you were like a beautiful
wild flower;
always out of plain sight
yet you had memories
within each petal which caused
endless fields-
you're so beautiful
yet i am scared to pick you
because your entire species
could disappear all by a pluck
of someone who enjoyed art-
because i always want to remember
your memory
by placing your stem and petals
inside my journal.
