of years ago!
"They are all dead you can turn back." Alec says bowing his head.
"Don't brow at me, Alec! I have a rogues' camp to clean 30 miles away from here." She says before disappear. She is so fast that I can't follow her even with my wolf's vision.
"How it's even possible?" I ask Alec as he is looking for something on the dead bodies.
"No time for this. I need to find a phone I can use. All the one I found has the face id." He replies.
"What is she?" Collin asks looking for a phone carrying Harper with one arm.
"She is a Lycan." I reply.
I see him open and shut his mouth not knowing what to say.
"Finally!" Says Alec using the finger of a dead rogue to unlock a phone. He directly calls someone.
"This must be important that you dare disturb me during my sleep." Says a man.
"She turned I need to call Alpha Chris but I only know your number by heart. Can you give me his contact and you can go back to sleep." Says Alec.
"Why did she turn?" Ask the other man sounding not happy.
"We don't have time for this now!"
"Tell me what's happens and I will give you Alpha Chris's number."
"We were attacked at home and she got shut 5 times."
"What the fuck! Where were you? You were supposed to protect her!"
"You don't need to remind me I failed Anton, I know! Now give me that fucking number before she did something she will regret." Says Alec losing patience.
Anton laughs: "You need to accept she is still herself dear brother! Let her kill those damn rogues."
"Are you going to give me that fucking number?"
"Calm down. I've already texted it on this number while we were talking. Keep me updated."
"Asshole!" Says Alex hanging up and calling Alpha Chris right away.
"Alpha Chris, who is this?"
"It's Alec Alpha. Lilly has turned and she is on her way to clean up a rogues camp."
"Do you know where is the camp?"
"Yes, it's on the car's GPS."
"Give me the position and meet me there."
"Thank you, Alpha!"
"Let's go!" Alec tells us and we nod.

As we arrived in the camp, all the rogues are already dead and Anna-Lynn is still in her Lycan form. Alpha Chris is already here with his son and his Beta Gaspard. How was is able to be here so fast?
"Bella, Beta Gaspard's mate is a witch." Alec explains to us as he sees our surprise.
"Well it's today's tends to be mate with a non-werewolf." Comments my wolf. "Yeah, we are outmoded buddy!" I reply.
"Don't you point that shit toward me!" says Anna-Lynn to Alpha Chris.
"Calm down and we will not have to use it." He replies.
He, Alpha Darius and Beta Gaspard hold guns.
"Don't tell me what to do! Your fear of me is really pissing me! You should be the one to calm down." She replies.
Beta Gaspard loses his cool and shot her. But the bullets are stopped and fall in the ground.
"She is mine don't you dare hurt her!" Says a kid who just appears in front of her. But not any kid! It's my grandson. His voice is deeper than in Anna-Lynn's memories.
It's his wolf. My wolf tells me. How? He is too young. I comment. I don't know.
With a movement of his small hand, he throws us all away.
"You need to turn back in your human form or you will get hurt and I can't let that happens." Noah's Wolf says to Anna-Lynn.
"Why?"
"Let me show you." He tells her.
She kneels and he puts his small hands on her face. Emotions pass though her face as she turns back in her human form.
She smiles and asks: "Can you show me again, please?"
He nods and puts again his hands on her face. While he is showing again. Alistair and Melinda appear on Alpha Chris's side.
"Noah! Buddy wow you did it alone!" Alistair says amazed.
Melinda slaps the back of his head. He clears his throat and had in a serious tone:" I mean your mother and I were really worried when you disappear don't even do it again!"
"What did he show you?" Melinda asks to Anna-Lynn.
"A vision of his future." She replies giving her her hand.
"Hm! She broke your deal." Melinda replies.
"I know I would have to ask her why."
"What are you talking about?"Alistair asks coming to hug Anna-Lynn.
"I will tell you as soon as I can. I need to speak with someone else before." Replies Anna-Lynn.
"Her?" He adds.
"Well, not the Moon Goddess but it would be nice to ask her why she decided to break our deal."
"Can someone pick up that damn phone!" Says Alec.
Since the last minute, a phone is ringing nonstop.
"Hm dude, it's yours." Collin tells him.
"I still know my ringtone of my phone!" He retorts.
"Oops." He adds picking up the phone he took from the rogue.
"I ask you to keep me updated. Tell me she is fine." Says Anton.
"She is fine." Alec replies rolling his eyes.
"I need to check by myself. I want to speak to her." He requires.
Anna-Lynn laughs. How was she able to hear from where she was. I am only a few meters from Alec so with my wolf's hearing, I can hear Anton as if he was on speaker because of my wolf hearing. "She is a Lycan, imagine how sharp her senses are." Says my wolf. Make sense. I still can't believe she is a Lycan!
She takes the phone from Alec and says with sarcasm: "Now you want to speak after what 6 weeks of silence!"
"Listen to me, Lilly."
"Go to hell Anton."
"Ask Melinda to teleport me. I need to see you."
"Not going to happen. If I see you now I'm going to kill you."
"You know you don't think that."
"Try me!" She says hanging up.
Alpha Chris chuckles.
"Let's go home before the portal closes itself." Says Beta Female Bella.
"We need to clean that mess before." Says Alpha Darius.
"I killed cleanly this time. There is no blood." Says Anna-Lynn proudly.
"What about this one." Asks Beta Gaspard pointed a very mutilated body.
"Well, he should have to think before to crash my car with a baby inside." She replies.
"See this what will happen if you scratch one of my cars when you stole it" she adds to Alpha Darius.
"Borrow! It's called Borrow! B-O-R-R-O-W." He replies.
"We are in the border with the Dark Blood Pack." I inform them.
"Perfect! David can clean this mess." Anna-Lynn says.
"Let's go. We need to clean your wound, Alpha Franck. You can call your mate when we are at home." Alpha Chris tells me.
"Al, Meli, you are joining us?" Asks Alpha Darius.
"Sure!" Smiles Alistair carrying Noah.
He totally ignores me. "I guess with deserve that." says my wolf as sad as I am. "Yes, we do." I sigh.

We are in the Blue Moon Pack. I was checked by their doctor and I will be healed in a few hours. I called Liam just to inform about what happened and tell him we are fine and we will go back as soon as possible. I didn't tell him about Anna-Lynn through. I refused to speak with Marie to afraid to spill the beans out.
Anna-Lynn is nowhere to be seen and everybody else is cooking a huge breakfast, laughing and joking like a big family. Noah is playing with Duncan and Alistair didn't introduce me to him. He is a beautiful and playful boy. I wish I could hold him and tell him how proud I am to be his grandfather. I tried to apologize to Alistair and Melinda but they refused to listen to me.
"Apologize and give him time. He will come around." Anna-Lynn says in my back.
"I tried to but he refused to listen."
"He refused to show you he was listening."
"I hope you right. I would give anything to hold him now."
"Me too." Says my wolf sighing.
"It could happen faster than you think." She says.
"So you are a Lycan. How is it even possible?"
"You have to ask the Moon Goddess."
"You were so discreet almost invisible. I never even felt any power coming from you. ." I tell her still not believing it.
"I was not. You were just blind!" She retorts.
"Are you going to tell Liam and your Betas what I really am?" She asks.
"No."
"No?" She asks surprised and relieved.
"It's not my secret to tell and we were stupid enough to not seeing it."
"Thank you!"
"Mommy! I missed too!" Duncan says jumping on her arms.
"I missed you too my little bunny." She replies with a huge smile.
"Can I help him?" He asks her and she nods.
They walk toward me and he applies his hands on my shoulder. I feel tingling. "A healer!" Says my wolf. In seconds my shoulder is healed and not painful anymore.
"Thank you." I tell him.

We are all sitting outside. Noah and Duncan are playing hide and seek with Alpha Chris, Luna Veronica, and Beta Gaspard. While the "adults" are playing truth or dare. I'm sitting with them but I'm not involved in the conversation.
"Alpha Franck, truth or dare?" Anna-Lynn asks me.
"Truth."
"What is the stupid thing you ever do?"
"When I was 15. I played a prank during a meeting with 20 Alphas. I'd created a stink bomb. It works so well that my mother had to change all the curtains and carpets. My dad was so mad that he wanted to pass the Alpha title to my sister's mate."
"What! Uncle Rhys an Alpha! The pack would have been doomed." Alistair says.
"Why did you do that?" Alpha Darius asks me.
"Because it looked like it was a good idea at the moment. And I found the Alphas too serious. It was so boring something needed to be done."
"You have my respect Alpha!" Alpha Darius says bowing his head.
We played for a while and it was pretty funny. I learned a lot about Alistair and Melinda. I am sitting outside looking at Noah playing football.
"You were right. We were too proud to see how our sons were blessed with their mates" I say to Alec when he comes sitting aside me.
"I know and I'm sorry. I can see how painful it's for you right now. And Liam's blindness makes my brother happy so I should thank you and him for that."
" At least something positive is coming from that. I'm looking at Noah for a while and you have no idea how relieved I am that Alistair had followed his heart. I would give everything to be in his life. I already missed so much." I sigh.
"I know! He is a great kid. We should have to create him if he were not already existing. And at the same time thank Goddess he is unique." Says Alistair. I didn't hear him coming, too focus on his son.
"We are getting old! Before nobody was able to sneak on us!" Comments my wolf. I can feel how tense he is as it's our chance to speak with our pup. He is joking, at least trying, to relax.
"Look I know you don't want to hear it but I'm sorry. Your happiness is the most important thing for me and I should have seen that you already were. I hope with time you will forgive me." I tell him.
"Give me time. I will come around. Moreover, you marked point with your joke even if it almost cost you your position. You're cooler than what I thought. "
I nod.
"Come play with us Noah is curious to know you." He adds and I'm happily going.
