Xavier's Pov.
Exiting the bathroom, my eyes scanned the room for Emily but she wasn't there.
Where is this girl!?
Ugh! I hope she doesn't cause me trouble...
Walking towards my bed, I slipped on one of my shirts and was about to go look for her when I spotted a female figure sitting on the balcony.
I quietly walked over and stared at the woman. It was her but she looked different. She had a different emotion. She looked.....broken, in pain. Like she's sick and tired of something or someone.
Walking towards her, I stood quietly behind her. Noticing my presence, she shot her head toward me. She gave me a light smile and got up.
"Are you---"
"I'm fine" she cut me off and left.
But something was wrong. Her eyes said the opposite and it showed pain.
I should just stay off her business. I shouldn't care.
Pushing the thought of her away for my head, I left the hotel to attend another meeting.

Emily's Pov.
"Passenger's please buckle your seat belts. We're about to land" the pilot announced at I quickly buckle my seat belt.
After a few minutes, the jet landed and we unbuckled our seat belts and exit the jet.
We were finally back in America!
Following Xavier, we both sat in the car as the driver drove off with us.
I poke my head through the window and I smiled as the wind hit my face but quickly pull my head back inside because it was too cold.
It's still snowing...
Letting out a breath, I opened my phone and scrolled through my news feed.
Ping!
There was another notification which came from Mark...The picture shows Mark and Rena kissing.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance and continue scrolling through my news feed.
Why does he keeps tagging me in his pictures? It's so annoying!
After 2 hours, we finally pulled up at Xavier's house. Exiting the car, I struggle to take my suitcase out while Xavier opened his door.
'What a gentleman!' I said with sarcastic dripping in my voice.
Pulling my suitcase towards the door, a maid came rushing outside and took my suitcase away from me. "Let me help, madam," she said and carried my suitcase away before I could've responded.
"Follow me" Xavier finally spoke to me after 2 days and I nodded my head.
I don't know what's his problem. He keeps ignoring me and doesn't reply to simple questions like 'are we going home today?'
Seriously, what's wrong with him?
Shaking my head, I followed him up the stairs into his bedroom. "You....sleep on the couch." He said as soon as I jumped onto the bed in exhaustion.
Glaring at him, I got up and lay on the couch. It wasn't that comfortable.
I looked at the time and saw that it was nine 'o'clock in the night.
I need a shower...
Getting up from the couch, Xavier spoke: "Where are you going?"
"To the bathroom," I said in an obvious tone.
He didn't reply so I walked over to the bathroom and started to strip from my clothes.
I was about to take off my bra and underwear when I saw something like a bug, in the bathroom.
Oh God!
I hate bugs!
Should I run or kill it?
If I run, it's gonna live and might sneak into the bedroom to get me at night but...If I kill it, it can never show up again except for its family coming to get me.
I was debating over my thoughts and finally decided.
So I'm gonna kill it.
I grabbed one of my shoes and walked slowly towards it. Taking a deep breath, I lift my shoe in the air and hit it....well almost.
It jumped toward me and I screamed out loud "AhhhHHH!!!!"
"What is it?!" I heard Xavier's voice. He kicks open the door and ran towards me. I quickly jumped unto his back, wrapping my arms around his neck and screamed again when I saw the spider crawling towards me.
"S-s-spider!" I stuttered, tightening my grip around his neck.
"What spider?!" He asked trying to get me off of him.
"I-it's there!" I pointed towards the bathtub.
"You're choking me. Get off!" He yelled but I disobey.
I can't get bitten by a spider. I'm scared.
"I'll let go in a minute," I said and heard him growl.
He began walking towards the spider with me on his back and I stopped him. "Wait! You can't! I'm on your back remember?!"
"Get off!" He yelled angrily and I flinch before quickly slipping off his back.
He sounded scared.
'Stupid' I muttered under my breath knowing that he heard me.
He walked towards the bathtub and I stood by the door in case the spider came running towards me, I have an easy escape.
I'm smart, right?
He stretched his hands out to touch the spider and I scream out. "NO! Don't! It's alive!"
"Can you shut up?" He asked me in a rude tone and I rolled my eyes at him.
"You shut up!" I shouted back and he glared at me before turning his focus back to the spider.
He touched the spider and the spider didn't move an inch. Touching it again, the spider lay there lifeless. He lifted it up to take a closer look at it.
"Put it dow--"
"It's fake" he cut me off and my mouth dropped open.
"How can it be fake? It was crawling towards me. I-it almost bit me" I said in disbelief.
"It's fake! " He repeated in annoyance.
"No, it can't be!" I defended.
"Then do you want to touch it to see if it's fake?" He asked with an irritating expression on his face.
"No. It's gonna bite me!" I said in a scared voice and he let out a loud huff.
"See for yourself!" He throws the spider at me and I screamed.
I back away and watch the spider land in front of me. It didn't more. Poking it with my hands, it felt rubbery.
"See!" He said. His voice filled with annoyance.
"But....but...I saw with my two eyes, it was going to bite me--"
"Just stop talking, please!" He yelled and I immediately shut up.
He looked pretty annoyed.
And angry.
The place went silent.
I stood there with my mouth closed for a few minutes when I suddenly realized something.
I was only in my bra and underwear and Xavier's eyes were trailing all over my body.
Yelping, I quickly covered my body and glared at him. He quickly averted his eyes and left slamming the bathroom door.
Oh God!
I can't believe he saw me!!!
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!" I yelled while hitting my head. "I should've kept my clothes on!"
'You should be happy that you still had your bra and underwear on' my conscious said and I pulled my hair in embarrassment.
"Shut up!" I yelled at my conscious and made sure the door was lock before I strip completely and took a shower.
