"It feels good to be on vacation!" you exclaimed out as you collapsed on the living room couch, drained from the semi long journey you and the others had taken. Due to some work in town, Ciel had went to stay in the town house and had decided to bring you and the other servants along to your joy.
The sixth of you had arrived at the town house a couple of hours ago and once you guys had immediately gotten settled into the place, Ciel had set out along with Sebastian to town due to some case that the Queen had wanted Ciel to look into.
You however had decided to at the town house, wanting to take full access of your 'vacation' here in town. Pluto had been left behind at he manor to protect it and you definitely missed him dearly.
Although you and the others would still be having to clean up the place, you still considered yourself to be on vacation and you knew for a fact that you would do nothing but rest during your time here.
You couldn't help but think about the James you had met from Houndsville and could only wonder if he was doing okay. You had sent him that letter a while ago and you still hadn't received a letter back from him in response, though you could only assume that he was busy.
"It really is, yes it is," Mey-Rin said from where she stood besides the couch watching you with a small on your face. "I plan on getting my rest while I'm here. I'm sure that others feel the same as well."
It was suddenly then that your cat ears twitched on the top of your head, and you pushed yourself up as you turned toward the direction of where the front door was. "Ciel and Sebastian are here," you stated out to her.
You dispersed your cat ears before getting up from the couch and following after Mey-Rin as the two of you made your way to the entrance hall. "Welcome home master," Mey-Rin said along with Finny and Bard upon seeing Ciel and Sebastian.
Tanaka made his way alongside Bard as the two of them came to a sop behind Ciel and Sebastian. Tanaka had returned home from the meeting that Ciel had sent him out onto and you were glad to see the chibi butler again.
"Ciel! Sebastian! Good to see you guys!" You exclaimed out to the two of them when you came to a stop in front of them, watching as Sebastian took Ciel's coat from him. "How was it?"
"I still don't understand as to who the culprit is," Ciel said with a sigh just as soon as the front door opened and Lau walked in. "What are you doing here!?" Ciel exclaimed out to Lau who gave the said boy a smile.
"I decided to stop by and visit," Lau said as he made his way inside of the town house after closing the door behind him.
"How many times have I told you to send me a message when you plan on visiting!" Ciel shouted out and you could tell that he was annoyed at the fact that Lau had showed up unannounced.
"It's good to see you again Lau," you told him, butting in to whatever Ciel was about to say.
Lau's eyes swiveled over to glance at you and he gave you a smile in your direction. "It's good to see you again lady (Y/N). I hope that you are doing okay?" He asked you to which you gave him a nod with a smile.
"Shall I bring some refreshment for our guest?" Sebastian asked Ciel who only stared in distaste up at Lau. "Perhaps some tea at that."
Ciel let out a sigh as he glanced to the side clearly annoyed. "Why not. We might as well do that with Lau here. I think we might have some Earl Grey in the pantry," he said before glancing to Sebastian who nodded. It was then that he glanced over to the front door and a look of shock came across his face as he pointed flabbergasted at the door.
You followed the direction of where he was pointing and it was then that you mouth dropped in surprised. "What are you doing here!?" Ciel exclaimed out and you could only stare at the fact that Prince Soma and Agni were standing in the door way.
'I can't believe their actually here! I can't believe I forgot that this was the episode that they would come,' you thought to yourself as you watched as Prince Soma and Agni come into the town house.
"Oh them, I happened to run into them and they happened to knew you not to mention said that they wanted to talk to you," Lau said as the two 'guest' came into the house and you couldn't help but to watch them with wide eyes.
"We barely even know each other!" Ciel proclaimed out and you slowly began to make your way over to him as he stared flabbergasted at Prince Soma. "We've only met each other in a street brawl!"
"Don't you remember I saved you," Prince Soma said as he walked past Ciel who glared at them with an annoyed expression.
"You never saved me! Who do you think you are!?" He exclaimed out furiously and you rested a hand on his shoulder in an attempt to try to calm the boy down.
Prince Soma and Agni continued to head their way toward the stairs as of they knew where they were going and you could only watch with large eyes. "Where I'm from it's someone down you a favor you give them a hospitality. Is it the English way to leave their savor out in the freezing cold?" He said already on his way up the stairs on toward a room.
An irk mark formed on Ciel's face as he stomped his way in the direction that Prince Soma had left. You and Sebastian glanced at each other before following after Ciel who had quicken his place only to suddenly throw a door open. "JUST WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!!" He exclaimed out and you glanced around him to see Prince Soma draped on the bed.
"Why I'm a prince," Prince Soma said catching everyone else by surprised.
"He is the one of the 26 children of the Raja of Bengal," Agni said as he gestured over to Prince Soma. "Would you please extend your hospitality to my master, Prince Soma Asman Kadar."
"Thank you for your hospitality."
"A real prince in our on house!" Finny exclaimed out with the others and glanced on in wonder. "I've never seen a prince before."
"You may approach," Prince Soma said to which the servants did, fawning over him and the only thing you could do was roll your eyes though you couldn't help but smile.
"(Y/N), Sebastian," Ciel said catching the both of your attention and he remained watching Prince Soma. "I want the two of you to keep an eye on the two of them. Don't let them out of your sight."
You had returned back to your room excited for the days to come due to Prince Soma and Agni finally being here. You let out a blush upon seeing the Prince Soma doll and could only hope that he wouldn't see it. It was then that you heard tapping on your window and you made your over toward it.
Opening the window sill, you glanced around only to flinch upon hearing a chuckle come beneath you. You stumbled back only to let out a sigh of relief upon seeing Grell stick his head into the room. "Grell I didn't know that you would be coming today."
"I told you last time that I would be stopping by every now and then." Grell said to you, remaining to be by the window. "You give me something to look forward to in the day," he told you causing you to blush out.
"I'm guessing Will has been nagging you lately," you said with a laugh at Grell's pouting expression and knew for a fact that you were right. "I'm surprised you don't have a job to do."
Grell scratched the back of his head as he glanced to the side, his glasses glinting from the lights in your room. "Well, you see~"
"Grell," you told him in a stern manner, although your lips pulled upward in a smile.
"I actually have a job I'm suppose to do right now," Grell confessed and you could only laugh out loud as you leaned out of the window to watch him closely.
"Then why aren't you going to do it right now," you asked him with an amused smile.
"I wanted to see you first," Grell said suddenly catching you by surprised and it was then that he flashed you a smile before stretching in place. "Well! I should be going! I just know that Will will say something about this later on. Sleep tight darling! And say hi to Bassy for me!" He exclaimed out saying before leaping into the night.
A smile was etched onto your face as you watched as he vanished into the night's shadows. Watching him until he vanished from sight, you returned to your bed with a smile on your face as you turned the light off with an easy chant.
You had woken up now overjoyed at the fact that Prince Soma and Agni had finally arrived. After changing into a more comfortable , you began to head your way through the town house. It was then that you heard the sound of a violin playing and you began to head in the direction of it.
Glancing around the corner, you peered into the ball room to find Ciel practicing violin while Sebastian watched on and you could only assume that he was in his studies. You began to make your way into the room watching as he stopped to look up at you.
"Sorry did I interrupt your practice?" You asked him alarmed and he did nothing but shake his head and give you a smile.
"Don't worry it wasn't you who interrupted me," Ciel said as his gaze darted over to the other side of the room and you followed his gaze to see Prince Soma and Agni kneeling down in front of piano. "I can't play with all that ruckus."
Placing the violin down, he gripped onto your hand and began to pull you over to where the two Indians were at, Sebastian following after the two of you. "What are they doing?" Ciel asked Lau who was watching Prince Soma and Agni pray to a statue of a goddess that had been place on the piano.
"If I had to guess it seems that their praying to a god," you stated out upon watching the two of them bow.
"It's quite a strange looking one at that," Lau added in and you knew that he was probably talking about the four arms that that statue had.
"If I say so myself that looks like it looks like a statue of a women who seems to be carrying a severed head," Sebastian stated upon stopping behind you. "It's wearing a necklace of severed heads as well and dancing on a man's stomach."
Agni turned to look at the three of you while, Prince Soma remained praying. "It depicts one of the sacred being of Hinduism. She is the goddess Kali who is the wife of the god Shiva and is also the wife of power. According to myth a demon once challenge her and she gave herself to destruction and carnage. In order to protect the earth her husband threw herself down at her feet. Treading upon her husband brought Kali back to her senses and peace was .once again restored."
'Wow I can learn more from Agni than in history class any day,' you thought to yourself as you listened on to Agni's tale.
"The statue here represents her story, the goddess Kali walking upon her husband and the head of the demon that she had slayed," Agni continued on saying.
You turned to glance back at Sebastian who seemed to be lost in thought. "Have you ever heard of it?" You asked him the question also gaining the attention of Ciel.
"No I've never heard of a goddess such as Kali before," the demon butler stated out to the two of you. "I shall have to keep that in mind whenever I go back to India."
"You've been to India before!" You exclaimed out in wonder as you gaze at him with wide eyes. "That's so cool. The next time you go you should really take me with you! I would love to be able to go and visit someday!"
Sebastian let out a chuckle as he glanced down at your amazed figure as he nodded his head with a smile. "I'll be sure to remember to bring you with me the next time I go."
It was then that Prince Soma stood up from the ground and turned to face you, his golden eyes locked onto your (E/C) ones. His eyes widened upon glancing at your figure before he stepped closer to you causing you to look on startled. "I don't think I've met you before," he said with large eyes.
"Oh my names (Y/N) (L/N)," you told the prince with a smile as you fiddled with the pocket of your pants. "I work underneath Ciel here, it's a pleasure to meet you Prince Soma."
"I did not know that women from this place wear unusual clothes such as this place," Prince Soma stated out upon seeing the outfit that you were wearing and you flashed him a smile.
"I guess you don't know then, but I'm no ordinary lady," you told with a smirk and you could sense that Sebastian was trying to stifle a chuckle from behind you.
"If I have to give my input, (Y/N) is just as good as a servant as Sebastian is and he's exceptional at his work," Lau added in and you could only let out a laugh as you told him thanks.
"Hmm," Prince Soma said seeming lost in thought before flashing you a happy smile. "I can already tell that she's astonishing not to mention very beautiful," he stated causing you to blush.
It was suddenly then that Sebastian let out a cough, directing all attention to him and he glanced up to glare at Prince Soma, causing the prince to glance away. "Young master, I think it's time for your fencing practice," he said in a sweetly yet terrifying smile.
"You're right," Ciel said as he followed after Sebastian to the middle of the room just as Sebastian handed him a fencing sword. You followed along with Prince Soma who looked devastated as he let out a sigh as he laid down on a blanket that had been placed there by Agni.
"How long are the two of you going to be at this?" Agni asked deflated as he watched as Sebastian and Ciel fence against each other bored. "What are you even doing anyway? You look like an idiot?"
"Shut up!" Ciel exclaimed out. "You're are distracting," he said before turning to face Prince Soma to where he sat next to you. "If you need attention that bad why not give fencing a try," he said as he tossed a fencing sword over to him.
"And if I win you will go out in the town with me," Prince Soma said as he caught the sword and stood up.
"Good luck you guys!" You exclaimed out to the both of them once Sebastian had indicated the start to the round and you watched as Prince Soma dash his way toward Ciel. You watched as he smacked Ciel in the leg, this obviously doing nothing and throwing him back flabbergasted.
Ciel dashed his way toward Prince Soma in an attempt to strike him, however you watched in shock as Agni blocked it with a cup before striking Ciel's arm obviously hitting a pressure point. You jumped to your feet and dashed your way over to Ciel, bending down to make sure he was okay.
"Sir I am sorry," Agni said as he sank down worried for Ciel who was now down on his knees and you glanced over his figure seeing that his arm was the thing causing him pain. "When I saw you about to strike the Prince my instincts took over."
Prince Soma instantly let out a laugh as he straightened up triumphantly. "You have served your master well. Agni is my servant my him an extension of me, so this round goes to me."
"I don't know how that's really fair," you stated out as you sweat dropped before hearing a laugh behind you and you glanced back to see Lau pick up the fencing sword that Ciel had dropped.
"It looks like you'll have to avenge your master," Lau said as he bent the sword that he was carrying. "Here you go," he said before throwing it over to him.
"For goodness shake, master why did you have to provoke the bratty little prince," he said with a desolate look. "However as a Phantomhive butler I don't have a choice to stay by the side when someone harms my master."
"I am curious, very well I will allow you to duel," Prince Soma said before turning to hand the sword over to Agni. "Fight well for me Agni and in the name of Kali be sure that you do not lose."
"Sebastian I order you! Shut the brat up now!" Ciel exclaimed out to which Sebastian nodded his head as he braced himself to fight Agni. It was then that both Agni and Sebastian charge at each other, their swords clinging against each other as they fought.
You shivered in your place as you watched the two of them fight against each other. It was still winter in England and the last couple of days had been snowing making several of the rooms in the town house cold. 'Maybe I should have have worn something else.'
It was suddenly then that you felt something warm wrap itself around your neck and you glanced up in surprised to find that Prince Soma had bundled his shawl around you. "A beautiful lady such as yourself shouldn't be left to freeze," he said his large golden eyes gazing into your own causing you to blush out.
"Thank you," you told him with a blush just as soon as a large clang resonated throughout the ball room, making you glance over to where the fencing battle was going on. You watched with large eyes as both swords struck each other, making the swords snap in half and fly in the air.
"I guess it's a draw isn't it," Lau said out loud.
"That butler of your's sure is something," Prince Soma said happily. "Agni is the best fighter in my palace. It's an honor of you to be fighting him," he said and you watched as Ciel headed his way over toward Sebastian, knowing that he was shock to find that it was a draw.
You watched as Ciel whispered to Sebastian before glancing back over to where Prince Soma was at. Sebastian straightened himself up as he gave Agni a polite smile. "You fought very well it surprised me. Maybe you can train against (Y/N) here."
"Fight against her?" Agni asked questioningly. "But she is a female."
"She's a lot stronger than you think. I've been training her lately and it would do good for her to go against an opponent such as yourself," Sebastian said and Agni gave him a nod.
"The next time we come I'll be sure to help you train her," Agni said and you could only sweat drop at the fact. You had been doing training everyday with Sebastian and was just as good as you were when you had first came to the dimension if not better.
Ciel's studies were over a couple of hours later and Sebastian was currently going to prepare dinner for both Ciel and Prince Soma. You were currently roaming around the hallways with Finny and you let out a stretch as the two walked.
"I can't believe there's an actual prince here!" Finny exclaimed out in awe and you could only let out a laugh upon seeing his overjoyed expression.
"Right, I wouldn't have expected for the both of them to just suddenly show up like that," you replied back with a laugh as you walked along his side. "Oh and Finny," you said catching his gaze when he glanced at you. "I know those flowers that are on my dresser are from you. Thank you."
This resulted in Finny blushing as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly with a shy smile. "It was nothing really. I really wanted to give you them. I heard flowers can make a person happy and I want you to be happy."
You let out a blush upon hearing these words and it was suddenly then that you smelled a strong aroma drifting through the halls, and your mouth instantly started to water. "Do you smell that?"
Finny paused for a second as he to sniffed at the air and his eyes widened as he pointed down that hall. "It smells really good! I think it's coming from the direction of the kitchen. Let's go!" He exclaimed out as he grab onto your hand and dragged you in the direction.
"Oh wow it smells amazing in there," Finny exclaimed out saying as the two of you peeked into the kitchen to see Bard and Agni preparing some food.
"I can already tell that it's going to be delicious," you said out loud as your mouth dripped with saliva. 'I wonder where Sebastian is right now.'
"Oh come on in you two, it would be a pleasure if I could get the two of you's help," Agni said as he gestured both you and Finny into the kitchen to Finny's surprise.
"You really want me to help you?" Finny asked seeming surprised that Agni would ask and you could only assume that it was due to Sebastian always telling him that he couldn't. "I tend to be to strong to help."
"Well that's actually what i need right now," Agni said with a smile and he lifted up a steaming hot potato. "I needed someone to help me with breaking these up for me and I think your strength will be needed for that."
"Oh- really! Then I'll be sure to do a good job!" Finny exclaimed out with a beaming smile and he headed his way over to Agni with you following after him.
"I'll help him as well," you informed Agni who flashed you a smile.
"Great the more the people, the more merrier it gets!" He exclaimed out causing you to laugh. It only took a few more minutes before Mey-Rin joined the group and it was suddenly then that the door opened showing a shocked expression of Sebastian.
"How did you manage to get this bunch to help you?" He asked Agni as he as he made his way over to the Indian to help him cut up several carrots.
"You see I believe that the gods gave each individual a strength that would help them out in their life," Agni explained as he cooked. "You just have to know how to use that strength to something that suits it." You listened on as Agni began to explain his story to Sebastian, explaining how he had been a cold brute before he was saved by Prince Soma.
It took only a few more minutes before the food was ready and both you, Mey-Rin, Agni and Sebastian had begun to serve it to Ciel, Lau and Prince Soma who sat at the dining table with each other. Removing an empty plate, you rested another platter down in front of Ciel who gave you a smile to which you returned.
"So how long do you plan on staying here?" Ciel asked Prince Soma who glanced up from where he sat. You stood alongside Mey-Rin watching as the three of them conversed with each other.
"We will leave when our business here is done," Prince Soma said as he rested his arms on the table.
"That's right," Lau began to say. "You said you were searching for someone."
"And you! How long were you planning on staying here!" Ciel exclaimed out as he gave Lau a glare causing to try to stifle a laughter which made Ciel give you an amused expression.
"Oh now now relax," Lau said causing an irk mark to form on Ciel's forehead.
"We're searching for a woman," Prince Soma said as he reach into his outfit to pull out a paper. "This is her," he said as he unfolded it to show a horrible drawing of a lady and you did your best to keep in your laughter. "Nina was a servant at my palace."
"Well Sebastian are you able to find her?" He asked and you watched as Sebastian headed his way over to Prince Soma to glance down at the drawing only to shrug.
"Even I can't do anything with that," he said. "Pardon me"
"So tell me what is this 'Nina' to you?" Ciel said as he ate one of his cuisine.
"I have known Nina ever since I was a child," Prince Soma began to explain in a serious manner. "She was basically my nurse mate. The only person who really took care of me. My mother and father barely paid any attention to me. It was a lonely life, but I had Nina. She was always there for me, but then a British man who had his eyes on her kidnapped her and brought her to England with him."
"So you came to get this Nina back?" Ciel questioned out to him.
"You're right I will stop at nothing to bring her back," Prince Soma said.
"Seems like a lot of fuss to me," Ciel said calmly as he cut at a piece of fish that was on his plate. 'I don't think that was a good thing to say,' you thought to yourself. You could tell that Prince Soma really cared a lot about Nina and that he treasured her deeply.
"NO IT ISN'T!!" Prince Soma exclaimed out as he stood up from his chair, bringing Ciel with him in a tight hold. You took a step toward the two of them thoughts racing through your mind, but upon seeing Sebastian doing nothing you refrained yourself from doing anything. "You cannot comprehend my despair at being separated from her! You do not understand-"
"No, I don't understand," Ciel said sternly. "Something as trivial as that is really a great despair. You're right, I don't understand it and I don't care to," he said before he shoved Prince Soma's hand off of him to head to a door beside's them. "There are some things that you can never get back," he said as he stopped in front of the door, a hand rested on the doorknob. "No matter how hard you struggle, but maybe you're still to young to understand," he said before closing the door behind him.
You instantly raced after Ciel before stopping and turning around to face Prince Soma. "A lot of things have happened to him when he was younger," you explained to him and his eyes widened. "I can tell that Nina means a lot to you, I had people who were like that to me as well, but their gone like the ones that were for Ciel. I hope that you can understand why he said all those things." You then turned around and went through the door to find Ciel on the other side.
"Ciel.." you said softly upon seeing the upset look on his face and you headed your way over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's not his fault Ciel, he just doesn't understand what happened to you," you explained to him.
"I know, but still... it just got me.. upset upon hearing those things," Ciel said with a deep sigh. "He doesn't know the true feeling of despair when losing someone permanently."
"And maybe it's a good thing that he doesn't know," you told him and upon seeing the unhappy expression on his face, you pulled him into a hug, causing him to sigh out as he relaxed into the hug. "Don't worry to much about it Ciel. I know it's hard, but that's why I'm here for you."
"I'm sorry for worrying you (Y/N)," Ciel mumbled into your shoulder and you pulled back with a reassuring smile on your face. "I don't know what to do know."
"Maybe start by trying to apologize to Prince Soma," you told him with a smile and he let out a groan.
"Do I really have to?" He said seeming annoyed at the fact and you raised your eyebrows as you snorted.
"Yes of course you do," you told him as you began to lead him down the hall.
"Hey (Y/N)," Ciel said causing you to look over at him, curious as to what he would say. "Thanks you know.. for consoling me like that."
You gave him a tender smile, flashing your teeth in doing so. "Of course!"
