Jeongyeon's POV
I pull Jihyo faraway from class trying to get my mind off. When I realize I'm in the hallway I loosened the grip and let Jihyo go. I kept on walking straight with Jihyo beside me. She patted my back trying to calm me down. My face is red by the statement that Nayeon said.
"What an asshole!" I said in a heavy tone.
"Maybe she didn't mean it." Jihyo said still patting my back.
"Whatever." I shrugged it off.
"I still can't believe. They declared me as dead more than missing." Jihyo caressing my back to calm me down.
"Well they jumped into that conclusion because of the state of the building. It was buried right maybe they thought you and your parents are buried there?" Jihyo said that.
My mind was full of questions but one of it stick out the most.
"So, they didn't know that I was taken care by Mr Parks facility?" I asked.
Jihyo was surprised I guess she never thought about it. She shook her head and we were confused. How come no one realize I was taken care in the facility.
"Maybe they're doing this on purpose?" said Jihyo trying to assure me.
"Maybe." I answered her back.
There are a lot of things that I don't know about the facility. The only thing I know is that it's the place where I grew up and train to control more powers.
Come to think of it. I never noticed anything other than my cell, the canteen and the practice room. It seems so isolated from the outside world.
Maybe they did it for safety. Since the ones that got sent to the facility is basically uncontrollable SuperHumans or basically a maniac.
But is it their true intentions or is there something else. I kept on thinking about it back and forward. Spacing out as we walked to the cafeteria. Jihyo was watching me looking back and forward and sighed.
I regained my senses as we open the door to the cafeteria. It was full of students pushing over to get some food. We look for a place to sit and saw every table was taken. Except well the goddesses table they haven't arrived yet.
I was looking around the cafeteria when I saw someone waving from the corner of my eyes. I turned my head to look and I see Chaeyoung waving at us, asking us to join their table.
Me and Jihyo walked towards their table. Chaeyoung patted the two seats besides her.
"Sit here Hyung and uhh?" She stare at Jihyo's big eyes.
"Oh this is Jihyo." I introduce her Jihyo smiled and lend out her hand.
They all smiled and shook her hand. "Jihyo this is-" I was about to introduce them when Tzuyu cutted me.
"The names Tzuyu unnie." She stood up and shook her hand.
"Names Dahyun Unnie." Dahyun stood up and shook her hand.
"My name is Chaeyoung unnie. You have a beautiful eyes btw." She stood up and shook her hand.
Jihyo chuckled by her compliment. We all sit down and started to talk to one another. They are a very nice dongsaengs. For Giving us space for us to sit.
Then all of a sudden our convo was interrupted by the sound of the cafeteria door opening. Like someone was barging inside. Every eyes turned to the them. It was the goddesses. They've just arrived.
Nayeon was in the front while the others are in the back following her like her sidekicks. People were staring and whispering. Boys whistling and catcalling. While the girls squeal at them. They went to their table and went to eat.
"Oh shoot they're back." Tzuyu stated. All of them looked worried at them somehow.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
They tried to fake smile as if nothing bad didn't happened. Well they can't hide from me.
"A pretty good lie kiddos. Alright what's the tea?" Jihyo asked this time.
Guess she figured their face out. The uneasy feeling from them. She rested her chin on her palm and waited. Me I just rested my chin on the table.
"Weeeell-" Chaeyoung sigh and continued.
"We just don't like their presence that's all." I raised my eyebrows questioning what she meant.
"Don't get it wrong Hyung, They are really nice to us. But what they do to people is kinda uncomfortable." Chaeyoung added to reassured me.
"What did they do anyway?" I asked.
"You see Unnie-" This time Dahyun talked. I straighten the way I sit and crossed my arms listening.
"Yesterday they kind of Bully some new students in the cafeteria." My eyes and Jihyo's went wide as we heard the story.
They were talking about our incident. "Where did You heard the news?" Jihyo asked.
"From our classmates. We were on our way to the cafeteria. We usually sit with them because they invited us to sit together. But when we heard our classmates talking about the incident. We kind of back off from them." Tzuyu added.
Wait I thought no one was there? Wasn't there's only us and them in the cafeteria that time?
"How did your friend know?" I asked them.
"Well, Our friend Somi has invincibility as her powers. She kind of saw the incident in transparent mode." I almost choked at the fact they told me.
So they watch the incident. Jihyo jaw dropped hearing what they said.
"I kinda feel bad for those new students. They must've been scared and traumatized." Chaeyoung added.
She looked guilty for some reason. I tried to lift up the mood by laughing. They were staring at me but join in at the end.
"Well I bet those students have forgiven them." I stated to them.
Jihyo looked at me and I just smiled. She know that I can't forgive people that easily. It's just a lie besides I just don't want them to hate their seniors.
"How do you know Hyung?" Chaeyoung asked.
I smiled and patted her head. "Oh I just had a feeling." I told her and she smiled showing her dimple.
We were talking and laughing that we didn't notice Nayeon and her friends were watching us. "Ayeee Mina unnie is staring at you again Chae." Dahyun nudge Chaeyoung and we all turned to look at them.
They quickly turned their faces to another place. We laughed and saw Chaeyoung blushing. "Uhhh, someone's got a crush." Jihyo nudge Chaeng. And she looked embarrassed.
"No I'm not." We laugh at her response. They're truly are a fun dongsaengs.
Nayeon's POV
I keep on looking at their table. Guess Jeongyeon became close to them. They were laughing, talking and having fun. It wasn't just me who was watching them my friends too. Especially Mina.
I know she's looking at her crush, Chaeyoung. The way she looked at her with heart eyes. I look at them too but my eyes seems to be locked on her. Jeongyeon. Why her? My heart is beating faster than ever when I looked at her.
Then they all turned to us. Guess our staring caught their attention. We quickly turned our head and act normal. It was silence between us until Momo broke it.
"Sooo, who you guys staring at?" She smirked while wiggling her left eyebrow up and down.
"W-we weren't staring at anyone!" Mina stutter and look down.
She blushed because she got caught. Momo chuckled "Guess someone's got a crush on one of them." Momo grinned.
Sana was still staring at them. I don't know what she was looking at but she couldn't stop staring at them. Momo snapped her to reality.
"Who you lookin at squirrel?" Sana glared at Momo's statement and she chuckled.
"Oh come on guys stop staring at them. You look like a stalker." She laugh while hitting the table.
"Says the one who's been looking at them earlier too." Sana stated.
Momo let out a small chuckled. We laugh at her because she was blushing.
"It wasn't just me. Nayeonie too" She pointed at me.
Now their looking at me and grin. Great they just have to drag me into this. I thought they never realize. Well of course they'll realized.
"N-no I didn't." I try to convince them but they just laughed at me.
"Then why did you stutter huh?" Mina asked.
Oh God why did I even stutter. Stupid Im Nayeon. I felt embarrassed and that made me blush.
"Ohhh She's blushing." Sana pointed at my face that is red like a lobster.
They kept on teasing me. I've had enough. I use my powers and stuck some tissues on their mouth while they're laughing. Eat those tissues J-lines. They almost swallowed the tissues and choke on them. I laughed at their expressions.
"NAYEON *cough* UNNIE *cough* THAT WASNT *cough* FUNNY AT ALL." Mina shouted at me.
That makes them turned to see us. I kept on laughing until my stomach hurts. "That's for teasing me." I smirked and they growled while still coughing.
Then out of nowhere Jeongyeon came with three bottles of water. She placed it on our table. I just kept on staring at her. She has a cold face.
"Here drink this. It'll help the cough." And then she walk back to her table.
We look at one another thinking about what just happen. Momo open the bottle cap with a speed of lightning and drank the water bottle.
Mina and Sana also drink their water bottles like they've been on a dessert for months. The tissues must have caused their tongue to be dry. The sounds of their gulping make me thirsty too so I tried to snatch one their bottles while still drinking.
I guess they read my mind since they quickly moved their hands before I even snatched them. They drink it until there's nothing left and throw the bottles at me. The bottles are now all over the floor. They laugh seeing my reaction.
"That's for the tissues unnie." They said in unison.
I laughed back and apologize. The bell ring and it's time for us to get back to class. Aftet this is skill practice. It's where we practice our skill to get stronger and for more control.
We stood up and head to the door. But Momo walk towards Jeongyeon and the others to greet them. We stand behind her.
"Thanks for the water Jeongyeonie." Momo smile showing her gratitude.
"Yeah if it weren't for you we would've died of choking." Sana added and glared at me.
"I wonder how that happen." They turned to me and glare.
I just let out a soft chuckle because of the guilt. Jeongyeon just smile and nod. "Don't worry about it. Next time be careful." She said and walk outside of the canteen followed by Jihyo and the school meal club.
We try to greet them but they just ignore us keeping their eyes on the floor. As if they were scared of us. We followed them from behind. Jihyo and Jeongyeon was in the front of them leading the way.
Sana tried to cling on to Tzuyu's shoulder trying to get answers. She always do that to Momo too but not as much as Tzuyu. She really likes to cling to her arm like a koala holding tightly to its tree.
"What's wrong Chewy? You guys have been quite lately." She stated holding on to Tzuyu tighter.
But Tzuyu let go of Sana's grip as her response. "It was nothing Unnie. We are fine." She says that while scratching her head giving a fake smile.
I couldn't help but notice Chaeyoung. She was glaring at us not us but me. She was only glaring at me. Her eyes was cold and sharp. Like a knife trying to pierce through me. It wasn't just Chaeyoung who's looking at me coldly but Dahyun also. Like they're glaring me to death.
Those looks they're giving me sends shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but too look at the floor. Momo notice them glaring at me and she was kinda confused of it. Because they're usually really nice to us. But now they've change. They've became colder.
Before Momo could say a word Jeongyeon snapped her fingers so loud it made Chaeyoung and Dahyun startled.
"I'll accompany you to your class kiddos." She said.
They nod and walk together with Jeongyeon towards their own classrooms. Tzuyu wave goodbye at us and left with them. They look sad at the way those kids have been acting.
I didn't realize that all this time we were already infront of our class. I see Jihyo shook her head and sighed while opening the door. She went inside and left us with questions outside.
"Why did they became so cold all of the sudden?" Mina said while looking down kicking the wind.
Sana sighed "I don't know they've change." She pouted and started fidgeting with her fingers.
"Maybe they have some personal problems." Momo added trying to stay positive.
But me I was negative as hell. They were never like this before. Never in my life I've seen them glared at me that way. It all happened after-. Then I realized it. Their personality change to cold since Jeongyeon and Jihyo came and sits with them. I bet they did something to them.
"I think Jeongyeon and Jihyo told them something and gave us a bad name." I said furiously.
If they did then their soo dead. Sana and Mina look at me with surprise. They didn't believe what I said. Momo she doesn't understand anything. She's just standing there spacing out in her own world.
"You can't just accuse them of doing that." Mina said in a serious tone. She crossed her arm and tap her feet.
"We don't know that! What if it's true! What if they told them we bully them!" I stated with a raise tone.
Scaring the Shit out of Momo as she startled and quickly ran inside the classroom. I huffed at that scaredy-cat.
"Well it is true. You did bully them." Sana murmured but I heard what she said and glared at her back.
Then I heard footsteps from behind Mina. We all turned and look. It was Jeongyeon she was walking with her hands on her pockets looking cold. I staggered my way to her and stop right infront of her. My arms were crossed and my eyes were piercing through her.
She looked at me back with her cold eyes. "What do you want?" She sighed and throw her head back in the air while tapping her foot.
"Well I want to ask you. What did you say to OUR dongsaengs." I emphasized the our part because we were the one who was close to them first. Until this assholes showed up.
She sighed again and walk past me ignoring my question. I turned and grab her hand. Mina shout at me telling me to stop making troubles again. But I didn't listen. I want to know why they acted like that.
They were a really nice dongsaengs to me but it change. They've become so cold and dense towards us and I know they were the once who did it. I turned her. But I was shocked at Jeongyeon's face. Her eyes were black like night sky.
Her face was colder than ever. She grip my hand that I use to grab her. She was holding on it so tight that I felt like my bones were getting crushed. She throw it and turned around. Leaving me speechless.
She walk pass Sana and Mina who make a path for her. They were the same as me. Scared of her reaction. She reach for the doorknob but before she turns it she sighed.
"Ask them yourself, Witch! I'm not in the mood." She breathe out a relieving air out of her chest and went inside.
I shivered at her answer. Mina and Sana look at me one last time and sighed. They went inside too. Leaving me outside alone. Until, I heard someone clearing his throat.
"Ehem, What are you still doing outside Nayeon?"
I froze and turned to see whose voice is that. It was our skill class teacher. Mr G-Dragon or GD for short. He grinned at me.
"Well-" He looked at his apple watch and started counting down.
I already know what it means. His giving me a chance to get inside before he throws me to detention. I quickly went inside and left him outside.
"Aint that fast!" He said and followed me inside.
