Meanwhile, at Jiho's house..
Jiho's POV
It's been a few days since the attack. I didn't speak of it to anyone. Nari told me to take care of Rika. Since I had a few days off of work, I agreed.
Well I didn't technically agree, but I didn't have a problem with it.
I'm currently sitting in my living room with a cup of coffee. The T.V was on, but I didn't pay any attention to that.
I was thinking about the night Nari took us in.
Flashback~
It's been a good 10 minutes since I woke up.
I sat and watched Nari and her friend talk.
They mentioned something about a spell which caught my attention.
"What are you?" I asked Nari.
"I don't think you need to know."
"Actually I think I have a right to know," I protested.
"Look, I'm only doing this for Rika. Otherwise, we should never meet again," she said.
I didn't reply to that since I knew I couldn't convince her to tell me.
I really wonder what is Rika's past with Nari. At first I didn't seem to think much of it, but now, I'm really curious.
Well, it's not any of my business is it?
I watched as they stood around Rika and began to chant something.
Great, I'm dealing with more of the supernatural.
First Incubi and Succubi. Next Vampires. And now, this.
I sat in silence when I realized something was wrong.
I tried to remember what had happened before I passed out. My memory was a little bit blurry for some odd reason.
I remember that Rika was fighting the hooded figure, but from then on, I can't remember.
What exactly happened? Apparently Nari had found us and brought us to her place.
I don't remember how Rika got hurt that badly. It was as if my memory was wiped.
They finished chanting, and looked over at me.
"Is she okay?" I asked.
"Yeah. It's a good thing Nari found you guys. You would've been goners if she hadn't," Nari's friend said.
"Do you remember what happened to Rika?" Nari asked me.
"It's strange, but I can't. I have great memory, but I can't seem to remember what happened to her or me."
"I figured he would've wiped your memory. Typical," Nari spat.
"Who?"
"None of your business." Nari went to what I assumed the kitchen with her friend.
I just stared at Rika until they came back.
"You're fine now. Take Rika and leave," Nari demanded.
"What-"
Rika was in my arms before I could say anything about it, and I was suddenly standing outside.
With no explanation at all, I began walking towards my house.
What just happened?
End of flashback~
Rika hasn't woken up yet. I'm getting worried, but Nari said it might take up to a week.
I just hope she wakes up soon..
Rika's POV
My chest hurts..
I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar setting.
I had bandages on my chest and arms.
What happened?
I was fighting the guy who attacked Jiho and me, but I don't remember what happened afterwards.
More importantly, where am I?
I stood up. My chest and arms were slightly in pain, but it wasn't extremely painful.
My clothes had been changed. I looked down.
I was wearing a tight shirt along with some shorts that were way too short for me.
What the...
What type of pervert am I dealing with?
I slowly opened the door and tiptoed to the living room.
I saw someone sitting on the couch.
Pervert spotted.
I slowly walked up behind them and punched them as hard as I could.
I heard a groan come from them. They fell to the floor with a thud. Serves them right.
I stepped closer to get a better look of who they were.
"Jiho?!"
"Ugh.."
"Why am I in your house?!" I asked.
"Nari told me to bring you here," he said weakly.
"Nari?"
"Yeah. Hwang Nari. Does that ring a bell?" He stood up from the floor and took a seat on the couch, rubbing his head along the way. A bump on his head was now visible.
"Right, I remember her now."
I couldn't stop staring at the bump on his head. I started to chuckle at it.
"What?"
"The bump on your head.. It's hilarious!" I laughed.
"You're the one who punched me," he mumbled.
I stopped laughing and calmed down.
"It's only because I thought you were a pervert who liked dressing girls up in tight clothing." I pointed at my clothes.
"What? Those are Nari's clothes. Your clothes had blood on them," he said.
He turned around to look at me but quickly turned back around.
"What?" I asked.
"N-Nothing. I'll get you something else to wear. Follow me." He stood up and started walking to the room I was laying in earlier.
"This is your room?"
"Yeah."
My face flushed knowing that I had slept in his room. Calm down! This is what friends would do! Right? I'm not special for sleeping in his room.
I looked at Jiho. I noticed something. His ears were red.
I waited outside his room for him.
"Here. These are too tight for me, so they might fit you." In his hands was a shirt and sweatpants.
When my hand reached out to take them, our hands brushed each other ever so slightly. That caused Jiho's face to become a bright red, and he quickly stuffed his hands in his pockets.
"You can change in my room," he said. He was avoiding eye contact with me. Jiho walked back to the living room.
I felt my face heat up. What just happened?
I went into his room and closed the door.
As stupid as I was, I forgot to lock the door. Big mistake.
The pants were easy enough to put on, but they were a little bit loose. The shirt, however, was being difficult.
Because of our size difference, I kept putting the shirt on wrong. It took me almost 5 minutes to figure out where my arms went. It took me an extra 2 minutes to figure out where my head went.
When I figured it out, Jiho knocked on the door.
"I'm coming in. You should be done by now," his voice said from the other side of the door.
"W-Wait!" I shouted, but it was too late.
The shirt was only halfway on, exposing my stomach.
When he came in, he looked at me. His face, once again, became as red as a tomato.
"S-Sorry!" He ran out the door and closed it as fast as he could.
As soon as I put the shirt on completely, I slowly walked towards the door and opened it.
Jiho was waiting outside, his face still red.
"S-Sorry. I didn't know you were still changing," he said as he hid his face from me.
"If you were someone else, I would've punched you full force. You're lucky it was you," I mumbled.
The atmosphere was tense. No one said a word until I broke the silence.
"Let's go get something to eat. I'm assuming you haven't had breakfast?" I asked.
"No, not yet. I'll make some for us." We walked towards the kitchen in silence.
"Do you need any help?"
"No, go rest on the couch. Your wounds need to heal after all," he said and smiled warmly at me.
My heart is racing.
I can't help it.
This is all your fault, Shin Jiho.
I've fallen for you..
