Marc's POV
We entered the house. I've been here a couple of times before. But this visit will be memorable.The hall had six guards in their black suits.One of them was the one who welcomed us.
"Please take your seat Mr. Marcus, Miss Kate. The alpha will be here soon." the guard left after saying that. We were looking aroundthe place thinking about any way out for Juliette possible.
Just then, we saw george descending the stairs. He looked very different. The way he walked with ease, the very slight smile on his face, these were the things I've never seen in him before. He came to us and for the first time, he asked "Hey Marc, How are you this morning?"
That took me by surprise. "I am good Mr.George, How are you?"
"Great." he said with a smile and turned towards Kate. "Heyyyy......Kate..." it was like a song. "another day huh?"
This guy is either high or crazy. But seeing him like that and having him wish me made me feel good.That ass never considered me as a person. He sat down on the couch and we were seated as well.
"What is it that you two are here for on a saturday?"
"Uhh..It's about this contract papers with Henstridge group. We had them verified and it's kind of an emergency." said Kate.
"Can't it wait till Monday?" he asked .
"I wish it could but turns out the other way" Kate said smiling. Oh no... Kate is way too tensed. I wish he doesn't find it. I had to divert him.
"The chairman of Henstridge is leaving for Africa on Monday sir. We just got a mail. You just need to read them over and sign." I said.
"Alright." he said. He took the papers and started to verify them. Meanwhile we were inspecting every corner of the hall. We heard a whistling of the song "Singing in the rain". Kate and I slowly turned our heads and looked. George was whistling.
"You seem to be in a good mood Mr. George." Kate said with an unsure tone.
George lifted his eyes and looked at kate. He smiled and replied "Oh I am." said.
"That's good Mr. George. It is the first time I'm seeing you so happy." I said.
He frowned. I should have shut up. Geoge asked "Really? Didn't I look happy all these days?" he asked.
"It's not that sir. This is the first time I get to see you when you are happy that's all."
He nodded and looked back into the papers with a smile.
Juliette....where did he lock you up? Come on....
"I have a surprise for you." he said suddenly. He got up and left the room. Surprise???? Is it what we think it is?
A few minutes later, I found out that it was what we thought it was. He was coming down the stairs. Behind him is Juliette!!!!!
Both of them walked towards us and we stood up with surprise. He took her to us? Out of her room?
"Marc, Kate, Meet my Mate, Your Luna Juliette." he introduced us. I was dumbstruck. But kate seemed to be having a victorious expresiion on her face. She nodded and wished Juliette.
"My pleasure Luna....Wow I am really surprised. It never hit me. This is great." It was my turn to say something now.
"Pleasure to meet you Luna. I don't know much about you as our Kate here does but I know our Alpha. You will be very happy together." I said. Needless to say I was faking it.
Juliette played along and said "Pleasure to meet you too. You can just call me Juliette. Luna makes me feel like someone else. And I know you guys. So please call me by my name as you used to."
As George was busy with his papers, Kate and Juliette started to talk. Between words, Juliette looked at me. She wanted to know about the plan.We had none. I took out my pen and scribbled some words on a piece of paper as if I was writing some notes. I folded it and without George or any other guards watching, Carefully passed it over to Kate who was sitting beside Juliette. Upon recieving that paper from Kate, she hid it inside her dress.
After a while of talking with George and Juliette, I gestured her that it was time. Juliette whispered in George's ears and George got up. "Wait up guys." he said and took her inside. George came back and was back with the papers.
I waited for five minutes and with no one noticing, played my ringtone. I looked at my phone and said "Oh..It's my girl friend. Excuse me sir." I asked.
"Sure." he said. I stepped outside and put my phone in silent mode all the while posing I was answering the call. I put the phone to my ear and started talking.
"Hey honey. Iam in a meeting now." I was observing the number of guards in the garden outside. There were two guards near the entrance where I was standing. Four near the garden, three near the gate. I wanted to know how many were there near the balcony at the back.
"Hello? Hello? Honey, Can you hear me? Hello? Hold on. There is a signal problem here." I started walking towards the back of the house. Looking at me trying to speak on the phone, the guards didn't pay much attention.
As I reached the back of the house, there was one guard near the end of the garden and one near the balcony. That's it. It's time for me to start executing the plan.
"Excuse me. Sir, Yes you. Can you please come here?" I called the guard near the balcony. He saw me and walked towards me.
"Hi... Can you help me with something? Do you know this address? I started to show him some random address I wrote in my pocket book. He stared at it for a while and looked at me.
"I am sorry sir. I don't know." he said.
"Are you sure? Because it's really near by this place and I have a meeting there. Once I am done with the Alpha, I am supposed to be present there. Now Do you know the Supermarket in the next block?" I asked.
He nodded. "Yes I do."
"Yes, it is supposed to be around there somewhere. Are you sure you can't remember?" I asked.
The guard was nearly twenty feet away from the spot and was facing in the opposite direction towards me. I can see everything that happens near the balcony. What I saw while talking to him was Juliette breaking open her bathroom window and getting out of it, Holding the pipelines carefully and reaching towards the balcony.
"I'm not sure If I'm right sir. But there is a place who handles a marketing firm but the name is different." the guard said.
My eyes slashed back to him and I spoke "Yeah! yeah. I think you are right. They said they were gonna change the name but not this soon. Anyway. I'll give it a shot. Where exactly is this place?"
She reached the balcony safely. Now was the hardest part. she has to hide through the root to the wall which is not more than eight feet. But she has to take care the other guard doesn't see her.
"You cross that building and take a right, you are there." the guard said.
"Excellent. What is your name?" I asked.
"Carlos" he said.
"Well, Carlos, Thank you so much. You helped me earn a deal for the Alpha. I like you."
She hid under a bush. She slowly paced and tip-toed. Finally, she reached the wall. That's it. Just jump and run Juliette.
"You are welcome Mr.???" he asked.
"Marc. Marcus. Nice to meet you." I shook his hand.
She is climbing. Climbing... She's about to reach the top of the wall. That's it. I pray to all the gods that the other guard doesn't turn around. Come on Juliette... Come on. She reached the top. she turned the other way. She is about to jump. She is jumping.....Annnndddd......She jumped. She jumped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is out of the boundary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is out!!!!!!
"Well Carlos!!! It was nice taking your help. Thank you once again. Are you new here?" I asked.
"Yes. I was with blue moon pack before. The alpha of the pack was a good friend of Sir George's so Sir George took me from him." he said.
"I want you to do your best at your job man. I suppose your previous alpha was good?" I asked.
"Yes sir. He was very good Alpha. We all liked him." he said.
"Iam telling you because You helped me and you are new here. Don't let any single mistake to happen. I am the Alpha's right hand. Take it from me. He is the most dangerous alpha ever." I could see fear in his eyes.
"One mistake, and he'll drain the blood out of you. So, be careful okay?" I said
His eyes were wide and he nodded silently looking at me. I smiled and turned around to return inside.
"I'm sorry sir." I said walking inside. "It's my girlfriend. We are planning to get married." I said.
"Congratulations. and it's fine I understand." he said.
I sighed inwardly. Minutes passed. I wonder whether she's going the right way. It is also about time that he realized she is gone. I kept quite.
