"No fair! You cheated!" Jeno yelled out playfully at his girlfriend. "I could've had my kiss!" He yelled out even louder.
(Y/N) had promised him a kiss if he beat her in Air Hockey but he lost and was now a little pissed about it. He tried his hardest to win and to earn that kiss.
At the moment they both were at an arcade with some friends but they had strayed away from their friends to have some alone time. "All's fair in Air Hockey," she smiled cheekily towards Jeno making him pout. She giggled at his face. "It's okay Jeno, here I'll give you a kiss anyway." She said and laughed as his expression lit up.
Just as her lips were about to meet his they could hear the screaming voices of their friends. "Guys! Look! They're about to kiss!" Jaemin yelled as he pointed at the two like a little kid. The couple looked at him, annoyed since they both wanted that kiss.
"Great job, Jaemin! You ruined the mood, I really wanted that kiss too..." Jeno mumbled that last part as he crossed his arms. (Y/N) linked their hands together and kissed his cheek making his sour face go away. "You guys are so cute together!" Mark gushed and stared at the two of you.
Jaemin began to squeal. "AH! My ship is sailing!" He yelled and hopped around. (Y/N)'s face turned a slight pink color and she looked away. "Shush!" She grumbled making Jeno look at her with that eye-smile of his.
"Aww, you're so cute when your flustered!" He cooed and pinched her cheek making her swat his hands away. They began to continue with their walk around the arcade while looking at the games around them.
They were beginning to get bored of walking around since there weren't any really hard games. The two sat down on a bench and began to talk to each other while the others split up and played their own games. While (YN) looked around at the arcade in front of them with all the flashing lights and kids running around having fun, Jeno admired her features from the side.
He twirled her hair around his fingers and stared at the side of her face as he felt his heart warming at the sight of her. He truly and deeply fell for her head first. Soon she noticed him staring and looked back at him as well.
He gave her a small smile and he leaned in to give her a kiss on her cheek. "Love you~." He said and smiled his adorable eye-smile, making (Y/N) blush. She looked away with a smile on her face.
"You're making my face burn up, stop it," he smiled even more just hearing her response. He grabbed onto her hand and held it in his. "Are you having fun here?" He said making (Y/N) look towards him. She shook her head no. "Then lets go somewhere fun," he stood up from his seat and held his hand out to her. "There's a nearby frozen yogurt place, let's go there." (Y/N) nodded and placed her hand in his.
They both began to walk out of the arcade making sure that none of their friends were around so that they wouldn't see them. They really just wanted to be alone, together. Just the two of them.
"You know," she began to speak. "It's weird how we went through all that time without knowing that we liked each other," he turned to her and nodded.
"Yeah, I would've never known if you hadn't beat me in that dodgeball game." He smiled softly. He squeezed her hand. "I actually feel happy about losing something for once."
She laid her head down on his shoulder and sighed. "God, my friends would get so fed up with me, all I did was talk about you for two years straight!" He smiled and his face turned a light red. "I was really, really, really whipped for you, my friends were just ready for me to actually ask you out." She giggled a bit as she thought about all the times her friends would try to push her into Jeno.
"The guys were the same way, they'd tease me because there were times when you would walk by and I would just get so timid," she chuckled and looked up at him. "I didn't know what to say whenever you would come around, I would just shut down." His face was getting hotter and hotter by the second.
"It's weird to know that we're dating now after all we did when we weren't." She said and looked ahead once again. "We used to not be able to talk to each other but look at us now, holding hands while on date." His face flared up whenever she called this a date. Even though they were dating she could still make him flustered.
"So we're on a date right now?" he teased. He smiled since he saw her face turn a slight red color. She playfully punched his shoulder.
She didn't know she had said that, it kind of just slipped out. "S-Shut up!" She giggled a bit and he laughed at her.
"You're just so cute whenever you're flustered, I love teasing you," he squeezed her hand and she smiled, leaning into him.
Soon they walked up to a small and colorful yogurt shop. They both walked inside and were greeted by the staff. (Y/N) was quick to hurry up to the yogurt station, immediately going to the salted caramel flavored yogurt.
Jeno laughed at how excited she was and began to make his own yogurt, starting off with the cake batter flavor. (Y/N) was already onto flooding her cup with sprinkles while Jeno was still picking a second flavor.
(Y/N) finally made it to the cash register while Jeno was just now getting to the topping section. "What's taking you so long?" she walked over to him with her cup in her hand. He was too busy debating between chocolate syrup or hot fudge.
"Which one do you think I should get?" he asked her and pointed between the two.
"I think chocolate syrup would be good, it's the one I put on mine so I guess it's good?" he nodded and reached for the chocolate syrup and drizzled it over the yogurt.
They both stood up the cashier with money to pay for their cups. "Let me pay, it's our first date, I want to be a gentleman." Jeno said, making (Y/N) pout.
"But, I don't want to owe you any money." she said and began to give her money to the cashier, but Jeno quickly caught her hand and gave the cashier his money instead.
"No, I want to treat you tonight, you don't have to owe me any money," he said and the cashier took his money. "you're my girlfriend after all," he smiled towards her. "what kind of boyfriend would I be making my girlfriend pay on our first date?"
The cashier handed him his change and they went to go sit in the lounge. (Y/N) stared at Jeno while he ate his yogurt, making him look up from the cup in front of him to look at her. "What's wrong?" She shrugged.
"You're so nice," he put his spoon back down in his cup and straightened up. "every date that I've been on, I paid for it and not once has any guy stopped me." he looked at her confused.
"How many dates have you been on?" he asked her to which she shook her head.
"Not that many, but," she looked down at the cup in front of her. "they were all to get rid of my feelings for you, but they just kept coming back every time I just looked at you." Jeno looked a bit shocked after hearing her words.
"I thought you didn't like me since we always competed in everything, no matter what we did." she smiled softly. "But look at us now, we're out together, like together together." she picked her spoon up and picked up a scoop of yogurt. "Just thinking about it makes me get all excited and jittery." she said and smiled.
"I thought you wouldn't like me either, I've tried to think about liking someone else but I really couldn't," he looked down at his yogurt cup. "One look at you and I was back to square one."
"You remember whenever we were picking teams for the dodgeball game, well I kind of hoped coach didn't pick me as a team captain." He said making (Y/N) look up at him.
"Why?" she asked. He looked back up at her and stared into her eyes. "I just wanted to be on your team so instead of competing against each other we could play together." he smiled.
(Y/N) leaned on his shoulder, the beanbag underneath her shifting a bit. "But if that didn't happen we wouldn't be here together? Right?" she said smiled at him.
"I guess so," he smiled and cuddled a bit closer to her.
"Do you think the guys realized that we're gone?" she asked him. He shrugged a bit.
"I don't think so, they're probably too busy having fun—." But Jeno couldn't even finish talking since he heard the bell at the front door ring. They both looked towards the door and were pretty disappointed.
The boys had finally found them. "HA! We found you guys!" Jaemin called and plopped himself in a beanbag across from the two. Chenle laughed his way to the beanbag that was next to Jaemin.
"Sorry, they insisted in finding you guys," Mark said and sat down in the empty beanbag next to (Y/N). "I couldn't stop
them."
Jisung and Renjun shared one beanbag since there weren't anymore left for the both of them. Now their night was filled with laughter and lively conversations, instead of Jeno and (Y/N) getting sentimental with each other.
"Maybe next time we'll just go out by ourselves..." (Y/N) whispered to Jeno. He nodded and kissed her lips softly.
But of course that didn't slip across Jaemin. "Oh my GOD, THey KisSeDd aGaiNn?????" he called out in a weird voice making everyone laugh.
