Lucresia •

Nick and I were walking down to demonology while discussing how he was going to stay over at my house over thanksgiving, or as the Greendale witches knew as the Feast of Feast.

"I just can't believe this coven actually eats a witch, like that is crazy." I said as Nick chuckled and nodded, "It is, did your coven not have this?" He asked me as I shook my head.

"We had the 'Feast of the lamb' but it involved eating a lamb, not a human." As said as Nick listened to me intently.

"Do you partake in this festivity?" I asked him, obviously hoping for a no... I didn't want a cannibal boyfriend. "I don't, I usually teleport someplace or slip out of the church without being seen." He responded as I sighed in relief.

"Well, you're going to celebrate Thanksgiving with my family, we have a huge dinner." I gushed as he smiled. "I'm excited, but why does your family of witches celebrate a mortal holiday?" He asked. About time I told him about Kennedy.

"I have a mortal sister, well she's adopted... not really my sister but we grew up together so I find her to be my sister." I explained. I hope he doesn't mind I mean most witches and warlocks hate mortals.

"Your family of powerful witches and warlocks, adopted a mortal girl? Epic." He stated as I chuckled and nodded. "She was daughter of my father's mortal friend, they sadly passed and so my parents took her in at a very young age. My dad ran it by the Dark Lord and he agreed. We celebrate normal holidays so she doesn't feel left out of the mortal world. " I continued as Nick nodded.

"Well... I can't say no to spending time with my girl's family, especially your father. His take on necromancy is simply astounding." Nick said as I smiled. My family is best known for necromancy. My ancestor, Sarah Good, was one of the first recorded witches to deal with the dead.

We finally arrived at demonology class, which was given by Father Blackwood. We entered to see Sabrina already sitting down. So she solved it. She solved the configuration.

We sat down as everyone got settled down and Father Blackwood starting giving his seminar. Suddenly he was interrupted by Sabrina,.

"Father Blackwood, can witches perform exorcisms?" She asked as a few of the students chuckled. I looked at Nick who gave me a raised eyebrow.

"Miss Spellman, I'm not sure what that question has to do with anything we're discussing in this seminar but no, witches may not. Someone tell Sabrina, please, why that is." Father Blackwood responded as Sabrina frowned.

"Exorcisms are a catholic rite in which male priests call upon the False God for assistance to expel demons." Prudence responded with a smirk on her face. Vera chuckled lightly as the weird sisters followed suit.

"Correct. Now, as I was saying; the ancient Assyrians, particularly, were- Yes, Miss Spellman?" Father Blackwood asked, clearly annoyed with the girl.

"My friend's uncle is being possessed by a demon, Apophis. What if this brings unwanted attention to the witches in Greendale? " Sabrina said as almost everyone groaned. I can not believe she's really interrupting our seminar for this.

"That's not a concern as possessions involving Apophis rarely last long." The Father said with almost a taunting expression on his face.

"Why is that?" Sabrina asked. The Father looked at Sabrina in disbelief and stepped towards the girl.

"Apophis is a parasitic demon, also known as the devouring worm. He's feasting on your friend's uncle from the inside out, if he's alive he won't be for long." Father Blackwood responded fiercely. I looked at Nick but he was staring at Sabrina with a weird expression on his face. Again, my blood boiled.

"Then something has to be done, and fast!" Sabrina demanded.

"No need, the mortal will be gone soon." Blackwood said as Sabrina kept asking questions. I zoned out not wanting to listen to the demands Sabrina made, as if the Church of Night owned her something. Finally the seminar ended and Nick and I were stopped by the weird sisters on our way out.

"Lucresia... Nick... there's a party tonight..." Prudence started, "Down by Sweetwater river..." Agatha continued. "Be there or be square!" Dorcas exclaimed as the three girls giggled and walked off.

I looked at Nick in confusion as he chuckled. "Witch parties are nothing new around here, we don't have to go if you don't want to." Nick said sweetly.

"Nick... I want to go. I want to meet that side of you." I said as he nodded. "We'll go then." Nick said, taking my hand in his and walking out of the seminar's classroom.

"What time is the party?" I asked him as he turned to look at me, "Now." taking my hand.

We were suddenly standing at the edge of Sweetwater river. Nick smirked at me and took my hand leading me towards a small group of witches from the Academy.

I looked around and saw a few logs that served as benches and a few beer bottles on the floor. There was music playing and people dancing in groups, one of the people being Vera. This is wicked.

"You made it!" Dorcas exclaimed, Prudence and Agatha following suit. I smiled warmly at the girls, not trying to start a fight.

"Yeah I've never been to one of these. I didn't even know witches drank alcohol." I said motioning to the beer bottles in the girl's hands.

"It's not mortal alcohol, it's witch alcohol... Even better." Prudence explained walking off with the two girls behind. I turned to Nick with a surprised expression on my face.

"What do you want to do?" Nick asked me as I smiled widely.

"Let's go all the way tonight, no regrets." I whispered as he smirked and led me down to the guy that was handing out drinks.

After a few drinks I was standing by the river looking up at the stars as Nick poured me another drink.

"Hey Lucresia!" A voice chirped from behind me. I turned around to see Vera smiling at me. I smiled awkwardly and waved.

"Listen, I know things haven't really been smooth between us but I really want to be friends. It's about time I had a girl best friend." She said as I smiled. This was kind of sweet.

"Well... We can definitely hang out one of these days and see what happens..." I said as she gave me a sweet smile. It would be nice to make some new friends. Vera smiled and just walked off. I laughed as I saw Nick approaching me.

"Let's go." He said rapidly as I frowned. "Why?" I asked him as he pulled at my arm.

"Things are going to get frisky. I don't want to be here when it happens." He said pulling my arm slightly. I looked around and saw the weird sisters making out with the same boy.

"Let's go..." I laughed as we talked towards the woods.

"Something tells me you used to partake in parties like that." I said as Nick chuckled lightly.

"Used to... Not going to lie. But I got tired..." He trailed off, sitting down on a fallen tree trunk. I sat down next to him. "Why?" I asked him.

"It's just... witches are creatures of lust. We're not taught to love, it was just so wrenching not having anyone to share my life with. Until you..." He trailed off as I smiled.

"It's something out of this planet, I never thought I would want someone so much in such little time. You just... you make me want to do better." He said as I held his hand.

"Nick I feel the same. I never thought I would find this at the Academy but it just happened." I said as he smiled at me. He leaned in and kissed me with such passion, like never before.

"It's just... everything thing about you..." He trailed off looking up at the stars.

"It's like you were meant for me."
