Leaves fell off the tress, hitting the lush green grass, as they changed their colour to a brownish shade. The cold breezes hit the city signaling winters nearing comeback. The breezes felt colder than usual for Jungkook. His empty eyes stared at the figure before as she got a her check up done.
Everything felt like a joke to him. Everyone around him felt unreal, including his existence which felt surreal. He let out a bitter laugh as he looked at the girl.
The room held a tensed aura. Everyone squinting their eyes worriedly as it shifted from the doctor to the girl who remained oblivious.
The doctor sighed as he got rid of all the medical appliances and made his way towards the anticipated audience. Everyone slightly flinched as the doctor did. The doctor signalled them to head outside with him and they followed.
"Jungkook let's go?" Taehyung asked
Jungkook did not move an inch and maintained eye contact with the girl who refused to recognise him a while ago. His eyes blazing digging holes into her soul.
She shifted uncomfortably as she felt his stare. She could not make out as to why he was staring at her this way.
After being shook a few times Jungkook finally broke the eye contact and looked at his friend. He directed his head towards the door. Jungkook took message and got up, eyes staring at her as he left the room.
"So doctor what happened exactly?" Baekhyun asked getting anxious
"Well she is still has minor injuries but it's miraculous that she did not have any permanent physical damage. It's a pretty rare case. However, the accident most probably caused her to hit her head in a inconvenient position and consequently, this has caused damage to her brain" He paused
"Thus leading to memory loss" He finished
The boys before him had a look of horror printed on their faces. One person just maintained a blank expression without a word.
The three other boys looked at Jungkook only to be met by his cold expression with no emotion flashing through.
"Jungkook....it's okay" Jimin said
Jungkook let out yet another bitter chuckle. He rolled his eyes as the chuckle left his mouth.
"It's okay?" He questioned sardonically
"She will be okay! She will remember you!" Taehyung said trying to comfort
"Remember me?" Jungkook asked laughing
"SHE FUCKING DOESN'T REMEMBER HERSELF AND YOU EXPECT HER TO REMEMBER ME?" He said screaming as tears fell down his eyes
"YOU EXPECT HER TO REMEMBER EVERYTHING JUST TO GET REMINDED I AM THE ONE WHO CAUSED IT?!"
All three of them looked down. The doctor had left to check up on Y/N.
"Well if you think carefully, it's positive in a way" Jimin blurted out
"How so?" Baekhyun asked completely confused in a way
"She doesn't remember anything meaning she does not even remember the things that happened the past years" Jimin said
"Which means Jungkook you have a chance to start fresh with her! Cause she does not remember the pain you caused her" Taehyung said
Everyone looked at him with amusement. They looked at each other and nodded.
Jungkook stood there blankly staring at the floor as he barely listened to anybody. There was only one thing that was running through his mind.
'She lost her memory and it's my fault'
"Prove yourself to me Jungkook, that your worthy of my sister. This is your chance" Baekhyun said
The fact that his sister does not remember him anymore broke him. But he decided not to fall apart and take it positively. This was the opportunity to let his sister live a life without pain and he would make sure of it.

The thunder started to rumble as it bought along the rain with it. The wind was racing fast enough to make the surroundings dance with it. The trees enjoyed a refreshed feeling as the rain kissed their leaves while the skyscrapers bonded with the heavy clouds of autumn.
The sight was mesmerising yet Y/N could not enjoy it as intended. A feeling of uneasiness and horror was bothering her as she shifted uncomfortably in her bed. The rain had caused her to feel as if something unfortunate had happened, like ill luck taking over her life. It's been two weeks since she woke up but she spent it resting.
The autumn gave off a cold wind. Y/N snuggled herself into the silk sheet, as the greyish soft material provided her the warmth. The door creaked open signalling that someone has intruded her time. Her head shot at the door as one of the guys from earlier had entered the room. He has been checking up on her these days without any extra words.
The guy was quite tall, brunette hair parted, honey like skin. His eyes gave off a look of concern and warmth. His aura is so unknown yet it felt oddly familiar for Y/N
"How are you feeling now?" He asked
"I am okay but if you don't mind me asking who are you?" She asked bewildered
"I am Baekhyun. Since you don't remember anything, you don't remember me either. I am your elder brother" He explained
"Oh.... no wonder you feel familiar" She said squinting her eyes
Baekhyun let out a chuckle seeing his sister trying to act suspicious but is eventually returning to her old self. He is just glad that her face does not look as depressed as before.
"Yes! Let me tell you another thing that your nickname is chubs from my side! So be ready as I might be calling you that often!" Baekhyun exclaimed
"Chubs... that also sounds familiar but I can't remember anything" She said trying to recall
"It's okay don't put pressure on yourself and take rest hmm? I will be leaving" Baekhyun said patting her head
She nodded making Baekhyun flash a soft smile at her. She smiled back at him, making his heart flutter from comfort.
Baekhyun turned around to leave. However, he was stopped by a pair of hands being wrapped around his waist. He looked down only to see Y/N hugging his waist.
"Y/N...." He whispered
"Take this as an apology for not remembering you" She said looking up
He turned around and sat beside her with tears in his eyes. He took his sister's small face into his hands as he placed a soft kiss on her forehead.
"No problem chubs. I still love you" He said giving a smile
She giggled at him. He was more than thankful to have a sister like her. Though it pained that she did not remember him but for now he was glad it happened.
"You have to go to university from tomorrow..." Baekhyun mentioned
"I am in a university?" She asked
"Yes and you have to start from tomorrow! You missed out a lot of classes since you were sick" He explained
Y/N nodded.
"So since you will get busy with studies from tomorrow shall we have a movie night today?" He asked wriggling his eyebrows
Y/N chuckled and answered
"Sounds fun wouldn't mind"

The sunlight made it's way through the window as it lightened up the room. After a gloomy day of heavy rainfall the sun finally made its comeback. The sunlight reflected on the glassy drops of rainwater making them shine.
Y/N stretched her arms as she felt herself in a good mood. Brushing her teeth while humming a soundtrack from the movie she saw yesterday. Finishing, she put on a pair of white sneakers with a maroon sweatshirt and black pant. She was overall excited for the day.
She got out of the room only to be greeted by a smiling Baekhyun cooking pancakes. He smiled at her as she sat down by the kitchen counter smiling back.
"Excited?" Baekhyun asked serving
"If speak in a mathematical way 60% excited and 40% nervous" she said
Baekhyun gave a look of disbelief.
"Your seriously bringing maths in this?" He said annoyed
Y/N shrugged it off and dug into the pancakes. Baekhyun shook his head while chuckling. After they were done, Baekhyun drove her to the university. He wanted it make sure that she is safe and decided from now onwards, he shall drop her and pick her up.
As they reached she got out of the car after hugging him.
"Bye!" She said waving
"Adios!" Baekhyun replied
Y/N rolled her eyes at him and left him chucking to himself. Baekhyun went into the contacts and dialed the intented number. He patiently waited for the person to pick up which it did after few rings.
Baekhyun : I dropped her off. Take care of her please...
??? : It's my responsibility to do so
Baekhyun : Please maintain it
