CHAPTER 25:
~~Emergency Room~~
INTRO:
"I dropped the big glass, on my feet, we'll the floor, now I have glass stuck I my feet" I reply and she gasps dropping her things sitting down next to me
"Oh Aves" she replies and softly touches my hair "How much longer"
"Well I'm not big on the list so probably so ages, I think" I reply
"We are near the bottom of the list" Grayson buts in so Billie turns to glare at him
"It's fine" I wave at her, but she still glares, before turning to me smiling grabbing her bag.

GRAYSON I say, yelling internally this is probably the dumbest thing that I could ever do, whilst watching him intently, whilst he focuses on the game he's playing on his phone.
"Yes Avie," he says... he called me Avie.
I really thought that I was doing okay, for having my heartbroken, in the past week and a half, but it seems that I am not as strong as I think that I am, we'll emotionally, I have to put a smile on my face for my 3 daughters- oh my god, who's going to look after them
"The girls!?" I say sitting it up groaning when I move my feet
"Hold up, don't move," Grayson says moving me backward "I have taken care of it" he replies
"What do you mean?" I ask him, we called their kindergarten to say that someone else will be picking them up- Jake, they can stay with Jake for now but depending on what happens, I won't be able to take care of them.
"Well, they are also my fake kids," he says
"You;re not having them" I reply instantly, there is no way that I am letting him look after our girls, he has given up on me and them so many times, that I don't trust him, especially since he couldn't even remain committed to me for more than 12 hours- drunk or not.
"Avery why not, I can take care of them"
"No. I'm not allowing it, it's fine, I'll figure something out"
"Don't tell me no, they will be fine, with me, you can barely walk-" he starts butcan'tt finish his sentence because the emergency room doors burst open, with a screaming teenager flying through,
Yep, that's Billie screaming and yelling her head off, when she sets eyes on my she runs over to Grayson and me at full speed, crashing into me, pulling me into a bone-crushing hug, I hugged her back, but wince when she touches my left foot
"Oh my god, I'm sorry," she says letting me go examining the damage
"What the hell have you done," she says looking at me turning her back to Grayson, who looks at her shocked, she hasn't acknowledged him
"Help Billie," he says
"Grayson" she replied curtly before turning back to me "what did you?" she asks

"Now, I quickly stopped home to grab a few things- Jake and Ally have your girls at my house with Michael, and the rest of the crew" she starts and I nod watching Grayson out the corner of my eye "and since your mom is leaving, I'll be staying with you the whole time" she replies and I smile
"You're the best" I reply to her and she grins, Billie loves a good compliment or two.
"You can tell me I'm the best in a moment" she says and zips open the duffle bag and I smile, she has brought all of my favorite things from home including my laptop and some of my favorite books, along with the blanket that smells like my girls and she has bought all of my favorite snacks and drinks.
"You are the definitely best Bil," I say and Grayson clears his throat
"Everything okay?" I ask, feeling a pang in my chest, why am I asking him this
"I'm just going to take a leak," he says and Billie and I glare at him, his face turns upwards and he smirks.
"Thats disgusting" I reply
"Tragic" Billies compliments afterward, he laughs and saunters off to the toilet.
We sit in the emergency part of the hospital for which seems like forever, we watch everyone get called and treated and then leave the hospital, they gave me some more medicine and monitor the now almost non existent bleeding, my blood should have clotted of course I still have the glass voices still in my feet, which they still need to remove.
But in reality it has probably only been 4 hours, Billie, Grayson and I end up eating all of the food and drinks she bought, whilst using all of the loose change that she and Grayson had in their wallets on extra food from the vending machine but at last, the nurse calls me, wheeling a wheelchair
"Avery Davies," she says and we all perk up
"Yes," I say and try to stand but Billie and Grayson both pull me back down, and I grunt this not walking, and pain thing is starting to get on my nerves.
Grayson and the nurse help me get into the wheelchair and her wheels us off into a separate area and then into a smaller room divided by curtains, she places us in there and then gets some back onto the bed before leaving again to retrieve the next patient.
I turn to Billie and listed on her conversation more onto her rambling, she more rambles, or talks so fast that no-one except Jake or I can understand her.
This time it's on the new bikinis coming out. Grayson is still in the dog house, and I still am very hurt and not ready to talk about the situation, but I am extremely grateful for him being here and helping me today.
The nurse comes in not much longer, he pulls up a chair and looks at his notes, smiling at me kindly before grabbing a pen.
"Hi I'm Nurse Max, and I'm here to help you today uh-" he says looking at me and his notes than me again his kind brown eyes staring into my soul, probably seeing how much emotion and physical pain I'm in.
"Avery," I say at the same time as him and he smiles again, he can't be much older than 23, I can see Grayson turned to glare at him and shift uncomfortably but I can't care less
"So Avery, what do we have here?" he asks and I start to chuckle, so does Grayson
"Well, uh, I dropped a glass onto the floor, which landed on foot and smashed, but I didn't realize so I took a step and stepped on glass," I say gesturing to my bloodied foot, with spikes glaring out of it.
"Wow," he says and mumbles to himself some incoherent things, that neither Billie or I can understand, Billie looks at him funny and Grayson reverts back to his phone, he literally as the attention span of a fish.
"We need to get that glass out of there and you all patched up," he says
"Yes please" I reply to him sweetly and this time he chuckles, he calls out to another nurse and her ass for her opinion before he turns to the 3 of us
"So this is what I am thinking that we do-" he says
