Eddie's Pov
"Well how do I look?" Y/n said as she walked in front of me. I couldn't help but stare. She had a beautiful royal blue dress on. It accented her body shape perfectly.
"Shit...Y/n you look amazing," I replied taking it in. She had a wide smile on her face. I couldn't help but zone out for a moment as she asked me a question. "Oh uh yeah yeah sure." She practically dragged me outside before hopping on my bike. On the front of my bike to be specific. That's when I realized what she had asked.
"Can I drive your motorcycle. Please I swear I won't wreak it!"
She was very clever. I just handed her the keys and got on the back. After all it's only a block down. What's the harm in letting her drive that far. If anything happens V and I could easily take-
She gunned it laughing excitedly. Instinctively I held onto her waist. Then she missed the turn. Y/n drove down another block before turning deciding just to loop back. As she pulled into the alley next to my apartment she had a wild smile on her face.
"It's been too long since I've done that!" Y/n said with a happy laugh. I looked at her as I got off the bike.
"I thought you couldn't ride a motorcycle?" I asked confused. "Why didn't you tell me?" She chuckled awkwardly as she rubbed the back of her neck.
"I thought I wouldn't be able to ride another one since I had to sell mine. But just being back on it yesterday and today. I couldn't help but want to drive it!" I shook my head with a chuckle as we started walking up to my apartment.
"Maybe my place won't look too bad," I said with a smile. She was very cute when she was excited.
Glad we agree on something.
I unlocked the door waving to the rocker that lived next door. He pointed at Y/n and gave me a thumbs up. Oh shit he thinks we-
"Well let me just go take my shower and get dressed for the interview Y/n," I said a bit louder than I needed to. Partly so that the guy would take the hint but also so I could remind myself of the task at hand.
"Okay. I'm just gonna...chill out I guess." Y/n said chuckling. I nodded as I shut the door behind me. She sat on the couch as I went to my bathroom. After taking my shower I dried off and tied my towel against my waist. Then I walked to my room to grab some clothes. I put on a nice shirt and tie before grabbing some boxers.
Eddie?
"Yeah V?"
The door.
I turned around to see Y/n covering her nose blushing bright red. My face started flushing as I quickly pulled up my pants.
"Oh god I am so sorry! I guess I'm just used to it only being me and V around here and I," I kept rambling on as I got dressed. Y/n ran to the bathroom and came back with some toilet paper. Finally I walked out ready to go. I had on a black button up with a royal blue tie to match Y/n.
"You look great Eddie!" She said with a smile and a slightly red face. My face flushed again. "Oh uh do you happen to have an extra jacket I could borrow...just in case?"
"Yeah of course. Here it's not the nicest one I have but it shouldn't be too high either," I replied handing her my black leather jacket. She smiled and put it on. She looked...adorable. We walked outside and I drove to the restaurant. Nick was waiting for us at the front.
"Hey you guys! It's so great to meet you!" He said excitedly hugging us. Y/n looked like she could explode from excitement. "Oh and don't worry about calling me Mr. Kroll or anything just call me Nick." We nodded as the three of us were lead to a table.
"So Nick what made you choose this place?" I asked sitting down. He chuckled.
"Well to be honest the food here is great. It's in a nice area yet not a lot of people come here." He replied. We all looked at the menus before placing our order's one by one. Finally Y/n piped up.
"What was it like making big mouth? I mean its an amazing and hilarious show." She said eyes full of excitement. I smiled at her enthusiasm.
"Well it was crazy I mean working with John is great. Making all those voices is really fun too. Especially the hormone monster." Nick answered doing his hormone monster voice. We laughed along as we continued the interview. Then the food arrived.
Y/n's Pov
"Oh my god this is delicious!" I exclaimed almost drooling from the taste of my steak. Eddie smiled wide at his own food. I saw a little blob form on his shoulder and my eyes went wide. I looked towards the ground trying to give Ven a hint to go down. As soon as he disappeared I subtly dropped a bit of my own steak down to him. Eddie gave me a confused look before his expression changed again.
"Thank you," a gruff mixture of Eddie and Venom's voices. Nick choked on his drink.
"Woah you gotta name for that voice?" Oh thank god he thinks it's a character Eddie can do. Eddie chuckled rubbing the back of his neck.
"I guess I call it...Para," he said with a grin. I giggled knowing where the name was coming from. He won't here the end of that later. "Well if you two will excuse me for a moment, I'm going to the restroom." He walked of as Nick and I finished the questions and just started talking. Then there was a loud thud from the main door.
"Where is she!? I know she's here!" A voice yelled. A voice I was all too familiar with. There was a click of a gun before I pulled Nick under the table silently.
"What's going on?" Nick whispered. I quickly started pulling things out of my bag. Some jeans, a t-shirt, a beanie, and Eddie's jacket. Hopefully this will work. I pulled the pants on beneath my dress and turned to Nick.
"I think...this guy's looking for trouble. Could you close your eyes for about a minute?" I asked. He looked confused for a moment before nodding and closing his eyes. I pulled my dress up on and off before sliding the t-shirt on. Pulling the jacket and beanie on I decided to add two last things. There was a stippling brush and some darker contour cream in my bag for this reason. I gave myself some fake stubble before looking to Nick. "Convincing?" He nodded as I put on the final touch some sunglasses. Slowly I got out from under the table holding my hands up.
"HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" The guy yelled. I recognized his face. It was him. The one thing I tried to run away from. Franco. I tried to lower my voice as I spoke.
"Whoever you're looking for isn't here man. Just put the gun down."
"Fuck no! I ain't putting this thing down. How am I supposed to know you aren't going to shoot me the second I put this down?" Franco yelled back. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Eddie opening the bathroom door. Franco quickly turned the gun to him. "Babydoll you better come out! Or this guy gets it!" Eddie froze for a moment. I felt my heart pounding. I was not going to let this asshole hurt him. Not after everything he's done for me. I moved closer. Franco turned the gun to me. I didn't flinch as I kept moving.
"Let the civilians go. And I'll bring the girl out. Just don't hurt anyone got it." I growled voice almost going higher. Franco grumbled.
"Get the FUCK OUTTA HERE THEN," he yelled before all the others ran out the door. I turned my back to Franco as I took my sunglasses off to make eye contact with Eddie. I mouthed the word go with a smile. He shook his head. I frowned at him and and did it again. Then I turned to face Franco.
"What do you want from me Franco. I told you I wanted nothing to do with you!" I said getting all up in his face. He laughed.
"I should have known that was you. Hell you always were thinking up some plan to hide from me. But know I've found you again," he said with a smug look. I frowned as I went to swing at him. He aimed the gun to my gut jabbing my wound with the end of it. I winced.
"Get the fuck away from her," I heard Venom growl as they slung a tendril around the end of the gun. Franco turned and frowned.
"The fuck is that?" He said. Venom pulled me over towards them away from the gun. Franco fired as Venom shielded me. That's when he panicked and shot the breaker box. Everything went pitch black as they held me close. I peaked out and Franco was gone.
"Venom, thank you. Nick got out already so let's just go. Somehow in that panic Nick left money for the ticket," I said looking at them trying to contain my breaths. Eddie changed back holding my face in his hands.
"It's okay. Breath. Let's go out and we both can act like victims right. Then we can take my bike back to your place and you can see Hercules okay?" I nodded as we started walking to the door. Eddie faked a panicked face as we walked outside. "I-is he gone?"
About thirty minutes later, the paramedics made me stay there long enough to calm down, we were back at my place. I was leaning on Eddie as I pet Hercules.
"Are you gonna explain what just happened?"

Holy shit guys. Thank you so much for waiting so long. In the month it's taken me to write this chapter, this story hit 2 THOUSAND reads. I really appreciate all of this and now that exams are done I'm going to try and update more often than I have been.
