incessant words are spilled in ink;
they don't actually say what they mean.
pretty words wrapped in lies like a bow
to make you happy to soothe their fears
that their awful personalities
is all they will ever bare.
so, in turn,
they face your back and hope
that their words about you
don't reach their target.
really, they don't mean to be so cruel -
but what else happens when you want to rule,
to be the all-loving creature of your ideal?
just hold on to yourself
and make sure who you are willing
to be left for
with worth it first.
