YES! The last paper is done!
I slam it on to the other papers and raise my arms in celebration.
I wonder what Tom's up to. (The first thing that comes to Tord's mind is Tom 😂 Such a love struck doofus)
I get up and walk out of my office.
*2 Hours Later*
Where the hell is Tom?!
I went around the whole base!
Matt is in the infirmary, so he's not with him...
Paul and Patryk are training and Tom's definitely not with them...
He's not in his office or his shared bedroom..
Where is he-
I hear humming.
I turn my head to the window on the left of me.
I see Tom in the garden and in the shade of a tree with flowers planted around him.
My expression softens into a calm smile and I turn fully toward the window and rest my hands on the window glass as I look at Tom.
He looks so relaxed as he smiles and rests his hands in his lap with his legs crossed in front of him.
Tom sees me and I get a little embarrassed for staring at him.
I smile and wave at him as I back away a little from the window.
Tom motion for me to come over to where he is.
I open the window and climb out.
I walk over to him and sit against the tree next to him.
"A picture lasts longer Commie," Tom says and chuckles.
"Shut up Jehovah's Witness," I say and playfully shove his shoulder.
"It's true!" Tom playfully shoves me back.
I look at the ground. "Well I couldn't help it.. You just looked so beautiful,"
I didn't mean to sound that romantic...
I look back at him and see him blushing and a little surprised looking which makes me smile.
"Sh-shut up Commie!" Tom says like he's annoyed and blush still remains on his face.
"Such a tsundere," I say and chuckle.
"Shut up!"
"Make me," I smirk.
Tom looks flustered and looks away.
"No way,"
"That's what I thought,"
Silence comes between us, but not a uncomfortable or awkward silence, more like taking a moment to breath and notice how beautiful the day is.
"Tord," Tom asks in calm voice.
"Yeah?" I ask and look at him.
"You haven't told me what you wanted to say," Tom smiles.
"What I wanted to say?"
"You know, before we got attacked?"
Shit he means my confession...
Should I say it now?
I mean, it is a beautiful day to say it...
"Tom I lo-..." I almost finish but my anxiety makes me stop.
"You what?" Tom asks and tilts his head.
I gulp and look down.
I then look to the door of the garden.
Isn't someone going to burst in and shut me up?
"Tord are you okay?" Tom asks.
I look back at Tom.
My mouth doesn't want to talk.
I look down.
I'll confess another day.
I look up at him and smile.
"I'll tell you later on Tom. Let's just enjoy how we are right now and try not to change too much in our relationship, okay?" I ask.
"Okay?" Tom says.
I face forward and smile softly at the ground.
I'm going to punch myself for not confessing later...
Tom picks a red rose from the ground and holds it out to me.
"Here have this," Tom says.
"Why?" I ask.
"It'll remind you of me when I'm not around,"
I blush and take the rose.
"Th-thanks," I look down at it.
"No problem,"

He could've confessed so easily!!
He was so close!

"Wanna get a cola?" Tord asks Tom.
Wait cola?
"Sure Tord," Tom says to Tord.
I CAN TASTE COLA AGAIN!!
HURRY AND GET UP YOU LOVE BIRDS!!
They slowly get up and it feels like ages until they get to the exit of the garden.
*Time Skip*
Mmmmm... That's the stuff.
I hold Tom and Tord's shoulders tightly as they drink from cola cans.
Why couldn't they just be big cola drinkers like me?
It would be soooooo much easier for me to relax.
I really needed this.
Cola's kinda like my drug.
It always have been and always will be.
Now I'm much more relaxed.
I let go of their shoulders when they finish.
"Edd would be so proud of us," Tom says to Tord and laughs.
"Yeah he would," Tord says to Tom and laughs as well.
I am proud of you 2.
Very proud.
Tord Pov: *2 Hours Later*
I rest my elbow on my desk with my cheek in my hand as I lovingly stare at the rose Tom gave me with blush on my face.
Why does Tom have to be so beautiful?
He just makes my heart melt into a puddle and my stomach fill itself with butterflies.
Just thinking about him makes me feel weak.
My office door opens and I hear Patryk say, "Sir the new recruits are he-"
"Mhmmm," I cut him off without looking away from the rose.
"Can I take a guess on who you're day dreaming about today Sir?" Patryk asks.
"Suuurrre,"
"It's Tom again isn't it,"
"Kiinnda obvious,"
"So when are you going to confess to him?"
"Well I almost did it 2 hours ago-"
"WHAT?! Why didn't you just do it?!"
I look at him and holds out my hands out with my arms spread a part with the rose still pinched between my thumb and index finger and say, "I got anxiety okay? Besides, our relationship is fine right now and you said yourself to make him fall in love with me first before doing anything else," I then cross my arms and look to the side with a annoyed pout.

"You know what? You're right Sir. I'm sorry for acting out," Patryk says and sighs with his eyes closed and his head facing downward.
"I mean you're kind of right, but I feel me and Tom just became good friends and I don't want to ruin that just by trying to get to the next level,"
"That makes sense,"
"Now, what were you saying about the new recruits?"
"Well the new recruits arrived Sir,"
"Alright then. Let's go," I say.
I get up and place the rose back into the water filled vase that I placed on my desk only a little while ago.
I then walk out the door with Patryk.
