Hoseok's POV
Unlocking the door of my house , i got in as i took off my coat, the sound of thunder drummed in my ears as i looked outside the window to see clouds forming and the sky getting darker than usual..
"Hmm.. seems like its gonna rain today." I spoke to myself ..
Making my way towards the kitchen, i decided to make coffee for myself , i turned on the stove as i filled the kettle with water and placed over it.
While waiting for the water to boil, i decided to switch on the TV and catch up to news updates as i sat on the sofa near one of the windows.
A huge gush of cold wind passed by me making me shiver..
"What? Where did that come from? Didn't i close all the windows?" I spoke to myself confused as i tried to remember whether i had closed all of them or not.
Getting up from my place, i moved towards the window that was still covered with the curtain, drawing the curtain i decided to close it when something caught my eye, narrowing my eyes , i focused on the lock of the window....
It was broken?!
Horror crept inside me as i realised that someone had broken inside my house..
Wth?!!
Getting my defences straight , i decided to check the house...
In case of emergencies , i always carried a gun so i pulled out the gun from my back-pocket as i started walking across the lounge with careful steps, checking every possible hiding spot..

3rd Person's POV
She smiled to herself as she switched off the lamp by her side , hoping for a brighter morning tomorrow..
Her eyelids started to get heavy and she knew the sleep was engulfing her ... until
Until her phone rang displaying a familiar name
Hobi home
Her lips turned up in a smile as she spoke to herself
" can't stop missing me? Eh?"
"Hello?" She said as she accepted the call
"Hey ! Whats up? You are still up?" She heard from the otherside of the call
"No , i was about to go to sleep but you called." She replied blushing
"Oh i am sorry , did i disturb you?" She heard him say
His sweet and caring nature will always be the same
She thought to herself
"Its okay , so why did you call now? Still wanna check if i have locked all the doors or not?" She laughed
"No! Actually i want you to come outside your apartment!" He spoke
"Outside? But why?" She asked confused
"I have something special for you." She could hear a tease in his voice
"OH my Hobi , you and your surprises!!."
"Btw why are you calling from your home phone?"
"My battery died on the way back so thats why."
"Oh, okay then, let me see what you got me. I hope its nothing lame."
"Trust me you will never forget this one, its really special." He said
Cancelling the call , as a slight tint appeared on her cheeks , she unlocked the door of her apartment..
Cold piercing wind flew past her making her shiver.
She stepped outside and looked around trying to spot anything.. but to no avail
She walked ahead , hoping that maybe he kept it a distance but still to no avail.
Feeling disappointed at his stupid joke , she went inside before locking the door.
She sat on her sofa pouting as she decided to call him back ..
"This time , i am gonna be very dramatic , you will see Hobi!" She said as she put the phone on her ear , the tone ringing in her ears..

Hoseok's POV
After checking all rooms , i decided to check my own.
Who could it be?
Whoever it is , i am sure he is here to seek evidence , taking quiet steps towards his room , he stopped just ahead of it as he saw the light of the room switched on.
Knew it !
Pushing the door open I said in a threatening tone
"Hands up!" I pointed my gun towards the man standing by his room phone
"Who are you?"i couldn't see his face because he had a mask on
"Answer or i ll shoot!" i spoke in a demanding tone
"Kekekeke" i heard him laugh , which just made me more angry
"I said who are y-." Before i could complete my sentence , my mobile phone rang.
Y/n .. it displayed
I saw a hint of mischief in his eyes as i accepted the call,Sending him a deathly glare,with my gun still towards him , i brought my mobile near my ear.
"Yaah you hobi!" I heard her say in a frustrated tone
"Y/n?"
"This time i am really not going to talk to you."
"Wait what happened y/n?" I asked her confused
"You told me to come out of my apartment in this weather and pranked me about having a surprise for me out there." She said
"Surprise?" I asked
"Kekekekek" he laughed again and thats when i realised
"You ba*tard!" I shouted at him
"Listen y/n." I called out
"Hello?!"
"Hello?! Y/n?"
"Who are you?" I heard her speak to someone
My hair stood at their very best as i realised that someone was inside her house and its none other than that serial killer ..
A while later a scream was heard
"Y/n!!"
"Y/n!" And before i knew the line was dropped
"You ba*tard!i wont leave you." Anger took over me as i practically ran towards him and punched him hard.
Holding him by his collar i asked
"What have you done to her?" I could feel my insides burning with rage
"Me , i haven't done anything, i just made a prank call."
"YAHH!!"
I pulled off his mask
"You?!" To be honest i wasn't surprised because i knew it would be him .
"I knew it!"
"Shh , don't loose yourself , if i am here than who is there?in her house? Eh?" He spoke in a mischievous tone making tremors run down my spine, i couldnt control myself anymore and so i knocked him off by hitting him with the back of my gun.
I need to save her..
"Hello!" I dialled a familiar number
"Yes?" He spoke from the other side of the call
"Jin hyung, i need a favour."
"Yeah sure."

I know its illegal to drive at such a high speed and you have to pay a huge fine for it , but i had no other choice, i need to save her , sometimes even lawyers have to break the rules.
Pressing hard on the accelerator , i increased my speed as i dodged every car that passed by.
The rain had already started pouring, i knew whatever i was doing would just make my own life in danger but well i am not letting her go again.
I rushed in an almost inhuman speed , i could hear sirens and horns and everything but i couldn't care less, maybe i would have on a normal day but no not today.
Bringing my car to a halt, i got outside without even bothering to lock the car..
I decided to take the stairs and ran as fast as i can , climbing 2 and sometimes 3 steps at a time...
I got to her apartment door, finally catching up my breath, i twisted the door knob only to find it locked...
Aghhhhh
Without giving a second thought , i took the fire extinguisher and started to break the lock from it , it finally opened after a 4th try.
"Handsup!" I called out pointing my gun inside, but there was nothing , no one inside.
"Get out! I know you are in there!" I shouted as i narrowed my eyes.
"Well well well." I heard someone say from behind my back
I quickly turned around as i pointed my gun to the source..
He was there , another one , his face was covered too and he had a knife in his hand which he was pointing at y/n's neck.
"Y/n?" I spoke as worry washed over me
She was all beaten up, her hair were messed up and there were bruised on her lips , and near her eyes...
Her hands were tied with a tight rope, her eyes were shut, her head hung low ,she wasn't even conscious.
"You ba*tard!! What did you do to her." I started approaching him
"Wait , unless you want this." He spoke as he cut a bit through her skin making blood appear from the newly cut sight
"What do you want ?"
I asked
"I want to continue my passion." He laughed
"And that is?"
"The stone game." I knew what he meant by that
"I wont let that happen, you have already took many innocent lives , i wont let you get away." I spoke gritting my teeth.
"Throw your gun or else!" His expressions changed all of a sudden
"Okay okay." I said as i threw my gun
"Now let her go." I said looking straight into his eyes.
I continued to look in his eyes as i slowly approach him
"Now drop your knife and lets talk." I spoke but in a calm tone this time.
"Don't try to play smart with me." He said in anger
I need to be really careful,any mistake and he would slash y/n off.
Just then the door clicked open distracting him, i was quick to take this chance as i lunged towards him and then finally snatching the knife from him.
It was yoongi, i had called him on my way in case for a back up.
Next i threw a hard kick on his stomach as he fell , securing y/n in my hand , i motioned yoongi to take her from me.
Now he was down on his knees, i punched him on his face but he took me off guard as he punched me back , making my nose bleed.
I fell beside him as he got on top of me , unfortunately he had other knife too that was hidden in his sock, he took that knife and slashed my arm making meg groan in pain.
Ouch! That hurt!
But this was not a time to fall back , its now or never.
With my one hand that was free i stopped him to attack me second time as yoongi pulled him off me , throwing a punch at him.
I got back on my feet as snatched the knife from his hand before ripping off the mask on his face
"YOU!!"
He just smirked, his smirk just released the wild dog inside of me and i slapped him hard , hard enough to knock him off..
But i didnt stop, i was like a beast, getting on top of him, i started hitting him hard
"Hey hey stop!" Someone got me off him "stop or else you are gonna kill him, he still has to go through the trial." Yoongi said calming me down.

Soon after some officers and other of our men arrived .
I on the other hand went to y/n 's room to check up on her..
she was still unconscious , we had contacted a doctor, the doctor had treated her wounds and given her some medicine.
I held her hand as tears started to dwell up in my eyes.
I caressed her fragile hands again as i took in her appearance, she looked weak and tired..
I had almost lost her today , what would have happened if i hadn't make it on time ..
Weird thoughts started to fill in my brain..
"Ho-hobi?" Her eyes started to squint open as her hand moved a bit
"You are up?!" I spoke as a wide smile made its way to my mouth
"Did you catch him?"
"Yes we did!" I told her as i held her hand tight giving her an assuring smile
"Wh-why are you crying?" She asked , her voice dry
"Uh- its nothing, just, you just rest, i need to take care of something." I told her as a gave her yet another of my smile before tugging her in the quilt and making my way out.
