Emily's Pov.
"Hey, Emily!" Abby said to me while entering Xavier's house.
Today was Sunday and Xavier didn't go to work. I'm still mad at him for what he did yesterday. Yes I know I'm dramatic but I don't care.
I ignored him all day today and now it's six in the evening. I was currently sitting on the couch while reading a book. Xavier was up in his 'home' office which I've never heard about.
"Hey" I replied in a bored tone. I look up to her and my eyes scanned for Cable. "Where's Caleb?"
"He's out with his dad having a father-son day" she replied and I nodded while placing my book on the table. "Are you okay because you don't look so"
"No" I replied and she looked at me with worried eyes as she took a seat next to me.
"What's the matter? Did Xavier do something to you!!?" She freaked out and I had to shush her before replying.
"Well....yes but he didn't hurt me in that way," I said to her and removed my hands, that I was using to shush her, away from her mouth.
"What did he do?"
I took a deep breath and told her everything.
"Oh no he didn't," she said. She was just as angry as and me.
"Yes, he did" I replied while faking and a cry.
"It's okay! I'll take you somewhere to get your mind off stuff," she said while wiping my fake tears away.
"Okay," I said to her while suddenly changing my expression to a happy one.
"Let me go talk to Xavier first," she said to me and I nodded before she disappeared off into the stairs.
A few minutes later she came downstairs again with a sad expression on her face. "What did he say?"
"He wants you to talk to him" she replied and I growl before walking up the stairs and stood in front of his office door. I give it two knocks and then heard him say 'come in'
I walked into his office and stood in front of him and he looked up at me. "Want something?" He asked.
"Yes. Abby wants to take me out and I want to ask you if I can go" I responded while folding my arms.
"And why do you think I should let you go?" he asked while leaning back in his chair and raising an eyebrow at me.
"Because if you don't, I'll be more angry at you" I replied and he slowly nodded.
"Okay, let's make a deal," he said and I hold back the urge to roll my eyes.
"What is it?"
"You.....stop being mad at me and I'll let you go," he said and I silently glare at him.
"What will be it?" He asked after some time of silence between both of us.
Should I agree?
"I think it's a good deal. I mean Cody doesn't even know you exist" my conscious said and I felt like beating the hell out of her.
"......"
"Come on say yes!" My conscious yelled at me and I sigh.
"Whatever" I agreed and saw him smile.
"Good. Tell Abby she can take you out and dress appropriately" he said to me and I nodded before leaving.
I walked down the stairs and Abby literally run to me waiting for my reply. "What did he say?"
"Yes" I replied and she jumped in excitement.
"Come on girl! We're gonna have so much fun!!" She said excitedly and we both went and changed. I wore ripped jeans and a black off-the-shoulder top that I tucked in my pants. Sliding on my block heels, I let my hair down and exit the bedroom.
"Ready?" She asked when I saw her popped out of nowhere. She was wearing a red dress that was to her knees.
"Ready," I said to her and we both walk down the stairs and into her car.
"So where are we going?"I asked after a little while.
"To grab a drink." She responded while stopping at the red light. I nodded my head and looked out the window.
After a few minutes, we pulled up at a bar and we both exit the bar before heading inside.
We sat at the counter and waited for the waiter to come and serve us. "How may I help you lovely ladies?" A guy asked as he approaches us. He was wearing an apron so I assumed he was a bartender.
"Can I have a tequila?" Abby said to him and he nodded before turning to me.
"And you?"
"Umm...." I've never drink before.
Should I choose water or a soda or should I choose alcohol?
"Alcohol. You should try new stuff" my conscious said and I nodded my head before turning to the bartender.
"I'll have the same" I ordered and he nodded before he walked away
He later returned with two glass of tequila and place them before us. "Enjoy your drinks," he said and went off of serving more people while we both sat there.
I took up my glass and took one big mouthful unaware that that's not how people drink alcohol. I placed the glass down squirming while looking at my glass. I've already drunk half of the glass.
I turned to look at Abby and saw her looking at me with her mouth dropped open and her eyes wide open. "What?" I asked.
"Have you ever drink alcohol before?" She asked after she closed her mouth and I shook my head no.
"Then why did you ordered Alcohol?" She asked.
"I can't?" I asked confused.
"Well you can but you don't drink that much, you're supposed to sip on it" she responded to my question and I nodded my head.
"I'm sorry. I'll sip" I said and picked my glass up before taking a sip of it a placing the glass back down while squirming. "Like that?" I asked.
"Yes. Now don't let me see you doing that again, okay?" She said and I nodded.
We sat there drinking our drinks while chatting. I've been feeling a little tipsy, if that's what they call it when you're a little drunk, a few minutes ago. I'm okay though, I think.
I suddenly felt myself becoming relaxed and I found myself talking more than before. I felt free, I felt happy like I can shout on the top of my voice.
"Did I tell you he give me a hickey?" I asked Abby and she looked at me with a wide eye.
"Keep quiet" she shushes me and I laughed out loud.
"He usually calls me gattino. I wonder what that means... I don't get why he keeps talking to me in Italian!" I said out loud while Abby tries to shush me.
"Can you believe this?! He freaking smack my ass!!" I said out loud again and Abby bends her head in embarrassment while I laughed.
"Why are you hiding Abby?" I asked while pulling her head up.
Ping!
My notification went off and I opened my phone to see Xavier's text.
Xavier--be back by eight.
And I replied to him with random letters while laughing out.

I looked at my time and saw it was 7:53 already. Cutting off my phone and I placed it in my purse.
"Can I have another glass of tequila?" I lift my hands and ordered but was cut off by Abby.
"No more drinks Emily. You're drunk...God Xavier's gonna kill me" she mumbled to herself and I looked at her with sad eyes.
"No, he won't. I will protect you" I said while shielding her body. "Don't touch her!! I'm her shield. I'll protect her!" I shouted and Abby quickly covered my mouth.
"Shh!!..." she said and I nodded my head before she removed her hands and sigh out in frustration. "I'm never letting you drink again" she mumbled and I cried.
"No....you can't do this to me! I love my tequila" I cried and she sighs again while rubbing her temples.
"Okay, that's it. We're going home now" she said while grabbing her purse and I shook my head no.
"I don't want to go home," I said to her while pouting at her.
"Xavier is gonna come to get you if we don't," she said but I still shook my head no.
"I don't want to see him. I want to be here!! I like to be here!!!" I cried and she sighs again. "Why do you sigh this much?" I asked while wiping my eyes.
"Come on Emily..." she said--plead and I still shook my head no.
"I don't want to go...I like---"
"Shit!" She cut me off while looking over my shoulders and I turned around to met with dark grey eyes.
