Chapter 15 : A Pixie Adventure Part 2
Tulala ako habang naglalakad kami sa madilim at malamig na kagubatan. Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakbay papunta sa Servailles para mapadali na kami.
Meissa's words are still lingering on my ears. Napailing na lamang ako dahil sa iniisip.
Napahinto ako ng hilahin ni Cascade ang dulo ng bistida ko. Turns out that they also stopped. Nilingon ko ang paligid, parang may nakamasid saamin kaya siguro sila tumigil.
"We're near their land, I guess the animals already sense us." Pagbibigay alam ni Meissa habang iginagala ang paningin sa madilim na kagubatan.
Bigla namang umapaw ang kaba ko dahil sa sinabi niya. Animals, I've read books about scenes like this and the encounter between protagonists and the animals is scary. Malay 'ko ba kung meron dito ng mga hayop na mas nakakatakot kesa sa pilipinas. Saka everything is possible daw dito.
Nagulat ako ng biglang paikot na umatake si Meissa, kanina lamang ay naka-tingin siya sa unahan, bigla na lamang itong pumaikot papunta sa likuran niya at tila may inatake roon. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng mayroong umagos na dugo sa espada niyang bigla na lamang lumitaw.
"Invisivels," She murmured and started attacking the air, nagugulat na lamang ako dahil biglang may umaagos na dugo sa bawat atake nila.
The pixies surrounded me to protect me. Namula naman ako, parang pabigat ako dito a.
"No, you're not."
Gulat kong nilingon si Meissa ng marinig ko ang boses niya sa isipan ko. Nakikipaglaban pa rin naman siya. How did she do that?
Sa isang iglap, napuno ng iba't ibang kulay ang buong madilim na kagubatan. The pixies started attacking the creatures they called "Invisivels," Nagawa pang ipaliwanag saakin 'yon ni Meissa. She told me that Invisivels are creatures made by the wicked witches to protect their land.
Sila pa talaga ang may ganang protektahan ang lupain nila 'e sila 'tong masasama.
Napatili ako ng may humila saakin at may dugong dumaloy sa tagiliran ko. At first, I thought it was mine, but I realized that it was from the Invisivels that Tyson killed when the creature tried to attack me.
"Salamat!" Agap ko, he only nodded.
Kinapkap ko ang sarili ko at nagulat ng may makapa akong manipis na kahoy sa katawan ko. Kinuha ko iyon at nakitang mukha iyong lapis o ballpen.
"Write something, honey."
A voice lingered on my ears. Nagulat ako at napaatras dahil doon.
My heart burned again at the pain is killing me. Nakakarinig ako ng mga boses, nag-aaway, I dont know. Sumisikip ang dibdib ko. Nawawalan ako ng hininga. Umiling ako ng may maramdaman na luha na tumulo mula sa mga mata ko.
"Write, Serel! write something!"
My trembling hands reached for the pen and my hands automatically wrote something on the ground.
Nanginginig ako at napamulat ng mamanhid ang buong katawan ko. Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko at nanghihinang binitawan ang pen.
"S-Serel..." I looked up and saw pairs of eyes looking down on me.
"A-Anong nangyari?" Tanong ko.
"What did you do?" Ember asked in disbelief, napailing ako.
Anong ginawa ko? Anong nangyari?
I looked around and saw the bloody encounter we had, or they had. Umiling ako, ano bang nangyari? Then Frissa flew down on me, itinuro niya ang isinulat ko sa lupa at nagulat ako ng makita kung ano iyon.
"Pain should fade. Beasts will vanish."
Napapikit na lamang ako sa hindi malamang dahilan. And then, I found myself closing my eyes because of tiredness.
Napanganga ako sa ganda ng paligid. From up here, I can saw the whole place. It was more like a fantasy place. There were dwarves, fairies, pixies, and even half animals. Everyone is so happy, the smile from their face evidence. I smiled too.
Then a soft hands clasped on my shoulders, I looked up and saw a lady but her face isn't visible. I saw her smiled at me and a little boy approached us.
"See the beauty? You will rule this place someday."
But the smile on my face faded when the dark enveloped the whole place. The place was in chaos, everyone is panicking. I saw how the beautiful place was covered with darkness... and a cold weather and everyone was scared.
"I told you, dont wake her up!"
"Is she the key?"
"Where it is?"
"Stop whispering around her, I'm telling you Flare, I'll kill you if she wokes up."
"Whoa, you like her? Meissa oh!"
Unti-unti kong minulat ang mga mata ko at nakaramdam kaagad ako ng pagod. Kaagad naagaw ng limang pares ng mata ng unti-unti 'kong pag bangon. Nilingon ko si Tyson at bahagya itong ngumiti saakin.
"She's awake!!!" Napapitlag ako ng biglang sumigaw 'yong babaeng naka green medieval dress. Her scream seems to call someone's attention. I can hear their footsteps.
"Serel!" Nanlaki ang mga mata ko ng makita rito si Fisso. He jumped on me and hugged me.
"Oh my Gosh! Andito ka rin?" I asked with teary eyes.
"I followed you that day and that old lady named horoscope pushed me onto the portal that you created."
So he's here the whole time? and he's with them?
"Horoscope? What, the lady of fate!?" Gulantang na tanong ng isang lalaki na kasama ni Fisso papunta dito.
I roamed my eyes, oh. I'm in a tent.
"Who is she by the way?" Fisso asked the guy.
"Damn bro! She's the lady of fate, the fate itself! you met her?" Suminghap ang lalaki at tila hindi makapaniwala na nakita nga ni Fisso iyong Horoscope na sinasabi niya.
"Well Serel saw her too. But in an old lady form."
"So she's the lady I helped?"
"Yeah,"
"As much as we wanted you both to catch up, we still need to get going. We're in the middle of Servailles forests and it's dangerous you know." A girl interrupted us, she's one of the person I saw as soon as I woke up.
"Guess she's confused by us," Another girl pointed me and smile a little.
"I'm Aquacia. This is Nadia," she pointed the girl who screamed earlier. "And this is Flare," then to the girl who interrupted us.
"And I'm handsome," Napataas ang isa kong kilay ng lumapit ang lalaking hindi makapaniwala kanina na nakita ni Fisso ang Horoscope.
"Frio," My eyes darted to the guy who's just standing on the side, I never heard him talk. Our eyes met and his whole presence gave me a chilling aura. Something about him is cold.
And he's familiar...
"Meissa already told us that Astralea ordered you to find the missing wands and we're here to help." Flare stated and stood up.
Inalalayan naman ako ni Fisso para tumayo at ngumiti ako sa kaniya. God, I missed him. When we're the only one left on the tent, I immediately hugged him and a tear escaped from my eyes.
"I missed you, kung alam mo lang ang pinagdaanan ko." Umiling ako habang nakalubog ang mukha sa dibdib niya.
He chuckled.
"I missed you too. Now let's go," He ruffled my hair and wiped the remaining tears on my cheeks.
Paglabas namin ay naroroon na sila. Then I saw the pixies with them. Siguro ay sila ang sinasabing pinagsisilbihan nila. I suddenly remembered Esmeray and Dawn. How are they? Alam kaya nila na nandito ako? or even the witches attacked the castle. I hope they're fine.
Levi whistled and four horses landed on the ground. Namangha ako, wait, are they even horses? unicorn perhaps? or pegasus?
'Pegasus'
Meissa answered the question on my head. I gave him a little smiled and walked on the pegasus. I caresses it's soft body.
"Oh my Gosh, Fisso. I've wanted to see one!" Tili ko at hinarap si Fisso na naka ngiti saakin.
"Aapat lang sila. These Pegasus' are winter flyers, hindi kakayanin ng iba." Pagbibigay alam ni Nadia. Napatango naman ako.
"We need to share," Saad ko, iyon lang ang nakikita kong paraan para magkasya kami.
"Tyson, sama tayo!" Levi hurriedly walked on him but Tyson immediately pulled away.
"Mandiri ka nga!" Ngumiwi ito.
"Serel and Fisso both cant ride so I'll be taking Serel." Flare seemed to be excited when she pulled me, but another hand held my other wrist.
"No, I want to ride with her too!" It was Nadia.
"Wait? what about me? I want to be with her too!" Aquacia pouted.
"Okay? Anong meron sa'kin?" Gulo kong tanong habang patuloy na nag aaway sina Nadia, Aquacia at Flare patungkol sa kung kanino ako sasakay.
An arm grabbed my wrist and dragged me onto the pegasus. Then his cold arms encircled around my waist before lifting me up so I can sat on the Pegasus.
I looked at them and they all stopped moving, I can see Flare blinking hundred times and how Levi's jaw dropped, meanwhile, Meissa shook her head while smiling and Tyson is grinning. And the rest's faces were priceless.
My thoughts drifted away when I felt Frio's warmth on my back.
"Fisso, ride with Nadia. Tyson, you go with Flare and the rest." Frio ordered and they obliged, napalunok ako ng makasampa na silang lahat. That would mean, we'll fly away.
Nanigas ang katawan ko ng maramdaman ang dalawang kamay ni Frio sa bewang ko. He reached for the Pegasus' handler and I can feel his breath on my neck.
"Hold still," he whispered and we started to fly. Napapikit ako at bahagyang umatras dahil sa bago na nararamdaman ko.
"Tsk, you're nudging me." Nagulat ako ng biglang umisod pauna si Frio, that forced me to open my eyes and I saw the view from up here.
It's beautiful but hey...
"OH MY GOSH, PUT ME DOWN!" I yelled which startled Frio, I felt it.
