Author's Note: This is my second hated season behind rebooted. It's poorly written, brings the Nya drama back and the characters do stupid things for the sake of the plot! So infuriating.
(Third Person P.O.V)
Nadakhan having found the remains of the Misfortune's Keep uses the Realm Crystal to summon his crew from the realms they had been imprisoned within.
"Captain, I knew it was only a matter of time you'd come." A man said he was sporting a large black moustache wearing a goggle helmet, mismatched orange, brown and red leather armour with green epaulettes, carrying two Pistols and a jagged sword on his back.
"Ah, Flintlocke. My loyal first mate, is your gunpowder still dry?" Nadakhan demanded and Flintlocke smirked as he fired at a group of birds, but they flew away.
"You missed." Nadakhan hissed at the man. "Did I?" Flintlocke challenged and a tree's leaves fall down and more Pirates approach them.
"Well, if it ain't be Doubloon." Flintlocke said walking up to a man in a similar dress to him only wearing a frowning white mask.
"What's the matter, ain't happy to see me?" Flintlocke says and Doubloon's face switches around displaying another white mask with a different expression, this time a smiling one.
A silver and orange mechanical monkey screeches at Flintlocke. "Go fix a turbine, Monkey Wretch." Flintlocke says and Monkey Wretch hands him a flower.
"A flower?" Flintlocke questioned before presenting it to a hideous, hulking orange beast with turquoise scales on her face and saying "Lady Dogshank." Dogshank grabs the flower and crushes it.
"Never liked flowers. And I ain't no lady." Dogshank laughs.
"And last and definitely least, Clancee." Flintlocke says looking at the very nervous, lime green, hybrid Serpentine with a peg leg. He looked to be a hybrid of Anacondrai and Venomari.
"I-I-It's good to see us all together, F-Flintlocke. I-I told everyone I met about you and how, how, how—" Clancee rambled on as Flintlocke cut him off.
"Clean my guns, Clancee." Flintlocke said shoving the guns into Clancee's arms.
"So the bands back together. My only regret is Dilara is not here to see this." Flintlocke said sadly.
"There is no need to be sad my crew, I have a way to change that." Nadakhan said to his crew.
"What are you saying, captain?" Clancee asked unsure of what he meant. "Tonight, I'll-" Nadakhan corrected himself. "We'll return to my home realm, Djinjago."
"But what about your father? You said you'd never be welcomed back there." Flintlocke questioned.
"Better to live in a world where you are hated than in a world where you are forgotten." Nadakhan answered. "Then we go where our captain goes. To Djinjago!" Flintlocke declares and the Pirates cheer.
"T-T-Tell us what it's like. This Djinjago?" Clancee pleaded like a tiny hatchling wanting a story before bed.
"It is the most beautiful place you've ever seen. But why tell you, when I can show you." Nadakhan announces and uses the Realm Crystal.
When they arrive Djinjago starts to fall apart. "What? What is happening?" Nadakhan demanded as he looked around as the realm started to split apart.
"Th-Th-This isn't beautiful, Captain." Clancee whined in fear.
"King Khanjikhan." Nadakhan bellows and goes after a fellow Dijinn. Whom was praying before the Djinn Blade.
"So my dishonourable son has returned to gloat in our realms final hours. How much misery can one realm take." Khanjikhan bemoaned upon seeing whom it was calling him.
"What plague has begotten the realm?" Nadakhan demanded and motioned to the world around him as it tore itself apart.
"Djinjago's sister realm is no more." Khanjikhan answered standing in front of the blade he'd been praying to, in order to shield it from his scheming son.
"The Cursed Realm has been destroyed? How can this be?" Nadakhan questioned not understanding how that could happen.
"You've never listened to anything I've tried to teach you about being a good Dijinn." Khanjikhan bemoaned once more and started to explain to his wayward son. "The Sixteen Realms are interconnected there balance affects us all. When one falls, another falls. Every action has a consequence."
"Father, in exchange for saving the people of this realm with the Realm Crystal. I want the Sword of Souls." Nadakhan said holding up the Realm Crystal as a bartering tool.
Khanjikhan let out a heavy sigh, his Son had not changed since his banishment, his heart still only craved power.
"This is our home, You might have turned your back upon it, but we never will." Khanjikhan shouted at Nadakhan.
"Captain, we need to leave now." Flintlocke beseeched his Captain.
"I want the Sword of Souls." Nadakhan demanded and Khanjikhan gave his son the coldest stare.
"Do you think me a fool Nadakhan. It's meant only for the king. It holds the life force of our forefathers and all its enemies that have fallen from its blade. Khanjikhan declared.
"It will never belong in the hands of someone as dishonourable as you, Nadakhan." Khanjikhan decreed.
"We're running out of time." Flintlocke gulped as the realm continued to cave.
Nadakhan and Khanjikhan fight over the blade Nadakhan managed to secure the blade and stab Khanjikhan with it.
"Actions have consequence." Khanjikhan spits out as he is absorbed into the sword.
Nadakhan shattered the teapot against the blade transferring all those trapped within, inside the sword. "The power!" Nadakhan gasped at it followed through him.
Nadakhan then uses the Realm Crystal to send him and his crew back to their ship.
"This world may have forgotten about us, but when we're through with them, they will know what it feels like to have everything they love stolen from them. Ninjago will pay for what the Ninja have done!" Nadakhan decreed to his crew.
"But Captain, we're only one ship." Flintlocke reminded his Captain.
"Don't worry, your captain has a plan. Ninjago will see something they have never seen before. But in order for that to happen, I need more souls. And who better than the Ninja." Nadakhan laughed drunk on his newly stolen power.
(Third Person P.O.V)
The next day the Ninja's were in the line with their trays getting food. The lunch lady plopped extra slop onto Kai's tray.
"You get a little extra because you're my favourite." She responded smiling at Kai. Kai just nervously moved on through the line.
"You did say you wanted special treatment." Nya pointed out to her brother.
The Ninja's all walked together to a table to sit at. The Ninja's got a letter from Cyrus Borg telling them that a Djinn broke into the stronghold keeping the Realm Crystal and stole it.
"This means he probably has his old crew back." Kai demanded as Zane re-read the letter form Borg.
"We HAVE to get out of here!" Cole and Jay joined the other Ninja's who were already sitting at a table.
"This isn't fair!" Jay complained. "We're the good guys! We shouldn't be stuck here with the bad guys!"
"What was that thing your favourite movie character always says? Fair isn't a word where I come from." Cole asked.
"The word is FEAR. Cole!" Jay corrected. "And if galactic space hero Fritz Donnegan was here we'd already been out of this place."
Cole picked up a muffin on his tray and smacked it on the tray. It was very hard and made a thud noise when it hit the tray. "Is this a muffin or a fossilized rock?" Cole complained.
"Knowing you. You'll eat it anyway." Kai teased. "Yeah. You're right." Cole shrugged and started to eat it.
"Ok guys." Lloyd said "We can still discuss what we found. We need to find out as much as we can about this Djinn."
"Did somebody say Djinn?" The Ninja's looked over and saw Captain Soto who walked over to the Ninja's table. "You best not be talking about Nadakhan the Djinn."
"His name is Nadakhan?" Kai asked. "Hey, Guys! It's Captain Soto! The first Captain of the Destiny's bounty!" Jay pointed out.
"And it's Jay! The whiny blue pyjama man who says everything obvious!" Soto retorted. Soto paused looking at Nya. "I know you from somewhere..." Soto pondered.
"Ok. Enough small talk. You know Nadakhan?" Lloyd interrupted Soto's train of thought.
"Know him? I was the one who trapped him." Soto proudly explained. "How do we trap him?" Kai asked.
"Trapping a Djinn is very difficult. You pyjama people probably won't understand but I can try to explain." Soto stated and explained the story of Nadakhan to the Ninjas of how he was the most feared pirate of the seven seas along with his crew Misfortune's Keep.
Being from another realm. Nadakhan was more powerful than any other pirate in Ninjago. But Soto managed to trap him inside a teapot where he stayed for thousands of years.
"The hard part isn't trapping him in a vessel." Soto explained. "It's making sure he doesn't poof away before you do it."
"Easy. Just wish him into it." Kai pointed out with a smug look.
"There are rules." Soto said. "You can't wish for more wishes. You can't wish for love and-" "What do you mean you can't wish for love?" Nya interrupted.
Cole and Jay both looked at Nya. "I'm uh... Asking for a friend." Nya lied.
"Like I was saying." Soto continued. "You can't wish for love, You can't wish to bring back the dead and you can't wishing a Djinn back into a teapot, something to do with the whole three wishes per person rule."
"So then how DO we catch a Djinn?" Lloyd asked. "In order to stop a Djinn." Soto began. "Well, well, well. If it isn't the Ninjas." Soto was interrupted by the Mechanic who walked up to their table along with multiple other crooks.
"Not now." Cole said. "We're dealing with top tier bad guys right now. You're second bottom tier at max."
"Bottom tier!?" the Mechanic growls angrily. The other criminals began getting more aggressive and start to grab plates and silverware.
"Look at that pyjama people." Soto stated. "They have all the weapons and you're all chained up."
"Yeah. It's almost a fair fight." Cole taunted and the Ninjas all stood up and threw their food at the crooks.
They used their trays as shields as they ran up to them. A full on fight began as all the criminals attacked the Ninjas.
However, even wearing chains the Ninja's were still skilled fighters and difficult to take down.
"Where's Zane!?" Jay asked worriedly. The Ninja's looked around for their friend and noticed that the Mechanic and another guy had grabbed him and was messing with him in the corner.
"This one's a Nindroid. I could really use some spare parts." The Mechanic laughs as he pins Zane.
"You stay away from him!" Jay yelled running up to the Mechanic. He ran his body into the Mechanic's knocking him over.
"Zane are you ok?" Jay asked helping him back up."I believe so." Zane responded sitting back up. "Thank you. Jay." The two of them ran back into the fight to help the other Ninja's.
"Soto what were you going say." Lloyd ordered as they fought. "You said you knew how to catch Nadakhan."
"The only way to slow down a Djinn long enough to catch them. is with the venom of a tiger widow." Soto explained. "One drop can kill a man or tire a Djinn."
"I've never heard of a tiger widow." Lloyd responded. "Where do we find one?"
"They are very rare. They're only found on one island. Invisible to any map but my own." Soto shouted to them.
"Then where's your map?" Kai asked as he kicked someone away.
"Alright. Alright. Fun time's over." The guards interrupted the fight grabbing the criminals.
"Take them back to their cells. Not the Ninjas." Warden Noble ordered. "They go to the hole for starting this fight."
"Wait! Soto. Tell us where the map is!" Lloyd ordered as the guards pushed the Ninjas away.
"Break me out of here and I'll tell ya." Soto responded to Lloyd.
"I guess we can find the venom on our own. It'll just take. I don't know. Eight to ten years." Kai suggested.
"Or we break out of here tonight with Soto." Lloyd responded with a plan forming in his mind.
(Third Person P.O.V)
Ronin was worried for (Y/N). He'd just returned from the police station a free man, ready to celebrate and found her sitting alone staring up at the stars humming while sharpening her Vengestone sword.

Ronin had gone to asked Echo and Dareth what was causing this to happen to (Y/N) while the pair were helping serve dinner for everyone.
"She keeps hearing music." Echo had said as he handed out bowls of soup to everyone who lined up."Music?" Dareth questioned Echo as he handed out some bread.
"Yeah, she's been hearing singing ever since the battle a Stixx." Ronin informed Dareth."Ronin could you go see if she ok?" Dareth asked and Ronin went back, to check on (Y/N) again.

Ronin waved his hand in front of her face but she didn't even respond. She just continued her singing while sharpening her Vengestone sword. It was as though she was in a trance.
Ronin gently cupped (Y/N)'s face in his hands. "Oh, (Y/N) how do I help you?" Ronin asked but (Y/N) continued to sing her haunting melodies.

(Third Person P.O.V)
That night the Ninja's were trapped in a small pit. They were chained to the walls with a grate on the top closed with a lock and chain.
"This is literally our lowest point." Jay said. "We're in a hole. Literally Rock bottom."
"If only we could use our powers to get out." Zane said with a sad sigh.
"Don't worry guys. I have a plan." Lloyd assured and pulled a fork from his back pocket. "I managed to snag this while we left lunch."
"Oh wow. A fork. So helpful." Kai retorted unimpressed with Lloyd's plan. "Don't be so pessimistic Kai." Lloyd responded and using the fork to pick the lock on his cuffs but it broke.
"Oh come on how much bad luck can we possibly have!" Jay shouted in frustration.
"I hate Vengestone I wish I could use my powers I could just bust us out of here." Cole pouted.
"Did someone say wish?" Nadakhan said appearing before the Ninjas.
"Nadakhan!" Kai shouted out as if they were all blind. "We can all see him, Kai!" Nya shouted at her brother.
"I thought we wanted to avoid this guy." Jay said out loud tugging at the chains. "What you here to gloat?" Jay spat at the Djinn and Nadakhan threw him a dirty look before turning his attention to Cole.
"You have a wish?" Nadakhan said with a smug look. "Don't do it, Cole!" Nya and Lloyd both shout at Cole. But Cole only heard Nya.
"Don't try to control me Nya!" Cole hiss at Nya. "Don't yell at my sister!" Kai shouted at the master of Earth."Leave him alone, Kai! Nya started it!" Jay yelled defending his friend.
Nadakhan just hung back watching the back and forth fighting.
"I did not!" Nya shrieked like a petulant child. "You're just taking his side because my sister cheated on you!" Kai screamed at Jay thinking he'd won the argument.
"Kai!" Nya screamed at her brother."Oh... Oops." Kai said once he realised what he'd actually said.
Jay laughed smugly. "Truth hurt doesn't it Nya." Jay huffed and Lloyd let out a huge groan as Kai and Nya started yelling and shouting at Jay.
Nadakhan was starting to think he should have brought some popcorn to eat while he watched this.
"This is all your fault!" Nya sobbed. "How is it my fault! You're the one who cheated on me! You're the bad guy in this not me! You haven't even apologised to me!" Jay screamed back at her.
"Don't yell at my little sister!" Kai screamed in his sister's defence.
"I have checked my database and Jay is correct, Nya has not made any sincere apologie to Jay for cheating no him with Cole." Zane pointed out and Kai started to yell at the Master of Ice instead as Nya stated to wail and sob.
"Don't yell at Zane! He's telling the truth! It's all Nya's fault." Cole spat at Kai, his rage building inside of him.
Kai and Cole started screaming heat and hurtful words at one and other, Nadakhan enjoying every nasty little bit.
"You leave Nya out of this!" Kai howled at Cole. "No!" Cole yelled back defiantly at the Master of Fire.
"Everything bad that has happened to us since Chen's island is Nya's fault and you know it!" Cole spat at Kai.
"She destroyed my friendship with Jay and she tried to kill (Y/N) who might I add may be the only family you two have left!" Cole yelled at Kai.
"(Y/N)? hu. I'll keep my eyes open for someone by that name!" Nadakhan thought to himself as the Ninjas continued their verbal tirade.
Kai went to scream over The Master of Earth but Cole roared over The Master of Fire silencing him. "Don't even try to defend Nya's actions!"
Kai looked at Cole with the cold look he could produce. "You didn't protect, (Y/N) either." Kai said in the most emotionless way anyone had ever heard Kai speak and Cole saw red.
"What are you going to do about it, Cole!" Kai challenged and Cole let out a bloodthirsty cry and in the heat of rage screamed at Kai.
"I wish Vengestone increased our powers so I could break out of these cuffs and beat you up!"
"Your wish is yours to keep." Nadakhan said as granted Cole's wish before departing.Cole's powers came back breaking apart the Vengestone then proceded to punch Kai in the stomach as hard as he could.
"Cole stop!" Lloyd shouted breaking out of his restraints to stop the Master of Earth. Zane and Jay broke out of theirs and went to stop Cole with Lloyd.
"Enough!" Lloyd shouted getting inbetween Kai and Cole. "We need each other to save Ninjago."
"Great. We have our powers back." Jay stated flexing his lightning. "But how do we get out of this hole?"
"I'll explain the plan as we go." Lloyd informed the team as he and Zane broke Kai and Nya down. "Cole. Can you ghost through the bars and break the chain open."
Cole jumped up through the bars grabbing the chain and pulled on it until the chains broke, opening up the door so the other Ninjas could climb out.
"Now. We go find Soto." Lloyd explained blasting a hole in the wall. "Jay. You make sure we aren't seen." Jay turned the corner where there were a bunch of security cameras.
Using his powers he zapped them all shorting them out. They arrived at Soto's cell where a heavily winded Kai burned a hole through the bars, causing Soto to wake up.
"Come with me. Quietly." Kai directed and Soto jumped out of bed following through the melted bars.
Sirens started going off as the guards realized the Ninja's had escaped.
"Zane. Make sure we aren't followed." Lloyd ordered. Zane obeyed creating a large ice wall to block them off the guards that were following them.
The Ninja's, ninja in training Nya and Soto te pirate reached a dead end the Ninja's used their powers together to create a hole on the wall and climbed through with Lloyd covering the hole with a poster.
The group managed to all crawled through the hole one by one until they reached a room full of pipes.
"The main door will be well guarded. So we need to escape through the sewer pipes." Lloyd explained to them.
"Sewer pipes? Ew gross!" Nya commented. "We're escaping no time to be a priss, Nya." Zane said as he and Jay picked up Cole so he didn't touch the water as they all jumped into the pipe.
They all follow the pipe till they came out the end of the pipe which lead to outside the prison.
"Wow. Lloyd. How'd you come up with that plan?" Jay asked as they all got out of the puddle at the end of the pipe. Lloyd smirked a little. "I did attend Darkly's after all and learnt a thing or two from them."
"Thank you pyjama people." Soto said thanking each of the ninja's with a firm handshake.
"Ok, Soto. We helped you escape. Now tell us where the map is." Kai ordered snatching his hand back from the pirate.
"The map is hidden within a lantern." Soto explained. "Light its candle and the map will appear."
"Then where is the lantern?" Jay questioned. "That's the tricky part." Soto answered. "It's aboard Misfortune's Keep. Nadakhan's ship."
"Nadakhan's ship?" Cole stated. "I never said it was going to be easy." Soto said. "Good luck pyjama people." Soto began walking off when he stopped. "Wait. I remember why you look so familiar." He said turning to Nya. "Wow. you're a spitting image of her!"
"Of who?" Nya snaped at Soto. "Same horrible personality too." Soto replied in a huff. "Dilara. She was a member of Nadakhan's crew. He wanted to marry her to get unlimited wishes."
"Unlimited wishes?" Nya questioned. "Yeah, me and my crew defeated him before that happened but you may want to watch your back Nadakhan has a type." Soto warned.
"I'll keep that in mind." Nya said and Soto shook his head.
"I wasn't talking to you I was talking to the pyjama people. Nadakhan's type has never been pleasant." Soto warned them with a serious look on his face.
"Vain, greedy, jealous, spiteful, Kill to get what they want. You boys watch your back Nadakhan isn't the one you lot need to worry the most about right now." And with that Soto started walking off again leaving the Ninjas to themselves.
"We'd better get going." Lloyd said as Nya started to fume and they ran away from the prison.
(Third Person P.O.V)
Ronin sat up from his spot on the ground with deep moans of pain. (Y/N) was no longer humming while sharpening her Vengestone sword.
In fact, her Vengestone sword was gone shattered into shards impaled into the ground, surrounding walls and rooftops.
(Y/N) was still clutching the hilt of the sword in her shaking hand a piece the sword itself was sticking out of her left hand.
Ronin cussed and rushed over to help stop the bleeding. "It will be ok (Y/N) just stay still.Someone get here now!" Ronin shouted in distress.
It had all happened so fast the Vengestone sword started to glow brighter and brighter till it exploded.
"Ronin somethings wrong." (Y/N) said trying to sit up. "No! You're in shock, stay still." Ronin ordered, keeping pressure on the wound.
"Ronin, I can feel it." (Y/N) insisted to the thief trying to get him to listen.
"Something is meddling with things it shouldn't control, things are unbalanced and must be corrected. Retribution must be given." (Y/N) pleaded but the thief refused to listen to her warnings as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
Her warning forgotten...
