Corbyn's POV
I made my way to the car after shutting the door to the WHY DON'T WE house. I was on my way to pick up Autumn. She was meant to be with Scott but he had said that she could stay with us because we had a bedroom downstairs and Autumn wasn't able to go upstairs with out a lift.
Autumn did know what was happening, she wasn't meant to but Zach told her how excited he was for her to be staying with us with our thinking when he walked in whilst we were face timing. I'm pleased that the boys are excited and I really hoped that it wasn't just because there was going to be a girl in the house.
I pulled into the hospital and got out the car, locking it before walking inside. I walked straight towards Autumn's room.
I turned the corner to go down her corridor and she was standing there, in leggings (knee brace included) and hoodie. Not a crutch in sight. I stopped dead, there was still about 15 metres in between us.
"Autumn what are u doing, your leg-" I trailed off because she had started walking towards me. Slowly, with a limp. As she was walking so slowly it took a while for her to reach me but when she finally did she stopped about a foot and half away from we and smiled, raising her eyebrows, trying not to laugh.
I took a step towards her and picked her up and started spinning around. I laughed as I spun round and pretty quickly her shock turned to joy and she joined in. She wasn't heavy but soon she was slipping in my arms so I placed her down, carefully, pretty closely to me.
"Autumn what - how- " I tried to speak but she put a finger on my lips.
"I wanted to surprise you" she giggled.
"Well it was one of the best surprises ever". Suddenly I realised how close we actually were. I went to take a step back but I saw Autumn stumble slightly so I put my arms round her waist to keep her up.
"Do you want to sit down?" She shook her head but I could tell she wanted to. "You sure?"
"I'm fine" she smiled at me. "Quite comfortable actually" I noticed she was looking at me straight in the eyes. Did she have the same feelings as me? I started leaning down slightly. I could feel her rising o to her tip toes. It got to the point when we were basically an inch apart.
Suddenly she ducked away out of my grasp. She turned away from me her face turning red. She looked down the corridor to her room.
"Bella can you bring me my crutches."
"Autumn I could have got them" I said as Bella came out the door.
Autumn's POV
I felt terrible, I had wanted to kiss Corbyn but when it came to it I felt like I was with Marcus again, his controlling arms around me and his height over me. I knew Corbyn was different, I knew Corbyn wouldn't be like that but when it came to the moment I just couldn't kiss him. I ducked away and saw the hurt in his eyes. I could feel my body heating up with embarrassment, so I called for Bella. She'd been waiting for me and Corbyn to come back in as the suprise was her idea in the first place.
Bella always made me feel better in stressful situations but when she came out straight away as Corbyn said he could have got the crutches for me. I didn't know what to say, panic formed and I felt a wave of anxiety coming.
"I-i need to sit down" I said faintly. They both rushed towards me, Corbyn was closer and he reached me first. He sweeped me up in bridal style and carried me towards my room. He placed me on the bed.
"I'm sorry I shouldn't have tried to..." He trailed off
"No it's ok, I wanted you to I just got reminded of Marcus, I'm sorry"
"Oh...I'm sorry, I forgot, I should have-" he started to say but I cut him off.
"No. I'm fine, it's fine." I smiled at him and he gave me a small embarrassed smile back.
"OH MY GOD I SHIP IT" I forgot Bella was there. I groaned and face palmed myself causing us all to burst out laughing.
"Well are you coming my lady, your carriage awaits" Corbyn said in a British accent.
"Only if you never try that accent again" I giggled, whilst Bella handed me my crutches whilst picking up one of my bags as Corbyn picked up the other.
As we walked along, I felt really bad. In the hospital I had never really had to go that far so when I was actually with people I couldn't go fast on my crutches and I felt like I was holding them up but they kept patiently inline with me.
After what felt like ages I was finally logged out and into fresh air. Corbyn helped me into his car and then went round to the boot to help Bella put my bags away. I could hear them talking but I was t quite sure about what. Soon they both got in the car to my suprise.
"I thought you'd like Bella to come." Corbyn told me. I laughed "how did you know?"
The drive didn't seem to take long. I had the aux cord and I played most of Why Don't We's songs really loudly with us all singing really loudly completely of tune and key (maybe apart from Corbyn, I don't think he can ever sing bad). I only stopped when we went down the road where I was hit. I looked at the marks on the tarmac from the trucks skidding and then the patch where I had lain waiting for an ambulance. I could really start to feel the scars on my back and the pain in my knee. I saw Corbyn looking at me from the corner of my eyes so I quickly started singing again, hoping I wasn't to obvious.
The boys house was really nice, we pulled up outside and me and Bella stared at it, jaws dropped whilst Corbyn put the gates code in. We parked and then the others got out and gave me my crutches.
Inside all the boys were waiting and almost as soon as I was inside I was pounced on by hugs and welcomes. Soon we were settled in their living room. Bella and Daniel kept on looking at each other, I tried to ignore it but I just had to say something.
"Do you guys know each other or something" they looked at me shocked . After 20 seconds of silence Bella said quietly.
"Daniel and Zach gave me a lift to the hospital after....you know" I nodded.
"Well I ship it" I smirked at her "Corbyn can I go unpack now"
As Bella and Daniel's faces both grew red me and Corbyn got up and he walked down a hallway to where I was staying. The room was really nice. There was a king sized bed with a little table next to it, then a built in wardrobe with mirrors on and a cute dressing table/desk. The ensuite was cool to but I didn't really look in there I just lay straight on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
"This room is so cute, thanks" I said to Corbyn who was lying next to me.
"Well your cuter" he said quietly but I heard him. I rolled over so I was facing him.
"What was that?" I teased. He rolled over to face me meaning our faces were inches apart.
"I said you were cuter" he said a small smirk growing on his face.
"No I'm not"
"Yes you are" he moved his hands so they were on my face and looked straight into my eyes. "You're the most beautiful girl I've ever met." With that he leant into kiss me.
This time I didn't resist. This time I didn't flinch away. It wasn't Marcus. This was Corbyn. This is what I had wanted almost since I'd met him. This felt right. As our lips connected passionately I felt the butterflies inside of me disappear for the first time in months.
After a bit we both had to stop, cause you know oxygen. We lay there on the bed for quite a few minutes just staring into each others eyes. I broke the silence.
"Well staying here got a whole lot better"
After about 30minutes we got up and went back to brought to the other room, where much to most people's delight(especially Jonah's) I declared a Harry Potter marathon. I snuggled up to Corbyn on the sofa as he hugged me with one arm and I saw Bella doing the same with Daniel, things must have gone well.
And for the first time in ages I felt complete, well mostly complete.

I had a bit of writer's block on this chapter but it came together as I wrote.
Also sorry for not updating quickly, I normally upload and then think that's me done for a few days, then I realise I need to update but me being dumb af I don't write quickly, but hope you're enjoying it.
