"Ma!" Kemoni yelled while she walked over to me as I leaned over looking at Birthday cards. Today was Brysons 3rd Birthday so while we were on the way to Chuck E. Cheese, I had to stop and pick him out a card to go with the gift we brought him
When Kemoni realized that I wasn't paying her any attention she started calling me repeatedly, walking closer to me. I looked over at her with a straight face
"What bro?"
"Hmm" she handed me a Minnie Mouse toy and started to walk off but I grabbed her arm pulling her back
"And where do you think you going?"
She started smiling and Kentrell walked around the corner with Nasir
"You still ain't done yet?"
"No. I'm tryina find one I like"
"The nigga only turning 3. Ion even know why you getting a card. He can't read"
"Well unlike gifts, cards can last for a lifetime. And besides I like getting cards"
"Cause you weird" Kentrell responded and I looked at him some type of way before looking at the cards again
"And fix yo shirt" he referred to the tank top I wore "gotcho titties hangin out"
"Well they can't help but to" I frowned while pulling up on the tank top
"Bout to make yo ass put on a sweater"
"In May? Shut up Kentrell"
"Ain no damn shut up. Noel I'll fuck you up in this store"
"Daaa!" Kemoni yelled while she grabbed a card and gave it to Kentrell. He shook his head and put it back. When I saw that it was a graduation card I burst out laughing and looked at him while picking up a card I liked
"Your daughter tryina tell you something"
"She ain tryina tell me shit"
"Mhhh. We gone discuss that later" I responded while I handed him the card and the Minnie Mouse toy Kemoni gave me. He looked at the toy confused
"What this fa?"
I pointed at Kemoni who was still playing with the cards
"Your Angel child that can never do no wrong. Now go ahead and pay for that before she pick up something else"
I pushed Kentrell off and once Kemoni saw him walking she ran after him
"NO!"
" come on" he held his hand out and she reached up for him to grab her
"No! You grown as hell. You can walk"
Kemoni started to wear a sad look on her face and Nasir just looked down at her in Kentrell's arms.
"Here" he handed her the toy and and grabbed it then he reached down and picked her up, now holding both of them and I rolled my eyes
"You are ridiculous"
"You mad cause I ain holdin' you too?"
"Watch wishing the next few years you gone regret spoiling her like you do"
"Shut up" he responded while walking off and Kemoni laid her head on his shoulder. As we headed off of the isle and to the register I heard my name being called which caused me to turn around
When I saw Brea standing there I just looked at her. Kentrell turned around to look as well and smacked his lips
"Mane come on"
As I was about to turn around and follow him she called out my name again
"Wait forreal. I really need to talk to you"
"I should be the last person you wanna talk to right now" I rudely responded and she sighed
"I'm sorry! Okay! I know what I did was wrong and I apologize"
Kentrell muttered something and walked off but I just stood there looking at her
"You think saying two little words is gonna do anything?" I asked her as I walked up to her with my arms crossed "you almost ruined my family for what? Because you mad that you can't have something you want? Then not to mention you got pregnant THEN let your friend boast about it on a fuckin' Instagram live"
"I didn't know Maya was gonna do that. When I got the abortion I was gonna leave it at that"
"You shouldn't have done what you did in the first place! Kentrell is happy. Why can't y'all accept that and move the fuck on? It's been almost 4 years now and I shouldn't be still justifying the fact that Kentrell ain't going nowhere. Now if you thought apologizing was gonna make shit better than you thought wrong. You wasted your time and mine. Now I gotta go find my Husband and kids. You have a good day" I told Brea before walking off

"Ben you slackin' what's going on?" I asked him as we played the basketball game at Chuck E. Cheese. Right now I was kicking his ass and I wasn't the best when it came to basketball
"Nigga you gettin' yo ass kicked by a girl" baby joe laughed and Ben smacked his lips while he continued to miss his shots
"Lemme see you do this shit then"
"Bryson come here. You wanna best ya daddy?" I asked him as I stopped shooting the ball and picked him up, standing him on the game while passing him a ball. He started throwing them and actually made a few of them, still doing better than Ben
"Sad as fuck" Kentrell laughed while he stood beside with me holding Nasir. Kemoni was somewhere with Elena and liyah
After a while the time went down and we looked at the score. I beat ben by a long shot
"That game was cheating" he muttered as he grabbed Bryson and I laughed while I waited for the tickets then gave then to Bryson
"Yeah. Blame the game..."
"Name some my baby can't do" Kentrell boasted while he threw his free arm around me
"Have kids that look like her" Kd pointed out while nodding towards Nasir. I rolled my eyes while he laughed
"Shut up. You better hope my niece don't come out looking like you. She gone have to return back to sender"
Kd took a ball and threw it at me, hitting me with it and Kentrell looked at him
"I'm the only one that can throw shit at her"
"No you can't" I corrected him and grabbed Nasir, who seemed pretty excited to come to me
He held onto me tight and laid his head on my shoulder while digging his little pegs into my shoulder
"Why you tryina bite me?"
"He said you look like a piece of uncooked chicken" ben felt the need to say
I stuck my finger up at him and Kentrell laughed while Kemoni hurried her way over to where we were with Elena's pregnant self trying to keep up
"Between Kemoni and this baby, I'm tired as shit" she breathed as she leaned back on one of the games and Kentrell laughed causing her to glare at him
"Don't start"
"Yessir" he responded while Kemoni tried to climb up his leg
"Daaa!"
"What?"
He picked her up and she smiled while looking at some man that walked past holding a little girl's hand.
"Aye I'm bout to pull up fuckin' eyeballs out lil girl"
Instead of paying Kentrell any attention, she continued to watch the man until Kentrell covered her eyes which made her laugh while she tried to move them out of the way
"Stop" she fussed
"Well then. That's daddy's little girl for you" I told Elena while I adjusted Nasir in my arm
She shook her head while rubbing her belly "That's exactly why I'm not letting Kd spoil Kennedy"
"Stop lyin" Kentrell butted in "that lil girl bought to be spoiled as hell. Y'all talkin bout my baby and y'alls gone be worse than her"
"Don't play. It don't get no worse than Kemoni"
I agreed with Elena and looked over seeing ben and Bryson playing another game while Jamie laughed and recorded
"I'm starting to think Ben wanted to come to Chuck E. Cheese mostly for him instead of Bryson"
"Like you and Disney world last year?" Elena asked and I rolled my eyes
"Shut up. We gotta find something to do for her birthday this year... my baby's gonna be the big two!"
"I would say good luck to the terrible twos stage but Kemoni been hit that stage since she came out the womb"
"Yo auntie just hating cause you lit as fuck ain't that right mama?" Kentrell asked Kemoni and she looked at him before looking at me and Elena, copying the look on kentrell's face and we both couldn't help but laugh
