a/n: Peter's over Flash bullying him and decides to finally do something about it.

Aunt May had just died from cancer last week, it was all over the news. Peter's moving in with the Avengers today. He isn't in the mood to talk and start being social again.
Peter walks down to school with his head down and hood up, everyone decides to act casual knowing that it must be hard for Peter and allowed him to start his grieving process. Peter didn't have to put in the effort in class, they all let him take the final year exams, like college. He walked down the hallway on his way to his final period of the day, and in the corner of his eye he saw Flash. "I guess that Aunt of yours didn't want you either." Everyone gasped at Flash's comment then Peter's grabbed the colar of his shirt and slammed him against the lockers, surprising Flash.
"I'm tired of your BS! Don't you ever speak a word about me or my family or you'll regret it." Peter let him down but before leaving he punched him in the face. Flash was definitely gonna have a bruise maybe even a cut there. Peter continued his day but during the beginning of his last period he was called in.

"Peter, I understand what you're going through but this gives you no reason to hit people." Peter kept
his head down staring the desk, in a slouched position. "Look I'm going to have to call your emergency contact. Tony Stark." he replied pulling out the card from Peter's folder. He dialed the number and put it on speaker.
"Who is this, this number is given to Peter and May Parker only." Tony answered sternly.
"Mr.Stark this is Principal Harrington from Midtown High."
"Is it Peter, Is he alright?"
"Certainly, Let's just say the other student isn't."
"Alright I'll be down in 5."
"Thank you Mr.Stark."

Peter sat in the main office while Tony walked into the Principal's. After he came out the only thing he said was "Let's go home." Peter followed close behind, getting into the car. "Are you alright?" Tony asked. Someone finally asked, no one had even bothered to ask if he was okay.
"No, im not." Peter replied and started weeping. Tony pulled him into a hig while Happy kept driving.
By the time they got back to the tower the other Avengers were called in.
"C-Can I go to my room?" Tony nodded and Peter walked pass the Avengers avoiding eye contact.

Peter layed in bed contemplating his life choices and how could have possibly spent more time with May. Maybe how he could have cared for her instead of being Spiderman. He even thought that maybe if he wasn't Spiderman she'd still be alive. Every night she waited for Peter and ever night he'd come home beat up, acting like everything was okay. He looked over at his phone. 4:30pm He sighed walking back into the common room where Steve and Bucky sat watching The Justice League. Bucky immediately noticed the troubled teen and called him over.
"Hey Pete! Come on over here!" Peter gave a small smile walking over to them. As they watched TV Steve noticed how Peter was constantly fazing out like he didn't even want to be there, so Steve paused the movie. "What? What was that for?" Bucky whined.
"Hey Buck, could you give us a sec?" He nodded walking into the kitchen. Peter looked over at Cap, face emotionless and stiff like a robot.
"Peter, why did you get suspended?" Peter looked up at Steve.
"I-I threatened this kid that bullied me for years then I punched him in the face." Peter turned and looked away from Steve, teary eyed.
"What did he do?" Steve kneeled in front of Peter.
"He said that Aunt May didnt want me either." Hot tears fell from Peter's eyes, his breathing became uneasy.
"Hey, uhh Peter I'm gonna need you to calm down alright?" Steve eyes widened. Peters breathing didnt change. He shot up in anger and placed his hands over his head in frustration.
"If I wasn't Spiderman, Maybe she'd be alive!" He started getting even more pissed at himself. She would lay in bed, worried about Peter.
"No no Peter it's not like tha-" Steve was interrupted when Bucky and a few other Avengers ran in the room.
"If I stopped that burglar, Uncle Ben wouldn't have died." Peter was hyperventilating.
"Why do I have to be so stupid!" He slammed his fists against the glass wall/window, breaking it in the process.
"Peter!" Tony called, Peter dropped to the floor and pulled his knees into his chest. It was like he didn't even feel it.
"It's okay..." Steve whispered handling the kid while Tony used his glasses to scan Peter's injuries. Peter pulled himself into Steve's chest. He hasn't had much of a family until the Avengers. They were one big happy family.
