"Wow you're so small Ciel," you mused out saying as you glanced down at the said boy who barely reached up to your ankle. The candy that Abberline had gave him did in fact turn him small, but to the point that he shrunk down to the size of a caterpillar.
"Why am I so small?" Ciel squeaked out angrily as you glanced down at his small figure.
"Whoops, it seems that that one made you to small," Abberline said with a sweat drop as he glanced down to where Ciel was glaring up at him.
"Is there a way to make him back to regular size?" You asked him, Abberline only going to rub the back of his neck with a sheepish look.
"Sorry, I just happen to only have another candy that makes you small that's it," Abberline replied back. "If you want to grow again then you're going to have to find someone else that will be able to help you."
"Do you happen to have that other candy on you?" You asked Abberline and he glanced over to where you were at surprised at your question. "I wish to continue to aid Ciel on his journey through Wonderland."
"Well I'll be happy to help," Abberline said as he reached into the pocket of his tailcoat and pulled out another candy. "You're lucky that I happen to have this candy on me today. Here I have no use for it at all. You can have it," Abberline stated as he handed it over to you. "I have to get going now. I have a somewhere that I need to be."
"Thanks. Have a good trip," you said watching as Abberline pedaled off into the woods. Watching him for a bit, you soon popped the candy into your mouth and instantly you felt a strong throbbing in your chest area. You gripped your chest upon feeling the pain assuming that this was what Ciel had felt as well.
It was suddenly then that you noticed that you began to grow smaller in size until you soon found herself at the same size as Ciel. He let out a sigh upon seeing you smirk at him and he shook his head. "Was it really necessary for you to shrink yourself down to this size as well?" He asked you as the two of you began to make your way through the over sized mushrooms and flowers.
"Yup!" You said with a laugh as you followed your way after Ciel. "Wow I never knew that walking through a forest at such a pain," you stated only to stop upon coming upon a clearing. Your mouth dropped open upon seeing a caterpillar Lau sitting on top of a mushroom.
"Awe, so its seems t hat this day has finally come. I am the caterpillar Lau," Lau stated as he released a gust of purple smoke over in your direction from the vaper that he had next to him. "I have been waiting for this day to come."
"If you been waiting then are you able to tell us what out next move should be?" Ciel asked out, however, Lau only glanced over to the side.
"Why I don't know," he stated causing Ciel to protest. "the right side will make you grow fuller, and the left side will make you grow shorter," he stated out.
It was then that your eyes leveled in on Ran-Mao who began to approached the two of you and you gravitated over to the side as she made her way up to Ciel. "Wait hold! On a second!" Ciel exclaimed out as he watched her approached, obviously bewildered by the tan colored skin suit she wore, it showing off a good percent of her body beneath it.
You watched in shock as Ran-Mao grabbed onto Ciel's head, pushing him so that his face was implanted in the right side of her chest area. You cringed upon seeing this only for your eyes to widen upon seeing a bright glow around them just as Ciel pushed her away from him.
"What the hell was that for!? What did you do to me!?" Ciel exclaimed out, but what caught you by surprised was that his voice was deeper than it was before. It wasn't his voice that had also changed, but his whole appearance. Now in front of you stood a twenty some old Ciel and you could only gape at him. 'Wow! he really looks attractive.'
"When I asked to be taller, I wasn't saying as in being older!" Ciel exclaimed out and you couldn't help but laugh out upon hearing him complain. "Turn me back to normal!"
"But you look so attractive," you told him with a laugh and Ciel glanced away with a blush. Upon seeing the older him do this, you couldn't help but blush yourself. 'He really is cute when he gets older,' you thought to yourself. 'But why does he remind me of Vincent.'
Instantly, Ran-Mao began to make her way toward the older Ciel to suddenly jump in him, squishing her chest area in his face. "Can't we do this in a less intimate way!" he exclaimed out to Lau. A bright glow happened once, however, this time seemed to be a fail as he turned into a little kid.
"Change me back or I'll kill you!" Ciel squeaked out causing Ran-Mao to press him back against her chest. Immediately, Ciel was turned back to his normal age and form.
"Now I haven't the faintest clue as to what the both of your name is," Lau stated out causing Ciel to glare at him.
"That's because you never bothered to ask!" Ciel exclaimed out. "The names Ciel Earl Phantomhive!"
"And my name happens to be (F/N) (L/N)," you stated out. "We happen to be looking for the white rabbit."
"The white rabbit! Then why didn't you say so in the beginning!?" Lau stated out, catching the attention of both you and Ciel.
"Then do you happen to know where he is right now!?" You exclaimed out happily, hoping that for once both you and Ciel had managed to find a way to find Sebastian.
"Sorry but I don't," he suddenly answered with a smirk as he glanced over to the side. You let out a sigh, not really surprised that Lau was answered like that, knowing that it was something that he would do. You heard Ciel grumble out before turning around and heading on his way.
"I have no need for this nonsense," Ciel stated out angrily. "Come on (Y/N). there really is no need for us to be talking to this useless caterpillar."
"Useless," you suddenly heard Lau murmur out and you stopped in your tracks to turn back to look back at him. "It would be ill of you to think of me as useless." Ciel turned back upon noticing that Lau was continuing to be talking. "For you see I am a caterpillar and as a caterpillar has, I have several transformations throughout my life. First I become a caterpillar and then my next transformation..."
"A butterfly," you stated out, your mind flashing over to think about the beautiful colors of a butterfly wings. It was suddenly then that you felt something touch your back and you glanced back to see a butterfly of mixed colors holding onto your upper back.
As for Ciel, it seemed that Ran-Mao had sprouted butterfly wings from her back and was holding onto the said boy. Without warning, both Ran-Mao and the butterfly lifted the two of you into the air leading you away from Lau. You barely had time to glance back at the caterpillar as you were whisked away.
Just like before, you and Ciel were dropped down from the sky by both Ran-Mao and the butterfly. The two of you fell your way down to the ground at a fast rate, only to be stopped by a gigantic flower. Bruised bu unhurt, you managed to pull yourself out of the flower, brushing the pollen off of you seeing that Ciel was doing that same.
"Oh Mr. Rabbit. Where are you?" An alluring voice repeated out in the midst of the night causing both you and Ciel to glance around the area wondering just who it was coming from. Laughter was followed afterword, one that you soon instantly recognized.
A large grin soon appeared over by a log, one that was soon followed by glasses, eyes and a pair of eyebrows. "Show your full self," Ciel demanded out. "I don't want to talk to someone who I can only halfway see."
Instantly,the full body of the cat like Grell began to appear into visibility. "Awe but I am a creature of halves and between's. Am I male or female no one can say, so I dwell here in the shadows."
"Enough of your gibbering show yourself," Ciel demanded just as Grell popped up over by a tree the two of you causing you both to glance over to him. "Is there something bothering you?" Grell asked with a sly tone. "If you want I can be of aid," he added suddenly behind the two of you.
"I doubt that you will be of any help," Ciel muttered out.
"Oh how could you be so cruel," Grell cried out. "I've come all this way to show you the way and this is how you repay me."
"We would love you to help us," you stated out to to the Cheshire Cat, causing him to bolt up with an excited look on his face. Gesturing the two of you to follow after him, both you and Ciel headed your way after him finding yourself in front of a direction pole.
The arrow to the left stated 'Mad Hatter' while the arrow that pointed to the right read 'March Hare'. "Which one should we take?" You asked him.
"If I would choose, I would go for both. On these paths are so irresistible men, but it wouldn't really matter as to what you would choose, they're are mad men on both," Grell stated out. "So take you whichever path you want."
"There is another option," Ciel stated, causing you to glance over to him curious about what he would say. "I could simply choose not to go both."
"Do you simply want to make that decision?" Grell asked just as soon as the ground began to shake and both you and Ciel turned around to find several trees moving to the side, a path beginning to form. A wasteland of dead trees laid beyond it making you worry as to what was beyond.
"So I guess that's our only path now," you stated out.
"Why alas it is, but at least we can put down all that talk of being lost," Grell stated as he walked his way over to where the two of you were at. "Now would you excuse me, this cat needs to go off in search of true love. And since they're no good catch here, be sure to give my greetings to the white rabbit." With that Grell vanished in place as he made your way ahead and you could only glance down the path uncertain as to where it would bring the two of you.
"Wait hold on," Ciel called out, this in turn leading Grell to reveal his head and he glanced to the side down at Ciel.
"What is it now?" He asked.
"You mentioned the white rabbit. Do you happen to know anything about him?"
"You seem to be longing for him," Grell stated as he reappeared behind Ciel. "Out of all the creatures here in Wonderland why are you looking for him specifically."
Ciel seemed uncertain as to what he would say and you could only watch him curious as to what he would say. "He is my butler and I only want my servant back," he bluntly said.
"But I want him too!" Grell wailed out. "I would wholeheartedly play the role as pussy cat! But if he was fine with it, I would be the tomcat and he would be the pussy!"
"Hold on, you never did answer my question of where I can find the white rabbit!?" Ciel exclaimed out and Grell turned around to glance at him.
"Oh don't worry dear Alice, you'll be sure to see him soon," Grell stated out, his upper torso the only thing that was visible. "If you just keep going down that path, you'll be sure to run into him. Now I really must go, tata," he said and just like that he vanished.
"So I guess the only thing that we can do is continue to head down this path since Sebastian is that way," you stated out to Ciel who looked flustered about the whole ordeal.
"Sure let's continue to head down," Ciel stated and you followed him down the barren road. After several minutes of walking, both you and Ciel came upon a rusty looking gate, a house behind it. "I guess we go on through here," Ciel stated out as he pushed opened that gate, it squeaking as the two of you made your way inside.
"What is this place?" You stated out as the two of you ventured around the house, coming to find a long table with a white table cloth. On top of the table laid plates that contained cakes and biscuits, along with tea cups.
"There is no more room," a male voice inputted, one that belonged to William, several hare ears on his head. Along side him was the Undertaker who wore a Mad Hatter outfit, while Ronald with mouse ears, slept on the table across from Will.
"Greetings and welcome to party," The Undertaker greeted as he placed his arms behind both you and Ciel to the both of your surprise. "I am the Mad Hatter and this is my guest the March Hare," he stated indicating to William. "Now would you like some tea?" He asked, although the two of you didn't get a word to answer as he pushed you into a chair.
You watched as the Undertaker poured tea into a tea cup, the liquid severely overflowing until William picked them up to hand it to you with his reaper scythe. You only stared down at it, not planning to drink it due to what usually happens when you ate or drank things in Wonderland.
"Now what is that suspicious look in your eyes?" Undertaker stated as he dropped several sugar cubes into the drinks. "There's nothing in it don't worry. Let's add maybe a cube or two," he stated as he dropped multiple sugar cubes into it.
"Umm you can stop, I think that that's enough," you stated out to him before the Undertaker pointed into the cup. You glanced in, your eyes widening upon seeing a memory of you and your family together the memory soon turning into a another that showed Elizabeth and Ciel.
"Memories are really something aren't they," the Undertaker stated to the both of you.
"Quite messing around. Tell me have you've seen the white rabbit anywhere?" Ciel demanded out to the three and you noticed that Will had stood attentive to this. "What about your friend over there? They're both rabbits shouldn't he know."
Instantly, Will shot up in his seat as he turned to glare at Ciel. "How dare you group me in with the likes of him."
"Ciel," you warned him seeing that Will was clearly getting very upset.
"Why don't we answer more important questions?' The Undertaker interrupted just as he jumped onto the table knocking things onto the ground. "If you want to find the rabbit, you'll have to pay the price," he sung out before leaning down in front of Ciel.
"The quiz is now beginning," Will suddenly said. "The rules are simply, when you know the answer ring the bell," he stated and you glanced over to see the Undertaker placing a British hat onto Ciel's head, a buzzer and several dolls on the table in front of him. "You are allowed to work with your partner over there," he said referring to you.
"Alright your first question. Why is a raven like a writing desk?" William asked out. "You will be given a minute to answer this question. You have thirty seconds to go," he stated quickly counting down, causing Ciel to slam his hand down onto the bell.
"Both of them sound like they start with an 'r'!" He exclaimed out, however, an buzzer sounded out, marking that he was wrong. A bucket dropped on his head to your surprise as the Undertaker placed one of the dolls into his hat.
This in turn led to Ronald, Will, and the Undertaker to laugh out at Ciel's dispense while he glanced on surprised. "The right answer is that they are not alike at all."
"How would he know that would be the right answer!" You exclaimed out, clearly upset at the question. "You should have asked him another question!"
"He should have known that not everything would have an easy question," will stated out causing the Undertaker to input with his own words.
"That's right, real life isn't always that easy," the Undertaker said. "That's why we all add in a lot of sugar to make things sweet." Seeing the upset look on Ciel's face that depicted that he was moments away from walking away he added. "Have the two of you've been to visit the Queen's castle.
"No we haven't yet. Why is there something wrong?" You asked him quizzically.
"Here's a warning for the both of you," the Undertaker began to say. "It would be best if the two of you, specifically Alice here stayed away from the Queen. She is savage and selfish, one could never know what punishment she may hand out."
"Even so she is still worth meeting as she holds the highest office around here," Ciel stated out with a smirk on his face.
Suddenly the loud noise of a carriage wheels was heard coming in your direction and you heard the Undertaker let out a sigh. "It seems they've come for the two of you," he stated.
"Who are you talking about?" You asked him curiously as the sound got closer. It was suddenly then that a carriage stopped in front of you, the bright exterior, brightening the dull tones of the area.
You watched in surprise as Baldroy, Mey-Rin and Finny leaped out off the carriage, the three of them heading over to where you and Ciel were at. "Come on, the Queen seeks council with the two of you. She has invited you to the castle. The white rabbit is aslo heading there as well. Now, you don't want to be late!" Bard exclaimed out as the two others grasp onto you and Ciel's arms.
"Wait what is this!?" Ciel exclaimed out just as they pushed you guys into the carriage, it suddenly lurching down the gravel road.
The two of you rode on a red flying train and it was then that you saw a large castle off in the distance. "Wow it looks so cool!" You exclaimed out upon seeing the castle. "Ciel look!" You shouted as you pointed ahead just as the train landed on the tracks heading toward the station.
As soon as it came to a stop, the door to the train opened and you gazed in surprise at the butler Grell. 'I wonder why the Grell from the Jack the Ripper case is here,' you thought only for your eyes to widen to see another butler Grell join him. 'Two Grell's!' As you and Ciel one made your way off of the train a crowd of butler Grell's made their way down the path. 'It seems everyone here is nothing but butler Grell's.'
The next moment, the two of you were led into a court room by a Grell and you watched in alarm as they separated you from Ciel. "Ciel!" You exclaimed out as you watched as Grell led Ciel over to a court stand that was in the middle of the room. "Stand here next to me," the Grell told you just as he pulled out a roll of paper. "Now presenting the most benevolent, justice seeking woman who rules this domain, the Queen!" He exclaimed out and you watched baffled as Angelina walked across the stage in a vibrant semi revealing dress to sit in a heart shape throne.
"Angelina!" You whispered yelled out upon watching her and you felt happiness yet sadness flood through you. It seemed that Ciel was also shocked upon seeing her, though you could tell something was wrong as Angelina settled cold eyes upon Ciel's figure.
"As Queen I condemn Alice's punishment to be death!" She stated out causing you and Ciel to shout out in protest, while everyone else rose in chorus. It was then that you noticed that everyone else, Ciel and you had met in Wonderland was there as well.
"Silence! Order in the court!" The Grell besides you exclaimed out saying.
Once all was quiet, Angelina continued on with what she was saying. "Off with her head! Off with it this instant!"
"That isn't fair!" You shouted causing her glance over to where you were and you soon made your way over to stand to the side of the court stand Ciel was at. "You could at least give him the right to a trial. Why are you doing this? This isn't like you at all."
Angelina seemed to be contemplating your statement before giving a small sharp nod before glancing over to where Ciel was. "Fine I guess there would be no harm in having a trial to see if he really is guilty. Read the accusations," she stated ignoring your last statement.
"Alright your majesty," another Grell replied. "The accused Alive was born on December 14, 1875," the Grell said as he fumbled with his papers suddenly dropping them everywhere. "I believe that is all."
"Really! Are you saying that my birth was a crime!?" Ciel shouted out to Angelina who waved her hand to silence him.
"Be quiet or I should call this trial off," she warned before gesturing over to another Grell.
"Would the first witness come up," that Grell stated out and you watched as Elizabeth began to make her way over to the witness stand. What surprised you the most was the fact that she wore a black bonnet and dress as if she was heading to a funeral.
A look of pain crossed Ciel's face as he realized that Elizabeth was there to testify against him. "You see I wanted to wear a pink outfit today, but you see a lady who has broken off her engagement is looked down on in society and it really had damper my mood. You see I really did love him... but it seemed that something had changed in him," she stated sadly, her voice quivering and tears welled up in her eyes. "This is because of her!" She yelled out as her eyes narrowed in in Ciel.
"Because of me..." Ciel whispered out, his eyes locked on Ciel and you glanced sadly over at him after hearing Elizabeth's statement. 'So she still loves him.'
"Would the next witness please come up," the Grell asked out and you watched as Soma frantically raced his way up to the stand.
"I had lost the most important woman of my life when I was nothing but a young boy!" He quickly exclaimed out. "I had gained two precious friends in return, one who I could say I've come to cherish, but Alice won't let me adore her like I want to!"
Witness after witness of people you had come to know began to tell their stories, throwing the blame more onto Ciel. It was once they were down that they all glanced up at Angelina and you felt your hands grasp onto your dress.
"I lost my life," Angelina bluntly stated as she glanced at Ciel. "And perhaps something more than that, I lost my sanity and a nephew and daughter who I've come to love."
Upon hearing this, your eyes began to tear up and you clutched tightly onto your dress. Tears drizzled down your face and Angelina let out a sorrowful smile. "See Alice. Every one of this was your fault. How very cruel of you to do this," she stated and Ciel glanced up at her a look of unsureness on his face.
"I have no memory of this," Ciel stated out causing Angelina to narrow her eyes.
"Indeed it seems you have no memory. And this is your crime," she stated causing his eyes to widen.
"But that's..." You began to say but fell silent. You didn't know what else you could say that would convince the others that Ciel was innocent.
"Now will the final witness come up," the Grell stated only to look surprised when no one showed.
A splash sounded near Ciel and you whipped your head over to where he was to see Undertaker with a cup of tea. "Don't you remember what I told you Alice. Memories are truly a mysterious thing. For you see you are in a dream world. A realm between the living and dead and where past and present meet and blend together. Your friend happens to know this all that is why she came along with you, didn't you know Alice."
"Alice? Is that really my name..." Ciel questioned out, a confused expression on his face. "I was sure it was something else."
"Your name is Ciel Phantomhive!" You exclaimed out and he glanced over to where you were shocked. "Don't forget who you are Ciel!" This was beginning to feel way to real and you wanted out of this dream, with Ciel including.
"That is why you are condemned Alice. Your crime is the loss of your memory," Angelina stated as she gestured to a Grell.
"And with the decision of the Queen, Alice will be sentenced to death," the Grell stated just as you screeched out "Noo!"
"Now off with her head!" Angelina shouted and dozens of Grell's surrounded Ciel pushing you to the side.
"That's not fair!" Ciel exclaimed. "I'm innocent."
"Are you?' Angelina questioned out. "Then show your proof." It was upon saying this that everyone else in the room started chanting the very same words she said.
Ciel instantly covered his ears and you glanced over at him surprised, finding it easy to ignore the chanting everyone else. "Sebastian," you suddenly heard him say and you glanced over to Ciel. "Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian!" he yelled out. "Come to me Sebastian! I am Ciel Phantomhive and I order you come to me right now!"
It was suddenly then that the glass ceiling above the the room shattered and you watched open mouth as Sebastian came leaping into the room with a smirk on his face. In a matter of seconds, he had scooped up the two of you and was leaping his way out of the room. "I must say that was well done indeed my lord. And good of you to stick by his side till the end (Y/N)."
"I order you Sebastian, get the both of us out of here immediately!" Ciel ordered.
"Catch them and bring them here!" Angelina exclaimed out.
"Of course my lord," Sebastian stated as he fought back several of the Grell's, managing to keep the two of you in his arms. He suddenly leaped upward toward the shattered mirror and before he jumped his way out of the courtroom, you glanced behind to see everyone else gazing up at the three of you. Your eyes swiveled over to Angelina, to find her standing before the throne, her normal clothes back on, and a sorrowful smile and expression was on her face as she watched you guys.
'So you're going home at last,' you happened to hear her say in your head. 'Thank you for protecting Ciel for me. I cherished the time that we shared together. Let us meet again Ciel, (Y/N). In another dream.'
Your eyes snapped open and it was then that you found yourself laying on a carpeted floor. Groggily, you sat up from where you laid finding yourself back in Ciel's study room and you reached your hand up to your forehead upon feeling a headache coming on. Standing up, you turned to find that Ciel was still asleep on his desk, though there now was a peaceful expression on his face.
"(Y/N)," you heard a voice say and turned around to find Sebastian standing in the room in the door. "I can only assume that that was some spell that you used."
"Yeah," you softly said with a nod and you slowly made your way over to where he was at, though you glanced behind you at Ciel.
"Are you feeling alright?" Sebastian asked you worriedly upon seeing the exhausted look on your face.
"Just tired..." you managed to say as just as your fainted, Sebastian managing to catch you before you fell to the ground. 'Angelina, I hope I see you in my dreams,' was the last thing you thought before falling unconscious.
