Chapter 21: Hunnimoon Shopping
ELLAs POV
We didn't do it last night because of the promise but we certainly had enough fun without needing to. I woke up facing Jake in his arms. I smiled. We were still in our underwear. I snuggled into his chest to rest my head against it. I slowly closed my eyes and ended up drifting back to sleep.
I was woken later by little butterfly kisses down my neck. I let out a little giggle and opened my eyes into Jakes. He kissed my noes and then rested his head on mine.
"What's the plan for today?" I asked sleepily not really caring what the answer would be.
"To stay in bed with you all day and not having to get up" Jake replied with a wink.
"Sounds good to me" I agreed and pulled his lips to mine kissing them softly.
"I don't think that there is much left to do. The house is being made and the furniture is chosen. Also I have got quite a few things done for the wedding" I said breaking the kiss.
"Oh really? Am I allowed to know?" I chuckled and shook my head. But then maybe I could tell him the cake.
"Well we are having a banoffee cake and then one tower of white chocolate. Me and the girls tried it out when we dressed shopped the other day. Jake you're going to love it" he nodded in approval.
"Sounds lovely. I just wish the date was soon so I could break this promise of ours" I let out a girly giggle, thinking about it brought a smile to my face, making it grow from ear to ear. "Ella, have we got everything done?" Jake asked after a few moments of silence. I nodded, I was pretty sure that we did. "Ella I don't mean to sound edgy or anything but, have you got music, and tables and chairs, and a dance floor or a dj?" my eyes flew wide. I hadnt even thought of that. Jake saw my worried face and caressed it with his hand.
"I hadn't even thought of those, how could I forget. I was too worked up on the dress and..." I was cut off
"Shhhh, baby it's ok. I can sort it out. It's not a problem. Anyway the table and chairs are coming from Conner. He knows someone and offered if it would help us out. And he gave me a number for a good dj" I sighed in relief. Thank goodness.
"But that still leaves catering and a dance floor" I let my eyes drop.
"And that's ok, we have time. We can do that today" I nodded. He pulled my face up and kissed my lips passionately letting out tongues lock together as the moved. My body moulded into his as the grip around my waist tightened.
Jake had just put the phone down from booking our dj and I was looking up catering. I found one lady called Phoebe who seemed good for the job. It says that she is good for weddings, christening, big parties and funerals. She sounded good for the job. I picked up the phone and dialed her number. She picked up on the second ring.
Jakes POV
I watched Ella talk to a lady about catering our wedding. Phoebe I think her name was. She seemed very experienced on her website; Ella picked out a good person.
After she was finished talking she held a smile across her face. "Is she booked?" I asked even though I could already tell what the answer was.
"Yes she is. And she has her own waitresses so that is one less thing we will need to find" I walked over to her and picked her up, snaking my arms around her waist.
"I can't wait for this wedding" I stated with a happy/excited smile.
"Me too" Ella agreed and softly my lips were in contact with hers; parting every now and then for air.
"I think that is everything sorted don't you?" I asked pulling away from the long kiss. She pulled a thinking face and finished with a cheeky smile.
"Well yes... but not everything is done that I wanted to be done" she admitted and I gave her my confused look but saw a hint of lust in her eyes and knew where she was coming from.
"Baby you know my rule. Or that stupid rule I made up" she nodded her head sadly but agreed. It hurt me too that I had even come up with it. But we had agreed however as we neared the wedding, the more and more harder it was to not be so close to her. That excitement would have to wait for the hunnimoon.
I leaned down and kissed her cheek. "Try not to think of it. I don't want to see you sad. Think about all the time we will have together. I won't be leaving your side" I whispered in her ear. I felt her smile and then she pulled out of my arms. I gave her a look that said what-was-that-for and she smiled.
"We need a distraction. So why don't we go shopping?" I raised my eyebrows. Really? Shopping? It's a day of just us and she decided that to distract ourselves would be to go shopping. Ella saw my slightly unhappy face and spoke again. "Oh come on Jake. We could get some clothes for the hunnimoon. I could do with a new bikini and flip flops, also a few new bits and pieces won't hurt. Besides its not just about me, we can get you stuff too." she said cheerfully and I smiled. She had a point, I could do with some stuff for the beach and what not.
"Okay but when I get bored and tired of carrying the bags can we leave" I asked and she happily nodded.
After about five minutes we were in the car on the way to the mall. When we arrived we went from shop to shop trying on different clothes and shoes suitable for our hunnimoon. Thankfully we had a lunch break at Costa coffee for a drink and a toasted sandwich.
"Okay Jake so we still need to get me a bikini and you some shorts, right?" she asked and I agreed after putting away or tray. I took he hand in mine while we carried the bags in our other. We found a shop for girls beach stuff. It was called something like 'Girls Surff' I sat on a seat outside the changing rooms and waited while Ella went to try on her chosen bikini's.
The first one was a bright orange one that I didn't like. The second was a sky blue color with white frills. I liked that one and suited Ella very well. Next was a pale yellow with silver rims which was nice by not the best. It was the last one which was my ultimate favorite though. It was white with a pink flower pattern on the left cup and a pink ring on the left side of the bikini pants. I smiled widely when she showed me and knows that, that was the one to get. She picked it up along with the sky blue bikini and handed the other two which were not so good to the lady, once she had come out of the changing room.
"Like my choice?" she asked handing the items onto the paying desk. I nodded with a wide smile.
"love your choice" I corrected her and she returned my smile.
"Nice pick you have here. Anything special?" the man at the till asked scanning the bar codes on the bikini's. I saw him flash Ella a cheeky smile and I swallowed a growl run through me. Although he looked about 25 he still held lust in his eyes for my girl who was clearly taken. Before Ella had a chance to reply I did it for her quickly.
"It's for our hunnimoon" I spoke flatly out to him finishing with a hard glare. He looked up and sent a flat line to his lips pressing them together.
We paid and got out the shop. "Jacob you need to chill down. He was only asking a question" she cooed and I looked down to her with a softer look.
"Ella did you not see the way he was looking at you?"
"No Jake and that's because I didn't care how he was looking at me. I couldn't care less on what he thinks all I care about is you. Your on my mind 24/7 and it never stops. I have always ignored the flirty comments when I lee you and liked you all those years before we actual started dating" she broke out and my face relaxed into a soft smile. I kissed her cheek and replied with
"Thank you. I will stop feeling to jealous now. Cus your mine and that won't ever change" I said and sealed it with a light kiss.
"Never ever" Ella whispered and I smiled.
After another hour we were thankfully back in the car. Ella let out a relaxing sigh and I took her hand giving it a little squeeze. our eyes met and we shared a moment before I sped off down the road back to my dads house.
Ella POV
There was a comfortable silence back. I stared out the window thinking that soon I will change my life and it will be the best decision that has ever happened to me. We drove past the forest which will soon be mine and Jakes home. "Not long now Ella" Jake spoke breaking my thought. I looked over to him and smiled. "Just another week and the house will be ready for us. Just you and me" I was so excited to have a house with Jake and then just a month later we will be getting married. Then we would have our perfect romantic hunnimoon.
"I can't wait. I am so excited" I told him and he smiled warmly at me.
"Me too Ella. It will be our place" I leaned over and placed a kiss on his cheek.
"Just us" I promised.
When we arrived at Jakes dads house I was pretty shattered. I put my stuff in Jakes room and then went to sit on the sofa j the living room. Jake made us some chicken tikka curry with nam bread. We sat down at the table with a candle in the center. Jacob was a very good cook and his chicken tikka curry was my favorite and I was greatful he chose to make it again.
After dinner I gave Jake a thoughtful thank you sealing it with a long kiss. "Want to watch a movie?" I asked sitting into his lap on the sofa.
"Sure thing" he answered and turned on the TV. The film started and it wasn't long until I fell asleep in his arms.
