Avni went for her regular treatment sessions along with Neil
They both have rented a flat in London.....from where they daily up down to the hospital for Avni's treatment.
With Neil's support and unconditional love.. Avni was gradually recovering and showing positive signs.

Today Neil and Avni went to meet Doctor Henry to get Avni's report
Dr Henry : Congratulations Avni...your body is showing good response to the treatment....And I can say that You will surely recover very soon......
These words bring smile on the faces of Avni and Neil who were sitting in front of him in his cabin
Neil held Avni's hand in his....and they both shared a smile
Dr henry : Just bring her tommorow Neil....we will do the final part of her treatment.....that will decide her fate..
Neil : Doctor...Avni thik to ho jayegi na...Is there any complications....? Neil's concern was never ending for Avni
Dr Henry : Nothing to worry as such.....but yes the process is quite lengthy and a tough one....She has to go through a painful procedure.....But I am sure she will do it..right Avni...?
Avni nodded with a smile
Neil and Avni came back home
Avni was lost in some thoughts after returning back home
Neil's noticed her face expression and went near her
Kya hua Avni...tumhe darr lg rha hai.....?....he asked her cupping her face in his hands
Avni looked down with a sad expression on her face
Look at me Avni...meri taraf dekho.....Neil made her look in his eyes
Neil : You are strong Avni....Tum abhi tak ladti aayi ho....or ye akhri ladai hai jo tumhe ladni hai....Iske baad sirf khushiya hongi.....Or main har kadam pe tumhare saath hu...he consoled her
Avni looked in his eyes and saw the faith and the trust he has for her
Avni : Neil...agar..agar kal...kal mu...mujhe kuch....kuch ho....avni was stammering with tears in her eyes....
Neil : Shhhhhh...(neil stopped her keeping his finger over her lips)...Nhi Avni...ek lavz bhi nhi......tumhe kuch nhi hoga....Jab tak main tunhare saath hu....Tumhe darne ki koi zarurat ni hai.....Neil tried to boost her confidence and consoled her
She hugged him tight to express her emotions
Neil hugged her back "Kal ka din humare liye bhot important hai Avni....or tum dekhna kal jeet humari hi hogi......he whispered in between the hug

The Day arrived when Avni has to go through the toughest part of her treatment
It can either cure her completely or destroy her to the core....
It was a long 2 hours session in which she had to go through a minor surgery to destroy that cancer cell from her body

Doctor enters the room where Avni was already present with Neil.
Are you ready Avni....doctor asked her
Avni was little scared and nervous which was clearly seen in her face.....
...but Neil held her hands and signalled her blinking his eyes
Yes...I am ready...she said holding Neil's hand
Neil smiled looking at her
Doctor :Good I will come in a minute.....he left
Neil cupped her face and kissed her forehead smoothly..."You can do it Avni.....And I am always here with you...."he whispered to her before leaving the room

Doctor came to neil
Doctor : Neil..there is one last formality left before we operate on her....doctor said
Neil : What is it doctor....?
Doctor : Neil there is a document....which has to be signed.
Neil : No problem doctor.....I will sign it...Give it to me...he replied
Doctor : I am sorry Neil....but as per the hospital guidlines only a family member can sign it....otherwise we cant operate Avni
Neil's expression changed
Neil : But....doctor...she..she dont have any family member...you know that....And I am her family only.....I can sign it....he asked
Doctor : Rules are rules Neil...I cant do anything in this......
Doctor said that and left that place leaving the documents in Neil's hands
Neil was in a utter dilema..
At Once he looked at the papers...and then he looked at Avni lying on the bed inside the room
He was thinking alot.....but only thoughts coming in his mind was Avni's smile and her happiness.
Her happiness means everything to him....and he can do anything dor that happiness.
He thought for few seconds....looking at those papers
"I will sign it....Main krunga ye sign...." he outh to himself

Neil : Doctor kya main ek baar Avni se mil skta hu...?
Doctor : Ya sure...why not....vese bhi operation me abhi time hai.
Neil : Thanks
Neil left the papers there on the table and went inside to meet Avni
Avni looked at him and smiled
Neil sat beside her...and held her hands....kissed it softly
Neil : Avni...Kya tum mujhse pyaar krti ho....? he spoke looking in her eyes
Avni get comfused to his sudden question
Avni : Ye...Ye kaisa sawal hai Neil....or ye sab achanak....?
Neil : Bs mere sawal ka jawaab do...Do you Love me....?...he asked her again holding her hands
Avni looked in his eyes....and replied
"Jabse pyaar ko jana hai.....jabse pyaar ko smjha hai....Maine sirf tumse hi pyaar kiya hai Neil.....or marte dum tk krti rhungi..."
Neil smiled
They both looked at each other
Avni : Lekin hua kya hai Neil..aise kyu puch rhe ho.....?
Neil : To Agar aaj main tumse kuch mangna chahu.... to kya tum dogi mujhe....? neil.said holding her hands
Avni : Mere pas to jo kuch bhi hai sab tumhara hi diya hai...
.....meri hasi...meri khushi...mera vajud...sab tumse hai Neil.....
.....mere pas tumhe dene ke liye kuch bhi nhi hai.....she gets emotional.
Neil caressed her hairs and asked
"Avni...Main umar bhar ke liye....tumhara saath mangna chahta hu....or Main tumhe hmesha ke liye APNA BNANA CHAHTA HU......kya tum mujhe vo haq dogi....?.....he whispered to her looking in her eyes
she gets emotional listening his words
She gets tears in her eyes
Neil : Bolo Avni....Kya...kya...tum mujhe...vo haq dogi.....?
There was silence between both of them
She was speechless at the moment
Avni was in tears of happiness and she cant help herself in accepting his proposal
She nodded..having tears in her eyes......giving all her rights to him....and ready to become his forever.....
Neil smiled
"Main tumhare liye kuch laya hu".....he said
Avni looked at him cluelessly
Neil brings out the sindur from his pocket and Avni gets surprised seeing that...
Neil took a pinch of sindur in his hands.....and was about to apply it in her hairline......but she signalled him to stop " Ruko...Neil..kya...kya tum...tum sach me.....?
Avni was still not ready to sink in this fact that he is doing all this now....
"Avni...tum mujhse pyaar krti ho...or main tumse...isse jyada mere liye kuch mayne nhi rkhta.....
Ye sindur to sirf ek nishani hai....HUMARE IS RISHTE KO NAAM DENE KE LIYE...." he said
"Or tum mujhe nhi rok skti....kyunki.....MUJHE HAQ HAI..." he looked in her eyes
Avni looked back in his eyes and they shared an eye lock for few seconds
Neil applies the sindur...she closes her eyes as tears fell from her eyes
Neil caressed her forehead and kissed her tears falling on her cheeks.....
He also made her wear the ring...which he always carries in his pocket
Avni wore the ring happily...and hugged him back encircling her arms around his neck
Neil caresses her back and kissed over her hairs
Neil : Abse sirf khushiya hongi humari life me Avni...sirf khushiya.....Bs ab ek akhri formality bchi hai.....

Neil came out of the room...and took the papers in his hands
"Ek husband to ye papers sign kr skta ha na doctor...? he said
Doctor nodded......he smiled and patted his back
"Btayie kaha sign krne hai.."neil asked him
He sign the papers as Avni's husband and handed it over to the doctor....
Doctor : Neil....maine bohot couples dekhe hai apni life me...par trust me...tumse jyada pyaar krne wala insaan maine aaj tk nhi dekha....Avni is very lucky....Gob bless you both...he patted him before he left
Avni was watching him from inside...and Neil gave her a smile
