~Violetta's POV~

Leon pulls his car up to the driveway of the house. It's about 7:10 a.m in the morning. My dad usually gets up 7:00. Hopefully he doesn't ask too many questions about my disappearance if he sees me sneak in...
"So, can I come inside?" Leon asks.
"What?! No!" I reply.
"Aw, why not" He makes a pouting face.
"I can't let anyone know that I've been with a guy! And besides...Why would you even want to come?" I ask looking at him weirdly.
"To meet your dad" he smiles.
"Why do you want to meet my dad?"
His smile begins to fade. "Er... Never mind I guess... No reason... I'll be going"
"Okay?"
I get out of the car and walk up to the front door.

It takes two steps inside the house for my dad to start yelling.
"VIOLETTA! Where on earth were you last night?!"
So... It seems like he noticed...
"Uhm... I was just-"
"I don't want to hear it!"
"What?! But you asked!"
"You can't make any excuses! Wherever you were, you knew you had to come back home but you never did! You almost gave me a heart attack! Therefore, you are grounded!"
"But dad!"
"No buts! Go straight to your room!"
"What is going on here?"
Angie comes in and looks at both of us worriedly.
"Just great..." I mumble sarcastically.
"Violetta! You better fix your attitude towards Angie... Now, go stay in your room! No more going out of that bedroom!"
"What?! That doesn't make any sense!"
"Go now!" My dad shouts in rage.
Angie doesn't say a word and shyly keeps her head down. I roll my eyes.
"Why can't you at least just let me explain?!" I say turning back.
I can sense my dad about to shout at me again but Angie interferes.
"German! I just remembered she was at Francesca's house for a sleepover!"
"What?" Me and my dad both say at the same time.
Angie gestures for me to go along with it.
"Uh- yeah... I was!" I hesitated.
"Yes, and she texted me to tell you that after she left the girl's party she went to Francesca's house and they were so tired so she wanted to stay! It's my fault for forgetting to tell you"
"Really?" My dad asks suspiciously.
I nod my head. "Yeah papa! I was so tired from partying with the girls....that I didn't want to drive, so...you know, I stayed just for my safety."
"Oh- uh well..."
"So she's not grounded?" Angie asks.
"I guess not... I care more about her safety than not coming home I guess"
"Yay!" I cheered.
"Sorry German, I should have told you"
"You should've, but I forgive you Angie"
He smiles and gives her a kiss on the cheek.
"So!" Angie lets out a big breath. "Should we all go out for breakfast?"
"Uh... I have got homework..." I say trying to make an excuse.
"No! Vilu! This is quality family time! Angie, that is a wonderful idea, let's go"
I sigh and manage to smile towards Angie.
"Okay Let's go I guess"
As we make our way outside, Angie looks at me and we both laugh.
"Thanks Angie... I admit-That was a pretty, good save" I say.
"Any time" she grins.
She puts her arm around my shoulder as we get into the car. For some reason, I feel closer to Angie.
