Xavier's Pov.
"Begin," I said and the man standing in front quickly began his presentation.
It's been 5 days since I was back at work and it's been going horrible. My employees didn't know I was coming so they didn't prepare for Mr. Louis, a very Important visitor's arrival.
I am so freaken stress right now that I feel I could go off out someone with one single mistake.
I didn't even mind paying attention to the guy speaking because it was already bull shit to my ears.
'I wonder what Emily is doing right now' I wondered. I couldn't get her out of my head for a few days now and it's becoming annoying. I always space out and my mind goes to her making me miss all the important information.
"Mr. Stephano" the guy called and I was quickly pulled out of my thoughts.
"What?" I asked blankly. I don't hear a thing he says.
"I'm done," he said and I nodded dismissing him.
"Okay, to the real problem now." I saw and folded my arms. The room was extremely quiet.
The room became tense and everyone was now looking at me, giving me their full attention.
"Why weren't you guys prepared for the arrival of an important guest?" I asked them and they looked at each other gulping in fear.
"You..." I pointed my fingers to one of my new employees. His name was John.
"Y-yes, sir?" He stammered and I stare deadly into his eyes. "Care to explain?" I asked and he gulps at me.
He said nothing but stared at me and that causes me to book with anger. "Aren't you gonna say something?"
"W-we didn't know a guest was coming, Sir," another said and I turned my eyes to him.
"You should be always prepared so anything" I stated and he looked at me without uttering another word.
"W-we're sorry. It won't happen again" another said and I was about to speak when my phone rang.
'Who dare has the guts to call me when I'm in a meeting?' I asked myself and pulled out my phone.
Everyone's eyes were on me as I looked at the screen. It was Emily.
Pressing the answer button I was about to speak but she beat me to it. "Umm...hi. Did I call you at a bad time?" She asked and my lips twitched into a smile.
She was just what I need to calm down.
"No. What do you want?" I asked over the phone and she responds after a while. "Umm....can I go shopping?....you don't have to leave your job to take me there. I can walk and I can bring Carry along" she said and her voice showed hints of nervousness.
I paused for a while thinking about her request. I wanted to say no because it's not safe but it's hard to deny her "Okay but you don't have to walk. I'll let the bodyguard I've hired take you there." I responded and she squeals happily over the phone that made me smile.
"Thank you so much!" She said happily and I chuckle at her reaction. I can imagine her jumping and squealing around happily. "Okay, I won't bother you now. Bye!" She said.
"Be careful" I said and she hangs up.
This woman.
Looking up again, my face expression quickly changed back into a cold, serious face. Everyone was looking at me with wide eyes while some whispered amongst themselves.
"Back to what I was saying..." I continued and the room was full of silence again.

Emily's Pov.
I was so damn happy!!
Running down the stairs, I sprinted towards Carry. "Carry!" I shouted happily as I entered the kitchen. The other maids looked at me and then at Carry.
"Madam" she was about to bow at me but I quickly pulled her out of the kitchen and into the living room.
"Why so excited?" She asked and I smiled happily at her.
"We are going shopping!!" I squeal and she chuckled at me.
"Oh, I see," she said and we walked upstairs into my bedroom. "I'll go changed into something before we go," I said and she nodded before I shut the bathroom door.
I changed into some damage jeans and an off the shoulder shirt. I grabbed my jacket just in case it was cold even though it wasn't. Today will be in its 70 degrees and spring is around the corner.
"Let's go," I said happily as we walked downstairs. There were 2 unknown guys standing by the door with their arms fold as we enter the living room.
"Do you know them?" I whispered to Carry and she shook her head 'no'
"Are you Mrs. Stephano?" One of the men asked as he walked over to me and I slowly nodded.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Lucas and this is Nick. We are your bodyguard for today" he said and I let out a sigh.
"Nice to meet you two. This is my maid Carry, I prefer you treat her with respect too" I said and they nodded their heads.
"This way," he said and we sat in a limo before we were driven off to the mall.
...
"This looks cute," I said while holding it up at Carry. She shook her head no and I sigh.
"Can't I just buy you at least one thing? It's not even Xavier's money I'm buying you stuff with" I said and she refused.
Sighing again, my eyes scanned the room for clothes that I would be interested in.
There my eyes caught some clothes which I walked over to and bought. I bought jeans, T-shirts, sweat pants, hoodies, and sneakers.
Walking towards the cashier, there were some eyes on me and whispering could be heard around me. " How may I help you?" The cashier asked not that polite but I didn't bother caring.
"Can I get all of this in a bag?" I asked and she nodded before taking them from me and also checking the price.
"$1,696," she said and my mouth almost dropped open.
This much?
'Of course, it's that's expensive! You went into an expensive store!" My mind Said and I sigh.
I always shop for too much
"What? You don't have enough money to pay for it?" The cashier asked and I could hear a few laughs around me.
"Madam, I think we should call Xavier" she suggested but I refused. He must be busy right now. I can't bother to disturb him.
"I should just go and put them back." I thought.
God. This is gonna be so embarrassing.
"Look how expensive she dresses but is so poor"
"Hump! She can't even buy herself a few clothes but acts rich"
"Showing off herself but don't even have $1000 in her purse"
People began to gossip and laugh at me which I felt embarrassed at. What do I do?
'Just put the stuff back and leave' My conscious said to me and I sigh before agreeing.
I turned around and heard them laugh at me but tried my best to ignore them. And bam!
The door flies open and I looked up to see who It was. It was Xavier. It's like he's a magician or something.
Sighing in relief, he walked towards me while everyone's eyes were fixed on him."What are you doing here?" I asked when he was finally in front of me.
"You forget the card that I gave to you," he said and grabbed ahold of my hands. "Come on"
He walked me to the cashier and suddenly the room was quiet as the cashier trembled with fear while he looked at her with his cold eyes.
"H-how may I help you?" She stammered and he glared at her before responding. "My 'wife' would like to purchase some stuff. Do you mind selling her?" He asked while emphasizing on the word 'wife' and she nodded obediently.
"How much is it?" He asked her and she quickly told him. He handed her his back card and she looked at the card a little surprised before quickly swiping it and returning it to him.
"Is that all?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Are you sure because I can buy you this entire store if you want" he said and I reassure him that this was all that I wanted.
"Okay. And miss..." he pauses to read her name on her badge. "Kate. I would like to meet with you manager" he said and she gulps at him before obediently informing her manager.
"Carry, why don't you wait for us outside with the bodyguards?" He asked and she nodded before leaving.
"Oh my gosh! I didn't know she was this rich!"
"This man is Xavier Stephano and She's married to him, a billionaire. What a lucky girl she is"
"I can't believe that I'm looking at him right now. I've finally seen him in flesh!"
"Poor Cashier, she shouldn't have said anything to that girl, now she's in trouble. Big trouble "
People began to gossip as we stood there and waited for Kate to return. She, a few minutes later, returned with a man who was in his older age whom I guessing is the manager
"Mr. Stephano!" He greeted as soon as he saw him. He had a very surprised expression on his face.
"Oh my! I can't believe I've finally met you!" He said happily and then turned to me. "And who is this beautiful lady?"
"This is my wife Emily" he introduced me and I felt his hands around my waist.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Mr. Cambel" he introduced and I gave him a polite smile. "So what can I help you lovely couple with?" He asked happily and I looked over to Kate and saw her trembling in fear.
"This woman over here, humiliated my wife in public and I'm here to sort this out," he said and the manager turned to Kate with an angry expression on his face.
"What did I tell you? You must learn to behave yourself" he scolds her and she bowed her head embarrassed.
And people began to gossip again.
"I'm very sorry for her behavior. I promise that it won't happen again" Mr. Cambel apologized.
Xavier was quiet for a moment before he spoke "I don't think I can take an apology"
I shot my eyes to him and looked at him with wide eyes. Does he want her to get fired?
"But Mr. Stephano, I---"
"She humiliated my wife in public and got people laughing at her which I didn't like. If you don't agree to fire her Mr. Cambel then you can watch your business go all the way down to.....zero" he threatened and I grabbed a hold of his arm.
"Hey, it's okay. You don't have to worry. I'm fine and I don't care what---"
"Let me deal with this Emily," he said and turned his focus back to Mr. Cambel.
"You have a choice," he said to him and Mr. Cambel gulp before agreeing. I watched as a smile was now on Xavier's lips and he snakes his hands around my waist again.
"Why did you do that?" I asked when we left the store.
"I don't spare anyone who dares touch or humiliates what's mine," he said as his breath fan my neck.
