I hope you're all alright. I'm sorry for the late updates, I'm currently writing some requests as well as the following chapter of Legendary Partner.
Here is an idea I came up with.

Silence lingered eerily into the library like thesound of a voiceless song and as you read the fascinating knowledgeof the Mystic Arts, this feeling was a welcoming source of rest. Youdrank the words of the books, printing them in your mind palace,absorbing more and more knowledge until something broke yourconcentration.
A glance to your left was all youneeded to know what it was.
«Goose? How many timesdid I tell you to stop jumping on the shelves ? » youasked, shaking your head with a smile.
The ginger cat looked at you and mewledan innocent roar while jumping to the table you were reading on andsetting itself on your comfy laps. You took the opportunity to runyour fingers through its silky fur and as a reward, a purr echoed,gaining rhythm with the beating of your own heart. Its clever eyesbore into yours for a few seconds before resting his head on his pawsand then embraced sleep, knowing he was safe with you.
Why had Goose come here from allplaces?
Well, Carol had asked you to keep aneye on the animal for a while, or in other words, until she finishesher mission. So of course, you had eagerly accepted the feline withyou, despite the disapproving look of the Sorcerer Supreme.
« He's your responsibility »he had sternly stated, before walking away, leaving a hungry cat inyour arms, and Carol looking at you apologetically.
« With great powers comes greatresponsibilities » you had muttered to yourself, to which thecat had licked your cheek, silently agreeing with you.
It has been a few days now, and the cathad made only a few... catastrophes: sleeping on Wong's head,leaving tons of hair on the Cloak of Levitation, jumping on Stephen'shead.... and so on.
Each time, he had scolded you, but youhad taken the cat into your arms, stating that an animal may loosenhis temper instead of always being on edge.
He had stared at you for a couple ofseconds, before sighing loudly and had returned to his duties,ignoring you for the rest of the day.
« Now, now, Goose, time tosleep. Sweet dreams, darling » you whispered, stroking thecat's back lovingly, and the purring intensified until Goose wasfinally asleep.
With the feline nestled on your lap,you continued your reading, enjoying this calm moment of peace.
Unfortunately, something, or rathersomeone put an end to this moment.
As you were reading, you felt eyes onyou, as if someone was watching you from afar and you shrugged thefeeling, focusing even more on the book, but it didn't go away. Onthe contrary, the feeling grew and as you closed your book to look atyour surroundings without disturbing the sleeping feline, a familiarghostly face appeared from nowhere, inches from your own face and asany human being, you screamed the hell out of your lungs. You threwthe book at the individual, but the object only passed through thesorcerer supreme and out of fright, you jumped away, making the catbounced out of your laps and get into a defence position.Immediately, tendrils came out of the cat's mouth, trying to shooaway from the person, but the animal visibly relaxed at the voice.
« This prank always works »Stephen laughed in his astral projection.
And you rolled your eyes at him,realising you should have known only him would have been up to this.
You nodded your head and leanedforward :
« Yes it does, Strange »
You pushed your lips against hisghostly cheek earning a small gasp from the man. You had never been so forward like this before and he couldn't deny that he did like it. As you got up, taking the book in your hands, you lookedbehind you, smirking at the frozen state of the sorcerer.
« Oh, by the way, this is a newspell I learned which allow me to touch any kind of astralprojection, including you. And I had known the entire time you werehere. Besides, Loki pulled this trick to me before. »
With that said, you left the room,chuckling to yourself, followed closely by Goose who mewled inapproval.
" Wait, did he have a kiss like this too?"
A whisper coming from the depth of the library answered the magician.
" Oh my, how much would you like to know?"
