blood is thicker than the water of the land.
yet the water cleanses me -
it pleases me, purifies.
this blood that runs in my arm;
it runs out.
it burns my insides.
and collects in my head when hung upside down.
it pours like n i t r i c a c i d through my body and sends m e shaking,
t e a r s spreading,
h e a r t pulsating.
it itches and claws to free itself,
it creates a rage
that makes me swear i will burn up in flames.
