Pidge POV
When we left the hospital, Keith was totally quiet. I tried making the best of it but it seems that I made it worst. Every five minutes, I have to stop the car cause of his nauseaness. By the time we got home it was 2:12 in the afternoon, cause we left to go to the hospital 9:45 in the morning.
"You might want to stop the car." He said sitting in the passenger seat, holding his stomach that had send me a message, that he had to throw up.
"Again?" I said, like are you serious, I let out a sigh while pulling over, he open the door and ran behind some bushes. When we got home Keith was just a piece of work. Then my dad came through the door, holding a bag and tossed it to me.
"That's his medicine, it will help with pain." He went to his room, as i followed him he was on the phone talking.
"Dad, who are you talking too?" I ask from standing in the doorway, he looked up and put the on the stand.
"That was his doula." He answered, I looked at him confused. "Oh, a doula is a birthing coach, that is like a highly experienced friend who has giving many births themselves."
"So you mean, there are men doula?" I asked, looking at Keith eating a teriyaki pizza mixed anchovies and peanut butter.
"I don't know, but there something strange about this pregnancy. When he was in ultrasound, glanced and saw two marks on his neck. Like he's been got bitten by something." He said, I walked in and sat beside him. I wanted ask him another question, but, he was tired and I didn't want to bother him. But I needed to know for Keith sake.
"Dad?" I asked looking at him, he looked up like,yes. "Do you believe in vampires?" He looked up at me in shock.
"Yes." He answered. "But why you ask." He asked.
"Well you said he had two marks in his neck, besides what kind of animal will bite and leave two marks?" I asked, before my dad answer. Keith was trying to get to bed. The medicine I put in his food, probably had kicked in. It was 4:50 in the evening, I didn't even suspected it will start working this fast. So I left and put Keith to bed, he was exhausted and had a fever to 1.05 degrees. My God he's burning up.
"DAD, DAD COME QUICK!!" I yell at the to my lung, then my dad rush in at the speed of lighting. He put his hand on his Keith's forehead. Looking at him panting heavily.
"Pidge run to the bathroom, bring me a cold wet towel, and check the medicine cabinet and bring me one Tylenol." He said, as turned his head to me saying, what are you standing around for go. I ran to bathroom, grab a towel off the shelf, and tossed it into the sink full of cold water. I left the towel in the sink so it can stay wet. I searched the medicine cabinet grab the bottle of Tylenol, open it and shakes one capsule in my hand; grabbed the wet towel and ran down the hall, and gave it to my dad.
He placed the wet towel in his head and grab the thermometer, and check his temperature again watching it lower. My dad shook Keith, lightly on his shoulders to wake him up. He worked up as my dad handed Keith the pill.
"Pidge, can you bring Keith a glass of water?" I went to kitchen, and in a flash I was back in Keith's room holding a glass of full of water. I handed it to Keith, once he took the pill and swallow with water.
"What happened?" Keith asked, trying to get up.
"Well, you had a fever 10.5, and I don't know what caused it. By the way have you realize the two marks on your neck." My dad pulled up a chair and sat beside him, while I stood by the chair.
"No, I haven't realize it." Keith said, sitting up rubbing his neck.
"Have you got bitten by anything by chance?" I lean up and examined the mark. After all the hard study, I just can't make it out.
"I'm fine, look I have eight and a half of a months before I give birth. I will survive." Keith said, laying back down as he yawned, my dad and I left so he can get some rest.
Lance POV
I was getting through packing, boxes were full of paper, books, clothes and etc. I looked toward the window staring out into the sunset. While my father is eating dinner downstairs, I took the opportunity to seek out and look for Keith. I jumped off the balcony of my room, and flew over town searching for Keith and maybe are unborn baby. I headed to his place but it seen is that he was not there; there I picked up his sent a follow it until it led me to Pidge's house. When I arrived, there I saw Keith snuggle tight in bed. Luckily the window was open; I climbed through the window. I almost got stuck, compared to the fact that I got bigger throughout the years. Once I was was in, I walked over to the bed and grabbed his hand softly. Then i heared the door open, as Pidge walked in holding a bowl of soup. She was shock on the behalf of wondering, how i found them.
"Lance how you know where I was? Did you come the see Keith?" She asked, sitting the soup on the night stand and walking toward me.
"Yes, I'm here for Keith. I just want to see him... And tell him something." I said, she nodded her head with understanding. She tapped Keith arm softly. Then i heared the door open again, this time Pidge's dad walked into the room quietly.
"I think I never seen you before, and son how did you found are house?" He said kindly while stirring the soup keeping it warm, also knowing that i can tell him anything. "Young man, how do you know where Keith was?"
"I- I just knew." I would like to answer the for real, but i will like to tell Keith that first. Knowing that Keith woke up with my hand pressing against his.
"Lance what are you doing here?" He asked, I looked at them so Keith and i can have a private talk.
"Lets, give them some private time." Pidge's dad said, leading his daughter out of the room. Which mean that leaves Keith and I alone.
"Keith, there....something I have to tell you." I said pulling up a chair near the bed, he looked at me as i sat down.
"No, no... I have to tell you something." He said looking at me, then his hands started to shake.
"Are you sure?" I asked, he nodded his head, I lifted his head gently with my finger tears running down his face. He took a deep breathe and spoke his mind.
"I'm p.....pregnant." His face fell into my hands. "The only thing I remember was me, being at your house two mark mysterious appear on my neck." He said sobbing.
"I don't know how to tell you this but, I cause you pregnancy." I ruin his life and i will never forgive myself.
"What do you mean?" He asked
"This is what happen, you were drunk and passed out behind the salad bar. Once i found out, i told my butler to take you to my room. I removed your shirt and drain the achocol from your blood stream. Which is why those mark appeared on your neck." I said and looked at him. "I'm sorry I cause this." My eyes being to fill with water, while Keith continue sobbing.
"Can i take a look at your stomach?" I ask, trying not to cry he shrugged his shoulders and lifted up his shirt, revealing to me his bulge. I gently kissed it.
"I'm really scared about being pregnant... I mean, what if somethung happens and i can't give birth to it? Or something else bad happen?" Keith asked in a worried tone. I held his hand until are eyes met.
"You are a brave person. We can do this..and now there's something I want to tell you the first day i met you at Garrisons." I paused. "I'm a vampire. And thats the whole truth." I said, as i stroked his hair. "We can survive this...togther.
"Okay, y'all two can come in now. I'm not crazy to know that y'all two were listened at the door." They open the door and share a grin.
"We weren't listening, we were walking down the hall, until are shoe laces came untied and couldn't help of hearing you and Keith talking." Pidge said, lying with a grin. And Pidge's dad asked a question.
"Son, would you like to sleep in the guest room? if you plan on stayibg here for the night."
"No thanks, I'll stay with Keith." I said, they left the room with a smile on their face.
I couldn't believe I told Keith my secret. Not to mention he's pregnant with my baby. I'm happy and scared at the same time, but we can make it.
"Keith, my father wants me to move back to Romania. And I refused to go. I'm not going to leave you. I love you." I never expressed my feelings to anyone before.
"I love you too." He said, with a smile. "If your different or not." Then I heared a rumble from his stomach.
"Are you hungry." I asked, he nodded his head."You want to see something a vampire can do?" I led him outside and the moon was full. Shining like fireflies in the sky.
"Sure." He said, I put my arms around his waist and spread my wings. And flew off in the night, watching street lights twinkle from below. It was a sight to behold.
